To analyze the applications of all types of mechanical systems, general purpose analysis programs have been developed and commercialized. However, it is customary to develop and use customized programs even though they sometimes require more work than a general purpose program. A customized program is simplified to adapt to a particular application from the beginning, is designed for small computers, and developed with hardware-in-the-loop in mind so it can be applied effectively. By adding design knowledge and bundling know-how to an analysis program, analysis time can be reduced. And because an analysis has to work in conjunction with other analysis programs, a proprietary program that the user can easily modify can be useful. In this thesis, a multi-body dynamics analysis system is presented using one of the most useful programming techniques, object-oriented concept. The object-oriented concept defines a problem from the physical world as an abstract object, an abstract model. The object becomes encapsulated with the data and method. Simulation is performed using the object's interface. It is then possible for the user and the developer to modify and upgrade the program without having particular knowledge of the analysis program. The method presented in this thesis has the following advantages. Since the mechanical components of the multi-body system converts independent modeling into a class, the modification, exchange, distribution, and reuse of elements are increased. It becomes easier to employ a new analysis method and interface with other S/W and H/W systems. To employ a new analysis method, there is no need to modify elements of the main solver and the Library. In addition, information can be communicated to each object through messaging. It makes the modeling of new elements easier using inheritance. When developing a S/W for the computer simulation of physical system, it is reasonable to use object-oriented modeling. Also, for multi-body dynamics analysis, it is possible to develop a solver that is user-oriented.

As the wireless internet technology such as mobile phone, WIBRO, HSDPA develops, customized location-based services for traffic, tourism, shopping, and emergency relief has lately attracted attention. For giving customized services. we should consider dynamic characteristics of moving object which continuously change their location. In this paper, we define the context trigger type of moving object and design triggering method for processing context generated by moving object. Also we propose location-based push service platform including context trigger of moving object for supporting location-based information to user. The proposed system gathers moving object stream from the terminal based on MS-assisted or Stand-alone positioning mode of embedded GPS in terminal extract user context by user device agent, and send context information to server.
Smart space is a technology that supports humans by interacting with the surrounding environment. Smart space has a built-in dynamic intelligent environment. This paper proposes a framework that provides user-customized dynamic intelligent environments in smart spaces. In the existing research that provides user-customized intelligent services, users' interests are only explicitly analyzed, and smart spaces are not considered. Implicit interest analysis can suggest a service that may be of interest to users rather than explicit interest analysis, but it requires higher performance than explicit interest analysis. Smart spaces can obtain useful information by interacting with information in the space. The framework proposed in the study uses a proximity-based social network of things to fit into a smart space. In addition, the implicit interest analysis provides intelligent information for smart spaces using the social media information and spatial information objects. In addition, we propose a method to prevent performance degradation while maintaining accuracy in consideration of the characteristics of the smart space.
This Study explores the reason why the social media like Cyworld, Iloveschool in Korea in the viewpoint if the layered model by interview. As a result the success factor in the viewpoint of layered model, user used social media for fulfilling the need for linking with other users and the social media offers the customized contents to user. Finally the social media dominated the market in advance. Facebook and Kakao talk are good examples of successful media. The failure factors are to care less about what other users want, to limit the expand of platform and not to copy with the change of the media environment. Iloveschool, Cyworld and Twitter are the examples of failure social media in Korean society. This study highlights the importance of the sensitivity of the change of environment. The expert mentioned the importance of 4th industrial revolution technology like AI, Big data and expected that new technology will emerge and the service will be developed by the change of user's taste.

In the user-centered design paradigm, information systems are created entirely tailored to the users who will use them. When the functions of a complex system meet a simple user interface, users can use the system conveniently. While web personalization services are emerging as a major trend in portal services, portal companies are competing for a second service, such as introducing 'integrated communication platforms'. Until now, the role of the portal has been content and search, but this time, the goal is to create and provide the personalized services that users want through a single platform. Personalization service is a login-based cloud computing service. It has the characteristic of being able to enjoy the same experience at any time in any space with internet access. Personalized web services like this have the advantage of attracting highly loyal users, making them a new service trend that portal companies are paying attention to. Researchers spend a lot of time collecting research-related information by accessing multiple information sources. There is a need to automatically build interest information profiles for each researcher based on personal presentation materials (papers, research projects, patents). There is a need to provide an advanced customized information service that regularly provides the latest information matched with various information sources. Continuous modification and supplementation of each researcher's information profile of interest is the most important factor in increasing suitability when searching for information. As researchers' interest in unstructured information such as technology markets and research trends is gradually increasing from standardized academic information such as patents, it is necessary to expand information sources such as cutting-edge technology markets and research trends. Through this, it is possible to shorten the time required to search and obtain the latest information for research purposes. The interest information profile for each researcher that has already been established can be used in the future to determine the degree of relationship between researchers and to build a database. If this customized information service continues to be provided, it will be useful for research activities.
Prior to making choices among online products and services, consumers often search online product reviews written by other consumers. Online product reviews have great influences on consumer behavior because they are believed to be more reliable than information provided by sellers. However, ever-increasing lists of product reviews make it difficult for consumers to find the right information efficiently. A customized search mechanism is a method to provide personalized information which fits the user's requirements. This study examines effects of a customized search mechanism and perceived similarity between consumers and product reviewers on consumer behaviors. More specifically, we address the following research questions: (1) Can a customized search mechanism increase perceived similarity between product review authors and readers? (2) Are product reviews perceived as more credible when product reviews were written by the authors perceived similar to them? (3) Does credibility of product reviews have a positive impact on acceptance of product reviews? (4) Does acceptance of product reviews have an influence on purchase intention of the readers? To examine these research questions, a lab experiment with a between-subject factor (whether a customized search mechanism is provided or not) design was employed. In order to enhance mundane realism and increase generalizability of the findings, the experiment sites were built based on a real online store, cherrya.com (http://www.cherrya.com/). Sixty participants were drawn from a pool that consisted of undergraduate and graduate students in a large university. Participation was voluntary; all the participants received 5,000 won to encourage their motivation and involvement in the experiment tasks. In addition, 15 participants, who selected by a random draw, received 30,000 won to actually purchase the product that he or she decided to buy during the experiment. Of the 60 participants, 25 were male and 35 were female. In examining the homogeneity between the two groups, the results of t-tests revealed no significant difference in gender, age, academic years, online shopping experience, and Internet usage. To test our research model, we completed tests of the measurement models and the structural models using PLS Graph version 3.00. The analysis confirmed individual item reliability, internal consistency, and discriminant validity of measurements. The results show that participants feel more credible when product reviews were written by the authors perceived similar to them, credibility of product reviews have a positive impact on acceptance of product reviews, and acceptance of product reviews have an influence on purchase intention of the readers. However, a customized search mechanism did not increase perceived similarity between product review authors and readers. The results imply that there is an urgent need to develop a better customized search tool in order to increase perceived similarity between product review authors and readers.

