  • Nowadays the development of mobile systems occupies significant part of our life, and users using mobile phones are demanding the utilization of differentiated spatial information. A study on application which provides information according to individual location information such as mobile advertisement is conducted for the location-based mobile service. In order to allow mobile phone users to share information based on local information, this paper proposes a mobile sharing system which combines social networks and location-based service to provide efficient information based on location information in mobile phones. The application can be provided with information associated with its location when the mobile phone user arrives at a specific location. Another proposed method focuses on providing more appropriate services for individual situations compared to other applications, and can contribute to expanding social networking functions to facilitate information sharing among users.

  • Unlike general ships, offshore plants require high reliability due to their long operating time at fixed positions when they are operated. Sensor-based status information is required for user and maintenance worker to ensure safety. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system for safety diagnosis and inspection of cargo lift for offshore plant. It consists of a sensor unit mounted on the cargo Lift, an embedded system measurement unit, and a monitoring unit for real-time data verification. It is based on the ship standard network IEC 61162-450 for the exchange of operating information and sensor measurement information in accordance with the upgrading and integration of equipment in maritime.

  • DDS (Data Distribution Serivce) communication middleware is spreading to various private sector as well as the defense sector because it can obtain a very high application effect in a complex system environment in which a plurality of data producers and data consumers are connected by a network. However, application development using DDS middleware is an inefficient structure with a lot of repetitive codes because most users perform 1: 1 mapping with the message they want to exchange. Accordingly, the user has to perform unnecessary repetitive tasks as the topic increases. Therefore, a development support tool that identifies a series of processes required for using DDS middleware and automatically generates the classes that are repeated by Topic is required. In this paper, we propose a method for DDS communication by automatically generating a common class for efficient use of DDS middleware.

  • This paper describes several algorithms for technology mapping of logic functions into interesting and popular FPGAs that use look-up table memories. In order to improve the technology mapping for FPGA, some existing multi-level logic synthesis, decomposition reduction and packing techniques are analyzed and compared. And then new algorithms such as node-pair decomposition, merging fanin, unified reduction and multiple output decomposition which are used for combinational logic design, are proposed. The cost function is used to minimize the number of CLBs and edges of the network. The cost is a linear combination of each weight that is given by user. Finally we compare our new algorithm with previous logic design technique[8]. In an experimental comparison our algorithm requires 10% fewer CLB and nets than SIS-pga.

  • The Client-Server model is a computing technique that efficiently uses distributed resources via networks. But, generating an application using Client- Server model requires many different expertises to developers in comparison to that of using the centralized computing method. That is, and application developer must be familiar with network programming and GUI(Graphical User Interface) techniques in addition to conventional programming skills. Accordingly, the time and man power have been issued for building a Client-Server system. To alleviate these problem, the Client-Server applications development tools are needed To meet such a need, we developed a GUI based tool, called Hanuri/C, for generating Client-Server application programs. In comparison to existing Client-Server tools, Hanuri/C is reinforced Multimedia facilities, Hanuri/C is reinforced Multimedia facilities. Hanuri/C is considered as a front-end part of distributed system software. That is, Hanuri/C is a Client-Server tool similar to Forth Generation Language(4GL) supporting multimedia application on top of the Distributed Computing environment(DCE). In this paper, we present the design and implementation method of the middleware part of Hanuri/c.

Gaze Detection System by IR-LED based Camera (적외선 조명 카메라를 이용한 시선 위치 추적 시스템)

  • The researches about gaze detection have been much developed with many applications. Most previous researches only rely on image processing algorithm, so they take much processing time and have many constraints. In our work, we implement it with a computer vision system setting a IR-LED based single camera. To detect the gaze position, we locate facial features, which is effectively performed with IR-LED based camera and SVM(Support Vector Machine). When a user gazes at a position of monitor, we can compute the 3D positions of those features based on 3D rotation and translation estimation and affine transform. Finally, the gaze position by the facial movements is computed from the normal vector of the plane determined by those computed 3D positions of features. In addition, we use a trained neural network to detect the gaze position by eye's movement. As experimental results, we can obtain the facial and eye gaze position on a monitor and the gaze position accuracy between the computed positions and the real ones is about 4.2 cm of RMS error.

  • We investigate the optimal resource and power allocation for device-to-device (D2D) communications in a multicell environment. When D2D links reuse the cellular radio resources, each D2D user will interfere with a cellular link and other D2D links, in its own cell as well as in adjacent cells. Under such situation, we propose a coordinated resource allocation scheme that can handle the intercell interferences as well as the intracell interference. For a given resource allocation, we also formulate a power optimization problem and present an algorithm for finding the optimal solution. The resource and power allocation algorithms are designed to maximize the achievable rate of the D2D link, while limiting the generated interference to the cellular link. The performance of the proposed algorithms is evaluated through simulations in a multicell environment. Numerical results are presented to verify the coordination gain in the resource and power allocation.

  • The Future Generation Networks(FGNs) are proposed to integrate various heterogeneous access technologies, and further expected to support both vertical and seamless handovers. In this motivation, the IEEE 802.21 specifies Media Independent Handover(Mlli) services to enhance the mobile user experience by optimizing handovers between heterogeneous access networks. Additionally, Fast handover for MIPv6(FM1Pv6) is introduced to provide transparent host mobility and to improve handover performance by reducing handover delay as well. This paper focuses on the coordination of FMIPv6 and MIH, and introduces an enhanced mobility management framework suited for FGN. This novel framework replaces handover signaling messages used in wireless networks with novel MIH messages and local primitives. Moreover, Serving Access Router(SAR) performs most of handover processes instead of Mobile Node(MN). Therefore, the proposed mobility management framework reduces handover latency, packet loss, and signaling overhead significantly. We further evaluate the performance of the proposed framework by using both numerical analysis and network simulations.

  • This study investigates the antecedents of continuance intention of mobile SNS. In addition, it also explores the mediating role of perceived value in the relationship between the antecedent and continuance intention. This study posits that a social influence, perceived usefulness, privacy concern, and a perceived effort of use are major factors to influence continuance intention of SNS. By using a PLS analysis, this finding suggests that consumers' perception of the value of SNS which is previously overlooked, is a primary determinant of continuance intention, and the other exploratory factors are mediated through perceived value in cognitive aspect. This research aims to examine consumer's SNS continuance intention in terms of consumer's perspective, not just from the technology user perspective. Therefore, this research provides a useful guideline for marketing managers on how to manage Mobile SNS properly.

  • N-screen is a Service that can be provide for One Service Multi Device. If the network is changed or if the device is changed after authentication the device fits seamlessly send footage. Security threats that occur here have a problem with user authentication. In this paper proposes available in a multi-device the authentication system. Homomorphic Encryption Algorithm of authentication scheme used. Among the authentication mechanism that already exists is a simple and lightweight authentication mechanism. In addition, N-screen service that uses multiple devices is simple authentication process of the device. Review the results of proposed authentication protocol, encryption algorithm to process a small storage capacity and is easy to work in low processor. And was suitable for use with multiple devices.
