Motion generation of a four-bar linkage is a type of mechanism synthesis that has a wide range of applications such as a pick-and-place operation in manufacturing. In this research, the use of meta-heuristics for motion generation of a four-bar linkage is demonstrated. Three problems of motion generation were posed as a constrained optimization probably using the weighted sum technique to handle two types of tracking errors. A simple penalty function technique was used to deal with design constraints while three meta-heuristics including differential evolution (DE), self-adaptive differential evolution (JADE) and teaching learning based optimization (TLBO) were employed to solve the problems. Comparative results and the effect of the constraint handling technique are illustrated and discussed.

이 연구는 한국의 산업간 연계구조변화를 분석하기 위하여 1995-2000 -2005-2009년도 접속불변 산업연관표를 이용하여 산업간 연계구조의 변화를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 분석기간 동안 우리나라의 경제규모는 견조한 성장세를 이루어 총 산출액 기준 1995년 1,190조원에서 2009년에는 2,775조원으로 증가하였다. 둘째, 산업의 연계구조에 의한 산업군 형성의 경우 1995년 서비스 전자-중공업-중화학-1차 공공, 2000년 서비스-중화학-중공업 전자-1차 공공, 2005년 서비스-제조업-소비재-1차 공공, 2009년 서비스 전자-제조업-소비재-1차 공공으로 변화되어왔다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structure, status and economic ripple effects of the fisheries processing industry in Korea using interindustry analysis. Five input-output tables published over the past twenty years have been reclassified with a focus on the fisheries processing sector. Through these multi-period tables, we analyzed changes in the inducing effects in production, value added and employment as well as the backward-forward linkage effects. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the industrial scale of the fisheries processing industry is very small compared to other food manufacturing industries. The backward linkage effect of the fisheries processing industry was greater than that of other industries, but the forward linkage effect was rather low. This means that the fisheries processing industry can be greatly affected by industrial depression of the downstream industries such as fishery and aquaculture. Production and employment-inducing effects of the fisheries processing industry have shown a decreasing trend in recent years. This reflects the reality that intermediate inputs are gradually being replaced by imports from domestic production due to the expansion of market opening and the depletion of fishery resource. In the future, it is necessary to prepare a strategy to increase the value-added productivity of the fisheries processing sector and foster it as an export industry.

This study was designed to analyze the relationship of process quality, result quality and management performance in Korean insurance industry. For this study the linkage scheme of service quality concept is used on PZB model and BSC(Balances Score Card) system. In the linkage model, the 5 service qualitry factors used in PZB model are used as the result quality variables, and internal process factor, learning/growth factor in BSC are used the process quality variables affecting the result quality variables. And also customer satisfation factor and financial performance index are used as the management performance variables. In the ivsurance industry, the process quality variables were verified to meaningfully affect the result quality variables, and the result service quality variables were verified to affect the management performance indices. As the result, the process quality and the service quality must be emhanced for the competitiveness of Korean insurance industry.

Purpose: This study attempted to analyze the impacts of the backward linkage and output multipliers, and investigate the price fluctuation and the price forecast amongst the manufacturing sectors associated with food processing industrial output of Thailand. Research design, data and methodology: The Thailand Input-Output table with a size of 180 x 180 sectors from 2005, 2010, and 2015 was utilized while the secondary data of the time series from January 2002 to December 2021 were processed via a multiplicative model and Box-Jenkins model. Results: The backward linkage analysis indicates that canning and preserving of the meat sector majorly utilized the factors of production from the slaughtering sector; canning and preservation of fish and other seafoods sector largely used those factors from the ocean and coastal fishing sector; and the sugar sector used those of the sugarcane sector. Notably, the output multiplier analysis indicated that output multipliers of those 3 manufacturing sectors were highly increased; meanwhile the price fluctuation continually existed in all forms. Besides, the price forecast suggested that prices of chicken and sugarcane tended to be higher; whereas, the price of shrimp was unstable. Conclusions: Food processing industry contains the favorable components to be one of the industries of the future of Thailand.

