  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the aviation industry is also growing remarkably with the development of artificial intelligence and networks, so it is necessary to study a new concept of crew resource management (CRM), which is required in the process of operating state-of-the-art equipment. The automation system, which has been treated only as a tool, is changing its role as a decision-making agent with the development of artificial intelligence, and it is necessary to set clear standards for the role and responsibility in the safety-critical field. We present a new perspective on the automation system in the CRM program through the understanding of the autonomous system. In the future, autonomous system will develop as an agent for human pilots to cooperate, and accordingly, changes in role division and reorganization of regulations are required.

  • The story of Lizzie Borden has served as a creative impetus in the American imagination; following the hundred years after the Borden murders, a remarkable body of creative work has been produced. Ann Schofield asserts that the Borden story has become an "ur-text for the contemplation of power, of patriarchy, [and] of sexuality" (92). In reading Mary Wilkins Freeman's "The Long Arm" (1895), this essay re-considers Schofield's claim that the Borden story and its subsequent renditions enable a revisionary take on female subjectivity and resistance to patriarchal order. More specifically, this essay examines how Freeman's text (one of the first to fictionalize the saga of Lizzie Borden) reflects back the gendered subjectivity in the in the gothic mirror for us to consider whether that reflection began as an image of subjection or that of autonomy.

  • This study examines the main elements, concepts, and directions of 'cultural accessibility' in the field of cultural arts education through the French case. Above all, 'cultural accessibility' is viewed from the perspective of the problems of 'social exclusion' and the corresponding 'participation'. We discuss strategies for applying 'cultural accessibility' through French policy discussions. France is implementing this consistent policy structure through the development of its local self-government system. We first look at the current status of French cultural policy and cultural accessibility, and the participation. Next, we will discuss separately into the cultural arts education of the central government and those of local governments. For application to Korea, we propose the application of education to apply 'culture of public values', the establishment of autonomy in cultural arts education, and the application of a dual strategy for public advocacy.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of pay satisfaction of dental employees. The questionnaire used in this study consists of personal characteristics, characteristics of workplace, administration of pay, Pay satisfaction questionnaire (PSQ). PSQ was translated, and backward translation into korean was implemented. A pilot test was conducted with 25 dental employees to complete the questionnaire. Survey was conducted from February to July in 2015, receiving 323 valid responses. Anova or t-test was conducted with categorized characteristics, by calculating pay satisfaction scores. Principal factor analysis which is an exploratory factor analysis was conducted to investigate the consistency of pay satisfaction. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to investigate how much effect the variables have on pay satisfaction. The result of principal factor analysis showed that pay satisfaction consists of 3 factors which are 'paying system', 'pay level', 'benefits'. 'Pay raise' which was one of 4 factors of original PSQ was not the factor of pay satisfaction of dental employees. The result of analysis of characteristics showed that the scores of paying system between dental clinic and dental hospital had significant difference. The result of multiple regression analysis showed tendencies pay satisfaction increases when age and monthly income increases and whole career and the number of unit chairs decreases. Increasing the autonomy of employees and simplification of paying system would improve pay satisfaction efficiently. When age increases, the pay level increases because of the seniority-based pay structure, and this leads to the higher satisfaction. The higher amount of pay leads to higher satisfaction. The expectation over pay increases relatively higher than the increase of pay level and this leads to the less satisfaction. When the number of unit chairs is fewer, the workplace is smaller, so the employees have more autonomy, and this leads to higher satisfaction.

  • This study investigates the moderating effects of corporate mentoring on the relationship between entrepreneurship and start-up satisfaction. The research was designed to examine a direct relationship between the entrepreneurship on the start-up satisfaction. In addition, indirect impacts of corporate mentoring on the relationship between entrepreneurship and start-up satisfaction. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires through e-mail or direct visit to the participating companies in the Start-up Leading University Project, college start-up clubs, companies in university business incubating centers, and general entrepreneurs in Busan and Gyeongnam areas. Empirical data was then analyzed using the SPSS 18.0 statistical program. The results reveal that such categories as innovation and autonomy in entrepreneurship have a direct positive effect on entrepreneurial satisfaction and the corporate mentoring has a moderating effect only when autonomy has a direct positive effect on start-up satisfaction. It is implied that an improvement of start-up satisfaction may be attained only when mentoring programs are well accepted by entrepreneurs and their workers while working in a free and autonomous environment with a flexible corporate culture. This study may provide the theoretical and practical implications for start-up support organizations such as start-up support groups of Start-Up Leading University Project.

Therefore, the purpose of this study is to define each stakeholders' recognition difference about value and conflict of Mt. Jiri National Park and find the possibility of creating agreement point for solving conflict. For the purpose, the study performs factor analysis on the value of national park and conflict factor and abbreviates them to 4 factors respectively. The study classifies and compares the recognition difference among the stakeholders with t-test and Duncan multiple comparison. The result of this study is that village residents, Korea Forest Service and local autonomy share the same recognition about the value of national park but National Park has different recognition. Regarding the conflict, National Park, Korea Forest Service and local autonomy share the same recognition but village residents have different recognition. Regarding the organization of conference as a direction to solve conflict and its reason, all of the stakeholders share the same recognition. • The purpose of this study is to review person-centered care models and the scientific evidence for the impact of person-centered care in U.S. nursing homes, and to analyze the applicability of person-centered care for Korean long-term care system. The most commonly recognized person-centered care models were Eden Alternative, Green House, and Wellspring model. The core components of the three models were autonomy, close relationships, homelike environment, and staff empowerment. Thirty eight empirical studies including 10 model testing studies and 28 studies to examine the impact of person-centered care interventions indicated generally positive outcomes in terms of residents, family, and staff/organization level. The authors analyzed the current situation in the Korean long-term care system with respect to the specific core constructs of person-centered care, and proposed applicable models and practical suggestions in consideration of Korean context. Lastly, future considerations regarding policy and research were discussed.

  • The core of the university policy pursued by the Moon Jae-in administration is to strengthen university competencies through the diagnosis of universities. To this end, the word structural reform evaluation is changed to strengthening the basic competencies of universities, and is trying to escape from the past reduction of pro-class capacity. Deputy Prime Minister Kim Sang-gon insisted, "We will improve the university structure evaluation, which is biased toward quantitative quota adjustment, with a diagnosis of basic university competency to support the autonomous development of the university." The Ministry of Education expressed its intention to strengthen the capacity of local universities by saying that it would also consider regional conditions in reducing the university quota due to the decrease in the school-age population so far. In the meantime, as the school-age population declined, the Ministry of Education promoted the reform of the university structure by dividing it into three cycles from 2014. This paper focuses on the problems of diagnosis of education reform and improvement measures, and tries to find out what is the desirable direction for education innovation. This paper studied the structural reform of universities following the decline of local universities. The policy alternatives in this paper are as follows. First, the contents of the government's push for university structural reform were analyzed. Second, we considered the problems of university structural reform. Third, they sought ways to develop local universities and enhance their competitiveness.
