Perceptional Change of a New Product, DMB Phone

  • Digital Convergence means integration between industry, technology, and contents, and in marketing, it usually comes with creation of new types of product and service under the base of digital technology as digitalization progress in electro-communication industries including telecommunication, home appliance, and computer industries. One can see digital convergence not only in instruments such as PC, AV appliances, cellular phone, but also in contents, network, service that are required in production, modification, distribution, re-production of information. Convergence in contents started around 1990. Convergence in network and service begins as broadcasting and telecommunication integrates and DMB(digital multimedia broadcasting), born in May, 2005 is the symbolic icon in this trend. There are some positive and negative expectations about DMB. The reason why two opposite expectations exist is that DMB does not come out from customer's need but from technology development. Therefore, customers might have hard time to interpret the real meaning of DMB. Time is quite critical to a high tech product, like DMB because another product with same function from different technology can replace the existing product within short period of time. If DMB does not positioning well to customer's mind quickly, another products like Wibro, IPTV, or HSPDA could replace it before it even spreads out. Therefore, positioning strategy is critical for success of DMB product. To make correct positioning strategy, one needs to understand how consumer interprets DMB and how consumer's interpretation can be changed via communication strategy. In this study, we try to investigate how consumer perceives a new product, like DMB and how AD strategy change consumer's perception. More specifically, the paper segment consumers into sub-groups based on their DMB perceptions and compare their characteristics in order to understand how they perceive DMB. And, expose them different printed ADs that have messages guiding consumer think DMB in specific ways, either cellular phone or personal TV. Research Question 1: Segment consumers according to perceptions about DMB and compare characteristics of segmentations. Research Question 2: Compare perceptions about DMB after AD that induces categorization of DMB in direction for each segment. If one understand and predict a direction in which consumer perceive a new product, firm can select target customers easily. We segment consumers according to their perception and analyze characteristics in order to find some variables that can influence perceptions, like prior experience, usage, or habit. And then, marketing people can use this variables to identify target customers and predict their perceptions. If one knows how customer's perception is changed via AD message, communication strategy could be constructed properly. Specially, information from segmented customers helps to develop efficient AD strategy for segment who has prior perception. Research framework consists of two measurements and one treatment, O1 X O2. First observation is for collecting information about consumer's perception and their characteristics. Based on first observation, the paper segment consumers into two groups, one group perceives DMB similar to Cellular phone and the other group perceives DMB similar to TV. And compare characteristics of two segments in order to find reason why they perceive DMB differently. Next, we expose two kinds of AD to subjects. One AD describes DMB as Cellular phone and the other Ad describes DMB as personal TV. When two ADs are exposed to subjects, consumers don't know their prior perception of DMB, in other words, which subject belongs 'similar-to-Cellular phone' segment or 'similar-to-TV' segment? However, we analyze the AD's effect differently for each segment. In research design, final observation is for investigating AD effect. Perception before AD is compared with perception after AD. Comparisons are made for each segment and for each AD. For the segment who perceives DMB similar to TV, AD that describes DMB as cellular phone could change the prior perception. And AD that describes DMB as personal TV, could enforce the prior perception. For data collection, subjects are selected from undergraduate students because they have basic knowledge about most digital equipments and have open attitude about a new product and media. Total number of subjects is 240. In order to measure perception about DMB, we use indirect measurement, comparison with other similar digital products. To select similar digital products, we pre-survey students and then finally select PDA, Car-TV, Cellular Phone, MP3 player, TV, and PSP. Quasi experiment is done at several classes under instructor's allowance. After brief introduction, prior knowledge, awareness, and usage about DMB as well as other digital instruments is asked and their similarities and perceived characteristics are measured. And then, two kinds of manipulated color-printed AD are distributed and similarities and perceived characteristics for DMB are re-measured. Finally purchase intension, AD attitude, manipulation check, and demographic variables are asked. Subjects are given small gift for participation. Stimuli are color-printed advertising. Their actual size is A4 and made after several pre-test from AD professionals and students. As results, consumers are segmented into two subgroups based on their perceptions of DMB. Similarity measure between DMB and cellular phone and similarity measure between DMB and TV are used to classify consumers. If subject whose first measure is less than the second measure, she is classified into segment A and segment A is characterized as they perceive DMB like TV. Otherwise, they are classified as segment B, who perceives DMB like cellular phone. Discriminant analysis on these groups with their characteristics of usage and attitude shows that Segment A knows much about DMB and uses a lot of digital instrument. Segment B, who thinks DMB as cellular phone doesn't know well about DMB and not familiar with other digital instruments. So, consumers with higher knowledge perceive DMB similar to TV because launching DMB advertising lead consumer think DMB as TV. Consumers with less interest on digital products don't know well about DMB AD and then think DMB as cellular phone. In order to investigate perceptions of DMB as well as other digital instruments, we apply Proxscal analysis, Multidimensional Scaling technique at SPSS statistical package. At first step, subjects are presented 21 pairs of 7 digital instruments and evaluate similarity judgments on 7 point scale. And for each segment, their similarity judgments are averaged and similarity matrix is made. Secondly, Proxscal analysis of segment A and B are done. At third stage, get similarity judgment between DMB and other digital instruments after AD exposure. Lastly, similarity judgments of group A-1, A-2, B-1, and B-2 are named as 'after DMB' and put them into matrix made at the first stage. Then apply Proxscal analysis on these matrixes and check the positional difference of DMB and after DMB. The results show that map of segment A, who perceives DMB similar as TV, shows that DMB position closer to TV than to Cellular phone as expected. Map of segment B, who perceive DMB similar as cellular phone shows that DMB position closer to Cellular phone than to TV as expected. Stress value and R-square is acceptable. And, change results after stimuli, manipulated Advertising show that AD makes DMB perception bent toward Cellular phone when Cellular phone-like AD is exposed, and that DMB positioning move towards Car-TV which is more personalized one when TV-like AD is exposed. It is true for both segment, A and B, consistently. Furthermore, the paper apply correspondence analysis to the same data and find almost the same results. The paper answers two main research questions. The first one is that perception about a new product is made mainly from prior experience. And the second one is that AD is effective in changing and enforcing perception. In addition to above, we extend perception change to purchase intention. Purchase intention is high when AD enforces original perception. AD that shows DMB like TV makes worst intention. This paper has limitations and issues to be pursed in near future. Methodologically, current methodology can't provide statistical test on the perceptual change, since classical MDS models, like Proxscal and correspondence analysis are not probability models. So, a new probability MDS model for testing hypothesis about configuration needs to be developed. Next, advertising message needs to be developed more rigorously from theoretical and managerial perspective. Also experimental procedure could be improved for more realistic data collection. For example, web-based experiment and real product stimuli and multimedia presentation could be employed. Or, one can display products together in simulated shop. In addition, demand and social desirability threats of internal validity could influence on the results. In order to handle the threats, results of the model-intended advertising and other "pseudo" advertising could be compared. Furthermore, one can try various level of innovativeness in order to check whether it make any different results (cf. Moon 2006). In addition, if one can create hypothetical product that is really innovative and new for research, it helps to make a vacant impression status and then to study how to form impression in more rigorous way.

