  • This paper investigates the portfolio selection problem with flexible labor choice and stochastic income flow where the unit wage flow is governed by a stochastic process. The agent optimally chooses consumption, investment, and labor supply. We derive the closed-form solution by applying a martingale method even with the stochastic income flow.

  • 해상 감시용 Multi Sensor 및 IFOG 개발을 위하여 주 야간 겸용 감시카메라의 통합 개발과 시스템 Control Unit 설계 및 항해 장비 연동 시스템 제작하였다. 선박 통합 시스템의 Control Unit의 분석은 Control Unit에 연결 가능한 항해 장비 리스트를 선별하는 것으로 시작 하였다. 항해 장비 리스트를 선별한 후 각 항해 장비의 용도와 특성, 연결 방법, 통신 방법, 데이터 종류에 따라 Control Unit와 항해 장비간의 데이터 방향성, 데이터 종류들을 선별하여 그 성능을 보여주었다.

다중회귀모형에서 전진선택과 후진제거의 기하학적 표현 (Geometrical description based on forward selection & backward elimination methods for regression models)

  • 다중회귀모형에서 변수선택법 중에서 전진선택과 후진제거의 과정을 기하학적으로 표현하는 그래픽적 방법을 제안한다. 반지름이 1인 반원의 제1사분면에는 전진선택 과정을, 제2사분면에는 후진제거 과정을 표현한다. 각 단계에서 회귀제곱합을 벡터로 표현하고, 추가제곱합 또는 부분결정계수를 벡터 사이의 각도로 나타내며 벡터의 끝을 연결할 때 통계적으로 유의하면 점선으로 표현하여 부분가설검정의 통계적 분석결과를 인지할 수 있도록 작성한다. 이 방법을 이용하면 전진선택과 후진제거 방법에 의한 최종모형을 비교 분석하고 전체적으로 모형의 적합도를 파악할 수 있다.

Performance Analysis Based on RAU Selection and Cooperation in Distributed Antenna Systems

  • In this paper, the downlink performance of multi-cell distributed antenna systems (DAS) with a single user in each cell is investigated. Assuming the channel state information is available at the transmitter, four transmission modes are formulated as combinations of remote antenna units (RAUs) selection and cooperative transmission, namely, non-cooperative transmission without RAU selection (NCT), cooperative transmission without RAU selection (CT), non-cooperative transmission with RAU selection (NCT_RAUS), and cooperative transmission with RAU selection (CT_RAUS). By using probability theory, the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of a user's signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) and the system ergodic capacity under the above four modes are determined, and their closed-form expressions are obtained. Furthermore, the system energy efficiency (EE) is studied by introducing a realistic power consumption model of DAS. An expression for determining EE is formulated, and the closed-form tradeoff relationship between spectral efficiency (SE) and EE is derived as well. Simulation results demonstrate their consistency with the theoretical analysis and reveal the factors constraining system EE, which provide a scientific basis for future design and optimization of DAS.

  • We have designed the power control unit which belongs to the power cabinet and controls the power supplied to Control Rod Drive Mechanism(CRDM) as a digital system based on Digital Signal Processor(DSP). The power control unit dualized as the form of Master/Slave has had its increased reality. The Central Process Unit(CPU) board of a power control unit possesses two Digital Signal Processors(DSPs) of the control DSP for performing the tasks of power control and system monitoring and the communication of the Control DSP and the Communication DSP. To accomplish the functions requested in the power control unit effectively, we have installed Field Programmable Gate Arrays(FPGAS) on the CPU board and have FPGAs perform the memory mapping, the generation of each chip selection signal, the giving and receiving of the signals between the power controllers dualized, the fault detection and the generation of the firing signals.

Analysis of Receiving Strength according to the Attachment Location of RFID tag in Palletized Unit-load of Agricultural Products

  • This study was conducted as a basic study for the selection of tags suitable for logistics management in the palletized unit-load unit and the development of various technologies to activate the palletized unit-load shipment of agricultural products through local APCs. Three types of passive RFID tags of UHF 900 MHz and one type of active RFID tag of 2.4 GHz band designed and manufactured through this study were used to analyze the receiving strength according to the tag's attachment location and distance of the palletized unit-load of agricultural products. In the passive RFID tag, there was a large difference in receiving strength by the tag's attachment location and a large amount of data loss depending on the distance within 30 m, whereas, in the active RFID tag, it was superior to the passive tags in terms of both receiving strength and data loss. Therefore, active tags are desirable from the perspective of multiple identification of warehouses with large spaces in relation to the application of RFID tags for palletized unit-loads of agricultural products, but the development of low-power technologies such as software wakeup power management as well as hardware to minimize battery power consumption is necessary.

  • Water quality management should be focused on the pollution concentrated area so that the improvement of water quality can be achieved effectively for the management of Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). It is necessary to consider discharge characteristics in the TMDL plan. This study analysed discharge characteristics such as pollution generation and discharge load density, and reduction potential by each unit watershed, and categorized the unit watershed into four groups according to its discharge load characteristics. This analysis can be used as helpful information for the prioritization of pollution reduction area and selection of pollution reduction measures in the development of TMDL plans.

  • 군용 항공기 탑재 무장제어장치는 무장관리시스템의 핵심장비로 조종사의 무장선택, 항공기 상태 및 외부 장착물 장착 상태 등에 따라 선택투하, 비상 투하 및 로켓발사 신호를 생성하여 외부 장착물을 제어한다. 본 논문은 순차 제어회로 설계기법을 이용하여 개발된 무장제어장치의 설계과정 및 성능검증에 대해 기술한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 선박용 관성측정장치(Inertial Measurement Unit, IMU) 개발에 적합한 MEMS(Micro-Electro Mechanical System) 기반의 관성 센서 평가와 선정에 관하여 기술했다. 먼저, 오일러 공식에 기초한 관성 센서의 오차 모델과 잡음 모델을 정의하고, 앨런 분산(Allan Variance) 기법과 몬테카르로(Monte Carlo) 시뮬레이션 기법을 도입하여 관성 센서를 평가하였다. ADIS16405, SAR10Z, SAR100Grade100, LIS344ALH, ADXL103 등 다섯 가지 관성 센서에 대한 평가결과, ADIS16405의 자이로와 가속도계를 조합한 경우 오차가 가장 작게 나타났는데, 600 초 경과시 속도 오차의 표준편차가 약 160 m/s, 위치 오차의 표준편차가 약 35 km로 나타났다. 평가를 통해 ADIS16405 관성 센서가 IMU 구축에 최적임을 알았고, 이러한 오차 감소 방법에 대해서 참고문헌을 조사하여 검토하였다.

Design and Implementation of Green Coastal Lighting System for Entrance to Coastal Pier

  • The hardware of an LED lighting control system for coastal lighting at coastal pier entrance consists of a power supply unit, an AVR control unit, a CLCD output unit, an LED control unit, a scenario selection switch unit, and an operation speed display unit. It is made of an 8-channel. The CPU used ATmega128 and the FET was used to control the current signal. To operate the CPU, DC 12V was converted to DC 5V using a regulator 7805. A heat sink was used to remove heat generated in the FET. By connecting the load LED module to the manufactured 8-channel LED lighting control system, the operation was confirmed through various production scenarios. In addition, a control system was designed to show the most suitable color for the atmosphere of the coastal pier according to the input value of temperature and illumination using a fuzzy control system. Computer simulation was then conducted. Results confirmed that fuzzy control did not need to store many data inputs due to characteristics of artificial intelligence and that it could efficiently represent many output values with simple fuzzy rules.
