As software is becoming increasing important to the human society, so does the effort to produce them is also increasing.. All of these efforts can be at risk when source code of the application is reverse engineered by the software pirate. Many attempts have been made to protect Intellectual Property Rights (IPR); one of the newest attempts to protect IPR is software watermarking. It is used to prove ownership right when IPR are violated, and also prevents the bandit from altering the code for his own use. In this paper we are presenting a new technique for software watermarking know as Dictionary Based Software Watermarking (DBSW). DBSW works by embedding dummy instructions in source code with the help of predefined mapping already available in the dictionary. These instructions are identical to the normal instructions of the program and are hard to identify or to extract from the watermarked program. With the help of DBSW we not only can stop source code alteration but can also identify the buyer how has distributed the pirated copy.
In this paper, we introduce the fast decoding method with the SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) instructions for HEVC RExt (High Efficiency Video Coding Range Extensions). Several tools of HEVC RExt such as intra prediction, interpolation, inverse-quantization, inverse-transform, and clipping modules can be classified as the proper modules for applying the SIMD instructions. In consideration of bit-depth increasement of RExt, intra prediction, interpolation, inverse-quantization, inverse-transform, and clipping modules are accelerated by SSE (Streaming SIMD Extension) instructions. In addition, we propose effective implementations for interpolation filter, inverse-quantization, and clipping modules by utilizing a set of AVX2 (Advanced Vector eXtension 2) instructions that can use 256 bits register. The evaluation of the proposed methods were performed on the private HEVC RExt decoder developed based on HM 16.0. The experimental results show that the developed RExt decoder reduces 12% average decoding time, compared with the conventional sequential method.

This study suggests a theoretical model of information literacy instructions in the context of the Extended Essay included in IB(International Baccalaureate) Diploma Program Core. The study particularly analyzed I-LEARN model as a model to teach and learn with information for inquiry-based learning since the model was developed for the purpose of learning with information. Some school districts in Korea adapted IB programs to address the need for better education. Findings indicate the followings. First, students can achieve deep understanding by applying a model of information literacy instructions that provides scaffolding. Second, the expected roles of school librarians in information literacy instructions for Extended Essay are process specialists, teachers, and instructional partners. Third, I-LEARN model is appropriate as a framework to teach information literacy skills for inquiry needed for Extended Essay. Fourth, I-LEARN assessment rubric is useful in assessing the process and outcomes of students' information seeking and use. Implications include that school librarians should develop themselves as experts in information literacy instructions for inquiry-based learning such as Extended Essay, and that Korean schools recognize the crucial role of school librarians in teaching information literacy skills for inquiry-based learinng.
A defect on the product safety display is defined by a failure to prevent the damage caused by the inappropriate explanation, direction, and caution to warn the users of the related risks. In other words, it lacks the sufficient instructions or caution for proper use and is unable to furnish the possible danger of the product and the instructions to deal with it. The defect is the responsibility of the manufacturers who are supposed to provide the adequate information so as to prevent injuries of the users. However, in order to prove the product safety display defective, there should be a comprehensive consideration in many different ways such as social norms (such as property and expectation of the product), usage form, indication of the expected risk, and awareness of consumer about the harm and possibility of avoidance of danger. The purpose of this research is to propose the content and types of standardized indication of safety in the industrial product by collecting and analyzing domestic safety information.