참여자관점에서 공급사슬관리 시스템의 성공에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Determinants of Supply Chain Management Systems Success from Vendor's Perspective)

  • The supply chain management (SCM) systems have emerged as strong managerial tools for manufacturing firms in enhancing competitive strength. Despite of large investments in the SCM systems, many companies are not fully realizing the promised benefits from the systems. A review of literature on adoption, implementation and success factor of IOS (inter-organization systems), EDI (electronic data interchange) systems, shows that this issue has been examined from multiple theoretic perspectives. And many researchers have attempted to identify the factors which influence the success of system implementation. However, the existing studies have two drawbacks in revealing the determinants of systems implementation success. First, previous researches raise questions as to the appropriateness of research subjects selected. Most SCM systems are operating in the form of private industrial networks, where the participants of the systems consist of two distinct groups: focus companies and vendors. The focus companies are the primary actors in developing and operating the systems, while vendors are passive participants which are connected to the system in order to supply raw materials and parts to the focus companies. Under the circumstance, there are three ways in selecting the research subjects; focus companies only, vendors only, or two parties grouped together. It is hard to find researches that use the focus companies exclusively as the subjects probably due to the insufficient sample size for statistic analysis. Most researches have been conducted using the data collected from both groups. We argue that the SCM success factors cannot be correctly indentified in this case. The focus companies and the vendors are in different positions in many areas regarding the system implementation: firm size, managerial resources, bargaining power, organizational maturity, and etc. There are no obvious reasons to believe that the success factors of the two groups are identical. Grouping the two groups also raises questions on measuring the system success. The benefits from utilizing the systems may not be commonly distributed to the two groups. One group's benefits might be realized at the expenses of the other group considering the situation where vendors participating in SCM systems are under continuous pressures from the focus companies with respect to prices, quality, and delivery time. Therefore, by combining the system outcomes of both groups we cannot measure the system benefits obtained by each group correctly. Second, the measures of system success adopted in the previous researches have shortcoming in measuring the SCM success. User satisfaction, system utilization, and user attitudes toward the systems are most commonly used success measures in the existing studies. These measures have been developed as proxy variables in the studies of decision support systems (DSS) where the contribution of the systems to the organization performance is very difficult to measure. Unlike the DSS, the SCM systems have more specific goals, such as cost saving, inventory reduction, quality improvement, rapid time, and higher customer service. We maintain that more specific measures can be developed instead of proxy variables in order to measure the system benefits correctly. The purpose of this study is to find the determinants of SCM systems success in the perspective of vendor companies. In developing the research model, we have focused on selecting the success factors appropriate for the vendors through reviewing past researches and on developing more accurate success measures. The variables can be classified into following: technological, organizational, and environmental factors on the basis of TOE (Technology-Organization-Environment) framework. The model consists of three independent variables (competition intensity, top management support, and information system maturity), one mediating variable (collaboration), one moderating variable (government support), and a dependent variable (system success). The systems success measures have been developed to reflect the operational benefits of the SCM systems; improvement in planning and analysis capabilities, faster throughput, cost reduction, task integration, and improved product and customer service. The model has been validated using the survey data collected from 122 vendors participating in the SCM systems in Korea. To test for mediation, one should estimate the hierarchical regression analysis on the collaboration. And moderating effect analysis should estimate the moderated multiple regression, examines the effect of the government support. The result shows that information system maturity and top management support are the most important determinants of SCM system success. Supply chain technologies that standardize data formats and enhance information sharing may be adopted by supply chain leader organization because of the influence of focal company in the private industrial networks in order to streamline transactions and improve inter-organization communication. Specially, the need to develop and sustain an information system maturity will provide the focus and purpose to successfully overcome information system obstacles and resistance to innovation diffusion within the supply chain network organization. The support of top management will help focus efforts toward the realization of inter-organizational benefits and lend credibility to functional managers responsible for its implementation. The active involvement, vision, and direction of high level executives provide the impetus needed to sustain the implementation of SCM. The quality of collaboration relationships also is positively related to outcome variable. Collaboration variable is found to have a mediation effect between on influencing factors and implementation success. Higher levels of inter-organizational collaboration behaviors such as shared planning and flexibility in coordinating activities were found to be strongly linked to the vendors trust in the supply chain network. Government support moderates the effect of the IS maturity, competitive intensity, top management support on collaboration and implementation success of SCM. In general, the vendor companies face substantially greater risks in SCM implementation than the larger companies do because of severe constraints on financial and human resources and limited education on SCM systems. Besides resources, Vendors generally lack computer experience and do not have sufficient internal SCM expertise. For these reasons, government supports may establish requirements for firms doing business with the government or provide incentives to adopt, implementation SCM or practices. Government support provides significant improvements in implementation success of SCM when IS maturity, competitive intensity, top management support and collaboration are low. The environmental characteristic of competition intensity has no direct effect on vendor perspective of SCM system success. But, vendors facing above average competition intensity will have a greater need for changing technology. This suggests that companies trying to implement SCM systems should set up compatible supply chain networks and a high-quality collaboration relationship for implementation and performance.

