A Study of user-centric service model and user satisfaction analysis for information service

  • Lately, influence of information rises and interest about satisfaction estimation of information providing service is risin. According to rapid change in information environment, information-providing service is being changed in various form, in which center development is made in relation to the effort for customer satisfaction intended to enhance user's satisfaction level through providing more convenient and higher service centered on information service user rather than information service provider. Organizations providing information service is also changing their service from traditional one centered on service provider to that for user's satisfaction and service quality, and evaluation of information service quality and measurement of user's satisfaction as the result of using information service are regarded important. In this respect, it is needed to measure user's satisfaction level for environmental factors of information service and analyze what kind of influence they have to enhance user's satisfaction level of information service. Also function and efficiency of information offer service are important. Therefore, interest for satisfaction survey to heighten contents satisfaction of information-providing service, service satisfaction, satisfaction of user of system satisfaction is increased. In this paper, we propose a model of the user satisfaction index for information-providing services and present the user satisfaction index is measured to the model. Also we this study suggest qualitative improvements of information-providing service required for change to user-centric information-providing service through measuring user satisfaction index of ITFIND system and schemes to improve information quality

사용자 인지 서비스 가용도의 시뮬레이션 모델 (Simulation Model for User-Perceived Service Availability)

  • 전통적인 시스템 차원에서의 신뢰도 분석 모형에서 탈피하여 사용자가 인지하는 서비스 가용도에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 우선 서비스 가용도 모형에 대해 살펴보고 이의 근간을 이루는 UBG에 대하여 논하였다. 그리고 사용자 모델, 시스템 모델 및 서비스 모델을 복합적으로 고려하여 서비스 가용도를 산출하는 시뮬레이션 모델을 제안하였다. 아울러 예제를 통하여 사용자 모델의 UBG와 시스템 모델을 작성하고 이를 토대로 서비스 모델을 정의하는 일련의 과정을 보여 주었다. 그리고 시스템 모델과 UBG의 여러 파라메타들이 서비스 가용도에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다.

서비스 가치 관점에서의 e-정보서비스 사용 의도에 관한 연구 (Determinants of the intention to use information services)

  • Recently, many e-business companies started to charge fees to the use of information contents service. However, little is known about how users evaluate and determine to purchase information services. Past technology adoption research has focused primarily on the positive utility gains side, focusing on usefulness and ease of use. Purchase of e-service, however, involves not only the position utilities but also negative utilities. This research uses the service value model(SVM) and explains user's intention of purchasing a new information service. Based on the Perceived Value Framework, this research investigates the impacts of the service quality and the fee charge on the user's perceived service value and further on user's intention of adopting the e-service. One of the most important postulations of this research is that both service quality and the fee charge influence user's intention through affecting the user's perceived service value. This research presences a conceptual model of users' e-service evaluation process. The conceptual framework provides a basis for understanding how perceptions of quality and sacrifice influence value perceptions and purchase intentions. The results of an empirical research suggest that the both service quality and fee charge have influences on the perceived service value. However, they do not directly affect user's intention to purchase the e-service. They affect user's intention to purchase through affecting the perceived service value. In conclusion, this research provides a base to build on for other research studying use intention model of new e-service.

Development of Personal Information Protection Model using a Mobile Agent

  • This paper proposes a personal information protection model that allows a user to regulate his or her own personal information and privacy protection policies to receive services provided by a service provider without having to reveal personal information in a way that the user is opposed to. When the user needs to receive a service that requires personal information, the user will only reveal personal information that they find acceptable and for uses that they agree with. Users receive desired services from the service provider only when there is agreement between the user's and the service provider's security policies. Moreover, the proposed model utilizes a mobile agent that is transmitted from the user's personal space, providing the user with complete control over their privacy protection. In addition, the mobile agent is itself a self-destructing program that eliminates the possibility of personal information being leaked. The mobile agent described in this paper allows users to truly control access to their personal information.

