도시 창조성의 지역별 특성과 도시 경쟁력에 미치는 영향 (The Regional Characteristics and Effects on the Urban Competitiveness of Urban Creativity)

  • This study analysis effects of creativity character on the nation's urban areas and the competitiveness of the urban. The result is that talent of urban creativity effects on the competitiveness of the urban. However, technique and tolerance had not great effect on the competitiveness between cities. After departmentalizing the arrangement of urban creativity, Advanced services constantly appear to affect the competitiveness. Researchers of talent in 2000 and 2005, a culture artistes of tolerance in 2005 and 2009, appeared to affect the competitiveness of urban. In other words, this is changing that the indicators which is impacted on the competitiveness of the urban and each indicator's power with time. According to the result, the study suggests solutions. First, policy direction has to be setting by appropriate the character creativity in urban. Second, there needs the policy which is more focused on talent and tolerance for improving the creativity of urban. For the specific, there needs suggestion about cultural artist and researchers. Finally, considering about changing the urban creativity with time, policy direction has too be setting by reflecting this change.

호주의 창조도시 개발사업에 관한 연구: 멜버른의 맬버농시를 사례로 (Developing Creative Cities in Australia: A Case Study on the City of Maribyrnong, Victoria)

  • 호주 멜버른지역에 소재한 맬버농은 작은 시급정부로, 시 정부 주도로 과거 군수산업용지를 정화하여 주택지구로 재개발하였고, 도시기반시설을 정비하여 경관을 개선하는 한편, 도심을 활성화하고 있다. 도심의 빈 점포를 임대하여 대학 캠퍼스를 조성하고, 도심에 Little Saigon이란 베트남 촌을 조성하는가 하면, 빅토리아 대학과 연계해서 창조산업 관련 창업보육사업을 통해 기업유치 및 기업육성을 위해 노력하고 있다. 이 사례에 기초해서 볼 때, 호주는 창조도시사업을 통해 사회 경제적, 도시경관적 여건을 개선하는데 성공하고 있으며, 그러한 과정에서 대학과 각급 정부, 그리고 시민단체의 역할이 큰 것으로 파악된다.

창의적 인물에 대한 지역 및 세대별 인식차이 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study about Different Perceptions on Creative Individuals in South Korea)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 대도시와 농촌 그리고 신세대와 기성세대 사이의 창의적 인물에 대한 인식 차이를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 살펴보기 위해 먼저 국내 대도시와 농촌지역의 일반인들을 대상으로 각자가 생각하는 창의적 인물 및 특성에 대해 조사했다. 이러한 조사 내용을 바탕으로 창의적 인물의 창의적 특성 리스트를 제작하여 대도시 및 농촌지역의 중학생을 대상으로 추가 설문을 실시했다. 분석 결과 첫째, 대도시 지역 및 신세대 응답자들은 주로 기업인을 창의적 인물로 언급했으며 해당 인물이 창의적인 이유를 창의적 사고, 성향 및 산물 요인으로 설명했다. 하지만 농촌 지역 및 기성세대 응답자들은 정치인을 창의적 인물 또는 직업군으로 언급했고 그들이 창의적인 이유를 사회적 명예 및 도덕성 요인으로 설명했다. 마지막으로 대도시와 농촌지역 중학생들 사이에서도 이와 비슷한 경향이 발견되었으며 이는 통계적으로 유의미한 결과였다.

초등과학영재들의 창의성 유형 분석 (Creativity Styles of Elementary Science Gifted Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 TTCT 도형 검사를 통해 초등과학영재들의 창의성 유형(style)을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 영재학생 206명을 대상으로 TTCT도형 검사를 실시하였으며 Kim (2006)의 이론에 의해 창의성의 2가지 유형이 나타나는지 알아보기 위해 요인분석을 실시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 지역별, 학년별, 성별에 따른 창의성 유형 비율과 창의성 유형별 성에 따른 창의성 수준 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 TTCT 도형 검사는 창의성 수준(level)뿐만 아니라 창의성 유형 즉 적응적 유형과 혁신적 유형의 2가지로 분류할 수 있었다. 창의성 유형 비율을 보면 지역별, 학년별, 성별에 관계없이 적응적 유형이 혁신적 유형보다 많았다. 지역별의 경우 대도시일수록 적응적 유형이 많고 읍면지역일수록 혁신적 유형이 많았으며 학년일경우 6학년은 적응적 유형이 많았고 5학년은 혁신적 유형이 많았다. 성별일 경우 여학생은 적응적 유형이 남학생은 혁신적 유형이 많았다. 적응적 유형일 경우 여학생이 남학생보다 유의미하게 높았으며 혁신적 유형일 경우 유의미하지 않았지만 여학생이 남학생보다 높게 나타나 여학생이 남학생보다 창의성 수준이 높게 나타났다. 창의성 유형 분석을 통해 개인의 강점과 제한점을 알고 참여도를 높일 수 있을 것이다.

A Study on Citizen Participation System based on Design Thinking, Design Science - Smart City case

  • Purpose: The importance of creativity has been emphasized in the transition from industrial society to knowledge-based society. Recently, design thinking has attracted great attention as one of the ways to increase the creativity of the organization. From the perspective of solving urban problems through collaboration between technology and citizens, the active participation of citizens is indispensable for realizing smart cities. Research design, data and methodology: From the perspective of solving urban problems through collaboration between technology and citizens, the active participation of citizens is indispensable for realizing smart cities. Results: Therefore, the purpose of this research was to design a citizen-participation type system and contents using a specific space to realize a smart city. This system utilizes the concept of space as a tool to promote innovation activities with the participation of citizens and makes it easy for users of space to participate based on urban problems derived from living labs and the internal structure and user flow line have been designed. Conclusions: It was been also used voice recognition, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data as important technologies for experiencing smart cities. The system and content were designed with an emphasis on allowing citizens to directly recognize and experience smart city technology, especially through space-based information visualization and multi-faceted stimulus elements.

