역사문화가로 활성화 방법에 대한 고찰 - 대전광역시 대덕구 동춘당 가로를 실제사례로 하여 - (A study on improvement method of historic cultural street. - Focusing on DongChun-Dang street -)

  • In order to improve the atmosphere within Historic and Culturally Symbolic Street- DongChun-Dang street which represents the historical characteristics of Daejeon- this study aims to derive improvement methods by analyzing preceding studies, identify problems and offer the directions that could make historic cultural street, and propose the guidelines could apply to new district development at historic cultural area. The research results are as follows : First, method for improvement of historic cultural street is not fragmentary but integrated. Second, we suggested plans for improvement of DongChun-Dang street. Third, to make historic cultural images of streets, it is considered that guidelines include volumes, colors of surrounding buildings and designs of street furnitures have to be provided on the new urban or district development at historic cultural area.

일본의 Road Station사업을 통한 지역활성화 사례에 대한 기초적 연구 (A Study on the Regional Activation through System of Road Station in Japan)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of the road station in japan. The thorough investigation and observation works were made from the view points of the location and service facilities of the road station in kanto area. This article discusses about the basic characteristics of the road stations and actual condition of service facilities of 126 road stations in kanto area. The results of this study are summarized as follows; The main patterns of the site by locational conditions are classified in five types. Those are mountain district type, traffic point type, urban district type, riverside type and seaside type. In planning of road stations, locational condition and regional difference of public facilities are crucial factors.

  • This study aims at advancing waterfront of Pusan Port and attempting to establish an identity through studying characteristics of place in Pusan Port. The place is consisted of two elements ; orientation and identity, which is expressed clearly the environmental totality including the character and space. The urban waterfront is also one of the place pattern, and that is consist of land area, water area, and transit zone combining two areas. Although there are a lot of primary factors to be able to make the most of the character and identity in Pusan port, badly planned development prevents the plan promoting the sense of place in urban waterfront. The point in the waterfront development plan of Pusan Port is how to secure aminities based on Identity and Orientation; node, landmark, edge, path, district. The result of this study is for planners to develop more and systematic approaches which could utilize waterfront.

농촌지역 중심지의 기능변화에 따른 정주체계 모형설정 (Settlement System Remodeling under Functional Change of Rural Centers)

  • This study was carried out to find out the time-dependent change of central functions in the depopulated rural areas. Three county areas were selected for the case study ; Haenam(as a remote flat area), Goksung(as an intermediate mountainous area), and Hwasun(as a peri-urban area). For each district area administered by each county, service facilities stock was surveyed at both the present('02) and the past('89 or '94)time, and its functional index checked. From the study results, table-tennis rooms, oil shops and inns were ascertained to be disappeared now in the absolute or real terms, while beer halls, restaurants and bakeries to be sharply increased. Generally, in spite of the substantial depopulation in the past decade, service facilities stock has been increased in and concentrated to the highest order center of rural area (county office seated district). However, where this center leans to the outer side of its county area and to the opposite direction against the regional center, the dependent level of service function on the highest center have decreased.

  • The intent of this study is to propose future planning guidelines and directions of the mixed-use buildings in the residential land development district in country-side cities, based on the concept that the neighborhood facilities are to be strategically laid out in a convenient location and planned in a proper manner for a healthy, safe, friendly and new neighborhood environment. For this purpose, seventeen mixed-use buildings which had been built in Shin-Eum housing development district in Gimcheon from 1995 until 2004 were chosen and investigated in terms of architectural characteristics in that process with surveying and analyzing those. The scope of investigation on case studies was that site size would be below 400 square meters, total area below 1500 square meters, and the number of stories below five stories high on the ground. Method of investigation on those was through field investigation, field photographs, recordings and drawings on those. Investigative contents have been divided and analyzed into the quantitative and qualitative factors in urban and architectural dimension. From results of quantitative investigations, five planning guidelines or directions could be obtained. From results of qualitative investigations, five planning guidelines or directions could be obtained. The criteria will be applied to new architectural developments of the neighborhood facilities linked with the small shops.

