도시철도 차량 내구연한 연장을 위한 정밀진단 사례 연구 (The case study on precise diagnosis for extending durability period of urban railroad cars)

  • 2009년 3월 19일 도시철도차량의 내구연한 관련 법령이 개정되면서 도시철도차량이 최장 40년까지 사용 가능하게 되었다. 이는 차량제작 기술의 발전과 더불어 소재와 부품의 품질 향상으로 내구성이 우수해졌고 체계적인 관리와 노후 부품의 교체 등으로 도시철도 차량의 수명이 길어졌기 때문이라고 판단된다. 도시철도 차량의 안전은 승객의 안전과 직접적인 관계가 있으므로 안전성을 최우선적으로 고려하여야 하며 내구연한 연장을 위해서는 더욱 정밀한 안전 검정이 필요하다. 이에 내구연한이 도래한 전동차는 개정된 "도시철도차량의 정밀진단지침"에 따라 정밀진단을 실시하여야 한다. 본 연구는 내구연한 연장 관련 법령 개정 이후 최초로 정밀진단을 시행하고 있는 부산교통공사의 사례를 통해 정밀진단 시행기관과 도시철도 운영기관에 정밀진단에 대한 진단기법의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • The ATO(Automatic Train Operation System) system is equipment for automatic and driverless operation of electric train with minimum control of operator. In this paper, we made ATO system with national technic and passed type test. We are convinced of reliability and safety of the ATO system on the seoul metro 7 line.

  • 도시철도는 시민을 빠르고 안전하게 수송하는 대중교통의 중심축이다. 도시철도차량의 유지보수는 고장 방지를 위한 예방정비의 개념이며 정해진 규정과 정비지침에 따라 시행되어야 한다. 신뢰성 있는 검수설비는 유지보수의 정확성과 전동차 운행의 정시성을 보장할 수 있다. 부산도시철도 전동차 검수용 검수설비를 자체 기술로 개발하여 활용한 사례 연구를 통해 유지보수 과학화와 전동차 안전운행 및 업무 효율 향상 방법을 고찰하고자 한다.

  • Increasing peak load is one of the major concerns about operation of urban railroad systems. Since ESSs (Energy Storage Systems) have a great potential for shaving the peak load, there has been a growing interest in the use of ESS for peak load reduction. Also, ESS can be optimally scheduled to minimize the electricity purchasing cost under a given ToU (Time-of-Use) tariff by taking advantage of electricity price difference between peak and off-peak time. This paper presents a Mixed Integer Programming (MIP)-based ESS scheduling method to minimize the electricity purchasing cost under a ToU tariff for an urban railroad system.

  • This paper evaluates economic benefits of ESS (Energy Storage System) for peak load shaving in the substation of urban railway. For this purpose, the method to determine capacities of ESS and PCS (Power Conditioning System) for peak load shaving is proposed. Then the economic benefits of those devices are evaluated using net present value method. The proposed methods are applied to actual measurements of loads in the substation of urban railway. The results show that electric power costs can be reduced and the economic benefits of ESS for peak load shaving mainly depends on the price of battery.

  • ProfiBus provides real-time data communication among field devices in the EMU(Electrical Multiple Unit) and TCMS(Train Control Monitoring System). This paper presents an adapt to Train Communication Network for EMU using ProfiBus DP(Decentralized Periphery) method, which is the layer 2 DDLM (Direct Data Link Mapper) protocol of ProfiBus.

  • The train control and monitoring system(TCMS) is an on board computer system in railway vehicles performing the control, supervisory and diagnostic functions of the complete train. This system replaces a lot of hardwired relays and minimizes the necessaries vehicle wiring thus increasing the reliability of the train. In this paper, we proposed a software design technique of TCMS using CASE tool (SAO+). The TCMS functions are implemented in software easily programmed, using a functional block, graphic programming language. We applied the compressor air module to a case study.

  • In this paper, we present a deterioration judgment model of urban rail power equipment using driving history, the frequency and number of failures. In addition, we have developed a deterioration judgment program based on the derived failure rate. A deterioration judgment model of power equipments on metro system was designed to establish how much environmental factors, such as thermal cycling, humidity, overvoltage and partial discharge. The deterioration rate of the transformers followed the Arrhenius log life versus reciprocal Kelvin temperature (hotspot temperature) relation. The deterioration judgment program is linked to the online condition monitoring system of urban railway system. The deterioration judgment program is based on the user interface it is possible to apply immediately to the urban rail power equipment.

  • Light rail transit is classified to rubber-tired LRT, lear induction motor LRT, steel wheel LRT, monorail and tramway. LRT except for tramway are usually operated without driver and tramway are driven depending on driver's sight like usual car. LRT, which is one type of urban guided transit, shall be operated according to domestic "Operational Regulation for Urban Guided Transit" but existing regulation does not contain the safety related codes for driverless operation. In this paper, we investigate "IEC 62267 : Railway Application-Safety Requirements for Automated Urban Guided Transit" and compensate for existing operational regulation by referring to international standard and operational rule of commercial line.
