시설재배지(施設栽培地)에서 축분퇴비(畜糞堆肥) 시용시(施用時) 보충비종(補充費種)에 따른 토양배출(土壤排出)가스 및 미생물다양성(微生物多樣性)의 변화(變化) (Changes of Soil-Emission Gases and Microbial Diversity by Different Fertilizers Supplemented after Application of Livestock-Manure Compost in Greenhouse Soil)

  • 축분퇴비의 시용시 보충하는 비종에 따른 하우스 내부의 가스 발생양상과 미생물의 다양성을 구명하여 가스피해 정감 및 토양건전성 유지를 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 식양질 하우스토양에 축분퇴비의 시용량을 고추의 기준시비량과 퇴비에 함유된 인산함량을 기준하여 정식 2주전에 시용하고 부족한 질소성분을 요소와 완효성U/F복비로 보충처리하여 4월부터 8일 까지 재배하였다. 암모니아 및 아민류 가스는 정식초기에는 다소 낮은 농도로 배출되다가 정식 후 27일경에 peak를 보인 후 급격히 감소하여 33일경 이후에는 검출되지 않았으며, 평균농도는 요소구에 비하여 완효성U/F복비구가 암모니아 42%, 아민류 85%감소되었다. 이산화탄소는 요소구 1,200~3,200, 완효성U/F복비구 $900{\sim}2,650mg\;{\ell}^-$의 범위로 배출되었고, 평균농도는 요소구 2,260, 완효성U/F복비구 $1,590mg\;{\ell}^-$이었다. 세균, 방선균, B/F비, A/F비, 암모니아 및 아질산산화세균, 질산환원균 등의 밀도는 재배기간이 경과됨에 따라 완효성U/F복비구에서 더 높았으나 사상균 수는 요소구에서 많았고 탈질균은 비슷한 경향을 보였다. 조사한 6종 미생물 밀도의 백분율을 이용한 다양성지수는 0.10~0.35 범위로 재배기간이 경과함에 따라 감소하는 경향이었으며, 처리간에는 완효성U/F복비구가 요소구에 비하여 더 높았다.

N Use Efficiency and Nitrate Leaching by Fertilization Level and Film Mulching in Sesame Cultivated Upland

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of slow release fertilizers (SRF), crotonylidene diurea (CDU) and latex coated urea (LCU), on nitrogen (N) use efficiency (NUE) and nitrate-N leaching in a silty clay loam soil under polyethylene film mulching (PFM) for sesame cultivation. In PFM plot, concentrations of $NO_3-N$ and $NH_4-N$ in SRF applied soils were less than that in the urea plot during the whole growing period. However, $NO_3-N$ and $NH_4-N$ in all the non-mulched plots (NM) were not significantly different. Urea-N in soil treated with SRF was higher than urea plot until 50 days after application and was comparable in all the treatments after 50 days. $NO_3-N$ concentrations in leached solution in 21 days after urea fertilization in PFM and NM were 26 mg $L^{-1}$ and 83 mg $L^{-1}$, respectively. However, $NO_3-N$ in leached solution at applied CDU and LCU was less than that of urea similar to nitrate concentration in soil. $NO_3-N$ in leached solution in applied CDU and LCU in 44 days after application was about 25% lower than that urea plot and PFM, while the $NO_3-N$ concentration of CDU and LCU treatment in NM did not changed. Application of SRF increased the yield of sesame and N recovery compared to urea and there was a little difference between SRF and N levels. In conclusion, application of 80% N level with SRF increased N recovery and reduced nitrate leaching without reduction of yields compared with urea application.

피복요소복합비료(被覆尿素複合肥料)의 시용방법(施用方法)이 벼 생육(生育)과 미질(米質)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Influence of Coated Urea Complex Fertilizer Application on Growth and Grain Quality of Paddy Rice)

