We report three cases of children who underwent definitive conversion to the Fontan circulation using a new surgical technique, Extracardiac Epicardial Lateral Tunnel. This new procedure allows the operation to be performed as a totally extracardiac operation [especially in ventricular dysfunction] and allows it to be performed in a very small atrium and in cases with unsuitable pulmonary venous drainage.Our data suggest that this procedure may achieve satisfactory hemodynamics of the total cavopulmonary connection.

In this work, extensions to partial least squares (PLS) for wastewater treatment (WWT) process monitoring are discussed. While three subjects were running on treadmill at five different speeds, their heart beat interval times were measured and analyzed. From the analysis, we discovered some relation- ships between workload and cardiac response, especially cardiac arrhythmia. Using these relationships, a physioligical model for estimating workload was developed. Although pulse rate has been considered as a good measure of physical load, this study shows that it is highly subject dependent and therefore unsuitable for task evalution. It is recommended to use range of heart beat interval times rather than pulse rate in the evaluation of light work.

This field study was conducted to survey the effect of seating ＆ lighting conditions on work. The results were as follows ; Discomfortable parts of body caused by unsuitable sitting postures on work were low back 52.05%, leg 15.75%, neck 14.38% and arm 9.59%. Work conditions of sitting postures were needed arm rest, back rest of seat and adjustable seat height. Effect of work efficiency by lighting conditions were statistically significant relationship between glaring state of workstation and lighting state.

Many air quality models have been used for Environmental impact assessments. Miller-Holzworth model suggested by Holzworth is a simple air quality model is frequently used for air quality assessments in korea. Miller-Holzworth model suggested by Holzworth is a simple air quality model for the ground-level area source, The model estimates the pollutants concentration averaged over the wind centerline. An error involved in the Miller-Holzworth model was first indentified by Calder in 1977. But the model has been used without correction for unsuitable cases in Korea. This paper corrected that error and modified model formulation for application to urban and rural areas.

The small bowel is the most difficult intestinal segment to examine. Radiologic tests are mostly insensitive and double-balloon enteroscopy is unsuitable for the younger child. Capsule endoscopy is a novel wireless method of investigation of the small bowel. The primary indications for capsule endoscopy include evaluation of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, small bowel Crohn's disease, and polyposis syndromes. Capsule endoscopy offers an accurate and effective means of investigating the small bowel in children. Capsule retention is a potential complication of capsule endoscopy. This review provides the indications, safety, and limitations of wireless capsule endoscopy in children.

Commercial conductive metal inks are available, but metals used in these have unsuitable work function for efficient OLED device performance. Metals with low work function tend to oxidize easily, which makes it challenging to develop low work function metal inks. In this research we describe printed low work function Al cathode.

Musculoskeletal Disorders are usually caused or aggravated by poor work processes and unsuitable working conditions - that involve repetitive or forceful movements or the maintenance of constrained or awkward postures. The condition is characterized by discomfort and persistent pain. Case and Demographic Characteristics for Work-related Injuries and Illnesses Involving Days Away From Work, 2003. U.S" was examined. Causes of musculoskeletal disorders for assembly line workers were carpal tunnel syndrome(CTS), tendonitis, low back pain, and occupational stress. Recommendations of improvement for productivity are redesign of working conditions, exercise, prevent of musculoskeletal disorders and avoiding stress.
