One Helicosporium strain, isolated from a wilted chestnut tree, evidenced in vitro antimicrobial activity against various types of bacteria and fungi, and generated a diffusible pigment. The antimicrobial compounds and the diffusible pigment of the Helicosporium sp. isolate were purified via solvent fractionation, column chromatography, and recycling preparative chromatography. Both the major antimicrobial compound and the diffusible pigment were identified as 2-methylresorcinol via nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Therefore, 2-methylresorcinol, a diffusible pigment generated by Helicosporium sp., appears to be an active antimicrobial principle. This pigment also exhibited considerable cytotoxicity against mammalian cells.

The study has an implication that it provides a basic data on policy support strategies by central and local autonomous governments that facilitate entrepreneurs to achieve start-up business goals by understanding the factors that affect the business performance of entrepreneurs. In addition, the study offers new directions for entrepreneurs in a way that promotes the start-up performance by business room for free, education & coaching support, consulting support by practitioner, promotion & new market opening support which were investigated as statistical insignificant constructs, so that the author expects new studies about more effective business incubator system to enhance the performanc of start-up in business incubator.
The purpose of this study is to present factors and strategies for successful rewarded-crowdfunding of companies. For this, rewarded-crowdfunding based on the extended theory of planned behavior(E-TPB) by adding individual innovation and risk preference as extended variables, in addition to the basic variables of the theory of planned behavior(TPB), including attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control. In addition, the moderating effect of rewarded-crowdfunding experience was confirmed. In addition, the moderating effect of the rewarded-crowdfunding experience was confirmed, and exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted for questionnaires who were aware of the concept of rewarded-crowdfunding. As a result of testing the hypothesis, it was found that attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and risk preference affect the intention to invest in rewarded-crowdfunding. Also, we could find that perceived behavior control and risk preference were moderately influenced by investor who had experience in rewarded-crowdfunding. Based on the research results, it has academic and practical value by presenting the direction of enhancing the success of rewarded-crowdfunding that companies can use as a way to raise funds and boost sales.
A total of 84 questionnaires were analyzed for students with experience in entrepreneurship education in Cheonan-Asan, Chungnam province. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the experience of founding education, the personal characteristics of university students, on intention to start a business. As a result, first, there was a correlation between the intention of incubation of college students and the intention of incubation. Significantly at the level. Second, education satisfaction, which is a subordinate factor of entrepreneurship education, did not have a significant effect on achievement desire and self-efficacy, which are subdomains of entrepreneurship intention. Third, creativity was found to have a significant effect on both the desire for achievement and self-efficacy of intention, and creativity showed explanatory power of .603 and 35.1% for R2. The value of .493 and R2 of creativity and self-efficacy are 25.5%.

According to attended about startup, there are many policy and program for activating of startup. Government's policy and program was scale up and arrangements for high quality. Nevertheless, policies and programs are concentrated on ante-startup stage. And experts have questioned that effect. So, there are needed a program focusing pre-startup and incubation stage. Accordingly, this study propose a kind of educative program named Pre-Startup Support Program. Through the program, pre-startup teams or entrepreneurs will inspect items, business skills and surroundings of market and competitors. And they have a time for complementation of deficiency. This study selects ETRI spin-off(research based spin-off born ETRI) by means of an object of study. ETRI's programs are started in 2011 with intent to incubate the entrepreneur through market research, mentoring, space of incubation and funds. This study analyze using the ISA(Important-Satisfaction Analyze) and the regression. We classify the pre-startup support program using the ISA. And then, we analyze the influence of satisfaction using the regression. On the basis of results, we identify the effectiveness of pre-startup support program and propose plans for reinforcement. In conclusion, adopting a pre-startup support program is expected to success of startup.
This research focuses on entrepreneurial orientation(EO) of technology spin-offs as they are expected to reduce the gap between their technology and the market. Entrepreneurial orientation is an organizational activity or process that redistributes or combines resources in an innovative way and takes risk to create new values. It helps improve the level of organizational innovation to deal with uncertainty. An empirical study was performed to analyze the EO of spin-offs established by members of university faculties and research institutes in Korea. Antecedent variables to EO are hypothesized to include public policy for university faculty members and researchers at research institutes, the relationship with incubating organizations, and the level of social networking with other firms. The EO and technological performance relationships are also hypothesized. Data from a total of 121 spin-off organizations were collected and a series of multiple regressions were performed. The performance variable included both technological performance, such as the number of newly marketed products and new technology and subjective performance, such as the level of satisfaction with sales amount and profitability. Several important conclusions were drawn from this study. First, while government policy is not related to EO, the policy of a university or a research institute has a significant effect on the level of innovativeness. Second, a high percentage of human resources applied at the incubating organization results in a negative effect on risk taking. The level of cooperation with the incubating organization too is not related to Entrepreneurial Orientation. Third, the intensity of cooperative networking with other firms has a significant effect on risk-taking. Network relationship with government related organizations is not related to Entrepreneurial Orientation. This study analyzes the importance and role of policy of the university and research institute and networking with other firms to improve EO. It also suggests that a high composition of human resources at the incubating organization has a negative relationship with EO.