Reconsideration on the Agglomeration Factors of Cultural Industries

  • The early studies on the cultural industries had mainly emphasized the viewpoint of "efficiency" based on the "flexible specialization" theory, but they have gradually shed light on the viewpoint of "creativity": creative human resources and various networks generating creative energies. Despite the importance of these studies, it is impossible to explain every cultural industrial agglomeration phenomena from specific and few viewpoints due to the diversity of each cultural industry. This study describes the dissimilarity of agglomeration factors between the Japanese animation and home video game industries which form salient agglomeration in the same region. Both industries share similar characteristics with industrial agglomeration of SMEs in Tokyo and close inter-firm relationships. However, they differ in their historical development paths and each firm's behavior and strategy because of their own distribution systems and production processes. In particular, the difference in distribution systems clearly affects whether a company values "efficiency" factors of agglomeration advantage or "creativity" factors of that in case of locational choice. The distribution sector of the cultural industry, compared with the production sector, has a tendency to value profitability rather than creation itself. Therefore, a cultural industry with the strong distribution sector tends to form the industrial system emphasizing profitability. The Japanese animation firm is apt to choose its location from the perspective of efficiency, which easily contributes to profitability, because television broadcasting stations are strong distribution sector. Conversely, the Japanese game firm chooses its location from the perspective of creativity due to the absence of strong distribution sector.

도시와 농촌지역 초등과학 영재학생들의 정의적 특성 및 교육 요구분석 (An Analysis of the Affective Characteristics and the Demands on Education of Elementary Science gifted Students in Urban and Rural Areas)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze affective characteristics and the demands of elementary science gifted students on gifted educations in urban and rural areas. The subjects were 196 science gifted students. The survey questionnaires were consisted of self-esteem, interests in science, scientific attitudes, and demands regarding gifted classes. The results of this study were as follows. First, self-esteem and interests in science, particularly interests toward science, toward science learning, toward science related careers, in urban gifted students were higher than those in rural areas. Whereas interests toward science activities and science anxiety of science gifted students in rural areas were significantly higher than those in urban area. Furthermore, scientific attitudes of science gifted students in urban area were higher than rural those in open-mindedness, critical-mindedness, voluntariness, creativity, whereas science gifted students in rural areas were higher than urban those in cooperation. Second, for the analysis on demands regarding class contents and methods, 'teaching content that challenges and exciting stimuli' of science gifted students in rural areas were significantly higher than those in urban area. Third, for the analysis on demands regarding educational environments, 'satisfaction with class materials provided by gifted classes' of gifted students in urban area were higher than those in rural area.

창조도시정책의 추진과정과 성과에 대한 국제적 비교연구: 영국, 프랑스, 호주, 일본, 한국을 사례로 (Processes and Outcomes of Creative City Policies: Case Studies on the UK, France, Australia, Japan and Korea)

  • 1970년대 이후 산업화시대가 퇴조함에 따라 선진공업국의 경제가 크게 변하였다. 국가경제의 중심적 역할을 하던 대규모 공업도시의 경제가 몰락하여 대량실업과 도시경관의 파괴 등이 심각한 사회문제로 부각되었다. 이러한 상황에 대비하여 리차드 플로리다, 찰스 랜드리 등은 창조성에 기초한 경제구조의 전환을 주장하였고, 영국, 미국, 프랑스 등 세계 여러 나라들은 그러한 주장을 수용하여 창조도시쟁책을 추진하였다. 필자들은 영국, 프랑스, 호주, 일본, 한국 등이 조성하고자 한 대표적 창조도시에 관한 정책 추진과정과 체계, 성과 등을 국가별로 분석하고 정책적, 이론적 시사점을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 각기 추진한 그러한 국가별 사례연구를 종합하여 비교 분석하고, 정리한 것이다.

도시 저임금 취업주부의 가정관리에 대한 가치의식과 가정관리 행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the relation of Urban Low-Paid housewives Value Consciousness and Activities of Home Management.)

  • The Purpose of this study is to investigate both the value consciousness of home management and home management activities which urban low-paid housewives have and to find out the value consciousness of home management has an influence upon the home management activities. The results obtained area as follows; 1) Most of urban low-paid housewives are place in a traditional position of home management as a housekeeper or as a family leader. 2)But partially they gave more or less modern standpoints in consuming, planning and family relationship. 3) The value consciousness of home management of urban low-paid housewives is variable according to housewives' age (P<.05), education (P<.001), numbers of children(P<0.5) and wording experiences before marriage (P<0.1). The younger respondonts showed rather modernistic value consciousness of home management. The respondonts who have high educational level showed the same result. It is also strong points form them to habe few children and to have working experiences before marriage. 4) while the home management activities of urban low-paid housewives are positive as for connecting with human relationship, consuming and evaluating they are negative as for connecting with planning, creativity and housekeeping. 5)On the whole, the home management activities are variable by housewives' age (P<.05). The younger showed more effective home management abilities. 6) the home management activities of urban low-paid housewives are influenced by the value consciousness of home management. The more modernistic value consciousness of home management is connected directed directly with excellent home management activities.

  • "We need to overcome the lack of space and infrastructure." Construction in the 20th century had been basically motivated by this need. It had enabled almost automatic financing on land as well as plenty of public investment. However we cannot expect such investment in built environment any more in the 21st century, when urban structures have been fully built. "We have space and infrastructures but want to make them better." We must find the new way how to strategically organize creativity on use as well as such users' want itself for sustaining investment in built environment. In this paper the outline of such a new way is discussed.
