휴대폰의 사용자 인터페이스 설계를 위한 사용자들의 기초 사용특성 분석 - 20대와 30대 사용자들을 중심으로 - (Users Basic Characteristics for Designing the User Interface of Mobile Phone - Focus on the twenties and the thirties -)

  • In mobile phone, complex user interface tend to cause the degradation of product usability. This problem is mainly due to the small hardware user interface of mobile phone. That is, because many functions must be operated in small hardware interface, the principle of one-to-one mapping between a function and a control is disregarded in design, often. In order to resolve this problem, users' characteristics must be considered in the user interface design of mobile phone. So, users' basic characteristics that must be considered in the user interface design of mobile phone were studied through two experiments, questionnaire survey and user testing.

국내 오픈액세스서비스의 이용자 만족도에 관한 연구 (An Study on the User Satisfaction of Open Access Activities in Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 오픈액세스서비스에 대한 이용자의 만족도를 분석하여 향후 오픈액세스 활동의 활성화 및 발전방안 수립을 위한 전략과제를 도출하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 오픈액세스코리아 서비스의 이용자를 대상으로 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 서비스별 품질을 나타내는 이용자의 만족도 지표는 해당 서비스에 대해 이용자들이 지각하는 품질을 측정할 수 있도록 설계하였으며, 품질지수, 만족지수, 성과지수로 구성되었다. 분석결과 사회적 품질, 사회적 만족 등의 항목은 상대적으로 높게 산출되어 국내 연구자들의 오픈액세스서비스에 대한 사회적 기여도 및 공익성 측면에서의 긍정적인 평가와 기대를 확인하였다. 반면, 서비스 과정품질 항목은 상대적으로 낮은 만족도를 보여주었으며 국내 오픈액세스 콘텐츠의 부족에 대한 의견이 다수 도출되어 국가 차원의 전략수립 시 콘텐츠 개발 및 확보 전략에 대한 고려가 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 오픈액세스에 대한 정책적 지원, 오픈액세스 저널 출판 및 리포지터리 운영, 거버넌스체제 구축 및 오픈액세스 홍보활동을 통한 연구자들의 참여 유도, 글로벌 공조체제 구축 등이 전략과제로 제시되었다.

스마트 디바이스 기반 교육서비스 디자인을 위한 사용자 기대 가치 (User Expectation Values for Smart Device based Education Service Design)

  • 본 연구에서는 스마트 디바이스 기반 교육서비스에 대하여 학습자들이 추구하는 기대 가치가 무엇인지 사용자 경험의 측면에서 접근하여 밝혀내고, 그 결과를 통해 향후 새로운 서비스를 디자인 하는데 있어서 도움이 되고자 하였다. 이를 위하여, 문헌과 집단 대면 인터뷰를 통하여 71개의 기대 항목을 도출하고 이를 활용한 설문을 진행하여 총 13개의 기대 가치를 도출였다. 최종 도출된 스마트 디바이스 기반 교육서비스 디자인을 위한 사용자 기대 가치는 '자신만의 맞춤화된 학습', '언제 어디서나 학습', '진로와 연계될 수 있는 학습', '상호작용을 통한 학습', '다양한 학습 자원을 활용한 학습', '협력을 통한 학습', '교류를 통한 학습', '나에 의한 학습', '실제적인 맥락 하에서 이루어지는 학습', '피드백이 제공되는 학습', '자투리 시간을 활용하는 학습', '동기와 보상을 제공받는 학습', 그리고 '단계적으로 이루어지는 학습' 이었다. 또한 이러한 사용자 기대가치는 여성 집단, 고등학생 집단 그리고 스마트 디바이스 기반 교육서비스에 대해 '잘 알고 있음'으로 응답한 집단에서 보다 높은 것으로 나타났다.

