This study explores the effects of VR (Virtual Reality) store vividness, which is one of VR shopping environmental features used in previous research, on user satisfaction. In addition, the mediating role of immersion between VR store vividness and user satisfaction is investigated. The moderating role of self-efficacy is also explored since the effects of vividness and immersion on user satisfaction may depend on a consumer's perceived shopping self-efficacy. A total of 58 participants experienced a VR store with the Oculus Go VR headset. To test the hypotheses, model 14 of Process Macro 3.4 is used (95% Confidence Interval). According to the results, immersion mediated between VR store vividness and user satisfaction. Additionally, there was a significant interaction effect between immersion and self-efficacy on user satisfaction. When a consumer experiences high immersion at a VR store, consumers may have a strongly positive experience, especially among those who have a perceived low shopping self-efficacy.
This study examined the impact of chatbot service quality (process quality, outcome quality, and servicescape quality) on user satisfaction and reliability by identifying the relationships between user satisfaction, reliability, immersion, and the paths of three variables influencing reuse intention. The survey was conducted of Korean users in their teens and 70s who had experience using chatbot services. A total of 218 convenience samples were extracted and the data analyzed. By the IS success and SERVQUAL model, the results of structural equation modeling revealed that the chatbot service quality did not affect user satisfaction and reliability. However, user satisfaction and reliability of the chatbot services were shown to lead to reuse intention, and user satisfaction was shown to affect immersion and immersion in reliability. The results showed that satisfaction, reliability, and immersion in the chatbot services were important factors in the chatbot reuse intention. Through the satisfaction and reliability gained through the service, the users wanted to reuse the chatbot services, especially the chatbot services that gained reliability, which will have a greater impact on reuse intention. We can use these results as marketing information to attract loyal customers by identifying the reuse intention of the chatbot service users.

In games, immersion is the most important factor that makes the player play game continuously. The user's inability to immerse in game makes him/her not interested in game, so it makes the user give up. So, we must perceive the immersion factor that the games have. By applying the factors that causes immersion to the game development, we will be able to multiply the joy of game to the user, and bring high profit to the game developing enterprises. To this, this study finds out the interrelations between the factor of immersion existing inside the game and the components of the game to experience the highest immersion status to the user.

This research studies NPCs applied by Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) Technology. This study set three independent variables as characteristics of the NPCs applied GPT. User immersion is set as a mediator variable, while user game satisfaction and loyalty are chosen as dependent variables. The Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory is employed to study user attitude changes, and immersion is examined through the Flow Theory. The study found that interactions between NPCs and users directly and indirectly influence user satisfaction and loyalty. This suggests that NPCs capable of providing users with desired information, rather than merely following predetermined protocols, can enhance the user's affinity for the game. Furthermore, the intelligence and human-likeness of NPCs were found to indirectly influence satisfaction and loyalty through immersion. These findings underscore the importance of GPT-applied NPCs in the gaming industry, with potential implications for the future development and enhancement of such NPCs within games.

Immersion is a features of VR technology, and the most important condition for evaluating VR experience. With the improvement of VR technology, including the presentation accuracy of VR content, the degree of interaction is diversified, the user's immersion in VR equipment should not only be improved technically, but researched from the user's perception level. The paper defines two important factors, immersion and presence, in a participant's experience with a VR device. Although the current technology can already simulate the real environment information visually and audibly, the content of the VR environment is not enough for us to achieve a completely real experience. Based on the Flow theory of Csikszentmihalyi and the sensory immersion achieved by current technology, this paper proposes the key factors of how to achieve conscious immersion for users in VR media. We prove that immersion is an indicator of the true degree of sensory simulation of VR equipment and is the basis for the realization of flow experience. What really makes the participant feel a perfect experience is the content provided by the VR environment and gave participants a sense of presence, it is not limited to video or games. On the premise of the Multi-Sensory, Immersion, Interactivity and Imagination experience achieved by using virtual reality technology, combined with the content creation of flow theory, the interactive immersion achieved by users is an important method to realize the awareness immersion of VR equipment.
This study, depending on the diversification of the information environment, was carried out to analyze the role of visual cues and the relationship between visual information structure in the process of user's visual immersion and recognition. Thus, we design evaluation model which used scientific instruments and subjective evaluation taking into account the latest graphical user trends, and analyze the data of immersion and recognition of the user experience that acquired through the process more systematic experimental procedure. Based on this, in the future, this study will be able to contribute implement the latest broadly applicable to the device of graphical information user basic design model and a standard evaluation model.
Recently, high-performance HMDs (Head-Mounted Display) are becoming wireless due to the growth of virtual reality technology. Accordingly, environmental constraints on the hardware usage are reduced, enabling multiple users to experience virtual reality within a single space simultaneously. Existing multi-user virtual reality platforms use the user's location tracking and motion sensing technology based on vision sensors and active markers. However, there is a decrease in immersion due to the problem of overlapping markers or frequent matching errors due to the reflected light. Goal of this study is to develop a multi-user virtual reality moving platform in a single space that can resolve sensing errors and user immersion decrease. In order to achieve this goal hybrid sensing technology was developed, which is the convergence of vision sensor technology for position tracking, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor motion capture technology and gesture recognition technology based on smart gloves. In addition, integrated safety operation system was developed which does not decrease the immersion but ensures the safety of the users and supports multimodal feedback. A 6 m×6 m×2.4 m test bed was configured to verify the effectiveness of the multi-user virtual reality moving platform for four users.
Computer games should keep user's immersion for fun. Flow can be occured on the balance of user's game skill level and the difficulty level of the challenges by an immersion theory. Computer games can make automatic control of the challenge difficulty level but user's game skill makes difficult to know instantly its level on gameplay because the skill is decided by game goals, user tendency, or user experience. In this paper, we proposed a method of measurement of user's gameplay skill level that we can know the skill level instantly on gameplay. The proposed methods require to be implemented in the stages of the design and implementation of the computer game to be used. Computer games can keep continuously the balance of user's game skill level and the difficulty level of the challenges in order to occur flow immersion by using the proposed measurement method and automatic control methods of the difficulty of game challenges.
This study examines determinants of user immersion for Korean drama and entertainment genre programs among Chinese students in Korea. The major results are as follows: firstly, user immersion for entertainment genre was more greater than that of drama genre. Although drama was tended to evaluated based on star appearance and narrative structure, entertainment program was favored by its pleasure and vividness. Secondly, there were gender differences for entertainment and drama genre programs between male and female respondents. Also, there was a correlation between drama immersion and duration of stay. Thirdly, although determinants of drama immersion were program characteristics, duration of stay and drama preference, those of entertainment immersion were program characteristics, appearance of star players and entertainment preference.

The AR(Augmented Reality) is the technique that make the fusion between real world and virtual object. The augmented object on real world can provide the visualization of digital information to user. Also, the real-time AR system makes the interaction between user and computers. Therefore, the immersion of user be increasing and help the information transfer to user with AR system. In this paper, we implement the AR system with the modeled VRML as a three-dimensional object using programming language. The application technique is proposed that augment the various virtual clothes to three-dimensional avatar. Moreover, we propose the novel interface by using marker that can be increase the immersion of user.
