Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of increase in barbell weight on closely related variable to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury which are knee joint kinematics, joint load, joint moment, and maximum load attainment point during snatch of the weight lifting. Method: The subjects of the study were 10 male Korean national weight lifting athletes (69 kg 5, 77 kg 5; age: $21.80{\pm}3.91yrs.$, height: $168.00{\pm}4.06cm$, weight: $75.00{\pm}4.02kg$, career: $7.8{\pm}3.99yrs.$, snatch records: $168{\pm}4.06kg$). The weight of the barbell during the snatch operation was set at 70%, 75% and 80% of the highest records for each subject studied. Results: The result obtained from the one-way repeated measure ANOVA are as follows: With increased barbell weight, the extension moment of the left knee joint was higher in the 80% condition than the 70% (p<.001). However, other variables were not statistically significant difference. According to the factor analysis of the variables related to maximum load attainment point of the ACL major injury variables, the first sub-factor was the internal shear force, the posterior shear force, the abduction moment, and the muscle activity of the VL. The second sub-factor was the extension moment of the knee joint, compressive force, adduction moment, and the third sub-factor was the muscle activity of BF. Conclusion: These results indicate that the possibility of ACL injury can be lowered when performing a stable snatch movement.
Objective: It is to extract training items that have a high relationship with the improvement of weightlifting records through correlation and regression analysis between training methods used commonly in the field and Snatch records and jerk records. Through this, it is intended to promote training efficiency to improve the records of weightlifters. Method: For 90 elite weightlifters of the professional teams, 4 groups (lightweight (30 people): 61 kg, 67 kg, 73 kg., middleweight (30 people): 81 kg, 89 kg, 96 kg., heavyweight (30 people): 102 kg, 109 kg, +109 kg., the whole group (90 people)) were divided. At the significance level of 0.05, correlation analysis and linear regression analysis were performed between record of training methods used widely in the field and Snatch records and Jerk records. Results: First, the better the record in Jerk, the better the Snatch record. Second, the three training methods HS, ForceS and WP performed in the field were all found to be important factors related to the improvement of Snatch record. Third, In the jerk where there are more types of training than Snatch, three training methods (HC, ForceS, BPP) appeared to be an important training method for improving the jerk record. Conclusion: While many training methods have been devised and carried out in the field, 3 types of training (HS, ForceS, WP) for improving Snatch record and 3 types of training (HC, ForceS, BPP) for improving Jerk record was found to be the most influential training method. Since all of them showed a large value of explanatory power by regression analysis, it is considered that this study is meaningful in that it can promote training efficiency by simplifying although there are many types of training for athletes.
Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the swing and aerial motion of Kovacs, and evaluate the skill level of Kovacs by Korean adult players on horizontal bar. Method: The subjects for this study were 6 male top athletes participated in the 46th National Gymnastics against Cities and Provinces. After the motions of Kovacs were filmed by digital highspeed camcorder setting in 90 frames/s, kinematical data were calculated through DLT method. The variables were computed in the lapse time, the joint angle, the position·velocity of body COG, the inferred tension force of bar, and body COG path were simulated according to skill level of Kovacs. Results: Firstly, it was revealed that the lapse time was 1.19±0.03 s in the swing phase, and 0.83±0.03 s in the aerial phase. Secondly, it was revealed that the shoulder·hip joint motions of S1 and S2 were better than the other subjects in the swing phase, and the knee joint motions of S1 and S2 were better than the other subjects in the aerial phase. Thirdly, it was revealed that the horizontal·vertical velocity of body COG were -1.40±0.03 m/s, 3.80±0.07 m/s respectively, and the vertical positions of S1 and S2 were higher a little than the other subjects. Lastly, the skill level of Kovacs of this subjects was evaluated into 3 steps; excellent, advanced, normal. They need to train the swing motion including a giant circle, and body motions in the air. Conclusion: It would be suggested that Korean domestic players should improve to increase the vertical velocity at release instant and train to control the limbs elaborately in the air.
It is a complex project to construct the standard system of sports events. Sports events standard system covers from the implementation plan to the evaluation work after the smooth implementation of sports events, involving many links. Large-scale sports events have extremely high media value. However, the successful organization and operation of large-scale sports events face many problems to be overcome, especially in terms of event safety. Although the organizers and organizers of large-scale events have invested many resources for the safe holding of sports events, violence similar to "football hooligans" in Europe is endless. At present, compared with Western countries, the standardization of sports events in China is low, and there is a problem of a late start and huge difference with Western developed countries. Knowing the construction of the standardization system's situation in China, we have summarized the data related to 15 sports events held in Chengdu is the last 5 years. By analyzing the problems in the process of holding these 15 events and the reflections of participants on the experience of sports events, the problems in the development of the standard system of sports events are discussed in depth. The final conclusion is that the system structure of China's sports events is not so good and athletes have a poor experience. China's sports event system still has many problems. Finally, we built a sports event standardization model using Internet of Things, and after a practical test we found that it has a good effect. Finally, we combined the current situation of sports event standardization system in China and put forward the following suggestions: laws and regulations related to the standard system of sports events must be formulated at the national level. The implementation level must strengthen the degree of integration of sports events and technology. To improve the quality of human resources in the management of sports events. The article puts forward targeted solutions, which play a great role in promoting the perfection and completeness of China's standard system for sports events. At the same time, it also promotes economic development and improves China's international status.
