Huge amount of useful information is getting added to the academic digital world everyday, This digitalized information is heterogeneous and remained limited to a local domain only. How to integrate and share this scattered knowledge with simplicity remained a big challenge. In this paper, we propose a prototype of web application for accomplishing above task using web 2.0 features; it makes traditional academic digital libraries to form as a special case of collaborative environment. This application enables users to customize their own resources to form their own virtual digital library. Further users can utilize personalized information of other users working in similar research domain to form true collaborative environment. The model and framework for the new look of academic digital library is presented.

Cyber education has been predicted that it would become the primary education system of 21st century as a way of education focusing on consumers, with the aspect that it seems to be able to satisfy the demand about re-education and lifelong education as the acceleration of fast knowledge accumulation throughout every field of society in the digital era. However, cyber education system has a lot of problems which are for that it lacks of human resources for effective interaction, and it can be disadvantageous to certain type of students with a class environment concentrated on reading and writing and with foundation on computer technology. Therefore, in this thesis, We intended to analyze factors influencing satisfaction of people studying in a situation that cyber education has been required to be a mainstream system of education in the midst of trend of changing paradigm of college education recently, and to suggest some possible solutions for cyber education at university.

Unstructured peer-to-peer (p2p) networks usually employ flooding search algorithms to locate resources. However, these algorithms often require a large storage overhead or generate massive network traffic. To address this issue, previous researchers explored the possibility of building efficient p2p networks by clustering peers into communities based on their social relationships, creating social-like p2p networks. This study proposes a social relationship p2p network that uses a measure based on Hebbian theory to create a social relation weight. The contribution of the study is twofold. First, using the social relation weight, the query peer stores and searches for the appropriate response peers in social-like p2p networks. Second, this study designs a novel knowledge index mechanism that dynamically adapts social relationship p2p networks. The results show that the proposed social relationship p2p network improves search performance significantly, compared with existing approaches.

This paper is devoted to evaluate the effect of bilingual mathematics learning of Mongolian students in the primary school of Inner Mongolia. The study used tests and examined 305 Mongolian students' math achievement from Mongolian school and 277 Mongolian students from Mongolian and Han mixed school, at the same time 301 students from Guangxi regular primary school for comparison. Multivariate statistical analysis shows that there is no significant difference between these students. The results showed that the implementation of bilingual mathematics education in Inner Mongolia have achieved the desired effect. The reasons leading to the observed results are analyzed. There is a long history of bilingual education in Inner Mongolia, so the bilingual education system is complete, and the bilingual teaching resources are relatively abundant, especially the mathematics term translation between Mongolian and Chinese is standardized and unified.

Internet development requires the evaluation of secure Internet service quality. This study evaluated public Internet service quality categories and items based on the eQual program developed by Barnes & Vidgen (2006). Using a questionnaire designed to test Internet service qualities for public websites designed by The Knowledge and Information Resources Management Project, we examined 707 users and then measured the effects of service quality factors on customer satisfaction. In conclusion, we found that information quality, usability, and service interaction had a positive effect on customer satisfaction.

This research note probes the largely ignored sphere of smart tourism curriculum as destinations and institutions seek to develop graduates ready to embrace the demands and challenges of future work environments where technology has a ubiquitous presence. This knowledge gap is somewhat surprising, even as destinations progress towards smart tourism futures, without necessarily clarifying what human resources need to possess in the coming decades. Drawing from available smart tourism curriculum across the globe, and emergent trends associated with Generation Alpha and Beta, this research note paints a timely picture of how smart tourism curriculum should be designed and developed to meet the needs of industry and consumer demands and expectations.

This study aims to investigate the influence of online entrepreneurship education on first-time entrepreneurs in western China. The research employed an online self-management survey method to collect data from participants involved in online entrepreneurship education and first-time entrepreneurs. The data was analyzed using SPSS and AMOS statistical software. The research findings indicate that online entrepreneurship education has a positive impact on entrepreneurial intention. There is a positive correlation between online entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial execution capability. Entrepreneurial intention effectively promotes entrepreneurial execution capability, which is critical for successful entrepreneurship. Online entrepreneurship education also emphasizes the development of innovative abilities and thinking patterns, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of entrepreneurs. Additionally, entrepreneurial support plays a direct positive role in entrepreneurial success by providing resources, guidance, knowledge sharing, and confidence, thereby increasing the likelihood of success.

This research paper delved into the availability and utilization of library portal services for research in university libraries in Nigeria. Two research questions and two null hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The study was carried out in Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) and Felix Aghagbo Nwako Library, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Library (UNIZIK), Awka. A total of 70 professionals (librarians and system analysts) in these libraries supplied data for the study. Data collected was analyzed using mean and standard deviation. These were used to answer the research questions while the null hypotheses were tested using t-test statistic at 0.05 level of significance and 68 degree of freedom. Major findings showed that portal services available in the library showed that the areas of availability of library portal services in Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, U.N.N. includes Agriculture, Health Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Sciences and information about institution, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Natural Sciences. In Festus Aghagbo Nwako Library, Awka, the areas of Portal Library Services include Career Development, Federal Government Programs, Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Engineering, and Health Sciences. Findings on extent of utilization of portal services available in the libraries indicated that portal services are utilized to a low extent in the university libraries. Furthermore, librarians did not significantly differ in their opinions on the availability of library portal services and on the extent of utilization of library portal services in the libraries under study. It is therefore recommended that provisions should be made by the universities and library management to provide and update required portal services in addition to creating enabling environment for enhanced access and utilization of these services. The governments must make an effort to provide funds for policy implementation, necessary technology training for librarians and users, and develop general information infrastructure.

As interoperability between systems in distributed environment has been important, it has been possible for various organizations to share resources and exchange relevant information. However, semantic heterogeneity between the systems and organizations causes the problem of making their interoperability impossible. Thereby, in this paper, we propose an ontology matching-based knowledge management system which can automatically discover semantic correspondences between ontologies. Moreover, even though there have been many existing ontology matchers, it is still difficult to directly apply them to the proposed system. To deal with the problems, we want to discover matching patterns (MP) which they discover from two given ontologies.

Nowadays research collaboration between the business, academic and governmental community is high on the policy agenda in all over the world, especially with regard to science-based technological innovation. The aim of this paper is to explore some of the changing spatial patterns of research collaboration by carrying out bibliometric analysis of co-authorship publications in major international and scientific journals that are jointly realized by Korean scientists and researchers in the seven science-based technologies for the period 2002~2012. Using the co-authored papers as an indicator of research collaboration with the institutional address of each co-authoring researcher and the geographic location of their affiliation, this paper describes some trends and patterns of domestic and international research collaborations. Identifying a rapid increase in the volume of co-authored papers and the trend towards multiple authorships over the last decade, the paper finds collaborative scientific research to be geographically dispersed at the different spatial scales. Despite the rising geographic dispersion of research collaboration within the nation, this paper finds that there were empirical evidences for the presence of localized knowledge production processes at regional level, and biased knowledge flows towards core areas with advanced research resources.
