  • Recently, Since growth of the ubiquitous computing environment and development of networking technology, User is a possible to connect the Internet out of constraints of time and space. Using RFID of core technique of ubiquitous computing, various application cases are increasing rapidly. In this paper, we propose design of the User-Centered Document Generation System which can makes several format of documents using RFID information stored in relational database. Our system can makes HTML file, EXCEL file and XML document file that provide for users over internet. Also, whenever user need to the document that can save easy and conveniently them on local computer and then is a possible to exploit them for other works.

  • In this paper, we propose software architecture for conveying contents-based OpenSound Control (OSC) packet from manipulation user interface to cooperative remote multi-robots. The Flash application is used as a controlling user interface and the physical prototyping of multi-robots were developed using physical prototyping toolkit.

This paper gives an overview of design and implementation of such a system in Java Expert System Shell (Jess) and have compared some of the limitations by using two different implementation approaches.

  • Due to the development of ICT, with using hardwares such as WiFi, 3G and GPS and so on, smartphone could have provided a lot of applications with novel functions rapidly. Through such applications, lots of personal information such as personal location, personal images, and list of phone calls is created, saved and widely used. Because there is lots of leakage of the stored personal information due to loss of phone and application, privacy violation have been important issue nowadays. Smartphone with GPS and Internet provides location information. To protect the information, the technologies that only the authorized user can access it while inquiring the location information have been proposed. In this paper, to minimize the identification information for location information subject and information user and anonymize the identifiable information such as phone number, we proposed a model that can reduce the leakage of information and avoid the wrong usage of the stored information in the server. This technique will be used for protecting privacy when developing the application that provides routing service through location history information.

  • In this study, a function that informs the trash can users about daily collectable trash types and the visiting schedule of collection trucks with an application-based push alarms is proposed along with other function that lets the user to receive the information regarding the volume of trash cans located near his/her residence and monthly average trash volume once the user registers his/her personal information online. This functions are used for the UX design between smart trash can and users. The proposed system allows trash collection trucks to find the most efficient path from their current positions by finding out users' trash can volumes in advance. The UX design and the smart trash can system proposed in this study aim to improve the trash processing efficiency by allowing users to check the volume of their trash.

  • This paper designed a smartphone application with sequence problems which users can improve their learning ability and this application is implemented as serious game which is designed for the special purposes of education with entertainment and game-like fun at anytime and anywhere during the spare time. Also to prove learning effects through sequence of number application under ubiquitous environment which is popular these days, the proposed serious game which has various types of sequence questions is implemented based on the iphone and android environments. User characteristics and learning effects which are based on game record of proposed application are analyzed according to socio-demographic characteristics.

  • Smart devices are great tool to get a lot of information of user by variety sensors, application, web. The information is good clue to seize pattern of user. So, we can expect that customized content-service will be possible based on utilizing information of user. This expectation alters the type of content-service from just providing lots of contents to smart devices to recommendation contents which wanted, needed, favorite looking by user. For this customized content-service, a system model like a curator in galleries or museums is required. So, in this paper, we suggest Intelligent Contents Curation(ICCuration) model which has 3 sub modules with sensing, analysis and filtering information of user. The collected information of user are processed up to scenarios and the scenario is a clue for selecting contents which will be recommended to users. In the scenario has user's preferences and behaviors as well as devices informations as elements. So, contents can be optimized not only domain category but type of media for devices.

  • The Sensor technology and portable device capability able to collect recent user information and the information about the surrounding environment haven been highly developed. A user can be made use of various contents and the option is also extending with this technology development. In particular, the initial portable device had simply a call function, but now that has evolved into 'the 4th screen' which including movie, television, PC ability. also, in the past, a portable device to provided only the services of a SMS, in recent years, it provided to interactive video service, and it include technology which providing various contents. Also, it is rising as media which leading the consumption of contents, because it can be used anytime, anywhere. However, the contents available for the nature of user's handheld devices are limited. because it is very difficult for making the contents separately according to various device specification. To find a solution to this problem, the study on one contents from several device has been progressing. The contents conversion technology making use of the profile of device out of this study comes to the force and profile study has been progressing for this. Furthermore, Demand for a user is also increased and the study on the technology collecting, analyzing demands has been making active progress. And what is more, Grasping user's demands by making use of this technology and the study on the technology analyzing, providing contents has been making active progress as well. First of all, there is a method making good use of ZigBee, Bluetooth technology about the sensor for gathering user's information. ZigBee uses low-power digital radio for wireless headphone, wireless communication network, and being utilized for smart energy, automatic home system, wireless communication application and wireless sensor application. Bluetooth, as industry standards of PAN(Personal Area Networks), is being made of use of low power wireless device for the technology supporting data transmission such as drawing file, video file among Bluetooth device. With analyzing the collected information making use of this technology, it utilizes personalized service based on network knowledge developed by ETRI to service contents tailor-made for a user. Now that personalized service builds up network knowledge about user's various environments, the technology provides context friendly service constructed dynamically on the basis of this. The contents to service dynamically like this offer the contents that it converses with utilizing device profile to working well. Therefore, this paper suggests the system as follow. It collects the information, for example of user's sensitivity, context and location by using sensor technology, and generates the profile as a means of collected information as sensor. It collects the user's propensity to the information by user's input and event and generates profile in the same way besides the gathered information by sensor. Device transmits a generated profile and the profile about a device specification to proxy server. And proxy server transmits a profile to each profile management server. It analyzes profile in proxy server so that it selects the contents user demand and requests in contents server. Contents server receives a profile of user portable device from device profile server and converses the contents by using this. Original source code of contents convert into XML code using the device profile and XML code convert into source code available in user portable device. Thus, contents conversion process is terminated and user friendly system is completed as the user transmits optimal contents for user portable device.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a cultural and artistic content guide service that can provide customized guides according to the disability status of the disabled who consume cultural and artistic contents. It is designed to provide a more individualized service through user input of disability information including the type and degree of disability of the disabled, the type of cultural and artistic content desired by the disabled, and information on the cultural and artistic level of the disabled. In addition, it is not limited by time and place, and it has the distinction of providing appreciation of cultural and artistic contents and commentary information of the corresponding cultural and artistic contents in various ways on the application. In particular, to provide cultural and artistic contents differently by identifying the type or degree of disability of the user, or to provide cultural and artistic contents with different expertise in consideration of the user's cultural level and taste, and to improve the cultural level. The most special feature is that it provides recommended content in consideration of the difficulty of art content. User analysis was conducted through in-depth interviews and persona techniques. As a result of the analysis, the needs for the enjoyment of culture and arts are also increasing among the disabled, while the services that reflect those needs are very insufficient. Therefore, all interviewees stated that they are willing to actively utilize these services if they are released. In the future, it is necessary to increase the accessibility of the disabled to culture and arts by developing various services using new ICT technologies.

  • The u-GIS national land information providing technology is the technology which maximizes the application of u- GIS data through the national land information platform technique of the next generation web and provides a user with the on-demand national land information in the ubiquitous environment. Recently, as the environment emphasizing the web as a platform 'Web 2.0' emerges, the where 2.0 which is paradigm is diffused in the spatial information area. And the Geo-spatial Web technology develops in a center. Moreover, it is changed to the open platform of the user participation trend. And the consumer of the geo-spatial information is changed to the end-user center from the public institution. The geo-spatial technique is technologically faced with the new challenge. In this paper, we analyze the technical tendency about a paradigm, And we present the u-GIS national land information platform technique, the u-GIS national land information visualization technology, the u-GIS national land information GeoDRM integrative technique, and the u-GIS national land information mobile application technology as the essential elemental technology for overcoming this.
