This paper deals with the problem of appropriately allocating multiple processors arriving at the ready queue to the block in the user space of the main memory is divided into blocks of variable size at compilation time. The existing allocation methods, first fit(FF), best fit(BF), worst fit(WF), and next fit(NF) methods, had the disadvantage of waiting for a specific processor because they failed to allocate all processors arriving at the ready queue. The proposed algorithm in this paper is a simple block packing algorithm that allocates as many processors as possible to the largest block by sorting the size of the partitioned blocks(holes) and the size of the processor in the ready queue in descending order. The application of the proposed algorithm to nine benchmarking experimental data showed the performance of allocating all processors while having minimal internal fragment(IF) for all eight data except one data in which the weiting processor occurs due to partition errors.

In this paper, we propose system access control software that improves the survivability of the naval combat system while maintaining security and stability. The software was improved by improving the operating environment configuration and user authentication process of the system access control software that constitutes the naval combat system, defining the operating environment classification of the naval combat system, and applying a software parallel execution process considering the load rate. Through this, the waiting time required to configure the environment is shortened, providing rapid operation to the operator, and improving the fact that the naval combat system cannot be operated unless the environment configuration is completed even in emergency situations. In order to test the performance, a test environment was created by simulating the existing naval combat system, and the execution time for each operation category was measured and compared. Compared to the existing naval combat system, the execution time of the basic combat system was reduced by about 69.3%, the execution time of the combat system was reduced by about 54.9%, and the execution time of the integrated combat system was confirmed to be reduced by about 8.4%.
The evaluation of public transit service quality is more complicated than evaluating other aspects of transportation service. Although various measures of effectiveness [MOEs] for transit service have been studied and applied, a more comprehensive and accurate MOE is still required. In the past, either data from user surveys or the experience of bus agency administrators and/or engineers used to measure the quality of service. However, recently, with reliable and accurate real time data from BMS(Bus Management System) and BIS(Bus Information System), more reliable and accurate MOEs are available. This study develops a service evaluation model from users' perspectives, which is based on user' cost models that consider passenger access time, riding time, waiting time, and discomfort due to in-vehicle overcrowding, violation of traffic laws, and accident rate. For validating proposed model, data from the BMS and transit-fare cards (T-Money Card) for Seoul's No. 472 main bus line were used. Models developed in this study provided reliable results.
The planning procedure of a transit operation consists of design, operation, and evaluation according to the research characteristics. There are some review studies on the operation and evaluation procedure, but the research on the design procedure has not yet been organized systematically. In this study, the research on transit system design was reviewed and the model structure and its solution method were arranged. The decision variables of the design procedure are network structure, line spacing or position, stop spacing, dispatching headway, and fleet size. In the analytical research on design procedure, system total cost is generally used as the objective function. System total cost is comprised of user cost, which is the sum of user access, waiting, and travel cost, and operating cost. Total cost of the transit system, used as the objective function, has the unique minimum because it is differentiable. There is a certain decision variable that makes the derivative of the objective function equal to zero and the second derivative of the objective function is positive. Therefore the decision variable that makes the first derivative of the objective function zero is the optimum that minimizes the objective function, and each of the cost components of the objective function become the same. This study is expected to help understanding about the research on the design procedure of transit operation planning and to help be a catalyst for relevant research.

This paper proposed a mobile multicast technique to satisfy end-to-end QoS for various user requirements in mobile network environment. In order to provide seamless mobility, fast handoff technique was applied. By using L2 mobile trigger, it was possible to minimize remarkable amount of packet loss by delay occurred during handoff. To provide efficient multicast, concept of hierarchy was introduced to Xcast++, which results in a creation of HXcast++. HXcast++ optimized transfer path of multicast and reduced expensive multicast maintenance costs caused by frequent handoff. Suggestion of GMA (Group Management Agent) mechanism allows joining to group immediately without waiting IGMP Membership query during handoff. GMA mechanism will minimize the delay for group registration process and the resource usage due to delay of withdrawal process. And also use of buffering & forwarding technique minimized packet loss during generation of multicast tree. IntServ/RSVP was used to provide End-to-End QoS in local domain and DiffServ was used in global domain. To minimize reestablishment of RSVP session delay, extended HXcast++ control messages ware designed to require PATH message. HXcast++ proposed in this thesis is defined as multicast technique to provide end-to-end QoS and also to satisfy various user requirements in mobile network environment.