3차원 서비스품질 모형을 적용한 공공도서관 서비스품질이 이용자 만족도와 이용자 충성도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effect of Public Library Service Quality on User Satisfaction and User Loyalty according to Brady & Cronin's Three-Dimensional Service Quality Model)

  • 본 연구는 3차원 서비스품질 모형을 적용한 공공도서관 서비스품질이 이용자 만족도와 이용자 충성도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는가를 파악하기 위해 연구모형을 설계하고 검증하였다. 이를 위해 지역 및 도서관 특성을 고려하여 서울 및 경기도 21개의 공공도서관에서 이용자 설문조사를 실시하여 유효표본 353부를 연구에 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 서비스품질의 물리적환경품질(PQ), 상호작용품질(IQ), 결과품질(OQ)은 이용자 만족도(US)에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 서비스품질의 결과품질(OQ)은 이용자 충성도(UL)에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이용자 만족도(US)는 이용자 충성도(UL)에 영향력이 있음을 파악하였다. 이용자 만족의 선행요인으로 품질의 향상은 이용자의 만족도 향상에 직접적으로 영향을 주고, 이용자 충성도에 영향을 주는 핵심요인은 이용자 만족도이며, 서비스 결과에 대한 품질 인식은 이용자 만족도와 이용자 충성도에 직·간접적으로 영향을 주었다. 변화하는 공공도서관 이용자의 욕구에 대한 대응을 할 수 있는 연구가 활발히 이루어져야 할 것이다.

QoS Guaranteed Secure Network Service Realization using Global User Management Framework (GUMF);Service Security Model for Privacy

  • GUMF (Global User Management Framework) that is proposed in this research can be applied to next generation network such as BcN (Broadband convergence Network), it is QoS guaranteed security framework for user that can solve present Internet's security vulnerability. GUMF offers anonymity for user of service and use the user's real-name or ID for management of service and it is technology that can realize secure QoS. GUMF needs management framework, UMS (User Management System), VNC (Virtual Network Controller) etc. UMS consists of root UMS in country dimension and Local UMS in each site dimension. VNC is network security equipment including VPN, QoS and security functions etc., and it achieves the QoSS (Quality of Security Service) and CLS(Communication Level Switching) functions. GUMF can offer safety in bandwidth consumption attacks such as worm propagation and DoS/DDoS, IP spoofing attack, and current most attack such as abusing of private information because it can offer the different QoS guaranteed network according to user's grades. User's grades are divided by 4 levels from Level 0 to Level 3, and user's security service level is decided according to level of the private information. Level 3 users that offer bio-information can receive secure network service that privacy is guaranteed. Therefore, GUMF that is proposed in this research can offer profit model to ISP and NSP, and can be utilized by strategy for secure u-Korea realization.

음악 스트리밍 서비스 사용자 경험 모델에 관한 실증 연구 (An Empirical Study on the User Experience Model of Music Streaming Service)

  • 음악 스트리밍 서비스는 음악 소비 과정에서 사용자와의 다양한 상호작용이 발생한다는 점에서 사용자 경험(User Experience: UX)에 대한 이해가 중요하다. 본 연구는 사용자 경험의 '구조'(Structure)를 분석한 선행연구, 음악 서비스 사용자가 중요하게 생각하는 '품질 특성'(Quality Characteristics)에 관한 선행연구를 토대로 음악 스트리밍 서비스의 사용자 경험 모델을 개발하고 그 타당성을 검증하였다. 음악 스트리밍 서비스 사용자를 대상으로 한 설문 데이터를 분석한 결과, 기능성(검색, 브라우징, 개인화된 추천), 유저 인터페이스 사용성, 콘텐츠 품질(현재성, 충분성, 관련성), 금전적 비용이 해당 서비스에 관한 사용자 경험 결과(사용자 만족)를 결정하는 주요 요인인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한, 국내 서비스들과 글로벌 서비스를 비교한 결과, 기능성과 콘텐츠 품질에 대해서 사용자 경험의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 제안한 음악 스트리밍 서비스 사용자 경험 모델은 관련 이론 기반 연구에 새로운 토대가 될 수 있으며, 실제 플랫폼들 간의 경쟁 구도 및 그들의 경쟁 전략에 대한 의미 있는 시사점을 제공한다.