  • Objective of Urban regeneration project is a recovery of urban utilities through a physical, environmental, cultural, industrial and economic regeneration. The current paradigm of urban regeneration is not a simple redevelopment as physical redevelopment or improvement. Urban regeneration project is an overall development including a central commercial capacity and business capacity for administration and management, cultural facilities, sightseeing, a residential area. So Urban regeneration project include a various project. Project management of Urban Regeneration project is widely different with general project management. For that purpose, this research would offer to contribute the success factors of urban regeneration project for successful project. For offering these, this research analyzed the properties of urban regeneration project and success factors of construction project by reviewing a literature. The principal characteristics are variety objectives of each district of urban regeneration project, a diversity of stakeholder's objectives and complex structure of stakeholders, an unstructured decision-making system, a lack of plan for business cooperation. We abstracted factors for urban regeneration from brainstorming and verification by experienced experts. We suggest 2 factors related to achieving a goal effectively and 10 factors related to progress of urban regeneration project efficiently.

주거단지계획 기본구상 결정요인에 관한 연구 - 물리적 계획요소를 중심으로 - (The Determinant Factors of Basic Concept in the Residential Site Planning - Focus on Physical Planning Elements -)

  • The purpose of this study is to present basic data of basic concept that planners should consider in planning process. For this purpose, we have proposed the determinant factors of basic concept. In particular, this study focuses on the physical planning elements among the various planning elements that determine the basic concept. The research method is the case study and analysis for the competitions of LH for the past four years. After dividing the residential environment area, the planning elements was derived and the planning direction is arranged for the case district. The determinants factor were determined by the structure of each area. Three area, including the degree of urban context, were found to be the main determinants of the basic idea. The results of the study are as follows. (1) The degree of reflection of urban context, the degree of effort to resolve environmental influences are determinant factors of basic concept. (2) The degree of connection between urban and site area, the degree of overlapping of the boundaries, and street are determinant factors of basic concept. (3) The degree of appropriateness of the residential layout, the degree of rationality of the moving plan, the adequacy of the community space plan are determinant factors of basic concept.

철도시설과 연계한 이리 도시구조와 도시경관의 근대성 해석 (A Study on the Interpretation of Modern Urban Structure and Urban Landscape of Iri(Iksan) in Connection with Railway)

  • Modern railway construction by Japanese had a great influence on the urbanization, transformation of urban structure and landscape during the Japanese imperialism and compressive increasing period in Iri(Iksan). This paper aims to find out the effect of railway on the modern urban structure and urban landscape in Iri(Iksan). Railways in Iri, Honam railway, Kunsan railway, Jeonla railway have been constructed progressively during 1911 and 1915 with Iri and old Iri(east-Iri) station. From the analysis of land registration maps and street plans, old photographies and historical records, some significant features underling railway construction can be followed in view of modern urbanization process in Iri. Firstly railways cut off the possibility of developing urban structure based on traditional spatial structure of Iksan. Secondly railways made dual spatial structure in Iri. Japanese and Korean life zone were divided into separate district around urbanization area and market place. Thirdly traditional space cognition system based on four cardinal directions were changed to front and rear space of railway station. Fourthly railways and stations caused neo-baroque spatial order and imperialistic urban landscape of Iri with axis, vista and gridiron plan. Fifthly break points and fringe belts garbling modern urbanization process are created. Sixthly modern cultural and consumptive urban spaces were taken their seats in relation with daily urban life.

The Role of Public Developer in Urban Regeneration Projects

  • With the passing of Special Act on Promotion and Support for Urban Regeneration (will be hereafter referred to as the Urban Regeneration Special Act) in December 2013, urban regeneration projects have begun in full scale. 13 regions including Jongno District, Seoul were selected as the urban regeneration leading area in 2014 and 33 regions as urban regeneration general regions in 2015 to push ahead a nationwide urban regeneration front supported by government funds. However, it is not clear if these urban regeneration projects will be revitalized by the sole means of government's financial support. Above all, cooperation among all interested parties including the central government that is propelling urban regeneration, local governments, state corporations, private entities, and citizens is urgent. In an urban regeneration project, delegation between state and private entities is absolutely crucial. The central government and the pertinent local government must provide their support by forming new policies and repairing old institutions that are right for urban regeneration, securing the necessary subsidy, and outsourcing government-owned land development. A state corporation must play its part in every aspect that requires public character such as an overall project management of an urban regeneration project, cooperation with the local government, and infrastructure installation. The private stakeholder must share his private capital and know-hows as a construction investor and a development businessman to make possible a successful urban regeneration project. In order for these public and private entities to cooperate with one another, it is necessary to reestablish the role of a public developer and contemplate running an urban regeneration project that permeates public character through a public developer.

