ICANN has been governing the Domain Name System(DNS) "technically" since 1998. The architecture is called Internet Governance, and it brings about many different discourses; "What does that govern?", "Who delegate its role to ICANN?"," How could the regime ensure fairness?" etc. This article will analyze on Internet Governance by applying the government approach of Foucault, and try to compare two parts, the 'core' and the 'edge' of Internet Governance for method. Whereas the 'core' of it refers the site that be governed by the formal contract directly, the 'edge' as the rest of it means informal friendly relations with ICANN. The 'core' rule was stemmed from technological community such as IAB or IETF historically. They had invented new world and its population to integrate the technical order as protocol and the semiotic order as language, that be based on new government mode. On the other hand, ".KR" domain, one of the 'edges', has been evolved into more heterogeneous system, through contest and conflict between traditional state and Internet Governance. The governed object of ".KR" domain is situated in the crossing of each other the 'protocol user', the 'language-semiotic user' and the' geographical resident'. Here the 'geographical resident' rule was weird for DNS, so that shows the internal lack of Internet Governance. It needs to move to the concept of 'Hangeul(Korean-language) user' rather than the 'geographical resident'.

컴퓨터기술과 통신기술이 결합하여 정보통신기술이 비약적인 발전을 하면서, 그 산물인 인터넷의 사용인구가 급증하고 있다. 정보화사회를 대표하는 인터넷을 통해 인간의 정보활용 능력이 획기적으로 증대되었다. 이에 따라 인터넷 이용자가 폭발적으로 확산됨에 따라 인터넷이용자들과 소비자들을 보호하는 법제들이 제정되고, 개정되고 있음에도 불구하고 인터넷이용자들의 피해가 날이 갈수록 증가하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 인터넷 이용자 보호를 위한 제도 개선방안을 도출하기 위하여 인터넷 이용자보호 관련 주요 이슈를 공정한 정보의 제공, 계약체결단계의 의무 등 개별서비스유형별 이슈로 세분화하여 현황 및 문제점을 분석한 후 개선방안을 도출하여 보았다.

무선인터넷으로 상호작용 하는 정보를 다양한 그래픽으로 가시화하면서 인터페이스를 통일화한 무선인터넷 단말기용 GUI (Graphic User Interface)가 사용자의 선택의 폭을 확장하고 감성만족도 향상에 크게 기여한다는 점에서 매우 고무적인 기술적 진전으로 받아들여지고 있다. 특히 최근 무선인터넷 단말기의 해상도와 색상이 높아지면서 사용상의 편의성과 시각효과를 강조한 GUI를 요구하고 있어 향후 이 분야의 연구가 크게 증가할 것으로 전망된다. 모바일 컴퓨팅의 인터페이스는 사용자들의 미감과 정보효율성에 중요한 영향을 미칠 것이다. 현재 국내 상황은 무선인터넷업체와 GUI 디자인업체가 핸드폰 PDA 스마트폰 등 무선인터넷 단말기를 통일된 사용방법으로 작동하면서 다양한 그래픽 화면을 처리할 수 있게 해주는 GUI개발에 전력하고 있다. 사례연구에서는 Nokia 3650 모델과 MS의 Orange SPV 모델이 제공된다. 이 두 모델의 사용성 비교평가를 통해 PDA와 Phone이 결합된 형식의 차세대 스마트폰 UI 개발에 벤치마킹하고자 한다. 2535세대의 취향에 맞는 유저빌리티 개발을 중심으로 WIPI WAP 메뉴를 구성 하고, WAP서비스 및 VM Browser, PDA Browser개발을 위한 연구 자료로 활용할 수 있으며 사용자의 디자인 선호도 분석을 통해 WAP 메뉴로의 접근성을 감성적으로 강화시키고자 함이 본 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 평가모형은 무선인터넷단말기를 개발하는 개발자, 디자이너, 기획자들에게 보다 효과적인 인터페이스 분석 자료를 제공하며, 스마트 폰 개발 시 고려해야 할 Check point 제시를 통해 WIPI 폰의 GUI Guideline으로의 활용을 기대한다.

Authentication between Server and Client is necessary in most of Internet Service because of increasing of using of Internet. Unix-based Server upgraded security of user authentication using "Shadow Password" instead of "crypt" function. But "Shadow Password" most use same authentication method about all services. But we individually can set user authentication method using PAM(Pluggable Authentication Module). This paper will propose user authentication system using Linux-PAM that use SMART CARD as authentication token.

The researches of science and engineering need the latest information from internet resources. But searching and filtering processes of appropriate web documents from huge internet resources are very complex as well as having some repeated procedures. In this paper, I propose a Personalized Agent System(PAS), which can filter World Wide Web Documents that the user is interested, such as papers. Recently, growth of internet causes rapid changes in many areas of statistics such as statistical computation and education. Especially, bootstrap is the most interesting statistical methods applying computer resampling simulation. In this study, we try to present how to use a method of bootstrap on the internet. We also develop to user a statistical system which is programed with java applet for user to handle easily.

In this paper, an contemplate the direction for Usable Security in IT security and User Experience. To evaluate how the user interface is convenient to use, we examine the components such as the property, learnable property, memory simplicity, faults and satisfaction level. By considering for the security, we should bring positive effects on the user experience. By emphasizing usability and security at the same time, we should increase the satisfaction level of the user experience and then produce the valuable experience through participation, use and observation. The positive user experience is the important task for the software engineering, business administration and others., and this will result satisfaction of the users, brand trust, and success in the market. On the other hand, for the negative user experience, the users cannot achieve their desired goal and therefore, are unsatisfied due to emotional, rational and economic inconvenience. Due to this, we should try to maintain a certain level of usability and security of the system in IT security and User Experience.

This paper proposes an intelligent technique for data sharing and event transition among personal devices including smart phones, laptops, and desktops. We implemented the PES (Personal Event Service) system that proactively executes appropriate tasks across multiple devices without explicit user requests by sharing the data used by the user and recognizing user intention based on the observed actions of the user for specific devices. The client module of PES installed on each device monitors the user actions and recognizes the intention of the user. The server provides data sharing and maintenance for clients. The connection between client and server is established by Java RMI (Remote Method Invocation). A series of experiments were performed to evaluate user satisfaction and system accuracy, and the results showed that the PES system can proactively provide appropriate, personalized services with a high degree of satisfaction to the user in an effective and efficient manner.

인터넷의 확산과 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 활성화로 인해 최근 방송과 통신의 융합 서비스인 IPTV가 인터넷 서비스의 새로운 모델로 주목 받고 있다. 특히, IPTV 환경에서는 기존의 실시간 방송이나 주문형 비디오 (Video-on-Demand) 뿐만 아니라 양방향 멀티미디어 서비스나 고품질 디지털 콘텐츠 등과 같은 다양한 서비스를 제공한다. 하지만, IPTV 가입자수의 폭발적인 증가와 방대한 콘텐츠에 따른 트래픽의 증가는 IPTV 환경에서의 효과적인 네트워크 자원 관리에 어려움을 발생시키고, 결과적으로 품질 저하를 초래하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 IPTV 환경에서 네트워크 자원을 보다 효율적으로 이용하기 위해 사용자의 VoD 서비스 이용 행태를 고려하여 향후 잠재적인 서버의 부하 및 대기 시간에 대한 예상치를 계산하고 이를 서버 부하 분산에 적용하는 알고리즘을 제안한다.