User-to-User Matching Services through Prediction of Mutual Satisfaction Based on Deep Neural Network

  • With the development of the sharing economy, existing recommender services are changing from user-item recommendations to user-user recommendations. The most important consideration is that all users should have the best possible satisfaction. To achieve this outcome, the matching service adds information between users and items necessary for the existing recommender service and information between users, so higher-level data mining is required. To this end, this paper proposes a user-to-user matching service (UTU-MS) employing the prediction of mutual satisfaction based on learning. Users were divided into consumers and suppliers, and the properties considered for recommendations were set by filtering and weighting. Based on this process, we implemented a convolutional neural network (CNN)-deep neural network (DNN)-based model that can predict each supplier's satisfaction from the consumer perspective and each consumer's satisfaction from the supplier perspective. After deriving the final mutual satisfaction using the predicted satisfaction, a top recommendation list is recommended to all users. The proposed model was applied to match guests with hosts using Airbnb data, which is a representative sharing economy platform. The proposed model is meaningful in that it has been optimized for the sharing economy and recommendations that reflect user-specific priorities.

핀테크 지급결제 서비스 수용 저항요인 연구 : 혁신저항이론과 현상유지편향이론을 중심으로 (The Study of User Resistance to Fintech Payment Service: In the Perspective of Innovation Diffusion And Status Quo Bias Theory)

  • Purpose Global fintech industry is proliferating. Although domestic investment in fintech service is also increasing fast, user acceptance of fintech payment service seems slower than expected. Previous fintech literature mainly focuses on overall characteristics and technical aspects of fintech including security issues and explores factors affecting the service adoption. This study aims to examine crucial factors affecting user's resistance intention to fintech payment service adoption. The research model was formulated based on innovation diffusion theory and status quo bias theory and validated empirically. Design/methodology/approach The proposed research model was empirically validated with 149 responses from college students who have used fintech payment service. The component-based SEM was employed for data analysis. Findings The significant findings are as follow. First, compatibility has significant negative effect and complexity, and perceived risk has a positive effect on user resistance. Second, institutional trust does not show a significant effect on user resistance but has an indirect effect through the mediation of trust in service provider. Finally, trust in service provider shows the significant negative effect on user resistance.

  • Ubiquitous Computing 환경은 컴퓨터 중심의 환경이 아닌 사용자가 편리성과 효율성이 극대화된 서비스들을 제공 받을 수 있는 사용자 중심의 환경이다. 이러한 환경에서 사용자들은 자신의 정보가 언제 어디서 사용되고 있고 어떠한 목적으로 유출되고 있는지 알기 어렵다. 따라서 사용자를 식별하고 개인의 특성에 따라 관련된 서비스를 제공하는데 있어 사용자의 필요정보를 적절하게 보호할 수 있는 메커니즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 Ubiquitous환경에서 특정목적에 국한된 서비스 제공이 아닌 다양한 목적에 따라 서비스가 제공될 수 있도록 사용자의 목적과 상황에 맞는 User Model을 제안하고자 한다. 또한 사용자의 상황에 맞는 Context Content를 구별하여 Privacy등급을 결정하고 사용자마다 독립적이고 안전한 Context-Aware Service를 제공하는 User Model은 사용자마다 정해진 정적 Context와 상황에 따라 변화하는 동적 Context를 모두 고려하여 높은 신뢰성과 안전성을 지닌 방법을 제공한다. 그리고 제안된 User Model의 정의와 시나리오를 설명한다.
