도시철도 선로안전시설에 관한 고찰(I) (A Study on the Safety Facilities of Urban Railway (I))

  • In this paper, safety requirements for guard rails, buffer stops, defensive structures, anti-fire facilities, and safety sidings are studied to establish a standard. Various kinds of guard rails and their construction methods are investigated. Researches on the level difference of main track and guard rail, joint. length, and fastening force of guard rail are done. The classification of buffer stops, defensive structures, anti-fire facilities, and safety sidings and its characteristics are examined. From this study, fundamental data on the safety facilities of urban railway system are established.

  • Nowadays traction motors in the urban rail transit vehicle are controlled by VVVF inverter and have capability of regenerative braking. The algorithms to deal with the regenerating vehicle in simulation for the DC traction power supply is introduced in this paper. Substations have to be separated from the system to represent reverse biased rectifiers in substations. The model of the trains in regenerative braking has to be changed from the ideal current source to the constant voltage source since the train input voltage has to be controlled below the certain train maximum voltage. Some mismatches are unevitable because the constraint of the regenerated power can not be imposed with the constant voltage source. The mismatches represent the unused regenerated power. A computer program is developed to verify the validity of the algorithm. The test run result shows the program behaves as it is expected and proves the algorithm's validity.

  • Seismic analysis methods in use on ground structure are equivalentstatic analysis, response-displacement method and dynamic analysis etc. Equivalentstatic analysis does not considerdynamic effect, and dynamic analysis process is very complex. then 'Urbanrail transit earthquake-resistance design standard (2005.06)' is persuading that analyze by response displacement method that consider enough dynamic effect of ground structure statically. But, It is very complex and difficult to apply response-displacement method in the field. So, modified equivalentstatic analysis or pseudo static analysis that is easy to apply in the field and have rationality of design is practically used. In this study, I try to prescribe the applicable scale of structure and static analysis that have calculative effectiveness about response-displacement method by comparing and analyzing the result of each analysis method according to the scale of urban rail transit' box type concrete structure and by performing seismic analysis that apply modified equivalentstatic analysis, pseudo static analysis and response-displacement method changing the kind of ground, depth of bedrock, size of structure.

도시철도차량의 차륜마모에 따른 횡가속도 패턴분석 (A Study on the Lateral Acceleration Pattern by the shape of Worn Wheel for the Urban Railway Vehicle)

  • A geometric contact conditions of wheel/rail affect the dynamic behavior of rolling stock. Mechanical force acted on the wheel/rail causes excessive wear and increase the maintenance cost. In this study, we have studied the dynamic behavior of the urban railway vehicle with new and worn wheel by VAMPIRE program. And we have tested the accelerations of wheelset on the conventional line. The results of simulation are compared with the measuring data of field test. It shows that the acceleration of worn wheel is greater than the acceleration of new wheel in the straight track line but on the contrary, the acceleration of new wheel is greater than the acceleration of worn wheel in curved track. That results explain that the new wheel is worn out greater than the worn wheel in curved track line and need to be maintained more seriously when running in curved track line.

수익성을 감안한 경전철의 최적노선 결정방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determination of Optimum L.R.T Route from the Viewpoint of Revenue Maimization Principles)

  • Although subway system continues to be the backbone of transportation systems in a city like Seoul, there will still be areas across the city where subway services are not avaliable. Interest has steadily grown to fill this missing routes in overall urban transportation system. Light Rail Transit (L.R.T) system has been recently thought to be an appropriate mode of transportation by businessmen, professionals and transportation industry. In this regards, the purpose of this study is to explore whether L.R.T can be a feasible form of urban rail mode in the context of Seoul. First, the study develops the mathematical models to derive optimum route networks and stations. Integer Programming is employed to determine whether alternative routes are financially viable from the viewpoint of revenue maximization principles. Second, mathematical models developed are applied to Yoido area in order to examine the validity of model structures. The models constructed turns out be capable of handling alternative routes and stations. Application of models are successfully carried out to derive financially feasible set of routes and stations.

  • This paper studies on the benefit evaluation of urban railway construction project. We compares Korean Method with Japanese in calculating the generalized cost(GC) of a trip. In Japan, the disadvantage of transferring to another mode or line is included to calculate GC of trip. And environmental effects are contained directly as rail construction benefit. But in Korea, inconvenience of transferring facilities like stairways and passageway for riding a subway is not accounted to analyse benefit. As a result, there is a little investigate to improve and overcoming the inconvenience facilities of transfer, access, and egress. So, we suggest the containing the disadvantage measure of transferring facilities when subway riderships are forecasted. That will be reduced tile capital size of subway.

