This paper confirms the risk of using smartphone through the analysis of collected usage pattern and proposes the smartphone intervention system in risk situations. In order to check the risk of smartphone usage, we made information collecting application and collected smartphone usage pattern from 11 experiment participants for two months. By analyzing smartphone usage pattern, we confirmed that about 12% of smartphone usage is being used in driving, walking, and on the street. In addition, we analyzed the response rate of smartphone notification in risk situations and confirmed that user responds the smartphone notifications in real-time even in risk situations. Therefore, it is required to present a system that intervenes the use of smartphone in order to protect smartphone users in risk situations. In this paper, we classify risk situations of using smartphone. Also, the proposed smartphone intervention system is designed to periodically detect risk situations. In risk situations, smartphone function can be restricted according to user setting of smartphone. And smartphone can be used normally when safe situation is restored.

This study examines whether English users at a U.S. university apply avoidance strategy in using English articles. All participants had learned English for at least 10 years and had used English for at least 15 years at the time of the data collection, so they made an ideal sample to examine the differences between native speakers of English and non-native speakers of English, in terms of avoidance strategy usage of English articles. To examine whether non-native speakers avoid using a certain feature when unsure of the correct usage, the mean differences of each article usage between NS and NNS groups were calculated and compared. On the basis of results showing that there are no statistically significant differences in terms of article usage between the groups, it is concluded that the highly advanced level participants did not use avoidance strategy in English articles, and that the type of English article and the task type did not affect learners' avoidance strategy usage. This research is expected to provide teachers and researchers with information about highly advanced level L2 language speakers' usage patterns with regards to avoidance strategy.

With the recent changes in society and the introduction of new technologies, the usage patterns of parks have become diverse, leading to increased complexity in park management. As a result, there is a growing demand for flexible and diverse park management that can adapt to these new requirements. However, there is inadequate discussion on these new demands and whether urban park management policies can respond. Therefore, empirical research on how park usage patterns are evolving is critical. To address this, blog data, in which individuals share their experiences, was used to examine the spatial consumption patterns through semantic network and topic analysis. This study also explored whether these spatial consumption patterns exhibit experiential consumption characteristics according to the experience economy theory. The results showed that consumption behaviors, such as renting picnic sets and having food and drinks delivered, were prominent and that emotional experiences were pursued. Furthermore, these findings were consistent with the experiential consumption characteristics of the experience economy theory. This suggests that park planning and maintenance methods need to become more flexible and diverse in response to the changing demands for park usage.

Power efficiency management in smart farms is important due to its link to climate change. As climate change negatively impacts agriculture, future agriculture is expected to utilize smart farms to minimize climate impacts, but smart farms' power consumption may exacerbate the climate crisis due to the current electricity production system. Therefore, it is essential to efficiently manage and optimize the power usage of smart farms. In this study, we propose a system that monitors the power usage of smart farm equipment in real time and predicts the power usage one hour later using GRU. CT sensors are installed to collect power usage data, which are analyzed to detect and prevent abnormal patterns, and combined with IoT technology to efficiently manage and monitor the overall power usage. This helps to optimize power usage, improve energy efficiency, and reduce carbon emissions. The system is expected to improve not only the energy management of smart farms, but also the overall efficiency of energy use.

In this study, monthly water use data were collected for 5 years from the 65 local governments included in the Han-river basin and a typical water usage ratios and patterns were calculated. The difference in water shortage was compared by considering the water usage patterns using the water balance and budget analysis model (MODSIM) and data base. As a result, it was confirmed that the change occurred in the range of -3.120% to +4.322% compared to the monthly constant ratio by period. In addition, when applying the patterns in the water balance model, 17 of the 28 middle watershed showed changes in the quantity of water shortage and the domestic and industrial water shortage would decrease about 8.0% during the maximum drought period. If it is applied in conjunction with predictive research on water usage patterns reflecting climate change, social and regional characteristics in the future, it will be possible to establish a more realistic water supply forecasts and a reliable national water resources plan.

The world's major cities operate public rental bicycle systems to complement the existing problems of public transport in the city. Disclosing the rental history data in Daejeon has opened new analytical possibilities. In this paper, we proposed a method to analyze the data using the visualization. We found a positional feature of the station according to the bicycle usage. In addition, we examined the bicycle usage patterns according to the time/day/month. On the other hand, the usage patterns between each of the bicycle stations were identified through a path analysis. The specific objectives were identified through each stop destination ratio analysis. Based on these data, we suggest a direction of Daejeon public bicycle rental system development.

There are lots of medicine information on the internet recently. But there is no specific research result about search patterns or acquisition methods of medicine information on web pages for lay people until now. In this paper, 1 analyzed the web log files of a certain company providing medicine information using the WiseLog tool. I analyzed three kinds of statistic result of the web log files such as the status of web page usage by types of users, the status of web page menu usage, and the status of search menu usage. As results, I proposed methods of supplement and improvement for companies providing medicine information on the internet.

The emergence of social network services, is changing the foundation of human relationship formation and method of communication of individuals through sharing of free information. Social network service is a service to support or facilitate an on-line extension of off-line network among people by helping them to share personal profile. History of social network services very short. But users of the various layers is increasing rapidly and ripple effect social as a result is very large. The focus of existing research was mainly devoted to motivation of use and acceptance of social network services. Currently the use of SNS was maturing. Thus, in-depth research on the use pattern of SNS users is needed. The purpose of this study is that, for Facebook in social network services, to analyze the changes in the initial stage of use, medium-term, usage patterns at the current time. Results of the study by analyzing the characteristics of the change in the pattern of usage of user of Facebook, it can be used as basic materials for SNS researchers and service provider.

In recent years, in accordance with the rapidly increasing number of smartphone users, various social problems have started to occur. Examples of these problems are the overuse of smartphones and bad usage habits of smartphone users that can cause new social problems such as smartphone addiction and other smartphone related diseases. With the aim of preventing these social problems, this paper proposes a new smartphone addiction and disease prevention system. This system was developed by collecting and analyzing smartphone usage patterns. This proposed system analyzes the usage patterns and working hours of smartphone users in real time. If the detected smartphone usage patterns reach a dangerous level, the system will send warning messages to the user. This will enable users to recognize the unhealthy situation in advance by themselves. In addition, this solution could possibly prevent smartphone addiction and other smartphone related illness by preventing overuse and encouraging abstinence from using smartphones to the extent that it becomes harmful to the user.

There has been increasing attention paid to the influence of fascimile type of technologies on transportation costs. This attention is noticeable in large business companies, as fascimile become widely available in Korea. The importance of the fascimile usage is that it might effectively substitute for transportation, thereby reducing transportation costs. This paper presents an analysis of cost saving resulting from fascimile usage for substitutable trips. Data were collected from business companies on various aspects of the fascimile usage patterns, with particular emphasis on usage behavior substitutable for trips. Although by no means comprehensive, the analysis revealed that significant benefits can be derived from the usage of fascimile for substitutable trips in business settings. The results of benefit estimation show that net benefits turn out to be 7,608 won and 5,055 won per one usage for large and small companies respectively. If traffic congestion were to be considered, total social benefits would be higher.