Bus stop is necessary to improve user-focused environment to offer convenient service because of the large number of passengers. This study is to analyze user's evaluation and establishment model of the service levels at bus stop using GAP analysis, IPA and Structural equation model and suggests improvement direction of bus stop. In the GAP analysis, on thirty-one service items of bus stop, the difference appeared highly from the items such as obstacle's facility and the information related to the using bus. In the current IPA service bus operation information, cadence facility and obstacle support facility need to be improved. And in service expectation bus operation information and th exchange facility, the obstacle support facility need to be improved continuously. The evaluation model of bus stop service due to a structure equation's was fitted well by structure equation. In overall satisfaction on bus stop, the waiting satisfaction is more affect the satisfaction of bus use facility. Satisfaction in bus use facility, the related information of bus operation, cadence facility, bus operation information and trans facility, obstacle support facility is more affect compare to other items. The lower overall satisfaction in bus stop is the higher the expectation of overall satisfaction is. Therefore, the information of bus operation and the support facility for the handicapped needs an active improvement plan than ever.
This study is a basic research to suggest user-centered general hospital environmental design guidelines, which aims to analyze user's behavior characteristics across generation in general hospital. For this purpose, this study constructed an analysis tool through the literature review with regard to generation and behavior characteristics in general hospital. Besides, an online survey regarding user's behavior in general hospital was conducted targeting from 20s to 60s, 300 persons for each group, total 1,500 persons for about 3 weeks since September 1, 2016. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Based on the generation, there were significant differences in relevant categories of their visiting frequency, visiting purpose, visiting hour, transportation, companion, behavior during the wait and selection of a general hospital. (2) In all generation, they responded that they have visited once or twice per year. People in 20s and 30s responded that their visit for the hospital is to receive specific treatment, while other people in 40s, 50s and 60s visit the hospital majorly for routine check-ups. Therefore, it is imperative for a health check-up center to design an environmental plan that reflects the characteristics of elders in 40s, 50s and 60s. (3) People in 40s, 50s and 60s usually visit a general hospital in the mornings of weekdays, while generations in 20s and 30s responded that they mostly visit the hospital in the mornings of weekend. (4) When they visit a general hospital, people in their 20s are usually using public transportations, while people in their 30s to 60s are using their own vehicle. (5) People in their 20s majorly visited 'lobby'. In older generations, they tend to visit 'outpatient clinic'. Therefore, it is necessary to build an outpatient clinic environment that considers the elderly. (6) Patients majorly responded that they are using their cell phone, while waiting for their clinic call. In elder generations, they responded that they are more likely watching TVs, reading books/magazines or doing nothing. Therefore, it is essential to provide cell-phone related services and environmental supports. Visually attractive media can be utilized for this purpose.

This study was conducted to develop evaluation indicators to improve athletic performance and operational management of golf courses and the results of the research are as follows. Through theoretical research and a preliminary professional survey, 15 on-going evaluations of golf course composition and operational management and 55 sub-evaluation indices were rejected while 10 on-going evaluations and 52 sub-evaluation indicators were reconfigured as final for environmental-friendliness, level of member services, level of human service of game personnel, difficulties of course, management level of the course, fairness of operational management, accessibility and location characteristic, traditions and ambiance of the golf club, quality of course, and course layout. When analyzing the important decision factors in golf course user preference evaluation indicators, the following contributed in the order of higher to lower contributions: the management level of the course, excellence of the course, level of human services for personnel, course layout and environmental-friendliness. When identifying the path coefficient of golf course evaluation indicators, the curvature of a hole and the length of the course had a causal effect on the 'course layout' section. Tournament facilities and various shot values had a causal relationship with 'excellence of the course', in the order of higher to lower, and convenience of waiting and fair allocation of reservations for 'fairness of operational management'. The history of the golf course and its environmental characteristics, history and culture of the region have relatively higher causal effects on 'traditions of the golf club' and geographical conditions on 'accessibility and location characteristics', pesticide and fertilizer usage and water pollution on 'environmental-friendliness', and member benefit and kindness of employees on 'level of member services'. The kindness and expertise of the game personnel had a relatively higher causal effect on the 'level of human services of game personnel', the location of tenning area, and location of OB and hazards on 'difficulties of course', and rough conditions and obstacles management on 'management level of the course'. There is a need to complete a systematic evaluation index system for golf course user preferences through future studies for a more detailed assessment, as well as a process to verify these evaluation indicators by application to domestic and international golf courses.
MPEG-4 is a standard for multimedia applications and provides a set of technologies to satisfy the needs of authors, service providers and end users alike. In this paper, we suggest a Real-time Multiple Circular Buffer (M4RM Buffer) model, which is suitable for streaming these MPEG-4 contents efficiently. M4RM buffer generates each structure of the buffer, which matches well with each object composing an MPEG-4 content, according to the transferred information, and manipulates multiple read/write operations only by its reference. It divides the decoder buffer and the composition buffer, which are described in the standard, by the unit of frame allocated to minimize the range of access. This buffer unit of a frame is allocated according to the object description. Also, it processes the objects synchronization within the buffer and provides APIs for an efficient buffer management to process the real-time user events. Based on the performance evaluation, we show that M4RM buffer model decreases the waiting time in a buffer frame, and so allows the real-time streaming of an MPEG-4 content using the smaller size of the memory block than IM1-2D and Window Media Player.

The purpose of this study is to improve interaction with the construction subject by analyzing the contents and contents of users' involvement in landscaping works. For this purpose, this study selected the Gwanggyo Residential Land Development District Public Landscape Project in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. For four years before and after the completion, the opinions of tenants were used as research data. Both qualitative and quantitative analyses of 412 complaints received by the project implementation office and local government were conducted. As a result, first, the main purpose of suggesting opinions was 'demanding and expressing complaints', and there were many 'parks' and 'rivers'. In terms of content, "quality" was the most pointed out, but many kinds of trees, such as tree planting, ecological river construction, and pavement construction were also mentioned. Second, the extraction of key words from content analysis was the most common method. Followed by 'additional foodstuff' and 'moving to the toilet and management building'. Much of the point of view about dead wood has continued to be conspicuous in the process of waiting to be dealt with at the time of transplanting. Third, the validity of the contents of the complaints was evaluated as a five - point scale. Therefore, the opinions raised were unreasonable, but overall, there were more complaints with certain objectivity.
