Cloud provides dynamically scalable virtualized computing resources as a service over the Internet. To achieve higher resource utilization over virtualization technology, an optimized strategy that deploys virtual machines on physical machines is needed. That is, the total number of active physical host nodes should be dynamically changed to correspond to their resource usage rate, thereby maintaining optimum utilization of physical machines. In this paper, we propose a pattern-based prediction model for resource provisioning which facilitates best possible resource preparation by analyzing the resource utilization and deriving resource usage patterns. The focus of our work is on predicting future resource requests by optimized dynamic resource management strategy that is applied to a virtualized data center in a Cloud computing environment. To this end, we build a prediction model that is based on user request patterns and make a prediction of system behavior for the near future. As a result, this model can save time for predicting the needed resource amount and reduce the possibility of resource overuse. In addition, we studied the performance of our proposed model comparing with conventional resource provisioning models under various Cloud execution conditions. The experimental results showed that our pattern-based prediction model gives significant benefits over conventional models.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of sociodemographic characteristics on usage patterns of oral hygiene supplies of patients visiting a dental clinic. Methods : A questionnaire survey was administered to 592 patients visiting a dental clinic based in Daegu from December 2, 2013 through December 31, 2013. Statistical analysis was done with IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0. Results : For awareness of oral toothbrushes, electric toothbrushs had the highest ratio(67.6%), and for awareness of auxiliary oral hygiene devices, dental floss had the highest ratio (77.7%). For toothbrushes used, interdental brushes had the highest user ratio(34.3%), and for using auxiliary oral hygiene devices, dental floss had the highest ratio(37.7%). Age had an influence on the awareness of oral hygiene devices. Gender and Age had influence on the use of oral hygiene devices. Of the total respondents, 34.6% citied "do not need to do that" as the reason for not using oral hygiene supplies, followed by "do not know" (34%) and "it is tiresome" (30.4%). Conclusions : To effectively improve oral health status, a good motivation method necessary to promote the use of oral hygiene supplies.

This study investigated the relationships among proper types of e-commerce, patterns of inter-organizational information flow (IIF), benefits of e-commerce, and supply-chain performance. In IIF, it was empirically observed that environmental competition positively influences the frequency of IIF, and environmental uncertainty has a positive impact on the quality of IIF. It was also empirically confirmed that only quality of IIF has effects on the usage levels of e-procurement as well as e-partnerships. Through regression analyses and cluster analysis, it was found that under high degrees of the frequency and quality of IIF, the benefits of e-commerce are vastly realized in the firms that highly utilize e-partnerships. The results of this study also showed that when the degrees of quality of IIF are high, the levels of benefits of e-commerce are increased in the firms that employ e-procurement. The moderating effects of buyer and supplier firms' abilities on the relationships between patterns of IIF and usage levels in various types of e-commerce were empirically examined. According to the results, the moderating roles of buyer firms' capabilities and suppliers' abilities were partially demonstrated. Finally, it was found that the realization of benefits of e-commerce can lead to the improvement of supply-chain performance.

대출기록은 공공도서관에 축적되는 다양한 이용데이터로 이용 행태 분석을 통해 도서관서비스 개선에 적극 반영할 수 있다. 본 연구는 강서 양천지역 공공도서관 2개관의 대출기록 754,198건을 대상으로 대출이용자 및 대출 횟수, 대출자료, 대출시간 및 대출요일 분석을 실시하였다. 분석을 통해 두 도서관의 주된 이용자 계층, 도서관 방문 횟수, 주로 이용되는 자료의 주제, 주로 이용되는 시간을 확인할 수 있었고, 근접하였지만 환경이 서로 다른 두 도서관의 유사한 이용행태를 밝혀냄으로써 대출기록의 활용방안을 제시하였다.

In a hot water system using solar energy, solar heat is not simply collected by the heat collecting plate, but by heat exchange between the solar collector (flat or vacuum type) and the hot water storage tank. Therefore, the amount of collected solar energy depends on the hot water usage patterns that determine the temperature of the thermal storage tank. Also, if the temperature of the hot water stored in the storage tank exceeds the dangerous temperature during the summer, the heat must be released for safety. If the temperature of the hot water in the storage tank is low, it is necessary to heat by the auxiliary heat source. In this study, three buildings are defined as hotel, swimming pool, and school facilities. And we calculated the released heat energy, auxiliary heat source, and pure storage heat energy based on different hot water usage patterns and installation angle of the solar collectors.