  • This paper suggests improvements in travel cost function of transit assignment model by analysing existing model. Two types of travel cost function are widely used for congested public networks. The one is used for strictly restricting public transport capacity. Another is non-decreasing function such as BPR function. In this paper, we analyse two types of travel cost function in case of intercity rail. The characteristics of intercity rail are different from those of public transit in urban area. Therefore travel cost function must be differently applied in each case.

도시철도 장기 사용레일의 피로수명 평가 (The Fatigue Life Evaluation of Aged Continuous Welded Rail on the Urban Railway)

  • 최근 연구결과 레일연마 및 장대레일화를 통해 누적통과톤수에 의한 레일교체기준의 연장이 가능한 것으로 보고되었다. 본 연구에서는 장기 사용레일에 대한 실내피로시험을 수행하였고, 파괴확률 50%에서의 장기 사용레일의 잔존수명을 표현한 S-N 선도는 적은 실험데이터에 대한 가중치 확률 해석기법을 사용하여 도출하였다. 여기서 피로시험에 사용된 레일들이 누적통과톤수가 서로 다르기 때문에 누적통과톤수를 평균하여 반복횟수를 수정하였다. 또한, 레일표면요철 및 열차속도를 고려한 레일 저부 휨응력은 기존 연구결과 도출된 레일휨응력 예측식을 사용하여 장기 사용레일의 잔존수명을 평가하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 도시철도에서 레일연마를 통한 레일관리가 이루어진다면 누적통과톤수에 의한 레일교체기준(약 8억톤)보다 약 2억톤이상 연장 사용이 가능하며, 피로한도 이하의 응력범위에 대한 피로시험결과를 바탕으로 레일의 피로수명을 평가하기 위해서는 수정마이너법칙보다는 피로한도 이상에서의 S-N선도 기울기의 1/2인 하이바크법칙을 적용하는 것이 합리적이라 판단되었다.

무도상 철도교 레일 장대화를 위한 궤도-교량 상호작용 해석 및 개량방안 분석 (Analysis of Track-Bridge Interaction and Retrofit Design for Installation of CWR on Non-ballasted Railway Bridge)

  • 본 연구에서는 비교적 경간이 긴 트러스교를 포함한 무도상 교량을 대상으로 장대레일을 부설할 때 궤도-교량 상호작용으로 인한 레일 부가 축응력과 교량 지점 반력 등의 변화를 검토하여 레일 장대화를 위한 개량 방안을 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 무도상 교량에서 장대레일을 부설할 경우 레일 부가 축응력과 지점 반력이 큰 폭으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 레일 부가 축응력은 횡저항력을 충분히 확보할 경우 수용 가능하지만, 지점 반력이 증가하게 될 경우 받침이나 교각의 손상이 우려되고 대규모 보수 보강을 필요로 하므로 지점 반력을 완화시킬 수 있는 방안을 강구할 필요가 있다. 교량 가동단의 마찰저항을 고려하는 경우 레일 부가 축응력은 감소하지만 지점 반력에 미치는 영향은 매우 작은 것으로 나타났다. 반면 궤도 종저항력이 작아지면 레일 부가 축응력과 지점 반력이 모두 큰 폭으로 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 레일 부가 축응력이 큰 일부 구간에 ZLR 체결장치를 적용하는 경우 레일 부가 축응력 뿐 아니라 교량 지점 반력이 크게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 무도상 교량의 레일 장대화를 위하여 일부 ZLR 체결장치를 적용하고 궤도 종저항력을 줄이는 방안이 매우 효과적이라고 판단된다.

도시철도차량의 고가선로 비상대피 시나리오 분석 (Emergency Evacuation Scenario Study of Urban Metro Vehicle Running on Elevated Guideway)

  • There have been recently introduced new types of urban metro vehicles called LRT (Light Rail Transit) running on elevated guideway such as Uijeongbu VAL(which stands for V$\acute{e}$hicule Automatique L$\acute{e}$ger: Automatic Light Rail Vehicle) system, Yong-In LIM(Linear Induction Motor) system, Incheon international airport MAGLEV(Magnetic Levitated Vehicle) system and Daegu monorail system. Most of accidents by the vehicles are bound to happen on elevated guideway. Therefore, it is of vital importance to analyze hazards related to vehicles running on elevated guideway and study emergency evacuation scenarios applicable in case of accidents on elevated guideway so as to secure the safety of the new types of urban metro vehicles. In this study, FTA(Fault Tree Analysis) model was developed to identify all possible hazards, and all possible evacuation scenarios were studied. It was also confirmed that each hazard can be corresponded to one or more evacuation scenarios. This result shows that passengers can be evacuated according to one of the scenarios identified in this study in case of an accident of "Train Stranded on Elevated Guideway".