수치모델을 이용한 Last Glacial Maximum의 동아시아 기후변화 연구 (Study of East Asia Climate Change for the Last Glacial Maximum Using Numerical Model)

  • 미국 해양대기청의 CCM3 기후모델을 이용하여 마지막최대빙하기 (Last Glacial Maximum (LGM))의 동아시아기후변화를 시뮬레이션 하였다. 이용된 수치모델의 수평해상도는 약 75km로 동아시아의 비교적 상세한 지형 및 기후 기작들이 표현된다. 현재 기후는 미국 해양대기청 에서 제공한 월평균 표층해수가 경계조건으로 이용되었으며, LGM 실험은 CLIMAP 프로젝트에서 복원된 표층해수가 경계조건으로 이용되었다. 또한 LGM실험에서는 현재 의 이산화탄소농도(330 ppm) 보다 낮았던 대기 이산화탄소농도 (200 ppm)가 적용되었고, 대륙빙하를 포함한 LGM 지표지형이 표현되었다. LGM 경계조건하에서 한국 서해와 동해의 대륙사면에서는 표층 온도가 겨울철에 약 18도 정도 현재보다 낮게 나타나며, 여름철에는 약 2도 정도 높게 나타나는데, 이와 같은 온도 변화는 한국 서해가 빙하기때 해수면 하강에 따라 지표로 드러남으로서 표층 열용량의 차이가 나타나기 때문이다. 전체적으로 마지막최대빙하기에 동아시아 내륙에서는 표층온도가 약 4-6도 감소하며, 주변해역을 포함하여 약 7.1도 하강하는 것으로 시뮬레이션 되는데, 이와 같은 온도감소는 이산화탄소농도 감소에 따른 장파복사량의 증가에 기인한다. 표층의 온도감소는 물수지의 약화를 초래하는데, 겨울철 아시아의 남동부에서 강수량이 약 1-4 mm/day 감소하며, 여름철에는 중국에서의 감수감소가 나타난다. 대체로 마지막최대 빙하기동안 동북아시아에서 현재보다 약 50%정도 감수가 감소하는 것으로 시뮬레이션 된다. 증발량도 감소하는 것으로 나타나지만, 강수의 감소가 더 커서 지난빙하기동안 동아시아는 대체로 건조한 기후가 나타나며, 이와 같은 결과는 다른 지역에서 보이고 있는 결과와 잘 일치한다. 결론적으로 고해상도 수치모델은 전 지구 영역 하에서 동아시아의 기후변화를 잘 시뮬레이션 하고 있다.mu}M$에서 $9.1{\mu}M$까지, 알테미아 경우 $16.13{\mu}M$에서 $45.8{\mu}M$까지, 그리고 배합 사료 공급시에는 $36.5{\mu}M$에서 $120.1{\mu}M$까지 상승하였다. 일간 수질 변화에 따른 용존 무기 질소(로티퍼; 7.0 g/일, 알테미아; 24.7 g/일, 배합 사료; 140.9 g/일)와 인(로티퍼; 0.7 g/일, 알테미아; 0.7 g/일, 배합 사료; 2.2 g/일) 배출량은 배합 사료 공급 시기에 유의적으로 높았다(P<0.05). 이와 같은 결과는 상업적 볼락 대량 종묘 시설에서 사육 시스템 내 수질 및 사육 관리를 위한 중요한 정보를 제공할 것이다.였다. 2종의 박하 추출물 투여군들 사이에는 혈청 GPT 활성에 대한 유의적인 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 7.과산화물질 (TBARS)의 함량은 정상군에 비해 음성대조군에서 약간의 함량 증가가 관찰되었으나 유의적인 수준은 아니었으며 대부분의 박하 추출물 투여군과 Silymarin 투여군에서 과산화지질이 비슷한 수준으로 증가하여 박하는 알콜에 의한 과간화지질생성에 대한 저해효과가 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 8. 상대간장중량은 각 실험군별로 상대간장중량에서의 차이는 다소 있었으나 유의성은 없었다.mg/ml로 한 EtOAc 분획물은 26의 돌연변이 유발성을 보였다. 이상의 결과로 부터 뽕나무를 이용한 식용 제품생산을 고려할 때 추출물들의 제조와 선택을 가름하는 자료로서의 활용이 기대되며 앞으로 in vivo test 등 더욱 연구할 필요가 있을 것으로 사료된다.0^{-4}\;pg/cell$로 60 kHz로 병행 추출한 복분자 water 분획층의 $19.5{\times}10^{-4}\;pg/cell$보다 높은 분비량을 나타내었다.

모조(模造) 환경조건하(環境條件下)에서의 치환(置換) Diphenyl Ether 제초제(除草劑)의 광분해(光分解)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Solution Phase Photolyses of Substituted Diphenyl Ether Herbicides under Simulated Environmental Conditions)