In the past few decades, the importance of dynamics of University-Industry Linkage(UIL) in strengthening national and regional innovation competency and global competitiveness has been progressively more acknowledged. However, establishing an effective UIL for a better economic development is still a challenging endeavor in Ethiopia, particularly in Tigray region. This study is aimed at assessing the status of UIL and in order to achieve such aim it analyzed the determinants of firms' intensity of interaction with the Mekelle University (MU) and the effect of the intensity of interaction on the relevant firms' innovation performance. The findings of the study showed that the status of UIL between the firms and the university in Tigray region was at an infant stage. The study also found that firm size, firm age (startups) and government supports have had a significant effect on firms' intensity of interaction with the MU. However, the firms' intensity of interaction with the MU did not have any significant effect on the firms' innovation performance. In contrast, cooperation with customers, other groups and suppliers, firm size, firm age, and in-house R&D activities were found to have a significant effect on the firms' innovation performance. In conclusion, the acquisition of knowledge and technology from university does not have an important role in firms' innovation performance in the studied region. Consequently, the government should design effective strategies and assign responsible bodies to implement the strategies, create awareness, and organize both firms and university to meet and work together in order to enhance firms' innovation performance.

In this paper, innovation policies for systems reform in China since the middle 80's are surveyed and its impacts on science industry linkage activities are investigated by looking into (1) technology market, (2) S&T outsourcing activities of firms and (3) co-invention patents by applicants in firms, universities and public research institutions. All of these findings suggest that the role of science sector in China's economic development process has become larger, and double skin problem (separation of science and industry sector) in China's innovation system has been gradually solved by a number of policy actions to facilitate science industry linkages.

본 연구에서는 산업연관분석을 통해 공간정보산업의 특징을 도출하였다. 이를 위하여 공간정보산업을 재분류하고 이에 맞게 산업연관표를 수정하여 공간정보산업을 분석하였으며 생산유발계수, 영향력계수, 감응력계수를 도출하였다. 그 결과 공간정보산업은 생산유발효과는 작으나 전방연쇄효과가 매우 큰 산업으로 확인되었다. 이를 기반으로 공간정보산업 육성을 위한 정책의 방향성을 '산업생태계 조성, 고도화와 활용도 향상 병행, 장기적 관점 수립'으로 제시하였다.

지방자치제도가 정착되면서 각 지자체들이 지역의 발전을 위하여 지역산업 육성을 위한 정책을 계획하고 실행하는데, 이를 위해서는 지역의 여건에 맞는 산업입지 및 경제기반을 구축하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 지역의 발전을 위해서는 지역산업의 발전이 선행되어야 하며, 해당 지역의 여건에 맞는 산업을 집중하여 발전시킬 필요가 있다. 이 연구는 전국을 7개 지역으로 구분하고, 2005 지역산업연관표의 78개 부분 생산유발계수 열합계 자료를 이용하여, 인자분석을 실시하였으며 8개의 인자를 추출하였다. 제1인자는 동남권을 중심으로 파급효과가 높은 산업, 제2인자는 수도권, 제3인자는 대경권과 호남권, 제4인자는 제주권, 제5인자는 강원권과 관련이 높은 산업이 도출되었다. 제6인자는 충청, 호남, 대경, 동남권 내부적으로 파급효과가 큰 산업을 설명하고 있으며, 제7인자는 제주권에서 수요가 증가되었을 때 타지역에서 파급효과가 큰 산업, 마지막으로 제8인자는 타지역에서 수요가 증가할 경우 충청권에 파급효과가 큰 산업으로 분석되었다.

Performing approximate data matching has always been an intriguing problem for both industry and academia. This task becomes even more challenging when the requirement of data privacy rises. In this paper, we propose a novel technique to address the problem of efficient privacy-preserving approximate record linkage. The secure framework we propose consists of two basic components. First, we utilize a secure blocking component based on phonetic algorithms statistically enhanced to improve security. Second, we use a secure matching component where actual approximate matching is performed using a novel private approach of the Levenshtein Distance algorithm. Our goal is to combine the speed of private blocking with the increased accuracy of approximate secure matching.
