In our previous research, we proposed a tag emotion-based item recommendation scheme. The ternary associations among users, items, and tags are described as a three-order tensor in order to capture the emotions in tags. The candidates for recommendation are created based on the latent semantics derived by a high-order singular value decomposition technique (HOSVD). However, the tensor is very sparse because the number of tagged items is smaller than the amount of all items. The previous research do not consider the previous behaviors of users and items. To mitigate the problems, in this paper, the item-based collaborative filtering scheme is used to build an extended data. We also apply the probabilistic ranking algorithm considering the user and item profiles to improve the recommendation performance. The proposed method is evaluated based on Movielens dataset, and the results show that our approach improves the performance compared to other methods.

This study aimed to examine predictors of the intention to protect personal information on Facebook. We conducted an online survey of 679 Facebook users in the Republic of Korea. The findings of this study showed that usefulness and ease of use had significant effects on attitudes toward protection behavior. The results also revealed that risk factors (privacy risk severity and vulnerability) had significant effects on protective behaviors. Based on our findings, we discussed the information protection of privacy on Facebook.

The express/intercity bus models have been developing for wheelchair users to provide the preferable long-distance travels by the Korean government research. In the previous studies, evaluation method was set up for the wheelchair users' safety and the study for wheelchair occupants' safety was performed under various crash loadings mimic to real accidents, frontal crash, side impact and rollover, etc. This study was focused on the evaluation of occupant behaviors and injuries (head and chest) during vehicle impact loading cases in order to ensure the safety of wheelchair passengers in the bus. The occupant response and belt loading data during the sled FE simulation were compared with those of the sled test. The simulation results showed overall safety tolerances of wheelchair occupants under the severe frontal deceleration, side impact loading based on the FMVSS 214 configuration and bus rollover loading.

During the last decade, social live streaming service like Periscope, Ustream, and YouNow has developed from a niche market into a mainstream activity. In this media environment, social live streaming service has a tremendous impact on the social behaviors of users. Despite the rapid development, there are a lack of studies to make better understand the media environment changes through social live streaming service. This study adopted an affordances approach that leads us to identify six distinctive social affordances (visibility, accessibility, information sharing, social interaction, role-taking, interactive revenue) for user engagement in social live streaming service. Specifically, this study explores the impact of social affordances on perceived flow, followed by user engagement including passive and active engagement. Empirical data analysis with 258 questionnaires suggests that social affordances affected users' flow perception, and flow has an effect on active as well as passive engagement. Contrary to the expectation in a hypothesized research model, only the impact of accessibility on flow was rejected.

This study aims to reveal the various differences within the factors that influence use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention, specifically in regard to the use motives and use behaviors of Netflix viewers. This study's results demonstrate that the following various factors affected use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention in differential ways. Firstly, the diversity of content influenced use satisfaction to a greater degree than social relations; and the diversity of content, social relations, and active participation all positively influenced continuous use intention. In other words, the more positively users appreciated the diversity of content, and the more strongly they had social relations, and the more actively they participated within communities, the greater degree to which they increased their continuous use intention for Netflix. However, the diversity of content and the convenience of use also had a negative effect on the media substitution intention for Netflix, which means that the more diverse the content and the more convenient the use of Netflix, the fewer the number of users who intended to cancel Netflix and subscribe to another OTT service or resubscribe to traditional media sources.

이 연구는 대구지역 공공도서관이용자 487명을 대상으로 설문지법을 이용하여 부정적 구전행동과 부정적 구전의도를 구분하여 각각에 영향을 미치는 선행요인을 실증적으로 분석하고자 시도하였다. 분석결과 불만족의 강도와 서비스의 중요성이 부정적 구전행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 불만족의 강도와 불평태도, 서비스의 중요성, 불평비용, 충성도, 외적귀인이 부정적 구전의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 추가분석결과 불평행동경험은 부정적 구전의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

본 연구는 법학전문도서관이 제 역할과 기능을 할 수 있도록 실질적인 평가 내용을 다루어 법학전문도서관의 역할과 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하였다. 특히 법학전문도서관 사서들을 대상으로 그들의 의견을 수렴하여, 평가항목을 도출하였고, 법학전문도서관의 주 이용계층인 법학전문대학원 학생들을 대상으로 그들의 요구를 조사하고 분석하였다. 특히 독립적이고, 전문적으로 법학전문도서관을 위한 평가를 지향하였다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있으며, 법학전문도서관의 건물과 시설 그리고 소장자료의 양과 함께 소장자료의 질, 법학도서관 사서의 기능과 역할 그리고 이용자의 만족도를 증진시키며, 외적인 면과 함께 법학전문도서관의 내실을 갖추는 것을 목적으로 하였다.

웹을 통해 접할 수 있는 정보의 양이 급격하게 증가함에 따라, 북마크는 이용자가 정보요구에 적합한 웹 정보를 효율적으로 재이용할 수 있게 해주는 도구라는 점에서 중요해졌다. 이 연구에서는 웹에서의 정보 수집 및 관리 도구로서의 북마크 이용 행태를 파악하고, 이와 관련하여 북마크 기능이 어떻게 개선되어야 하는지를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 응답자 5명을 대상으로 인터뷰 및 관찰을 실시하고, 180명의 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 북마크 이용 목적에 따라 이용 행태와 기능 개선에 대한 요구사항 에 차이가 있는지를 조사하였다. 분석 결과, 웹 정보의 수집을 위해 북마크를 이용하는 경우 맥락 정보에 대한 요구사항이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 북마크 이용 빈도가 낮은 집단은 웹 정보 재이용이라는 목적에 대해 북마크 기능이 필수적이라고 여기는 것으로 나타났다.

웹 검색 분야에서 사용되고 있는 다양한 연구 방법들 중 로그 분석 방법은 이용자의 실제 검색 행위를 사실적으로 반영한다. 로그 분석을 통하여 대다수 이용자의 전반적인 이용 행태를 분석할 수 있으므로, 로그 분석 방법은 이용자 계층이 다양하고 이질적인 웹 검색 분야의 연구에 적합한 방법이라고 할수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 네이버의 트랜잭션 로그를 분석한 일련의 연구를 중심으로 로그 분석 방법론이 웽 검색 분야에 어떻게 활용되고 기여할 수 있는지를 파악하고 향후 활용 분야를 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 웹 검색 분야의 학문적 발전과 보다 효율적인 웹 검색 시스템 개발과 서비스 구축에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

대다수의 웹 검색 포탈들은 인터넷 상의 정보들을 주제별로 분류한 디렉토리 서비스를 제공하며, 이러한 디렉토리들에 대한 접근 과정을 기록한 로그는 이용자의 실제 디렉토리 접근 행위를 사실적으로 반영한다. 본 연구는 디렉토리 서비스 이용자들의 다양한 디렉토리 접근 행태를 파악하기 위해 네이버에서 생성된 디렉토리 접근 로그들을 분석하였다. "세션"을 한 명의 이용자가 단일한 정보 요구를 지니고 디렉토리들을 접근한 일련의 과정으로 정의한 후, 본 연구에서는 전체 세션들을 정보 획득까지의 경로에 따라 여섯 가지 유형으로 분류하는 방법론을 개발하였다. 또한 세션 유형별 디렉토리 접근 빈도, 세션 내 항해 길이, 세션 내 주제에 대한 분석 결과를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 보다 효과적인 디렉토리 서비스 구축을 위한 근거로서 활용될 것으로 기대된다. 것으로 기대된다.