  • 팔종(八種)의 치환(置換) diphenyl ether 제초제(除草劑)를 Rayonet 광화학(光化學) 반응기(反應器)를 사용(使用)한 모조환경조건하(模造環境條件下)에서 용액상(溶液相) 광분해(光分解)시켜 그 분해산물(分解産物)에 관(關)하여 연구(硏究)하였다. 시료(試料)로 사용(使用)된 화합물(化合物)들은 300 nm에서 광화학반응(光化學反應)을 일으키기에 충분(充分)한 energy를 흡수(吸收)하였으며 분해산물(分解産物)은 tlc, glc, ir, ms, 그리고 nmr 등(等)에 의(依)하여 확인(確認)하였다. 그 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 C-6989의 용액상(溶液相) 광분해(光分解) : p-nitrophenol이 다량(多量) 생성(生成)됨을 보아 ether결합(結合)의 결렬이 주반응(主反應)이며 치환기(置換基) $NO_2{\rightarrow}NH_2$의 광화학적(光化學約) 환원반응(還元反應)과 $CF_3{\rightarrow}COOH$의 산화반응(酸化反應)도 관찰되었다. p-Nitrophenol의 수중(水中) 광분해(光分解) : quinone(0.28%), hydroquinone(0.66%) 및 p-aminophenol(0.42%)과 비교적(比較的) 소량(少量)의 미지화합물(未知化合物)이 생성(生成)됨을 확인(確認)하였고 모화합물(母化化合物)은 대부분(大部分) 작용(作用)을 받지 않은 채로 존재(存在)하였다. 이들 분해산물(分解産物)의 형성기구(形成機構)는 $n{\rightarrow}{\pi}^*$ 및 여기(勵起)를 거친 nitro-nitrite재배열(再配列) 및 자유기(自由基)에 의(依)한 수소탈취(水素脫取)를 통(通)한 광환원(光還元)으로 추측(推測)되었다. Nitrofen의 용액상(溶液相) 광분해(光分解) : n-hexane중(中)에서는 $NO_2$기(基)의 광환원(光遷元)이 주반응(主反應)이었고 수용액(水溶液) 중(中)에서는 광환원(光遷元) 및 hydroxylation이 ether결합(結合) 결렬 보다 현저하였다. hydroxide ion에 의한 친핵적(親核的) 치환(置換), hydroxyl기(基) 및 소량(少量)이긴 하지만 수소(水素)에 의한 염소(鹽素)의 치환(置換)도 다소 관찰되었다. MO-338의 용액상(溶液相) 광분해(光分解) : n-hexane용액중(中) nitro기(基)의 광환원(光遷元) 반응(反應)과 수용액중(水溶液中)에서의 광환원(光遷元) 및 hydroxylation이 주반응(主反應)이었으며 hydroxyl기(基)와 수소(水素)에 의(依)한 염소(鹽素)의 치환(置換) 및 ether결합(結合)의 결렬도 볼 수 있었다. n-Hexane과 cyclohexane중(中)에서의 MC-4379, MC-3761, MC-5127, MC-6063 및 MC-7181의 광분해(光分解) : nitro기(基)의 광환원반응(光還元反應)과 수소(水素)에 의(依)한 halogen의 치환반응(置換反應)이 주(主)로 일어났다. MC-4379의 수중(水中) 광분해(光分解) : ether결합(結合)의 결렬, hydroxyl기(基)에 의한 carboxymethyl기(基)의 치환(置換), hydroxylation, hydroxyl기(基)에 의한 nitro기(基)의 치환(置換)이 주(主)로 일어났고 광환원(光還元) 및 광염소화반응(光鹽素化反應)도 약간 일어났다. MC-3761의 수중(水中) 광분해(光分解) : ether결합(結合)의 결렬, hydroxyl기(基)에 의한 carboxymethyl기(基)의 치환(置換) 및 hydroxylation이 수반되는 광환원(光還元)이 주반응(主反應)이었다. MC-5127의 수중(水中) 광분해(光分解) : 수소(水素)에 의한 carboxyethyl기(基)의 치환(置換)이 현저 하였고 ether결합(結合)의 결렬, 광환원(光還元) 및 탈염소화반응(脫鹽素化反應)도 약간 관찰되었으며 decarboxyethylation은 decarxy-methylation보다 용이함을 볼 수 있었다. MC-6063의 수중(水中) 광분해(光分解) : ether결합(結合)의 결렬과 탈염소화반응(脫鹽素化反應)이 주(主)로 관찰되었다. MC-7181의 수중(水中) 광분해(光分解) : 수소(水素)에 의한 carboxymethyl기(基)의 치환(置換)과 monodechlorination이 현저하였고 ether결합(結合) 결렬과 hydroxylation도 약간 일어났다. 3-Carboxymethyl-4-nitrophenol의 수중(水中) 광분해(光分解) : 방향족(芳香族) ester에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 광유도(光誘導) Fries rearrangement는 이 화합물(化合物)의 carboxymethyl기(基)에서는 볼 수 없었고 $nitro{\to}nitroso$반응(反應)이 주(主)로 일어났다.

잔디밭 잡초방제(雜草防除)를 위한 선택성(選擇性) 제초제(除草劑)의 개발(開發)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Development of Selective Heribicide for Control of Weeds in Turf)

  • 본 연구에서는 잔디밭 잡초방제를 합리적이고 체계적으로 행하기 위한 선택성(選擇性) 제초제(除草劑)의 개발과 약제제초방법(藥劑除草方法)을 추구할 목적으로 신규(新規)제초제와 기존(旣存) 제초제의 단제(單劑), 혼합(混合) 또는 조합(組合)하여 21종의 제초제에 대하여 한지형(寒地型) 잔디 2 종과 난지형(暖地型) 잔디 1종 그리고 잔디밭 우점초종(優占草種) 18 종을 대상으로 잔디 이식후 4 일 후 및 25 일 후 잡초발아전 처리를 행하였고 또한 잡초 발생 후 경엽처리를 실시하였으며, 계절에 따라 발생하는 잡초를 방제하기 위해 봄, 가을 및 잔디 휴면기(休眠期)에 제초제룰 처리하였고 아울러 포장적응성 실험을 행하여 잔디에 대한 생육 혹은 약해와 제초효과를 검토하였던 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 잔디 이식 후 4 일 후 및 25 일 후 처리에서 한국잔디와 2 종의 벤트그래스에 안정성이 인정되는 약제 및 약량은 napropamide 200 - 400 g /10 a prod., napropamide + triclopyr 100 + 200 g, 150 + 150g 및 200 + 100g, triclopyr 300 - 500 g, benefin 1500 - 2500 g 이었다. Simazine, lenacil, bentazon은 벤트그래스에는 다소(多少)의 생육 감소가 있었으나 한국잔디에는 안전하였다. 2. Simazine, benefin, napropamid + simazine의 토양겸(土壤兼) 경엽처리(莖葉處理)에 의한 제초효과는 바랭이, 방동사니, 명아주, 쇠비름, 중대가리풀 등 공시 초종 모두에 대해서 우수하였다. Lenacil은 명아주에 대해서 전혀 효과가 없었고, napropamide는 광엽에 대해서, triclopyr는 방동사니와 쇠비름에 대해서, bentazon은 바랭이에 대해서 약간의 잔초(殘草)가 있었고 각 약제 모두 가타 공시초종에 대한 방제효과는 우수하였다. Napropamide 또는 triclopyr에 simazine을 조합처리(組合處理)했을 때 제초효과는 상승되었다. 3. 경엽처리제(莖葉處理劑) 중 mecoprop, bentazon, benefin + dicamba, benefin + mecoprop는 벤트그래스에 대하여 안정성이 있었다. 한국잔디에 대한 생육억제는 simazine + atrazine을 제외한 공시경엽처리제 모두 인정할 수 없었다. 4. 경엽처리제(莖葉處理劑) 중 피에 대한 효과는 mecoprop과 triclopyr를 제외한 공시약제 모두 85~100%의 높은 방제율이었다. 바랭이에 대해서는 공시약제 모두 60 - 85% 범위의 방제율을 나타내고, 방동산이에 대해서는 bentazon만 100%의 방제율을 보였다. 매듭풀에 대해서는 benefin + mecoprop가 저조(低調)한 효과를 나타냈을 뿐 기타 약제 모두 90-100%의 우수한 효과를 나타냈다. 5. 봄철 토양겸(土壤兼) 경엽처리(莖葉處理)를 한 잔디의 생육은 simazine, lenacil, napropamide + simazine 처리에서 벤트그래스가 감소되었고 기타 처리에서는 공시잔디 3 종 모두 좋은 생육율을 나타냈다. 제초효과는 lenacil과 bentazon이 피에 대해서, bensulide가 망초에 대해서, napropamide와 bentazon이 매듭풀에 대해서 각각 저조(低調)하였을 뿐 기타 처리에서는 85~100%의 우수한 방제율을 나타냈다. 6. 가을철 토양겸 경엽처리에서의 잔디생육은 봄에 처리한 결과와 유사하였다. 제초효과는 triclopyr가 피에 대해서, bentazon 과 pendimethalin이 새포아풀에 대해서 다소 떨어진 결과였다. 광엽(廣葉)의 제초효과는 냉 이가 napropamide, benefin, bensulide에 대해서 매우 내성(耐性)을 보였고 별꽃에 대해서 napropamide, bentazon, napropamide + triclopyr, benefin의 효과가 낮았다. 벼룩나물과 점 나도나물은 공시약제 모두에 80 - 100%가 방제되었다. 7. 한국잔디 휴면기(休眠期) 처리(處理)에서 paraquat나 glyphosate의 잔디에 대한 약해는 없었다. 一年生인 새포아풀의 방제효과는 우수하였으나 다년생(多年生)은 토끼풀>억새>메꽃${\geq}$쑥의 순으로 다소(多少)의 억제효과가 있었다. 8. 공시약제 19 종 모두 한국잔디 포장에서의 약해는 없었다. 잡초 발아전 토양겸 경엽처리제 10 종 모두 다년생에 대해서는 효과가 거의 없거나 미약(微弱)하였으나 1년생 잡초에는 우수한 방제효과를 나타냈다. 잡초 발생 후 2 - 3 엽기 처리에서 공시약제 모두 광엽잡초에 대하여 우수한 살초효과를 나타냈고 기타 다년생 및 일년생 화본과와 방동사니에 대한 살초효과는 미약(微弱)하거나 거의 없었다.

