준설토를 활용한 경량혼합토의 역학적 특성 연구 (Mechanical Characteristics of Light-weighted Soils Using Dredged Soils)

  • 본 연구에서는 준설토, EPS 그리고 고화재를 혼합한 경량혼합토의 역학적 특성을 일축 및 삼축압축시험을 통하여 고찰하였다. 역학적 특성은 다양한 준설토의 초기 함수비, EPS 함유율, 시멘트 함유율 그리고 양생압력에 대한 경량혼합토의 압축강도에 대하여 연구하였다. 삼축압축상태에서 EPS를 함유한 경량혼합토의 압축강도는 유효구속압에 의존 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. EPS 함유율이 감소할수록($A_E$<2%) 그리고 시멘트 함유율이 증가할수록($A_c$>2%) 삼축압축강도-변형 거동특성은 극한 압축강도를 지나 급격한 압축강도의 감소를 보이는 시멘트 혼합토의 압축강도-변형 거동특성과 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 200kpa 이상의 압축강도를 요구하는 개량지반에 본 경량혼합토를 적용하는 경우에서 적절한 준설토의 초기함수비, EPS 함유율은 각각 약 165%~175%이상 그리고 3%~4%이상으로 제시할 수가 있었다. 삼축 및 일축압축상태에서 극한 압축강도는 시멘트 함유율이 2%이상에서 거의 증가하지 않음으로서 한계 시멘트 함유율은 2%로 제시할 수가 있었다.

  • This paper presents the results from experimental study that investigated to explore the load transfer characteristics of post-tensioning anchorage zones. The experimental program investigated the primary variables which affect the ultimate load, lateral strains and crack width: concrete compressive strength, details of reinforcement and shape of anchorage. Through this research, it was found that the governing factor of the ultimate load was not compressive cylinder strength but tensile splitting strength. Ultimate load was increased and lateral strain was decreased as the ratio of spiral increased because the lateral expansion of th concrete inside the spiral was restrained by the spiral. Furthermore, the shape of anchorage which can diminish the wedge effect of anchorage and disperse the anchorage force in various depths was more effective.

실선 보강판의 세장비 분포 및 평균 압축 강도 비교 연구 (Slenderness Ratio Distributions and Average Compressive Strengths of Stiffened Plates Used for In-Service Vessels)

  • This paper deals with two contents: first, distributions of plate slenderness ratios, stiffened plate slenderness ratios, and stiffener slenderness ratios, which include dimensions and material variables of stiffened plates, of stiffened plates of large-sized in-service vessels, and, second, comparison of compressive strengths. The investigated vessels consist of 59 tankers, 49 bulkers, 28 product carriers, 15 container carriers, and 12 multi-purpose vessels. The tankers are ranged from handymax class to VLCC and larger than Suezmax class. The sizes of the bulkers are 20K to 200K deadweight. The maximum size of containers is less than 5000TEU class. Two parameters for normal distributions of the slenderness ratios (mean and standard deviation) are suggested and probable ranges of the slenderness ratios are also graphically presented. The ultimate strengths of the stiffened plates are presented using the various simplified formulas and nonlinear FEAs. As well, average compressive strength curves, which are necessary for the estimation of the hull girder moment capacities, are proposed. It is proved that formulas for stiffened plates in CSR overestimate slightly in overall average strain range. Mode5 formula (plate buckling mode) in CSR show unreasonably conservative results with respect to the ultimate strengths rather than post-ultimate average compressive strengths.

  • 최근, 교량교각과 같은 기둥구조물의 사용성능을 향상시킴과 동시에 복잡한 도심지 내 효율적 공간활용을 위해 콘크리트 충전강관(CFT: concrete-filled steel tube)의 적용이 점차 증가하고 있다. 이러한 기둥구조물의 정확한 설계를 위해서는 재료 및 기하학적 특성에 따른 콘크리트 충전강관 기둥의 거동에 관한 실험적 연구가 요구된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 압축강도실험을 통하여 외경-두께비 (D/t) 및 강재-콘크리트 단면적비 (As/Ac)에 따른 콘크리트 충전강관 기둥의 극한강도 분포특성에 대해 명확히 파악하였다. 또한 콘크리트 배합강도에 따른 콘크리트 충전강관 기둥의 극한강도 분포특성을 실험을 통하여 명확히 파악하였다. 실험결과의 고찰을 통하여 압축하중을 받는 콘크리트 충전강관 기둥의 극한강도는 콘크리트 강도보다 강과의 단면특성에 주로 의존함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 압축플랜지의 설계는 단순히 종방향 보강재와 횡방향 보강재로 둘러싸인 서브패널(sub-panel)의 극한거동에 대해 적절한 안전율을 도입하여 이루어져 왔다. 그러나, 종방향 보강재의 수와 강성, 횡방향 보강재의 간격, 초기 변형량과 잔류응력의 분포 등 제 영향을 고려해서 압축플랜지 전체의 극한강도를 결정하는 것이 합리적이다. 본 연구에서는 Folded Plate 이론에 근거하여 압축플랜지에 대해 기하강성의 영향, 재료적 비선형성을 고려한 해석 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 바탕으로 국내에서 실제 시공된 강박스거더교의 압축플랜지에 적용하였다.