농촌, 어촌, 도시 지역별 칼슘, 인, 철, 아연의 섭취상태 비교평가 (Comparative Evaluation of Dietary Intakes of Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, and Zinc in Rural, Coastal, and Urban District)

  • 본 연구에서는 식생활 양상이 서로 다를 것으로 생각되는 농촌, 어촌, 도시 지역별 각각 137명, 100명, 117명을 대상으로 직접면담과 24시간 회상법에 의한 식사섭취 조사를 실시한 후 현재 우리나라에서 권장량이 설정되어 있는 칼슘, 인, 철, 아연을 중심으로한 무기질의 섭취 상태를 비교${\cdot}$ 평가함으로써 대상자 특성별 영양지도에 필요한 기초 자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 농촌, 어촌, 도시 지역 대상자들의 평균 연령은 긱각 55.5세, 57.0세, 47.9세였다. 지역별 1일 총 식품섭취량은 유의한 차이가 없었으나 곡류, 당류, 채소류, 버섯류, 어패류, 우유류, 유지류의 섭취량은 유의한 차이를 보여 곡류, 버섯류, 채소류는 농촌지역이, 어패류는 어촌지역이, 당류, 우유류, 유지류 섭취량은 도시지역이 높았다. 영양권장량 대비 에너지, 칼슘, 비타민 A, 비타민 $B_6$ 섭취 비율은 지역별 유의한 차이를 보여 에너지와 비타민 $B_6$는 농촌지역이, 칼슘과 비타민 A는 도시지역이 높았으며, 어촌지역은 칼슘, 비타민 A, 비타민 $B_6$ 섭취비율이 세 지역 중 가장 낮았다. 전체대상자의 권장량 대비 무기질 섭취비율은 칼슘 $60.1\%$, 인 $123.9\%$, 철 $95.2\%$, 아연 $73.1\%$로 칼슘과 아연 섭취가 낮았다. 지역별 비교에서 칼슘 섭취비율은 농촌과 어촌이 각각 $58.2\%$$53.5\%$로 도시 지역의 $67.9\%$보다 유의하게 (p<0.01) 낮았다. 칼슘은 채소류, 버섯류, 과일류, 육류, 어패류, 우유류를 통한 섭취량이 지역별 유의한 차이를 보여 채소류, 버섯류, 육류는 농촌지역이, 어패류는 어촌지역이, 과일류와 우유류는 도시지역이 가장 높았다. 권장량 대비 무기질 섭취비율을 $75\%$ 미만, $75\~125\%,\;125\%$ 이상으로 분류하여 지역별 분포 차이를 살펴보았을 때 아연은 권장량의 $75\%$ 미만을 섭취한 대상자가 어촌 및 도시가 농촌보다 유의(p<0.05)하게 많았으며, 전체대상자 중 권장량의 $75\%$ 미만을 섭취한 대상자는 칼슘 $74.9\%$, 아연 $63.8\%$로 높았다. 전체 대상자의 칼슘 섭취에 기여한 식품은 멸치, 배추김치, 우유, 두부, 쌀, 아이스크림, 미역, 요구르트, 미꾸라지, 파 순이었으며, 이상의 10가지 식품을 통해 전체 칼슘 섭취량의 $53.5\%$가 공급되었다. 인, 철, 아연은 쌀을 통한 공급량이 각각 무기 질 섭취량의 $15.5\%,\;22.1\%,\;35.9\%$로서 가장 높았다. 아연은 쌀 이외에 돼지고기, 쇠고기, 팥, 개고기, 닭고기, 우럭, 두부, 차조, 배추김치를 통해 총 아연 섭취량의 $64.4\%$를 섭취하였다. 이상의 연구결과를 종합할 때 어촌지역의 식품 및 영양소 섭취 수준이 가장 낮았으며, 세 지역 모두 칼슘과 아연의 섭취가 권장량에 미치지 못하였다. 칼슘은 농촌과 어촌의 섭취량이 도시지역보다 낮았으며, 권장량의 $75\%$ 미만의 아연을 섭취하고 있는 대상자는 어촌 및 도시가 농촌보다 유의 (p<0.05)하게 많았다. 따라서 칼슘과 아연 섭취를 증가시키기 위해서는 농촌지역은 어패류와 우유류, 어촌지역은 채소류와 우유류, 도시지역은 채소류와 같이 지역에 따라 각 무기질의 공급이 취약한 식품을 선택적이고 집중적으로 섭취할 수 있도록 영양지도를 차별화시켜야 할 것이다.