  • 피복요소복합비료(被覆尿素複合肥料) 시용과 벼 생육(生育) 및 미질(米質)과의 관련성을 밝히기 위하여 벼 측조시비용인 피복요소복합비료(18-12-13)를 공시하여, 피복요소복합비료 전량처리구(CUC I)와 피복요소복합비료 50%와 속효성비료 50% 혼합처리구 (CUC II)로 식양토(埴壤土)(덕평통(德坪統))와 사양토(砂壤土)(강서통(江西統))에서 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 벼 잎색도(色度)는 전층(全層)시비와 측조(側條)시비 모두 토성(土性)에 관계 없이 벼 생육후기(生育後期)에는 피복요소복합비료시용구에서 높았다. 2. 질소흡수량(窒素吸收量)은 관행에 비하여 피복요소복합비료 시용구에서 많았고, 피복요소복합비료 II시용구보다 피복요소복합비료 I시용구에서 많았다. 3. 수확지수(收穫指數)는 피복요소복합비료 시용구에서 낮았고, 속효성 비료 혼합시용에 의해 그 정도를 줄일 수 있었다. 4. 피복요소복합비료시용은 완전미율(完全米率)이 감소(減少)되었고, 불완전미중(不完全米中)의 동할미율(胴割米率)이 현저히 증가되었으며, 미립중(米粒中)의 Hon치(値)(Mg/K.N)는 감소된 반면, 단백질(蛋白質), amylose 함량은 증가 되었다. 5. 취반특성(炊飯特性)인 호응집성(糊凝集性)(gel consistency)과 알칼리 붕괴도(崩壞度)(asv)는 피복요소복합비료시용에 의해 각각 길어지고, 낮아졌다. 6. 이상의 결과에서 미질(米質)은 피복요소복합비료 시용에 의해 나빠지는 경향이었고, 속효성비료(速效性肥料) 혼합(混合)시용에 의해 어느 정도 방지(防止)할 수 있었다.

  • 농약(農藥)이 토양환경중(土壤環境中)의 생화학적(生化學的)인 변화과정중(變化過程中) 효소활성(酵素活性)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 구명(究明)하기 위하여 토양내(土壤內)에 요소시비(尿素施肥)의 유무(有無)에 따라 유황(硫黃)이 함유(含有)된 살균제(殺菌劑), 살충제(殺蟲劑), 제초제(除草劑)를 처리(處理)하였을 때 토양내(土壤內)의 arylsulfatase의 활성(活性)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 요소(尿素)를 첨가(添加)하지 않은 토양(土壤)과 첨가(添加)한 토양(土壤) 모두 배양(培養) 7일(日)째 arylsulfatase의 활성(活性)이 가장 높았고 배양기간(培養期間)이 경과함에 따라 점차(漸次) 낮아져 배양(培養) 42일(日)째는 처음 수준(水準)으로 되었으며 요소(尿素)를 첨가(添加)한 토양(土壤)에서는 요소(尿素)를 첨가(添加)하지 않은 토양(土壤)보다 전반적(全般的)으로 다소 높은 효소활성(酵素活性)을 나타내었다. 살균제(殺菌劑)인 captan, edifenphos, 살충제(殺蟲劑)인 acephate, 제초제(除草劑)인 asulam, bentazone 처리구(處理區)에서는 배양(培養) 7일(日)째 arylsulfatase의 활성(活性)이 가장 높았으나 배양초기(培養初期)부터 배양(培養) 42일(日)까지 전반적(全般的)으로 효소활성(酵素活性)을 저해(沮害)하는 경향(傾向)을 나타내었으며 요소(尿素)를 첨가(添加)한 토양(土壤)에서도 같은 경향(傾向)을 보였다. 살충제(殺蟲劑) EPN을 처리(處理)하였을때는 요소(尿素)를 첨가(添加)한 토양(土壤)이나 첨가(添加)하지 않은 토양(土壤) 모두 배양초기(培養初期)에는 활성(活性)이 저해(沮害)되었으나 배양후기(培養後期)에는 오히려 활성(活性)이 촉진(促進)되었다.