To determine the incidence rate of school accidents and its associated factors, a cohort observation was carried out in a boys' high school of a total of 2,324 students for an academic year from March 1986 to February 1987. Data for accidents were collected by the author (school nurse) as students came to the school health station for treatment of accidental injury. Data for school activities were obtained from the diary of academic affairs. A total of 603 students made 1,126 visits to the station for accidental injury during the study period that gave an average 1.9 accidents per student. The average number of visits for accidental injury per day was 5.1 and the incidence rate of accidental injury was 2.2 per 1,000 student days. Each class had about 30 accidents on the average in a year. However there were two classes that had exceptionally high incidence rate of accidents; 54 accidents in one class where 10 athletes were assigned and 58 accidents in the other class where the teacher in charge was On vacation for two months. The highest incidence rate of accident was observed in June (3.4 per 1,000 student days) and the lowest rates were in December and February (1.5 and 0.7 per 1,000 student days, respectively) and there were no appreciable difference by day of week. Accidents were caused by mischief or carelessness of students in 62.2% and by the inappropriate tools and facilities of school in 18.6% . The accidents caused by tools and facilities were mainly due to the antiquated chairs and tables. Referral rate to hospital for severe injury was three times higher in cloudy days and five times higher in rainy days than in clear days. There was almost no accident during the examination period but increased after the examination. Based on these findings, following measures are recommended to prevent school accident: disperse the athletes throughout the classes: should the teacher in charge leave the class for a long period, replace with another teacher who is familiar with the class to keep order; replace or repair the inappropriate tools and facilities; and warn the students for the risk of accident or broadcast music or let the students have light physical exercise to relieve the tension in cloudy or rainy day and after examination.
While swimming is a very popular competitive sports activity, swimming injuries are unique due to the repetitive nature of the swimming stroke and demanding training programs that can result in upper limb overuse. Therefore, the primary objective of this review was to analyze swimmers' injury areas, injury types by stroke type, and swimming rehabilitation, as well as to discuss safety management for improving swimming performance. In this study, the injuries incurred in swimming events were discussed in the order of upper limb injuries (neck, shoulder, arm, and wrist), lower limb injuries (knee and ankle), and waist injuries. An analysis by stroke type found that shoulder injuries occurred most often with freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly strokes, followed by rotator cuff injury, impingement syndrome, and SLAP (superior labral tear from anterior to posterior) lesions. Knee injuries were associated with the breaststroke, whereas spinal cord injuries occurred with the breaststroke and butterfly stroke. Finally, back injuries were associated with the butterfly stroke. During the freestyle stroke, the shoulder undergoes repetitive overhead movement; hence, shoulder and musculoskeletal pain are the most common and well-documented complaints of swimmers. For safety management, coaches and instructors must ensure that athletes do sufficient warm-up and cool-down exercises to avoid injuries. In case of an injury, they should be familiar with first aid measures so that secondary damage can be prevented with its quick application. In addition, coaches and instructors need to be trained in injury prevention and treatment so that they can provide appropriate rehabilitation treatment for athletes. Although swimming-related injuries cannot be completely eliminated, to reduce them to a minimum, leaders need the knowledge to apply scientific and systematic training principles and methods individualized for each athlete.