신생아 중환자실에 입원한 환아 어머니의 스트레스 (A Study on the Perceived Stress of Mothers in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

  • The parents have much expectation upon the pregnancy and child birth, and in most cases, they expect the healthy parturient child. However, we can be placed on the high-risk conditions which have the physical, social and immature infant, due to the unexpected results, among the new-born. Accordingly, these high-risk newborn and premature infants will be mostly in NICU, which the concentrated medical treatment can be given, upon their conditions. After their birth and during these periods, they will be divided from the parents, and the nurse will accomplish the bringing-up activities which they can take care of the infant, expected by the parents after their birth. The hospitalization of high-risk newborn including these premature infants is the shocking experience to the parents of family, and thus they can feel the fear and uneasiness, and these reactions of parents are troubled in the behavior at the usual days, and cause the disorder and spiritless status, and these results break the supporting ability of parents, and cause the obstruction. Also, the unavoidable division between the parents and the children as like hospitalization of children can make the parents to feel the alienation emotionally, and this causes the results which the pride on the bringing-up ability of baby gets to be lost. These problems can cause the difficulties on the bonding or the parenting in the further days, and can be related to the neglect and abuse of children. Also, it is gradually increased to study and report which the emotional division by the physical division between the mother and the baby obstructs the normal affection course between the parent and the infant. The stress caused by the birth and the hospitalization of high-risk newborn, as like this, is important in the points which it can uncertainly affect the potential energy for the relationship of parent-child who are finally healthy. Accordingly, the significance and purpose of this study are to understand the contents and degree of stress which the parents of high-risk newborn including the immature child can be experienced from the hospitalization of ICU for their new borns, and thus to offer the basic program to the nursing intervention program for these. The subject of this study is the mother of newborn in NICU of 10 General Hospitals located at the 3one of Pusan, Korea from September 1997 to October 1997, and thus makes the subject of 95 person of parents who agreed to take part in the study and it is descriptive study related to the stress of mother having the newborn in NICU. The method is based on the preceding study related to the stress of mother having the experience of child hospitalization and chronic disease child, and then acquires the advice of specialists group as like 5 nursing professors, and then is amended and supplemented. Total number of questions is 43 items and consists of 5 factors as like medical treatment &nursing procedures, disease status & prognosis, role of parents, communication & inter-personal relationships, hospital environment, and is 5 point Likert Scale. The reliability of this study method is very highly shown to be Cronbach α=0.95. The collected data is analysed as Average, Frequency, Standard Deviation, T-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Duncan multifulrange test by use of SPSS /PC (V7.5). The results of this study is summarized as under. 1. Every characteristics of subject is which the party of mother is 28.70age(±7.48) in the average ages, 51% in the high-school graduate, 38.5% in the christianity, total monthly income is 212.55 thousand won(±1.971), 74.5% in the housewife, 72.9% in the parents and children together living and the number of children to be 1.48person(± 0.6) in average, the recognition on the prognosis of baby is 74.0% in 'Don't know', the relationship with the husband after the hospitalization of babyis 37.3% in 'More Intimate', the relationship with the family of husband to be 48% in 'No-change', and the degree which is consulted with the husband about the baby is 55% in 'very frequently' and the visiting number per week is 4.59(±1.63) in average and the accompanying person in the time of visiting is which the number of husband is 56.3% and thus is the highest. The characteristics of baby is which the age is 21.88days(±16.47) after the birth in average, the sex to be 50 person in the female 52.1% and the order of birth to be 54.2% in the first chid, and the weight in the birth to be 2770gm(±610) and the height in the birth to be 46.26cm(±7.62) in aver age. The medical diagnosis is 37.5% in the premature infant, the career of hospitalization is 96.9% in 'None', and the operation plan is 90.6% in 'None' and the execution of operation is 88% in 'None' and the nursing of incubator is 55.2% in 'Yes', and the method of feeding is 50.5% in 'Oral' and the contents of feeding is 46.9% in the 'Milk'. 2. The total stress degree of subject is almost highly shown to be as 3.36(±0.86). If it is compared upon each cause, 'stress on disease status & prognosis' is highest 3.79(±1.28), and it is in the order of 'stress on medical treatment & nursing procedures' 3.70(±0.93), 'stress on hospital environment' 3.14(±0.86), 'stress on role of parents' 3.18(±0.92) and 'stress on communication & inter personal relationship' 2.62(± 0.77) 3. As the results of checking the notworthiness of stress degree upon each variable of subject, the variable showing the noted difference was the birth weight(γ=-0.16, P=0.04), birth height(γ=-0.23, P=0.03), nursing in the incubator(F=8.93, P=0.04), feed method(F=2.94, P=0.04). That is to say, it is shown which the smaller the birth weight is, the higher the stress degree of mother is noteworthily. Also, the smaller the birth height baby is, the higher the stress of mother is. In the incubator, it os shown which the mother whose baby is nursing in the incubator is higher in the stress degree than other mothers. Upon the feeding method of baby, that is to say, TPNis the highest, and it is shown in the order of NPO, Tube feeding, and P.O. feeding. When we review the above-mentioned results, as the status is serious, it is thought which we include the supporting nursing for coping with the stress of parents in the setting-up od nursing plan for the baby in the NICU.