In collaborative product development with multiple suppliers, buyers must manage the suppliers' activities. This empirical research investigates the performance impacts of three strategies that buyers use to manage suppliers who design interdependent components. These strategies are: Instructionism (giving clear instructions to suppliers), Teaming (forming an interactive development team with suppliers), and Delegation (transferring component development responsibilities to suppliers). Data were collected through a cross-industry web-based survey of buying firms in manufacturing industries whose products require multiple, interdependent components. A path analysis utilizing 318 survey responses indicates that Instructionism has a positive effect on design quality, and Teaming has a positive effect on design quality and component innovation. The use of Delegation is not related to any of the performance indicators. The practical implication of this research for product development managers is that both Instructionism and Teaming can be effective strategies. For the purpose of assuring design quality, a buyer should give clear instructions in detailed specifications or work closely with suppliers in development teams. If competitive priority is product innovativeness, however, the buyer should work closely with its suppliers during component development processes using a Teaming strategy.
The purpose of this study is to contribute in developing guidebooks that can be used in the courses of needlework study by comparing and analyzing the contents and organizations of needlework-related teaching resources available at the present university and fashion-related educational institutions. This research could help us train technical human resources to be highly adaptable in industrial settings. The results of this study showed that the overall organization of contents is mostly divided into such categories as needlework kits, basic hand sewing, seam finishing, partial needlework and decorative needlework. The study results also indicated that such content organization must be considered in basic needlework/sewing processes and that each content needs to provide more various and detailed information by reflecting recent trends in design. Partial needlework has different applications in terms of interlining attachment, subsidiary materials, or sewing techniques; therefore, consistent descriptions and standard guidelines should be given according to what material is used and which design is planned. This study found that most teaching resources covered only needlework or sewing techniques without giving specific descriptions of types of materials, lining and interlining that can have great influence on sewing methods and instructions on how to use the materials. These findings suggest that the teaching resources need to add further technical instructions for the proper use of materials especially in response to the recent release of brand-new materials and sewing machines in the market.

The purpose of this study was to assess the sustainability of laundry practices among Korean households in comparison with European households. A total of 329 responses were collected through an online survey and analyzed using SPSS. Detergent dosing, use of fabric softener, prewashing, rinsing, washing programs, and washing temperatures of Korean households were not optimal for sustainability. Only 11.2% of respondents followed dosage instructions while the majority based on load size. Use of fabric enhancer, prewashing, and rinsing were frequent. Cotton 40℃ was the most frequently used program (81.5%) while eco and cold wash programs were among the least (1.5%). In terms of laundry sorting, load size, drying, and ironing, more sustainable actions were reported. Laundry was often sorted by color, machines were commonly filled, and clothes tended to be air-dried and not excessively ironed. Gender was the primary socio-demographic factor denoting sustainable habits, with males being more attentive to instructions and care labels than females. European households, however, were more sustainable in all areas except for frequent ironing, and education level and employment status were significant factors affecting sustainable practices.

The use of alginate impression materials today is prevalent because of its efficiency and simplicity in clinical settings. Unfortunately, the simplicity of the procedure tends to lull the dentist into a sense of well-being, and lead him into using careless or sloppy technique. Alginate impression materials are used to fabricate diagnostic and preliminary casts, and the final cast. Incorrect use of this material is known to affect the accuracy of the final prosthesis. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of different mixing methods of alginate impression material and tray adhesive on the accuracy of the stone cast produced by each method. A total of 30 stone casts were produced by using 3 different types of mixing methods (10 stone cast for each mixing method, respectively). The first method utilized an automatic-mixing machine to mix alginate while the second method was carried out manually, strictly following manufacturer's instructions. The third method also involved manual mixing, but did not follow the manufacturer's instructions and was done in a random fashion. Also, 20 additional stone casts were produced by using alginate with or without tray adhesives were included in the study to evaluate effects of tray adhesives on the accuracy of alginate impression. 10 stone casts were produced by adding tray adhesives to the interior surface of the impression tray prior to taking the impression. The other 10 excluded this step. A total of 50 stone casts were analyzed by the three-dimensional measuring machine to measure and compare the dimensional changes of the impression material of each group. The results are as follows. 1. No significant difference was found between the automatic mixing group and the manually-mixing group(p>0.05). 2. For the group that followed manufacturer's instructions, less dimensional changes were record ed than the group that didn't in measuring distanced 4(p<0.05). 3. The group that used tray adhesives showed less dimensional changes(p<0.05). The findings revealed that mechanical methods of mixing alginate impression materials had little influence on dimensional changes. However, it is proven that following manufacturers instructions in alginate impression taking is an important step in acquiring accurate impressions and tray adhesives may play an important role in enhancing the results.