Effect of Feeding Urea and Acetic Acid Treated Wheat Straw on the Digestibility of Nutrients in Adult Male Murrah Buffaloes (Bubalus bubalis)

  • Wheat straw was treated on laboratory scale with 4% urea at a moisture level of 50% along with different amounts of acetic acid (AA) to fix various levels of ammonia nitrogen (15, 30, 45 and 60%) evolved from urea and stored for 4 weeks. Chemical composition of the treated samples revealed a significant (p<0.01) increase in N content of the samples where AA was added. The N content of the ammoniated straw was only 1.21% which increased to 2.58 with the addition of AA to trap 30% $NH_3-N$. The concentration of free $NH_3-N$ in the straw was significantly (p<0.01) less when more than 15% $NH_3-N$ was trapped with AA. There was significant increase (p<0.01) in N disappearance and depression in NDF and hemicellulose disappearance, when AA was used to trap 30% $NH_3-N$. Large scale treatment of wheat straw with 4% urea at a moisture level of 50% along with AA (to trap 30% $NH_3-N$) increased the N content, but not as much as in laboratory scale treatment. In vivo experiment conducted on nine adult male buffaloes divided into three groups revealed no difference in the intake of DM, OM, NDF, ADF, cellulose and hemicellulose among group I (ammoniated straw), group II (AA treated ammoniated straw) and group III (AA treated ammoniated straw +1 kg barley grain), but the intake was significantly (p<0.05) more in groups where AA treated straw was fed as compared to only ammoniated straw fed group. However EE digestibility was depressed in group II. The digestibility of cellulose and hemicellulose both depressed significantly (p<0.05) in group II and III as compared to group I. Animals in all the 3 groups showed positive nitrogen balance and it was significantly more in group II and III as compared to group I. DCP intake was significantly (p<0.05) more in group II and III as compared to group I, but there was no significant difference among the three groups in TDN intake. It can be concluded that AA (to trap 30% $NH_3-N$) is effective in capturing the excess ammonia released during urea ammoniation of straw and improving its nutritive value, as well as animal performance.

Protective Role of Selenium and High Dose Vitamin E against Cisplatin - Induced Nephrotoxicty in Rats

  • Background: Cisplatin (CDDP) is one of the most active cytotoxic agents in the treatment of cancer. We investigated the effect of selenium (Se) with high dose vitamin E (VE) administration to prevent CDDP-induced nephrotoxicity in rats. Materials and Methods: In this study, 40 female Wistar rats were randomly divided into five equal groups. The first group, which served as the control, was administered physiological saline (2.5 cc/day, 5 days) intraperitoneally (IP), while group A was administered cisplatin (6 mg/kg BW/ single dose) plus physiological saline IP. Groups B, C, D received IP five doses of Se (1.5 mg/kg BW), and a high dose of VE (1000 mg/kg BW) (Se-VE) in combination before, simultaneously, and after CDDP, respectively. The rats were sacrificed five days after CDDP administration. Plasma malondialdehide (MDA), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), reduced glutathione (GSH), catalase, urea, creatinine levels, renal histopathological changes were measured. Results: The histopathological injury score, plasma levels of MDA, urea, creatinine were found to increase in group A compared to the control (p<0.05), while plasma levels of GSH-Px, GSH and catalase decreased (p<0.05). In contrast, plasma levels of MDA decreased (p<0.05) in groups B, C, D, which were treated with Se- VE, whereas levels of GSH-Px, GSH were found to increase only for group D (p<0.05). Plasma urea, creatinine levels improved in the treatment groups compared to group A (p<0.001). Histopathological changes caused by CDDP were also significantly improved after Se-VE treatment (p<0.05). Conclusions: Oxidative stress increases with CDDP-induced nephrotoxicity in rats. Se-VE supplementation might thus play a role in the prevention of CDDP-induced nephrotoxicity in patients.

PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF GRASS SILAGE WITH WHOLE-CROP CEREAL SILAGE FOR GROWING BEEF CATTLE