This research is about spawning behavior and morphological development of the eggs and larvae of fringed blenny which lives in Korean sea. It helps to find out the relation between fringed blenny larvae and other stichaeidae larva. Moreover, it is going to use for the basic data of taxonomical research. There were 8 mother fishes (total length 31.8~34.0 cm, average $32.9{\pm}0.21cm$), which were captured from the cost of Sindeok-dong, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do from December, 2010. we used trap to capture them. Mother fishes were brought to glass aquarium ($50{\times}30{\times}35cm$) and nurtured with recirculate rearing system. Breeding water temperature was $12.3{\sim}15.8^{\circ}C$ (average $14.1{\pm}2.47$) and salinity was 32.5~33.5‰ (average $33.0{\pm}0.05$‰). fertilized egg was round, opaque demersal egg. The size was 1.81~2.19 mm (average $2.00{\pm}0.27mm$, n=50). Incubation was begun after 271 hours and 30 minutes from fertilization. It started with piercing the egg membrane. prelarvae had length of 8.45~8.84 mm (average $8.65{\pm}0.28mm$, n=5) right after the incubation, and both mouth and anus were opened. After 11 days from the incubation, postlarvae had length of 10.5~11.3 mm (average $10.9{\pm}0.57mm$), and the number of myotomes was increased to 66.

The spray method was chiefly used to prepare alginate microspheres. Additionally due to formation at mild conditions, the alginate microspheres were coated with chitosan. The particle size of alginate microspheres increased when the sodium alginate increased. Release pattern of OVA in alginate microspheres was evaluated at PBS buffer(pH 7.4) and HCl buffer(pH 1.2). Release rate of OVA from chitosan/alginate microsphere was also lower than that with the concentration of alginate in the microspheres, the amount of OVA released from alginate microspheres increased from alginate micorsphere. Therefore, the alginate microspheres can be prepared by spray rozzle for a protein drug delivery. OVA release from the alginate microspheres was controlled by a coating with chitosan.
Modern company faces an uncertain future and a competitive environment and are seeking new technologies and creative products to ensure the corporate growth and survival in the market through continuous innovation. "University Industry Cooperation(UIC)" is a point of contact for overcoming the crisis faced by companies and universities in this era and a cooperation platform for mutual prosperity. As a subsidiary of a university, "Technology Holding Company(THC)" is attracting attention as a new window for UIC in Korea. The role of THC is to establish and foster the business opportunities of their subsidiaries and to return investment profits to the university ecosystem again. But recently, the life cycle of technology is getting shorter, and the development cost is steadily increasing. In particular, with the increase of hybrid projects based on convergence and combination, the risk of conducting research(R&D) and new product development(NPD) projects is gradually increasing. A PMO refers to a project management organization that can contribute to improving the success rate of projects with increasing uncertainty by supporting project visibility and appropriate decision-making. The purpose of this study is to raise a research question on whether THC's corporate performance can be improved when "Project Management System(PMO Service)" is introduced into the subsidiary incubation system of THC. This study proposes several research methods to identify the relationship between the introduction of PMO and the corporate performance of THC.
The aim of this study was to prepare a hydrogels composed of alginate blended with a carboxymethyl scleroglucan (CMSC) and evaluate the feasibility of the hydrogels as a drug delivery system for a protein. The main advantage of the alginate/CMSC hydrogels is to improve a restricted drug release from alginate hydrogels. The CMSC was chemically synthesized with chloroacetic acid and confirmed using a FT-IR. The alginate/CMSC hydrogels were prepared at distinct compositions by crosslinking with calcium ions. The swelling ratios of these hydrogels increased significantly with increasing the content of CMSC. At pH 7.4, the swelling ratios of the hydrogels increased remarkably as compared to those at pH 1.2. In ovalbumin (OVA) release test, the amount of OVA released from the hydrogels showed higher as compared to those released at pH 1.2. In addition, the release of OVA was improved with increasing the content of CMSC. Thus, the alginate/CMSC hydrogels may be used as a potential system for oral delivery of protein drugs.