A Study of user-centric service model and user satisfaction analysis for information service

  • Lately, influence of information rises and interest about satisfaction estimation of information providing service is risin. According to rapid change in information environment, information-providing service is being changed in various form, in which center development is made in relation to the effort for customer satisfaction intended to enhance user's satisfaction level through providing more convenient and higher service centered on information service user rather than information service provider. Organizations providing information service is also changing their service from traditional one centered on service provider to that for user's satisfaction and service quality, and evaluation of information service quality and measurement of user's satisfaction as the result of using information service are regarded important. In this respect, it is needed to measure user's satisfaction level for environmental factors of information service and analyze what kind of influence they have to enhance user's satisfaction level of information service. Also function and efficiency of information offer service are important. Therefore, interest for satisfaction survey to heighten contents satisfaction of information-providing service, service satisfaction, satisfaction of user of system satisfaction is increased. In this paper, we propose a model of the user satisfaction index for information-providing services and present the user satisfaction index is measured to the model. Also we this study suggest qualitative improvements of information-providing service required for change to user-centric information-providing service through measuring user satisfaction index of ITFIND system and schemes to improve information quality

스마트폰 채택 및 지속사용에 있어 사용자 저항과 사회적 영향력의 역할에 대한 탐색연구 (Exploring the Roles of User Resistance and Social Influences on Smartphone Acceptance and Continuous Usage)

  • This study examines the roles of user resistance and social influences on the acceptance and continuous usage of smartphones at different stages of adoption. The respondents were classified into three groups according to their innovation adoption stage : non-user group, the potential user group and the trial user group. Theories relevant to user resistance, social influences including normative social influences and informational social influences, as well as user adoption and continuance behavior were reviewed and integrated into our research model. In order to verify the proposed structured equation model, we conducted an online survey by targeting mobile phone users and collected data to be analyzed through a partial least squares (PLS) test. This study tested whether there exists differences in the effects of user resistance and different types of social influence on user's adoption or continuance intetion among these three groups. The results showed that user resistance exists in all adopter groups and that it has significant negative influences on intention to use a smartphone. The findings also revealed that user resistance can be enhanced or resolved by two types of social influence; informational social influence resolves user resistance regardless of the adopter category, while normative social influence enhances the user resistance of potential users. Furthermore, the findings show that social influence regardless of the type positively affects user intention. Several theoretic and practical implications pertaining to the results are discussed.

스마트웨어의 수용 요인에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Key Factors in User Acceptance of the Smart Clothing)

  • 본 연구는 스마트웨어의 사용자 수용 요인에 관한 연구로서 기존의 이론적인 연구과정에 대한 고찰과 이를 신기술인 스마트웨어에 적용하고자 하는 근거를 제시하였다. 신제품에 대한 소비자 수용 및 저항에 대한 연구를 중심으로 혁신의 특성, 소비자의 지각된 위험, 기존의 소비자의 수용 모형 등을 살펴보고 잠재적으로 예견된 스마트웨어 수용모델에 대해 살펴보았다. 이러한 응용으로 시나리오를 기반으로한 스마트웨어의 수용요인을 조사하였다. 본 연구에서는 시나리오를 기반으로 사용자들의 니즈를 파악하고 그러한 니즈로부터 각 디바이스의 기능을 적용할 수 있는 SNFD 분석을 사용하였다. 사용자를 대상으로 FGI를 실시한 결과로부터 사용자니즈를 파악하고 기능 범주화를 하였으며 정서 및 태도를 도출하였다. 시나리오에서 제시된 기능에 대한 필요도와 각 시나리오의 정서적 느낌에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 사용자는 건강과 운동에 대해 관심이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 사람들은 스마트웨어의 건강 지원 기능을 가장 필요로 하고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

