The telecommunications-based information technology and the provision of electronic commerce are broadening possibility of the virtual enterprise. The purpose of this paper is to enhance academic and practical understanding virtual enterprise as one of the most promising new concepts in electronic commerce area. I strive to establish the concept of virtual enterprise as a strategic source of competitive advantage in small & medium business. I analyze several new trends and concepts in strategic business area which will eventually lead small & medium business to the virtual enterprise. It has great potential benefits for small & medium businesses which are placed in difficult circumstances. They must build IT infrastructure and make use of co-sourcing for the utilization of virtual enterprise. This paper also suggests the strategic methods which enable the conventional enterprise to introduce the virtual enterprise.

최근 대규모 데이터 처리와 다양한 형태의 데이터 처리 기술이 진화함에 따라 사회문제 진단 및 현안 해결 도구로써 빅데이터의 잠재력에 주목하고 있다. 동시에 빅데이터의 위험요소로 프라이버시 문제가 강력하게 제기되고 있기도 하다. 빅데이터의 적극적인 활용과 프라이버시 문제는 서로 상충되는 관례로써 본 논문에서는 이와 관련한 당면한 문제점을 지적하고, 해외 선진국의 사례분석을 통해 우리나라의 개인정보보호에 기반한 빅데이터 활용방안을 제안하고자 한다.

Rapid Prototyping (RP) techniques have their unique characteristics according to the working principles: stair-stepped surface of parts due to layer-by-layer stacking, low build speed caused by line-by-line solidification to build one layer, and additional post processing to improve surface roughness, so it is required very high cost to introduce and to maintain RP apparatus. The objective of this study is to develop and design a new RP process, Variable Lamination Manufacturing using expandable polystyrene foam sheet as part material (VLM-S), which can make up for the disadvantage of existing techniques, and to develop an apparatus to implement the process. In order to examine the possibility of practical utilization of the proposed VLM-S process for prototyping of a general three-dimensional shape, an auto-shift lever knob and a pyramid shape were fabricated.

Recently, microalgae have been focused on potential biomass for bio-diesel and biorefinery process. The aim of this paper is to review the biorefinery process including biodesel using microalgae as a microreactor. The state-of-the-art of biodiesel and biorefinery research such as extraction and reaction process as well as byproducts utilization is described. In addition, we suggest possibility for develop bioactive substances and their industrial products from byproducts of microalgae massively obtained after bio-diesel extraction.

Data on available feed resources, feeding practices and nutrient adequacy of rations under small farm conditions in Sri Lanka were obtained in a baseline survey involving 104 pig farms. The results showed that a wide range of non-conventional feedstuffs are used for pig feeding under typical small farm conditions and that dietary protein quality is a major factor limiting productivity. Following the survey, two on-farm trials were conducted to evaluate cheaper, alternative feeding strategies. In trial 1, a test diet was formulated using several non-conventional feedstuffs and compared with a commercial feed that is normally fed in the farms. In trial 2, the possibility of improving growth rates by amino acid supplementation was evaluated. The results demonstrated that feed costs can be considerably lowered through these packages. Some problems inherent to on-farm livestock trials are highlighted.

This Study was written as part of the first Step in the Development of independent Eco-Label System and environmental Criteria for Furniture and national Furniture Industries. It contains the Definition of Furniture, ecological Design and ecological Furniture (Chapter2). and Chapter 3 Presents Characteristics of ecolo91cal Furniture. Chapter 4 Provides a Summary of the specific Criteria on a Materials used for Furniture Design with the relevant environmental Issues in the Life Cycle of Furniture, and also health 8t safety related Issues and performance Issues.

To strengthen competences, most of firms have co-operated with external partners. This increases the possibility of unexpected conflicts between firms due to the intellectual property litigation. A suitable intellectual property strategy for firms has to be developed to settle this issue. This study aims to analyze an utilization of intellectual property strategy in firms, and tries to suggest a concept of IP roadmap to support intellectual property strategy planning aligned with technology planning process. For the purposes, we derive five types of intellectual property strategy of firms using Korea Innovation Survey. Then, we explore significant affecting factors using a decision-tree and conduct in-depth analysis for them. Lastly, we suggest a concept of IP roadmap, which can be a supporting tool for developing intellectual property strategy in firms, based on analysis results.

In this study, we propose a marine character prototype study for development of a marine character as digital contents. This study is a precedent study to build a marine character database with the production of digital contents based on "Jasan-urbo". "Jasan-urbo" is a representative cultural heritage that can highlight the value of Korean marine culture as the first illustrated book of marine creatures in Korea. Therefore, we examined the use value of "Jasan-urbo" through the content approach and looked at the visualization for character utilization and then designed a marine fish species classification standard model. Finally, this study proposed the possibility of discovering prototype sources for digitalization of Korean marine creature's resources.

This paper presents a new method of measuring the ground's gradient using LNS(land navigation system) navigation data. When a vehicle equipped with LNS arrives at any place, LNS provides its navigation data which contain the information on vehicle's motion. We developed some formulas which can explain correlation between the vehicle's motion and ground's gradient. The proposed method using those formulas is shown to be accurate and convenient.

The purpose of this research was to utilize of Pattern Design System(P.D.S) by using AM-300 The conclusion were like these : 1. A coat of basic pattern was selected by design sketch. 2. The basic pattern was input into computer by digitizing. 3. The basic pattern was change into designed shape by using various skills. This system were enabled to draw straight lines, curves, delete lines, sections of lines, extend lines, cut pattern into sections, measure line or section reproduce whole pattern shape of section, rotate and mirror pattern and complete patterns. 4. Automatic grading of finished master pattern have been developed by creation and modification of grading rules of basic pattern. 5. Production pattern added seam allowance, not-ches was generated by P.D.S menu option. 6. Finished pattern design was plotted out 100% and 20% size by AM-300 Plotter. This results will be the basic materials to develop the CAD SYSTEM if some problems were improve. Furthermore, the utilization of P.D.S is expected to be developing in pattern making process.