자동차회사 근로자를 대상으로 한 근골격계 자각증상과 moire 영상 진단과의 관계 연구 (Research on the Relation between Musculoskeletal symptoms and Diagnosis using Moire Topography among Workers at an Automobile Manufacturing Plant)

  • The purposes of this study were to offer foundation making more certain standards of musculoskeletal disorder diagnosis, We researched musculoskeletal symptoms degrees, frequencies, and cares and then examined relation between musculoskeletal symptoms and diagnosis of musculoskeletal conditions using moire topography among workers at an automobile manufacturing plant. Therefore we propose the possibility of moire topography as diagnosing utilities of musculoskeletal disorders. Methods: This study was to examine the general characteristics, complaints of musculoskeletal symptoms, and work-related musculoskeletal disorder rates of cervicobrachial and lumbar area by survey among 435 workers at an automobile manufacturing plant and then to show each frequency and percentage, In the diagnosis using moire topography, we studied pain control necessity of cervicobrachial and lumbar area, 435 subjects were classified by 5 levels: A(no symptoms), B(need management), C(need treatment) and then more divided by B1(light symptoms)/B2(heavy symptoms), C1(light symptoms)/C2(heavy symptoms), And musculoskeletal areas were divided by 2 parts, cervicobrachial area(neck, shoulder, arm&elbow, and wrist&hand) and lumbar area, Then, frequency and percentage of each musculoskeletal areas(cervicobrachial and lumbar area) were appeared. At last, Pearson's chi-square test analysis was utilized to observe the relation between diagnosis using moire topography and general characteristics and the relation between diagnosis using moire topography and work-related complaint of musculoskeletal symptoms of cervicobrachial and lumbar area, Results: The subjects employed for this research were categorized into; by gender, all of them were males(l00%): by age, under 35 years 12 %, 36-40 years 56.3%, 41-45 years 26.3 %, and above 46 years 5.3% with 36-40 years accounting for most of it. By living location, owned houses represented 69.7%, rented houses 23.4%, monthly-rented 1.6%, the others 5.3%; by education, middle school and lower represented 3.0%, high school 89.4%, and junior college and higher 7.6% with high school occupying most of the group. By marital status, married represented 95.2%, unmarried 4.1%, and the others 0.7% with most of them married; by alcohol, drinking represented 81.8% and non-drinking 18.2%; by smoking status, smoking represented 53.6%, non-smoking 46.4% with no big difference between them. By working time(hours/week), below 50 represented 26.9%, 50-60 67.6%, above 60 5.5%; by working time(hours/day), below 9 represented 21.6%, 10-12 73.1%, above 13 5.3%; by job tenure(years), below 10 represented 25.1%, 11-15 54.3%, 16-20 15.2%, above 21 5.5%. By personal income per year, below 30 million won represented 11.0%, 30-40 84.8%, above 40 4.1%; by sleeping hours, below 6 hours represented 26.7%, 7-8 hours 69.9%, above 9 hours 3.4%. Complaint rates of musculoskeletal symptoms and work-related musculoskeletal disorder rates were 63.9% and 54.9% with shoulder area occupying most of both them. By pain degree of musculoskeletal symptoms, shoulder area represented $2.73{\pm}0.84$, lumbar area $2.66{\pm}0.86$, wrist and hand area $2.59{\pm}0.86$, neck area $2.55{\pm}0.74$, and arm and elbow area $2.48{\pm}0.71$. By cares about musculoskeletal symptoms, taking medication or care represented 34.4%-46.7%, absence or leave 15.4%-28.7%, and job transfer 6.3%-11.5%. So experienced cases more than one thing among cares about musculoskeletal symptoms represented 39.6%-54%. In the diagnosis using moire topography, pain control necessity of cervicobrachial area was shown below; A(no symptoms) 20.7%, B1(need management/light symptoms) 64.6%, B2(need management/heavy symptoms) 11.5%, C1(need treatment/light symptoms) 3.0%, C2(need treatment/heavy symptoms) 0.2%. By lumbar area, A(no symptoms) 8.7%, B1(need management/light symptoms) 52.2%, B2(need management/heavy symptoms) 30.3%, C1(need treatment/light symptoms) 8.7%, C2(need treatment/heavy symptoms) was none. In the relation between pain control necessity and general characteristics, age(P=0.013), education(P=0.000), and job tenure(P=0.012) with pain control necessity showed differences with significance. The relation between pain control necessity and complaint of musculoskeletal symptoms of cervicobrachial and lumbar area showed no difference with significance; in cervicobrachial area represented P=0.708, lumbar area P=0.318 Conclusions: This study for musculoskeletal symptoms on workers at automobile manufacturing plant showed that complaint rates of musculoskeletal symptoms for cervicobrachial and lumbar area were so high, 63.9%. But Pearson's chi-square test analysis was utilized to study the relation between musculoskeletal symptoms and the diagnosis using moire topography, showed no differences with significance. They have no differences with significance, but the prevalence rates of diagnosis using moire topography for cervicobrachial and lumbar area were more higher than complaint rates of musculoskeletal symptoms; complaint rates of musculoskeletal symptoms were 52.4%, 34.5% and the diagnosis using moire topography were 79.3%, 91.3% for cervicobrachial and lumbar area. The results of this study indicate that the diagnosis using moire topography can find weak musculoskeletal disorders that an individual can not feel, not be judged work-related musculoskeletal disease. Therefore, this study has an important meaning that diagnosis using moire topography can predict and control own physical condition complete musculoskeletal disorders beforehand, since oriental medicine theory considers that prevention is important.