The objective of research was to explore the effects of Kinesic taping treatment on Kayaker's athletic performance and muscle fatigue variable. In order to accomplish such study objective, this study employed 8 ordinary university students and 8 university kayaker's as study subjects. The athletic performance records and blood lactate were analyzed before and after Kinesic taping treatment (KTT). Kinesic taping treatment was applied to the regions of agonist such as vastus medialis muscle, Latissimus dorsi muscle, Trapezius muscle, Biceps brachii muscle, and Triceps brachii muscle, which are major muscles for Kayaker's. Records for rest heart rate, athletic performance and blood lactate were measured upon 200m and 500m distance exercise using kayak ergometer. Data were analyzed by SPSS 19.0 using paired t-test and one-way repeated ANOVA at significant level of a = .05. First, performance records of 200m paddling kayak showed that the ordinary university students had a mean score of 60.13 second before and 58.75 second after kinesic taping treatment. University kayakers had a mean score of 58.75 second before and 53.0 second after kinesic taping treatment. Both groups had significant differences between before and after KTT in the athletic performance. In addition, levels of blood lactate showed that the ordinary university students had a mean score of 5.89mM before and 8.90mM after KTT and university kayaker's had a mean score of 5.79mM before and 8.48mM after KTT. The ANOVA showed that the level of ordinary university students' blood lactate was significantly higher than university kayakers only after KTT. Second, performance records of 500m paddling kayak showed that the ordinary university students had a mean score of 2.90 minute before and 2.77 minute after KTT and university kayaker's had a mean score of 2.30 minute before and 2.20 minute after KTT. Both groups had significant differences between before and after KTT in the athletic performance. Moreover, only university kayaker's had a significantly higher performance record than the counterpart. Levels of blood lactate showed that the ordinary university students had a mean score of 7.71mM before and 8.85mM after KTT and university kayakers had a mean score of 8.09mM before and 8.45mM after KTT. However, such a level of increase had no significant difference between the groups
Purpose: This study was to examine the differences in muscle activities for some muscles of the legs used in a broad jump after applying tape to healthy people. The purpose of this study was to improve the exercising ability of patients and athletes during the rehabilitation training. Design: Randomized Controlled Trial. Methods: The experimental group was attached with the Kinesio tape on Rectus femoris, Biceps femoris and Gastrocnemius. Before doing broad jumping, they had stretching with the following order. And we measured broad jumps five times. We gave the rest period between trials. After every trial was measured, they were performed to cool-down exercise with the same way of warm-up exercise. And the control group did the same exercises as the experimental group except for attaching the Kinesio tape on muscles. Results: The results of Rectus femoris, Biceps femoris and Gastrocnemius activities according to tape application of femoris muscle were significantly increased (p<.05) compared to untreated group. Conclusion: Therefore, Kinesio tape has an effect on the improvement of the broad jump recorded by affecting the increase in muscle activities.

This study attempted to illustrate in-depth light on the process of experiencing the campus life of university life of students specialized in golf who are forming new exercise culture in a transitional state students based on the grounded approach. For this, it selected 10 athletic students as research participants majoring in golf in A University in Chungcheong-do and collected data through in-depth interviews. As for the data analysis, the coding paradigm was composed to derive concepts and clarify the relations between concepts according to the grounded theoretical analysis suggested by Strauss and Corbin (1990), and the research results are as follows: First, 117 concepts, 16 subcategories, and 10 upper categories were deducted in the open coding. Second, the causal conditions were categorized into "University Life of Contactless Classes," contextual elements into "Practical Exercise," and "Participation in Classes," and the central phenomenon was regarded as the "Meaning of University Life as a University Athletic Student (golf)." As a result of reviewing the process of exercise and study at the same time, the conditions of arbitration were summarized as "Relation Formation" and "Ability Improvement," and the action/interaction strategies were categorized as "Academic Research" and "Negative Thinking," and at last, the results were composed of "Looking Back at the Past University Life," "Identity," and "Future Design." Based on these research results, the model of doing exercise and study at the same time of the university athletic students (golf) was categorized by the grounded theoretical paradigm procedure, and the university athletic students (golf) continued their university life without rest as their exercise life was influenced positively by academic life, and in addition, policy implications for enhancing the competency of student athletes who can encompass both exercise and study were presented.

Background: The conventional deadlift is a popular exercise for enhancing trunk, core, and lower extremity strength. However, its use in sports medicine is constrained by concerns of lumbar injuries, despite evidence supporting its safety and rehabilitative benefits. To optimize muscle activation using resistive bands in variable resistance therapy, we explored their feasibility in the deadlift. Design: Comparative experimental design Methods: Surface electromyography recorded muscle activity in the trunk and lower extremities during lifting, with normalization to the isometric Floor Lift using Maximal Voluntary Contraction. Kinematics were measured using inclinometer sensors to track hip and trunk sagittal plane angles. To prevent fatigue, each subject only used one of the three pairs of bands employed in the study. Results: Our study involved 45 healthy subjects (mean age: 30.4 ± 6.3 years) with similar baseline characteristics, except for years of lifting and strength-to-years-of-lifting ratio. Various resistance band groups exhibited significantly higher muscle activity than conventional deadlifts during different phases. The minimal resistance band group had notably higher muscle activity in the trunk, core, and lower extremity muscles, particularly in the end phase. The moderate resistance band group showed increased muscle activity in the mid-and end-phases. The maximum resistance band group demonstrated greater muscle activity in specific muscles during the early phase and overall higher activity in all trunk and lower extremity muscles in the mid and end phases of the deadlift (p<0.05). Conclusion: Our findings provide valuable insights into muscle activation with various resistance bands during deadlift exercise in clinical and gym settings. There appears to be a dose-response relationship between increased resistance bandwidth, external load, myoelectric activation, and range.
