  • 본 논문에서는 인문계 대학생과 이공계 대학생들의 스마트폰 사용이 어떻게 다른지 그 차이점을 알아보고 자기통제력 척도를 활용하여 자기통제력 정도를 측정하고 자기통제력 정도에 따라 표준화된 스마트폰중독 진단척도를 사용하여 측정한 스마트폰 중독 정도를 두 계열 학생들이 유형을 서로 비교해보고 각각의 전공분야에 맞는 바람직한 스마트폰 활용 방안을 모색해 보고자 한다.

  • In this study, it has been refering that disposal of rapidly international information society and artificial intelligence neural networks of the vanguard software technology. This paper is human brain cell structure modeling in order to neural networks realization for order language and computer embodiment of parallel processing.   • In this paper, the modified Usage Parameter Control(UPC) method based on Dual Leaky Bucket algorithm is proposed to improve the perfor mance of multimedia synchronization and to control burst traffic. In the proposed algorithm, Synchronous cells are by passed to the 2nd stage Leaky Bucket (LB) of the DLB. for overloaded traffic condition, the violated cells are saved in a temporary buffer and they are retransmitted when the 2nd stage bucket is empty.

Effects of Korean Medicine Health Promotion program for Children -Focus on Education and Prevention Programs-

  • Objectives: This study was designed to confirm the effects of the Korean Medicine health promotion program targeting young children. One important aspect of the Korean Medicine health promotion program for children is to bring awareness of health benefits of introducing Korean Medicine methods to young children and to promote incorporating such methods in children's daily activities to develop healthy habits. Methods: The following experiment was conducted for 6 weeks, and the participants were in the age between 2 to 6 years old from 6 child care centers in Wonju and Chungju. 268 participants were in the intervention group, and 277 in the control group. To measure the outcomes of the Children Korean Medicine health program, the intervention group received Korean Medicine prevention programs (children education, parent education, growth exercises, common cold prevention scarf, and pear herb tea), control group did not. This research collected and compared the following data as the children's health indicators to measure the outcomes before and after the program: medical services usage, the number of absences, early leaves, and tardiness to the child care centers due to the participant's health condition. Results: After applying the children's health promotion programs on children between the age of 2-6, there was a decrease in the overall medical services usage, absences, early leaves, and tardiness to the child care center. This health promotion program was purely based on Korean medical theories and Korean Medicine resources without any conventional medical mediation. Conclusions: It can be concluded that a positive change was noted in raising awareness of Korean Medicine through educating both the parents and children. By learning to incorporate Korean Medicine prevention practices to daily habits, not only was there a reduction in the Medical services usage, but the children also became familiar and comfortable with Korean Medicine and its treatment procedures; the overall satisfaction level of the program was also high.

  • In this paper, we propose a new Bit-Rate control algorithm based on bit usage matching to substitute encoded GOP(s) for new GOP(s) in MPEG-2 bitstream. It iteratively encodes current picture according to quantization value of previous picture and records bit-usage of each slice until nearly target bits are used. With target bits falling in two output bits, quantization value of slice should be changed to alleviate output bit error. We use recorded bit-usage information to decide which slices should be encoded with one quantization value and others with another. As every macroblock has different activity, we change macroblock quantization value using slice quantization value and activity value. The simulation results demonstrate that the fluctuation of the output bits can be kept within few-several tens of bits while maintaining the quality of the reconstructed pictures at a relatively stable level.

  • In this paper, we investigate the parameters of the IEEE 802.11e MAC protocol, CWmin and AIFS, in terms of their capability of QoS control. The delay and the bandwidth performances are selected as the QoS medics to examine the characteristics of those parameters. A policy on MAC parameters usage, thereby, is proposed. We regard the MAC-level traffic classification as the differentiation in the channel accessibility, and thus the delay differentiation is referred to a main issue of the class-level QoS control. Realizing the tight relationship between the delay performance and the parameter AIFS, we derive an analytical expression of their relationship through an analysis of the MAC mechanism. Various simulations are examined which show the validity of our assertions, and a policy on the parameters usage is proposed based on those observations.

  • This study was conducted structural model analysis focusing on the factors influencing UHDTV service usage. The perceived quality, innovativeness, price sensitivity are adopted as independent variables and perceived usefulness, perceived easy use are adopted as intervening variables. Especially symbolism used it as a control variable. As a result of the analysis by PLS, the influence coefficient of perceived quality was significantly higher than other variables. However, the combined effect of symbolism and perceived quality has a negative effect on perceived usefulness, and the more the users consider the symbolism of UHDTV usage, the more negative the evaluation of UHD quality and usefulness. With the launch of the terrestrial UHDTV service in May 2017, the most important issue is the production and distribution of high-quality content that users want.

  • Injection molding has been widely used for the mass production of a plastic product. With the development of the relative technique, various injection molding techniques have been developed and we could get more precise plastic product. The temperature of a melting resin is an important factor in the injection molding and this temperature has direct influence on the quality of a plastic product. In the present injection molding machine, the deriation of a temperature controlled by PID control method is within 2$^{\circ}C$ in the injection molding machine but PID control method takes too much time to stabilize after preheating and its overshoot is so big. We applied fuzzy control to alleriate the problem. In this research, we experimented the fuzzy temperature control with the usage of PC based PLC.

Remote Experiments for Control Education

  • This paper suggests remote experiments using the internet for the control education. The remote experiment is composed of equipment server computers, networks accessible to internet, and real plants such as inverted pendulums, crane systems and microcontrollers. Additionally, it requires a server program that has I/O functions with plants and calculate the control, an interface program bridging between web and the server program, and the home page including the detail explanation for the usage. For effective educations, how to perform experiments and how to combine the experiment with lectures will be discussed. The simple experiments by entering a few control parameters and the complex experiments by designing overall controls, will be explained. Technologies related with the remote experiment and other possible remote experiment will be introduced. It is demonstrated that the remote experiment will be very useful, particular for control education where students have difficulties in performing the experiments for lack of experimental equipments.

  • Energy Storage Systems (ESSs) are essential in the future power systems because they can improve power usage efficiency. In this paper, we propose the countermeasure for improving the power quality using coordinated control of BESS(Battery Energy Storage System) on EV connected system. To verify the performance of proposed scheme, we simulate on the actual power system of KEPCO and compare the results of voltage variation, frequency variation, and load factor with those of uncoordinated control. From the simulation results, we confirm that frequency and voltage deviation are significantly reduced with proposed coordinated control of BESS.