  • A study was conducted to investigate the effect of different inclusion levels of urea treated whole-crop wheat silage (UWCWS) in grass silage based rations on the performance of growing beef cattle. The winter wheat (variety, Riband) was harvested (in the summer of 1991) at a dry matter proportion of 520 g/kg and treated with feed grade urea at the rate of 37 kg/tonne crop dry matter and preserved in a heavy duty plastic bag using a silo press. The urea treated whole crop wheat silage (UWCWS) was mixed with grass silage to replace 0.00 (S100), 0.33 (S33) and 0.67 (S67) parts of the forage dry matter and fed ad libitum in a cross over design to 18 Simmental X Holstein Friesian growing beef animals. Two energy sources {one high in starch, rolled barley (RB) and one high in digestible fibre, sugar beet pulp (SBP)} were fed to supply sufficient energy for the efficient use of nitrogen by the rumen micro-organisms. The data on DMIF (dry matter intake of forage), TDMI (total dry matter intake), DLWG (daily live weight gain), FCR (feed conversion ratio) were recorded and faecal samples were collected to determine the digestibility coefficients. Results revealed that with the inclusion of UWCW in the animals' diets the DMI of the forage was significantly increased (p < 0.05). The highest DMIF was found in the treatment "S33" ($6.28{\pm}0.25kg$) where 67% of the silage dry matter was replaced with the UWCW and the lowest value for DMIF was observed in the control treatment ($5.03{\pm}0.23kg$). The DLWG did not differ significantly between the treatments. However, treatment "S100" showed a trend towards a superior DLWG. Feed conversion ratio in the control treatment differed significantly from "S67" and "S33". The addition of the UWCW in the animals' diet resulted in the lower FCR There was no effect of type of energy supplement on any aspect of performance either overall or in interaction with grass silage: UWCWS ratio. The regression and correlation coefficients for DMIF (r = 5.22 + 0.0184x*), DLWG (r = $1.04-0.00086x^{NS}$) and FCR (r = 4.78 = 0.022x*) on the inclusion of UWCW in the diet were calculated. The effect of the inclusion of UWCW on the overall digestibility coefficients was significant (p < 0.05). The addition of the UWCWS in the diet decreased the digestibility of the DM, OM, ADF and NFE but effect on the protein digestibility was non significant. The results of present study suggests that a DLWG slightly over 1 kg can be achieved with UWCW during the store period (period in which animal performance targets are low especially during winter) and the prediction of ME was overestimated as the high intake of DM did not reflect in improved animal performance.

세물차의 수량 및 품질에 미치는 완효성비료 시비효과 (Effect of Slow-Release Fertilizer on Yield and Quality of Third-Harvest Tea Leaves)

  • 세물차의 수량은 관행시비구의 $313kg\;10a^{-1}$에 비해 완효성비료 N $50kg\;10a^{-1}$구의 $316kg\;10a^{-1}$를 제외한 다른 완효성 비료 시비구에서는 5.8-14.4% 감수하였다. 질소 흡수율과 이용율은 질소 시비량이 증가 할수록 감소하는 경향이었다. 관행시비에 비해 N $50kg\;10a^{-1}$ 처리를 제외한 나머지 완효성비료 처리구에서는 총질소, 총아미노산, 엽록소 및 감칠맛의 주성분인 theanine 함량이 적었고, tannin, caffeine, 비타민 C 함량에서는 차이가 없었다. 형상, 향, 맛 등 제다 품질은 N $40kg\;10a^{-1}$을 제외한 나머지 완효성시비구와 관행시비구 간에 큰 차이를 볼 수 없었다. 결론적으로 수량 및 품질에서 관행시비나 완효성비료시비 상호간에 큰 차이를 볼 수 없었지만, 완효성비료 N $50kg\;10a^{-1}$구에서 기타 처리보다 약간 양호한 경향이었다.

몽골 반건조지에서 질소 시비가 백양나무와 비술나무 묘목의 생장 및 토양 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Nitrogen Fertilization on Growth of Populus sibirica and Ulmus pumila Seedlings and Soil Properties in a Semi-Arid Area, Mongolia)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of different levels and types of nitrogen fertilizer on seedlings and soil chemical properties in a semi-arid area, Mongolia. 2-year-old Populus sibirica and 4-year-old Ulmus pumila seedlings were planted in May 2014. Six treatments with three levels of nitrogen (low-level: urea $5g\;tree^{-1}$; medium-level: urea $15g\;tree^{-1}$, ammonium sulfate $33g\;tree^{-1}$, urea $15g\;tree^{-1}$ with potassium phosphate $10g\;tree^{-1}$; high-level: urea $30g\;tree^{-1}$) were applied and for the medium-level of nitrogen, different types of fertilizer were treated. Survival rate, root collar diameter (RCD) growth rate, leaf nitrogen concentration of seedlings, and soil chemical properties were determined in August 2014. The seedling survival rate of both species decreased as the level of nitrogen increased. This result can be explained by water stress caused by nitrogen fertilization in arid regions. The RCD growth rate of P. sibirica was significantly decreased by the treatment of high-level of nitrogen due to excessive nitrogen fertilization, and was increased by the treatment of ammonium sulfate due to sulfur which might promote nitrogen uptake. The leaf nitrogen concentration of P. sibirica did not change by the treatment of low-level of nitrogen, and was increased by the treatment of medium-level of nitrogen. There were no significant differences in the RCD growth rate and the leaf nitrogen concentration of U. pumila among the six treatments. None of soil chemical properties was affected by nitrogen fertilization. Overall, the low-level of nitrogen showed no effect on seedlings and soil chemical properties, except on survival rate of U. pumila and the high-level of nitrogen was considered excessive fertilization. Continuous monitoring of medium-level nitrogen fertilization including the ammonium sulfate, which increased early growth of seedlings, would be needed to elucidate the effect of fertilization on seedling growth and soil properties in a semi-arid region.