심호흡 방법에 따른 상복부 수술환자의 폐 환기능에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Deep Breathing Methods on Pulmonary Ventilatory Function of Patients Who experiened Upper-abdominal surgery)

  • 본 연구는 수술환자의 술 후 폐환기능 회복을 돕기 위한 효과적인 간호중재의 자료를 제공하고자 부산시내에 소재한 P 대학병원의 일반욋과에 입원하여 전신마취하에 상복부 수술을 받은 환자 46명을 대상으로 하였으며, 자료수집기간은 1993년 11월 1일부터 12월 31일까지로 하였고, 처음 4주간동안 대조군을, 다음 4주간에 실험군을 자료수집하였다. 실험군에는 Incentive Spirometer를 사용한 심호흡법을, 대조군에는 호흡기구를 사용하지 않은 자발적인 심호흡법을 수술 후 의식이 회복된 직 후부터 매 1시간마다 규칙적으로 24시간동안 실시하였다. 폐환기능의 측정도구는 운반이 용이하고 사용이 간편하여 임상적으로 많이 이용되는 Vitalograph Compact를 사용하였으며, 수술 전과 수술 후 24시간, 수술 후48시간, 수술 후72시간, 각 각 4회에 걸쳐 대상자들의 노력성 폐활량과 일초 노력성 호기량을 측정하였다. 여기서 수집한 자료를 SPSS $PC^+$를 이용하여, 백분율, 평균, t검정, $X^2$검정, 일원변량분석으로 통계처리하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같았다. 1) 대상자들의 일반적특성은 여성이 41.3%, 남성이 58.7%이며, 평균연령은 $48.48{\pm}12.26$, 흡연습관은 대상자 전체의 43.5%가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 과거 호흡기 질환은 전체의 8.7%가 앓은 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2) Incentive Spirometer를 사용한 심호흡방법은 수술 후의 노력성 폐활량에서 24시간에 $1.46{\pm}0.54L$, 48시간에 $1.58{\pm}0.60L$, 72시간에 $1.90{\pm}0.61L$로서 유의한 차이를 보였다(F=3.530, P=0.035). 즉 시간경과에 따라 폐환기능의 회복에 효과적이었다. 3) 호흡기구를 사용하지 않은 자발적인 심호흡 방법은 수술 후 노력성 폐활량이 24시간에 $1.19{pm}0.43L$, 48시간에 $1.35{\pm}0.42L$, 72시간에 $1.51{\pm}0.38L$로 유의한 차이를 보였고(F=3.480, P=0.037), 술 후 일초 노력성 호기량도 24시간에 $1.00{\pm}0.28L$, 48시간에 $1.20{\pm}0.37L$, 72시간에 $1.33{\pm}0.33L$로 유의한 차이를 보였으므로(F=6.153, P=0.004), 술 후 폐환기능 회복에 효과가 있다. 4) 실험군과 대조군의 수술 후 노력성 폐활량은 수술 후 72시간에서 실험군이 $1.90{\pm}0.61L$, 대조군이 $1.51{\pm}0.38L$로 유의한 차이를 보였다(t=2.620, P=0.013). 5) 실험군과 대조군의 수술 후 일초 노력성 호기량은 수술 후 24시간에서 $1.33{\pm}0.56L,\;1.00{\ge}0.28L$로 유의한 차이를 보였고(t=2.530, P=0.017), 술 후 72시간에서 $1.72{\pm}0.65L,\;1.33{\pm}0.3L$로 유의한 차이를 보였다(t=2.540, P=0.016). 6) 대상자의 술 후 폐환기능에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성별로 나타났다. 이에 따른 폐환기능의 차이를 보면, 실험군의 술 후 노력성 폐활량이 48시간에 남자($1.78{\pm}0.61L$)가 여자($1.27{\pm}0.45L$)보다 더 높게 나타났으며 (t=2.170, P=0.042), 72시간에도 역시 남자($2.16{\pm}0.56L$)가 여자($1.50{\pm}0.47L$)보다 더 높았다(t=2.910, P=0.008). 술 후 일초 노력성 호기량은 24시간에서 남자가 $1.54{\pm}0.60L$, 여자가 $1.00{\pm}0.30L$으로 유의하였고 (t=2.460, P=0.023), 48시간에 남자가 $1.64{\pm}0.62L$, 여자가 $1.09{\pm}0.41L$로 유의한 차이를 보였고(t=2.360, P=0.028), 72시간에도 남자($1.96{\pm}0.62L$)가 여자($1.33{\pm}0.50L$)보다 더 높게 나타났다(t=2.540, P=0.019). 즉 실험군의 술 후 폐환기능은 남자가 여자보다 더 우세하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 요약된 연구결과를 토대로, 연구자는 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. Incentive Spirometer를 사용한 심호흡법이 호흡기구를 사용하지않은 자발적인 심호흡보다 술 후 폐환기능 회복에 있어서 더 우수한 방법이었다. 그러므로, 임상간호사는 상복부 수술환자의 술 후 폐환기능 회복을 돕고 나아가 폐합병증을 예방하기 위해 Incentive Spirometer를 사용한 규칙적인 심호흡법을 술 후에 간호중재의 한 방안으로 실시할 것을 권장하며, 아울러 병동의 사정 상 호흡기구의 비치가 가능하지 않다면 호흡기구를 사용하지않은 자발적인 심호흡법을 술후에 꾸준히 적용하는것도 임상간호학발정에 기여하리라고 본다.