This paper aims to examine distribution and patterns of Women(我們) on Chinese conversation textbook, and also suggest that Chinese class need to impose pragmatic perspective. For this purpose, this paper explores 35 Womens in 42 conversation units on three Chinese textbooks Hanyu Kouyu vol.1~3 at first. Women is more contributed on 'exclusive Women' among three categories (inclusive, exclusive, borrowed) than other two categories, is also contributed on 'symbolic usage' than 'gestural usage'. Second, this paper examines patterns of Women on the three categories. It shows: first, 'inclusive Women', 'exclusive Women', 'borrowed Women' all show up on the textbooks even though on the textbook vol.1(for beginner) surprisingly; Second, 'exclusive Women' may be a primary one of three categories in terms of the coverage of Women. Women covers those who are related with the speaker regardless of being on the spot, and also covers those which the speaker belongs to, for example, nationality, ethnicity etc. Consequently, the results show that Chinese speaking course, from now on, needs to consider pragmatic factors including existing semantic and syntactic factors, and from the pragmatic perspective, impose 'action'(including speech act, body gesture etc.) on Chinese conversation class for the learners' improvement in Chinese speaking.

This study was performed to investigate the pattern of health food usage of the adults by food lifestyles pattern in contemporary Seoul. This study views health food consumption as a cultural practice in which people produce (and reproduce) diverse social relationships and cultural meanings. It also identifies food lifestyles and health food usage pattern of Korean adult in Seoul. This topics were discussed based on field research data collected by nutritional survey with questionnaire. To identify the relationships between pattern of health food and food lifestyles, 503 men and 437 women aged 18 to 65 years were divided into 5 groups of food lifestyles : Health Eaters, In-a-Dither, Traditional Eaters, Conscientious and People on the Go. As a substantial percentage of the subjects were used some kinds of nutrients supplement. The higher the age and family income were, the higher the percentage of health food usage was. There was the significant difference between sexes in usuage of health food. Health food usage was higher in the food lifestyle pattern of Health Eater than other food lifestyles.

본 연구는 적소 이론(Niche Theory)을 기반으로 뷰티 콘텐츠 소비를 통한 이용 충족 측면에서 웹진, TV 및 인터넷 동영상 플랫폼이 어떤 경쟁 구도를 형성하는 지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 선행 연구들을 기반으로 정보성, 오락성, 매력적인 인물 등장, 이용 편리성 및 솔직함 등 5가지의 공통적인 이용 충족 요인들을 도출하였고, 이를 바탕으로 적소분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 인터넷 동영상 플랫폼이 매력적인 인물 등장 측면을 제외한 모든 이용 충족 차원에서 적소폭이 다른 미디어들에 비해 넓은 것으로 나타났으며, TV와 인터넷 동영상 플랫폼이 적소 중복이 가장 적은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 인터넷 동영상 플랫폼은 다른 미디어들에 비해 이용 편리성과 솔직함에서 경쟁 우위에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과들은 향후 뷰티 콘텐츠 소비가 어떤 방향으로 전개될 지를 예측하기 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

이 논문은 한국어 교육에서 문형 전자 사전을 바탕으로 하는 자동문형 검사기를 설계하기 위해 문형의 출현 빈도와 사용 빈도 조사를 목적으로 하였다. 먼저 한국어 교육에서의 문형의 개념을 정의하고 그 유형을 구문 문형과 표현 문형으로 나누어 분류하였다. 서술어 중심의 구문 문형과 의존명사, 어미, 조사가 중심인 표현 문형이 학습자 코퍼스에서 어떻게 나타나는지 분석하였다. 학습자 코퍼스는 학습자들이 꼭 배워야 하는 것으로 표준 코퍼스와 학습자들의 생산물인 오류 코퍼스로 나누어 구축하였다. 한국어 교재로 구성된 표준 코퍼스에서의 문형 출현 빈도와 학습자들이 직접 작성한 글을 모은 오류 코퍼스에서 어떻게 문형이 사용되고 있는지 사용 빈도를 조사하였다. 학습자들의 문형 사용 빈도순은 문형 전자 사전에 기술되고, 이것은 문형 검색 속도를 최적화할 것이다.

The aim of this interdisciplinary study is to understand the relationship between the social behavior patterns and space elements, specially micro-housing sociological point of view. It analyzed korean typical floorplans in the apartment housing, focused on the 4-criteria contact or isolation between the individual persons, communication between the generations, hierarchy of the gender and socialization with neighbourhood. It determinate concrete space elements involved correspondent factors with users' social behavior. By reviewing those factors found, it is suggested also the planning concept, that response users' social orientation. As the practical alternatives, some prototypes have been developed not only for improvement of housing plans, but also for resonable housing supply and sustainable usage.