The purpose of this study is to recommend on the public library service for older adults through the analysis of the perceptions of older adults and librarians. To achieve the study purpose, interview method was employed. The interview questions are composed based on the ALA guidelines. According to the study results, the following ten factors were recommended by older adults: 1) various customized life long learning programs for older adults, 2) highly qualified staff for the public library life long learning programs and regular evaluation for the staff, 3) provision of various and new information resources, 4) promotion of public library services and programs, 5) public library staff's kindness and professionalism, 6) regular reeducation of the public library staff, 7) library user education, 8) customized resources, facilities, and equipments for older adults, 9) provision of the library space, and 10) customized library services for older adults. In addition, the following four factors were mentioned by librarians: 1) customized services and programs for older adults, 2) customized collection, facilities, and equipments, 3) adequate budget for public library service for older adults, 4) professionals for the public library service for older adults. The followings were recommended by both the older adults and librarians: 1) Customized library services, programs, collection, equipments, facilities for older adults, 2) Professionals for the public library service for older adults and Regular reeducation for them.
In this paper, we describe CAMAR Companoin, a context-aware mobile AR system that provides a user-adaptive assistance with an augmented picture according to the user's context in smart space. It recognizes physical objects and tracks the movement of those objects with a camera embodied to a mobile device. CAMAR Companion observes a mobile user's context, which is sensed by various kinds of sensors in environments, and infers user preference for the content in the situation. It recommends multimedia content relevant to the user's context. It overlays selected content over associated physical objects and enables the user to experience the content in a user-centric manner. Furthermore, we have developed the prototype to illustrate how our system could be used for a mobile user's well-being care applications in smart home environments. In this application, we found that our system could perceive a user preference even though a user's context is changed dynamically, and then adapt the multimedia content with respect to the user's context effectively. As such, the proposed user-adaptive system has the potential to play an important role in developing customized user interfaces in mobile devices.
Korea is facing various social problems including single elderly household, increase in the number of disabled people and poverty rate and a difference in the proportion of males to females between urban areas and rural areas along with the advent of rapid aging society. Especially, the ratio of poor households in rural areas residing in housing which falls below the minimum housing level and most of them are in the dead zone of housing welfare. In addition, if it is impossible for them to move (relocate) to new housing, the house remodeling is the only measure for improving their housing welfare. However, we don't have enough prior relevant academic and practical experience, and house remodeling requires a series of process including prior planning construction and post-occupancy evaluation, but almost no fundamental research that provides relevant insight has been carried out. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe all field situations that occur in the whole customized house remodeling process for disabled female senior citizens living alone in a rural area. The remodeling process was classified into initial planning stage, field verification and adjustment stage and construction stage as the method to participate in the field directly, and any change in the remodeling plan and its causes at each stage were analyzed. As a result, some remodeling items were changed from the main viewpoint of participating parties before the beginning of construction and for reasons such as the deterioration level of housing site, limitation in building equipment and rearrangement of housing, etc., and the remodeling method and its details were developed. It was identified that constant change that occurred in the remodeling process resulted from 1) unique poor characteristics of existing housing and 2) physical condition of residents and their unique lifestyle characteristics that were two aspects required to be emphasized by customized remodeling.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current practices of the customized bibliographic instructions (CBI) at four-year academic libraries in Korea. Among the entire 206 academic libraries, a total of 149 libraries participated in the survey. Study result shows that the libraries providing CBI was 63.1%. The findings of the study revealed the overall picture of the CBI operated in Korean academic libraries. The findings of the study suggested useful strategies to apply in adopting and operating the CBI in academic libraries in Korea.