요소수지접착합판(尿素樹脂接着合板)의 유리(遊離)포름알데히드 방산(放散)제거 및 조절방법에 대한 비교연구(比較硏究) (Comparative Study on the Control and Removal of Formaldehyde for the Urea-formaldehyde Resin Bonded Plywood -Adhesive control-)

  • 요소수지(尿素樹脂)를 접착제(接着劑)로 사용(使用)한 수질품종중(水質製品中) 합판(合板)은 건축내장(建築內裝) 및 가구(家具), 후래쉬도아, 마루판등(等) 광범하고 다양한 용도로 주거환경(住居環境)에 사용(使用)되고 있다. 그런데 이러한 합판중(合板中) 요소수지접착층(尿素樹脂接着層)으로부터 유리(遊離) 또는 분해(分解)되어 방출(方出)되는 포름알데히드는 유독(有毒)한 화학약제로서 극소량의 농축으로도 불쾌감, 두통(頭痛) 및 인체(人體)에 위험을 실제로 초래하고 있다. 따라서 이러한 유리포름알데히드를 제거 또는 조절하여 소위 "포름알데히드 문제"를 해결(解決)하는 처리방법(處理方法)에 목표를 두고 탈(脫)포름알데히드효과(效果) 및 합판(合板)의 재질(材質)에 미치는 효과(效果)를 상호 비교(比較)하고 그 개선점(改善點)을 밝히고자 하였다. 개량(改良)크로모토로픽산(酸) 방법(方法)으로 유리포름알데히드를 정량(定量)하였으며 주로 접착제제조(接着劑製造) 및 혼합(混合)에 중점을 두고 제거제(除去劑)를 첨가할 때의 효과(效果)를 비교(比較)하였으며 도포방법(塗布方法)은 요소처리(尿素處理)에 한(限)하였다. 결과(結果)는 다음과 같이 요약(要約)할 수 있다. 1. 요소용액(尿素溶液)침지처리와 경화제처리(硬化劑處理)가 가장 좋은 유리포름알데히드방산제거효과(放散除去效果)를 가져 왔으며, 리조시놀 4%, 알부민처리(處理)도 좋은 결과(結果)를 가져왔고 수피분증량처리도 그 가능성이 있음을 볼 수 있다. 2. 합판접착강도(合板接着强度)는 상태접착강도(常態接着强度)에서 모든 처리(處理)가 전부 규격에 합격(合格)하여 특히 리조시놀 2%와 요소용액침적처리(尿素溶液沈積處理)가 월등히 높았고, 2류합판(類合板)온수시험에 의(依)한 접착강도(接着强度)는 경화제처리(硬化劑處理)로만 불합격(不合格)이고 리조시놀 2%가 대비합판(對比合板)에 비(比)하여 좋은 강도(强度)를 보였고 수피(樹皮), 요소처리(尿素處理)가 대비(對比) 합판(合板)보다 강도(强度)가 높았다. 3. 처리합판(處理合板)의 기건함수율(氣乾含水率)은 11~13% 사이로 모두 규격(規格)을 만족시켰다. 4. 리조시놀, 알부민과 요소용액침적처리(尿素溶液沈積處理)의 혼합효과(混合效果)는 계속 연구(硏究)하면 더 좋은 결과(結果)를 획득하리라 사료된다.
