향후 전자시장에서 운영될 유비쿼터스 서비스의 상용화를 위해서 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스를 평가하는 것은 매우 중요한 이슈로 대두된다. 그러나 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스에 대한 평가의 중요성과 유용성에도 불구하고, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스의 평가는 아주 초기단계에 머물러 있다. 더우기, 무엇이 '유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스'인지의 기준에 대한 연구도 충분히 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스를 평가하는 통합 방법론을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 다계층 접근법은 기술적 관점 뿐만 아니라 행태적인 관점도 동시에 포함하고 있다. 평가 모델의 실행 가능성을 보이기 위해, 3가지의 사용 예를 연구하고 평가하였다.

Ubiquitous computing is a vision of our future computing lifestyle in which computer systems seamlessly integrate into our everyday lives, providing services and information in anywhere and anytime fashion. Augmented reality (AR) can naturally complement ubiquitous computing by providing an intuitive and collaborative visualization and simulation interface to a three-dimensional information space embedded within physical reality. This paper presents a service framework and its applications for providing context-aware u-car maintenance services using augmented reality, which can support a rich set of ubiquitous services and collaboration. It realizes bi-augmentation between physical and virtual spaces using augmented reality. It also offers a context processing module to acquire, interpret and disseminate context information. In particular, the context processing module considers user's preferences and security profile for providing private and customer-oriented services. The prototype system has been implemented to support 3D animation, TTS (Text-to-Speech), augmented manual, annotation, and pre- and post-augmentation services in ubiquitous car service environments.

Ubiquitous computing which is providing various convenient services to user will prevail in future. To realize ubiquitous service, analyzing technical and information factors for service implementation is necessary. This paper defines ubiquitous service model to satisfy user demands and we analyze technical and information factors in order to realize services. Based on the factors, we extracts and classifies common compositions of ubiquitous services to suggest guidelines of service design.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술을 적용한 서비스들이 지속적으로 발전하고 있으며, 이를 사용하기 위한 다양한 기기들 또한 발전하고 있다. 그러나 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스(UCS)에 대한 분류가 모호하고 어떠한 평가지표로써 UCS를 평가해야 할지 판단하기 어렵다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 UCS의 특징과 분류를 정의하고 이에 기반한 평가지표를 도출한다. 또한 도출한 평가지표의 체크리스트를 제안함으로써 UCS를 사용하기 위한 사용자의 선택을 지원한다.

The mobile computing environment has already matured and mobile services are activated throughout many industries. In the following years, these changes are expected to evolve into a ubiquitous computing environment. In the meantime, whether newly developed information technologies will thrive or diminished depends on user's intention to adopt them. Hence, the necessity of user-centered research considering ubiquitous computing in mobile computing environment is obvious. This study, thus, investigated ubiquitous factors in various literature related to ubiquitous computing and technology acceptance and it proposes a research model of the ubiquitous factors affecting user's intention to use mobile services, in terms of meaning(connectivity, mobility), service(contextual offer), compatibility(compatibility), and infrastructure(privacy, truth). The proposed model is expected to help both researchers and practitioners extend their understanding about the ubiquitous factors in mobile computing environment

차세대 정보통신 기술의 가장 중요한 패러다임으로 '유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅'이 새롭게 주목 받고있다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스 시스템을 개발하기 위한 중요한 초점 중의 하나는 이동 객체(사용자)의 시간과 이벤트의 관계를 파악하고 이동 객체의 위치 데이타로부터 시공간 이동 패턴을 추론하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경 내에서 사용자에게 시간과 관련된 서비스를 적절히 제공하기 위해서 다음과 같은 연구를 한다. 첫째, 서비스 관점에서의 시간적 추론(Temporal Reasoning)이다. 둘째, 사용자의 취향을 기록하기 위한 시간적 추론(Temporal Reasoning)이다. 각 사용자들은 각자의 취향을 가지고 있으며 이는 시간과 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있다. 시간과 관련된 사용자의 취향이 기록된 각 사용자 프로파일을 기반으로 서비스 지원 시스템은 적절한 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.

최근 들어, 유비쿼터스 기술에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 기술에 기반을 둔 컨벤션 산업의 서비스 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저, 컨벤션 산업에 대한 서비스 기능 및 서비스 절차, 그리고 참여자들간의 관계 및 수익 원천에 대해 제시한다. 제시하는 서비스 기능은 전시 서비스, 회의 서비스, 광고지원서비스, 그리고 업무지원서비스로 구성된다. 또한 전체적인 서비스 절차와 참여자들간의 관계를 가치창출 원천과 함께 제시한다.

The purpose of this study is to seek new u-business services in restaurant management. Using the concept of business model methodology in family restaurant management domain, this study identifies customers' needs in services at the stage of management of purchase of materials, the production management, and the sales management. In addition, this study suggests two killer applications of a family restaurant management linking with the latest ubiquitous computing technologies: the service of the customer-oriented menu recommendation and the service of the inventory-oriented menu recommendation. These findings may offer practical insights in the context of ubiquitous service model of restaurant management.

본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술을 활용하여 대형 도서매장에서 적용될 수 있는 수요자 기반의 u 비즈니스 서비스를 설계하였다. 이를 위하여 대형 도서매장의 업무 프로세스를 분석하고, 현재 제공되고 있는 서비스 사용자로부터 충족되지 못하고 있는 요구사항 또는 새로운 서비스 개발 요구사항을 조사한 다음, 이러한 요구사항을 만족시킬 수 있는 u 비즈니스 서비스를 설계하였다. 설계된 서비스들은 평가모형에 따라 통계적 분석을 진행한 다음 킬러 서비스를 도출하고, 이를 지원하기 위한 자원 시스템을 설계하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 전개될 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 필요로 하는 사용자 요구사항에 근거한 비즈니스 서비스를 제시함으로써, 관련 기술개발을 위한 타당성을 제시함과 동시에 비즈니스 모델개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