최근 1년 내 한방의료이용에 영향을 미치는 요인 - 2020년 한방의료이용 실태조사를 활용하여 (Factors Affecting the Utilization of Korean Medicine in Last 1 Year : Analysis of the National Survey on Korean Medicine Utilization, 2020)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to identify the factors that affect the utilization of Korean Medicine within the past year. Methods : I analyzed micro-data from the Korean Medicine Utilization Survey (2020), which surveyed the general public. "User (in last 1 year)" were defined as those who had used Korean Medicine within the past year, while "Non-user (in last 1 year)" were defined as those who had used it in their lifetime but not within the past year. I examined several factors, including general characteristics, perceptions of Korean Medicine, satisfaction with Korean Medicine, and intention for future utilization. I conducted the Rao-Scott chi-squared test and complex sample logistic regression analysis. Results : I analyzed a total of 3,762 respondents, of which 1,442 (36.3%) were User (in last 1 year) and 2,320 (63.7%) were Non-user (in last 1 year). User (in last 1 year) and Non-user (in last 1 year) differed significantly in terms of demographic characteristics, perceptions, and satisfaction with Korean Medicine. Women, the elderly, those with low education levels, non-married individuals, those with low-income, chronic diseases, and poor subjective health conditions were significant factors. Those who used Korean Medicine within the past year were more knowledgeable about Korean Medicine than those who had not used it recently, and recognized herbal medicine as safer. In terms of satisfaction, User (in last 1 year) were more satisfied than Non-user (in last 1 year). The more women, the older, the more aware of Korean Medicine, the safer they perceived herbal medicine, the more satisfied they were with its use, the better their subjective health condition, and the absence of chronic diseases, the less they experienced Korean Medicine. Conclusions : The study showed that positive experiences and perceptions of Korean Medicine increase the likelihood of its utilization. Individuals with better subjective health conditions and without chronic diseases have a lower possibility of using Korean Medicine.

QFD 기법을 이용한 패키지 소프트웨어의 품질 요구사항 획득 (Acquiring Quality Requirements of Package Software using Quality Function Deployment Technique)

  • In this paper, the QFD(quality function deployment) technique is used to acquire the quality requirements of package software which is sold in commercial software shop. To select the principal quality characteristics of package software, an user survey was conducted for a quality model developed based on the international standards and the previous research. The software user is divided into three groups: the general user, the expert, and the developer. Based on the survey results, the top 10 quality characteristics are selected including accuracy, suitability, installability, de-installability, and maturaty. Then, the QFD technique is applied to choose the software quality attributes which have strong correlation with the selected quality characteristics, some of which are traceability, accuracy, modularity, completeness, and self-descriptiveness. The developed procedure can be used in evaluating the quality of package software with lower costs and efforts.

배재대학교 캠퍼스 외부 공간에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Outdoor Space of Campus in Paichai University)

  • This study aims at reconsidering the spacial structure and suggesting guidelines for campus planning and design with spatial reference to the Campus of PaiChai university, area $208,499m^2$, Taejon. This study is mainly based on user's behavior and physical traces and questionnaire survey. User's behavior and physical traces were carefully observed by 20 students of dept. of landscape architecture at each alloted zone, 6 zones in Campus. Questionnaire survey, consisted of user attitudes, use satisfaction factors and personal items was carried out to 320 persons. As a result, the item of 'rest' shows the highest mean and the item of 'chatting' and 'meeting' follows to utilization purpose. The length of stay is generally 30minute to 1hour. The factor analysis, on the object of 32 items except 4 item, appeared 8 factors: visual elements, activity, vehicle, plants, practicality of street furniture, bench, spacial use and shade.

보건소 방문건강관리사업의 편익 분석 (Benefit analysis of visiting healthcare in public health centers)

  • Objectives: This study is aimed to analyze service user's benefit and perceived-outcomes of visiting healthcare. Methods: Using a questionnaire survey we analyzed the subjective service quality and satisfaction of survey respondents. The sampling was designed with socioeconomic characteristics(age, sex, user group et al.), and each respondent (N=1,000) was presented with double-bounded dichotomous choice questions. To measure the value of visiting healthcare, we employed a contingent valuation method. Results: The respondents were satisfied with service and quality on visiting healthcare. And the acceptance-to-pay of respondent's benefit was 50,458 won for each visit and in totality, service user's benefit was 185.9 billion won. Conclusions: It is necessary to invest in visiting healthcare in public health centers.