  • 제주도(濟州道)와 남부(南部) 도서지방(島嶼地方)에서 한해(寒害) 및 풍해(風害)에 대한 감귤(柑橘)의 안전재배(安全栽培)와 남부지방(南部地方)에서 비닐하우스 피복(被覆)및 비닐 하우스 피복재배(被覆栽培)를 효율적(效率的)으로 수행(遂行)하기 위하여 온주밀감(溫州蜜柑)의 내한성(耐寒性) 품종(品種)의 선발(選拔), 내한성(耐寒性) 조기검정(早期檢定) 및 내한재배기술(耐寒栽培技術)에 관한 연구(硏究)를 실시한 바 결과(結果)를 다음과 같이 적요(摘要)한다. 1. 거치로 피복(被覆)한 비닐하우스에서 월동후(越冬後) 무동해개체(無凍害個體)를 내한성(耐寒性) 조기검정(早期檢定)(leaf freezing test)에 공시(供試)한 결과(結果) $-9^{\circ}C$ 저온(低溫)에 2시간(時間) 처리(處理)하여 건전개체(健全個體) 12, 약간동해개체(若干凍害個體) 15로 나타났다. 2. 비닐하우스에 거치 두겹을 피복(被覆)하고 상면(床面)에 벼짚 멀칭과 낮에 채광(採光)하는 조건에서 기온(氣溫) $-15^{\circ}C$ 내외(內外)(대전지방(大田地方))에서 하우스 내부(內部) 온도(溫度)는 $-3^{\circ}C$, 지온(地溫)은 $0^{\circ}C$ 이상(以上)으로 유지되었다. 3. 하우스내(內) 비닐 터널 설치(設置) 상면(床面) mulching은 모두 유의성있게 보온 효과를 나타냈으나, 외부 기온에 따라 다르며, 하우스내(內) 비닐 터널은 필림의 색(色)에 의한 유의차는 없었다. 4. 하우스 내부(內部)의 수직적 온도(溫度) 분포(分布)는 하우스내(內)의 온도(溫度)가 높을 때는 상부(上部)일수록 온도(溫度)가 약간 높았고 하우스 내(內)의 온도(溫度)가 낮을 때에는 중앙부(中央部) 상면(床面), 상부(床部)의 순서(順序)로 낮았다. 5. 하우스 내부(內部)의 수평적(水平的) 온도(溫度) 분포(分布)는 북면(北面)이 지온(地溫) 및 상면온도(床面溫度)가 낮고 그 밖의 동서남북(東西南北)의 가장자리 부분(部分)은 모두 낮아서 공시목(供試木)이 동해(凍害)를 받았으며 북쪽 벽면(壁面)에서 30cm내(內)의 공시목(供試木)은 동해(凍害)가 심했다. 6. 북면(北面) 바깥쪽 벽면하(壁面下)에 $30{\times}30{\times}30cm$의 짚다발 절록구(絶綠溝)의 설치(設置)는 북면(北面)의 지온(地溫) 및 상면(床面) 온도(溫度) 강하(降下)를 막아서 동해(凍害)를 막는 효과(效果)가 기대(期待)된다. 7. 흐린날, 눈 나린 날은 하우스 내외(內外)의 온도(溫度) 차이(差異)가 적었으나 방열이 적어서 내부(內部) 온도(溫度)는 야간(夜間)에도 비교적 높게 유지되었다. 8. 1일중 최고온도(最高溫度)의 peak는 하우스 내외(內外) 모두 15시(時) 전후(前後)에 있고 최저온도(最低溫度)의 peak는 모두 6시(時) 전후(前後)에 있으며 외부(外部) 온도(溫度)의 최저(最低)에 따라 내부(內部)도 변한다. 맑은 날의 최고온도(最高溫度)는 차(差)가 크고($19^{\circ}C$, 11월하순(月下旬)) 눈오는 날, 흐린 날은 차(差)가 적었으로($9^{\circ}C$, 11월하순(月下旬)) 특히 눈온 날 하우스내(內)의 온도(溫度) 강하(降下)가 적어서 야간(夜間)에 온도곡선(溫度曲線)은 평행(平行)에 가까왔다. 9. 내한성(耐寒性), 반왜성(半矮性)(semi-dwarf type), 단지형(短枝形)(spur type) 우량품종(優量品種)을 효과적(效果的)인 방한(防寒) 피복(被覆) 재배(栽培)의 기술(技術)을 적용(適用)한다면 제주도(濟州島) 및 남부지방(南部地方)에서의 감귤(柑橘)의 안전재배(安全栽培)와 재배(栽培) 면적(面積)의 확대(擴大)가 기대(期待)된다.

RDC/TMD Axis I 진단에 따른 측두하악장애 환자의 측두 두부방사선적 특징에 관한 연구 (Cephalometric Characteristics of TMD Patients based on RDC/TMD Axis I Diagnosis)

  • 본 연구는 측두하악장애의 연구 진단 기준(Research Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorder; RDC/TMD)을 이용하여 구분된 측두하악장애(Temporomandibular Disorder; TMD) 환자를 대상으로 안면의 골격적 양상과 TMD 사이의 연관성을 규명하고 교정 환자의 진단과 치료에 있어 RDC/TMD의 활용 가능성을 제시하고자 하였다. 서울대학교 치과병원 구강내과에 측두하악장애의 진단과 치료를 위해 내원한 여성 환자들의 의무 기록 및 방사선사진을 검토하였으며 환자의 연령이 18세 미만이거나 전신 질환, 골격적 기형 또는 측두하악관절 부위의 외상 병력이 있는 경우는 제외되었다. 총 96명의 여성 환자로부터 얻은 RDC/TMD Axis I 을 포함한 임상 검사 결과와 측방 두부규격방사선사진 (lateral cephalogram), 파노라마 방사선사진(panoramic radiograph) 및 횡두개 방사선사진(transcranial radiograph)을 이용한 방사선적 검사 결과를 분석하였다. RDC/TMD를 이용하여 집단을 분류한 후 측방 두부규격방사선사진의 각도 및 길이 요소들을 계측하여 안면의 골격 관계, 상하악 관계 및 치열 관계를 분석하였다. 통계적 분석법으로는 독립표본 t-검정(independent t-test), 일원분산분석(one-way Analysis of Variance; one-way ANOVA) 및 카이제곱 검정(chi-square test)을 이용하였고 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 근육 문제를 진단하는 RDC/TMD Axis I 의 제 1 군 측두 두부방사선적 특징에서 통계적 유의성이 인정되지 않았다. 2. 관절원판 변위를 임상적으로 진단하는 제 2 군에서는 개구 장애를 동반하지 않는 비정복성 관절원판 변위가 있는 경우 관절원판 변위가 없는 정상 집단에 비하여 articular angle이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 3. 관절통, 관절염 및 관절증을 진단하는 제 3 군에서는 articular angle, FMA, Bjork sum, posterior facial height 및 facial height ratio에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 4. TMD 진단군과 골격적 양상 사이의 관계를 단순화하기 위하여 RDC/TMD Axis I 각 군을 양분법적으로 분류한 뒤 동일 한 방식으로 분석을 시행하였다. 그 결과 제 1 군에서는 overjet, 제 2 군에서는 articular angle, facial height ratio 및 IMPA, 마지막으로 제 3 군에서는 articular angle, gonial angle, facial convexity, FMA, Bjork sum, posterior facial height, facial height ratio 및 ANB angle에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이상의 RDC/TMD Axis I 을 이용하여 진단된 측두하악장애 환자를 대상으로 안면의 골격적 양상과 TMD 사이의 연관성 을 분석한 결과로부터 RDC/TMD Axis I 임상 진단에 따라 진단한 측두하악장애 환자 중 제 2 군과 제 3 군의 환자들에서 측두하악장애와 관련된 것으로 알려진 하악골의 후하방 회전으로 인한 골격적 차이가 존재함을 확인하였다. RDC/TMD Axis I은 교정 전 혹은 교정 치료 진행 중에 임상 검사 및 일반 방사선사진으로부터의 제한된 정보를 바탕으로 교정 치료 중 고려하여야 할 TMD 환자를 감별하는데 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