수중 불분리성 콘크리트의 부착 강도 특성에 관한 연구 (Bond Strength Properties of Antiwashout Underwater Concrete)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the bond strength properties of antiwashout underwater concrete. The arrangement of bars (vertical bar, horizontal upper bar, horizontal lower bar), condition of casting and curing (fresh water, sea water), type of fine aggregate (river sand, blended sand(river sand : sea sand = 1:1), and proportioning strength of concrete (210, 240, 270, 300, 330kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$)are chosen as the experimental parameters. The test results(ultimate bond stress) are compared with bond and development provisions of the ACI Building Code(ACI 318-89) and proposed equations from previous research(which was proposed by Orangun et. al). The experimental results show that ultimate bond stress of antiwashout underwater concrete which arranged bar on the horizontal lower, used the blend sand, and was cast and cured in the fresh water are higher that other conditions. The ultimate bond stress were increased in proportion to {{{{( SQRT {fcu }) }}3 2. From this study, rational analytic formula for the ultimate bond stress are to be from compressive strength of concrete.

An experiment on compressive profile of the unstiffened steel plate-concrete structures under compression loading

  • This study intends to examine the characteristics of compressive behavior and conducts comparative analysis between normal compressive strength under existing equations (LRFD, ACI 318, EC 4) and experimental the maximum compressive strength from the compression experiment for the unstiffened steel plate-concrete structures. The six specimens were made to evaluate the constraining factor (${\xi}$) and width ratio (${\beta}$) effects subjected to the compressive monotonic loading. Based on this experiments, the following conclusions could be made: first, compressive behaviors of the specimens from the finite element analysis closely agreed with the ones from the actual experiments; second, the higher the width ratio (${\beta}$) was, the lower the ductility index (DI) was; and third, the test results showed the maximum compressive strength with a margin by 7% compared to the existing codes.

콘크리트 구조물의 전단 안정성 평가를 위한 전단전달 실험 및 해석 (An Experimental and Analytical Study on Shear Transfer for Safety Evaluation of Concrete Structure)

  • This study, push-off tests for the initially uncracked specimens were conducted to investigate shear transfer mechanism in reinforce concrete elements. Experimental programs for shear transfer were undertaken to investigate the effect of the concrete compressive strength, the presence of steel stirrups as shear reinforcement and the amount of steel stirrups. As the shear plane is loaded, several cracks form in a direction inclined to the shear plane, creating compression struts in the concrete. For this stage, shear is being transferred through a truss-like action produced by the combination of the compressive force in the concrete struts and the tensile force that the steel reinforcement crossing the shear plane develops. In the normal strength concrete specimens with steel stirrups, ultimate failure occurred when the compression struts crushed in concrete. In the high strength concrete specimens, on the other hand, ultimate failure occurred when the steel stirrups developed their yield strength.

  • This study is based on the use and performance of bamboo reinforcements in construction of low-cost structures. This study investigated the physical and mechanical properties of bamboo reinforcements. Bamboo reinforced concrete beam specimens were tested with different reinforcement ratios and observed the load capacity, deflection and failure patterns. It was observed that, flexural strength of bamboo reinforced column is sufficient higher than plain cement concrete and comparable to steel reinforced concrete beams. Bamboo reinforced concrete columns with different reinforcement ratio also tested and observed the ultimate compressive strength and failure pattern. It found, all columns failed in a similar pattern due to crushing of concrete. According to cost analysis, bamboo reinforced beams and columns with moderate reinforcement ratio showed the best strength-cost ratio among plain cement concrete and steel reinforced concrete.
