Games Development Methodology as a Teaching Tool for Elementary School: Case Study of Developing History Learning Game (초등 교과 학습 도구로서의 게임 개발 방법론: 역사 게임 개발 연구 사례를 중심으로)

  • This paper introduces an educational game development method for the purpose of designing game as part of school curriculum activities, base on experimental case of making history learning game for private elementary schools in Korea. Our first approach was to define a game as a educational learning tool like any other media and mediating platform such as smart phones or other applications. We regard user as a player, and students as a end user and decision making-customers. Unlike other game development process we brought service design methode to the development process, making a game platform that is specially designed for teachers' teaching tool, which is easy and effective to use to ther subject of teacher's intention. Based on our research case, we suggest educational games development methodology which can be better suited for games with school curriculum in learning environment.

  • This study started with the question "Shall we apply the existing record management method to our trivial daily records?" For the general public, we focus on media that thinks more about daily recordings and suggests a better method, suggesting a 'social platform' as a plan, and using the user's visual approach through UX design methodology. The social archive proposed in this study aims to be a 'square' where various people can gather and communicate and share. A space that can record daily life using 'record' as a basic body Purpose It aims to provide the basis for basic research in various fields, and aims to function as a space for communication of various research things such as researchers and researchers, researchers and producers. In order to maintain, focus on the prerequisites of the existing construction, the items to be researched when constructing the daily archive are 'creative methodology to change research items when building a paradigm', 'network with related organizations', 'service plans for persistence', and characteristics of social media. We discussed the possibility of social media as a social archive platform. Finally, while looking at the user experience design process, I designed some features of the social archive and suggested things to do in UX design.

  • In this paper, VR smart factory XR content tailored to process execution scenarios was produced to reflect the characteristics of XR content, which is highly dependent on HDM, unlike general-purpose content software for UX/UI design and usability evaluation of digital twin-based XR content in manufacturing. HMD equipment called Qculus Quest2 was used to perform the process execution task scenario for XR content, and content production was made through Unity Engine and SteamVR Plugin.

  • In mobile content services like apps for smart mobile devices in specific, there has been a growing interest in evaluating UX quality to make sure that it provides better experience to users and consequently, secures competitiveness in a market. In that sense, usability testing has been considered as one method that enables designers and design managers to evaluate UI quality before they launch their service. However, those designers have been faced with a following fundamental question to be answere d : Is good UX design a good business? In other words, can well-designed service, which has good usability, actually satisfy target users and improve competitiveness in a market? There is no doubt that usability is one important factor perceived by users. However, it has a limit in terms of evaluating UX quality in macro level, as it mostly focuses on ease of use and efficiency of performing tasks, but does not cover other possible experiential factors, which also can be perceived by users, such as market situation and preexistence experience. Therefore, this research aims to identify key experiential factors in using mobile content services, and establish service UX index model that enables to measure perceived user satisfaction, and identify how UX design contributes to the satisfaction in quantitative way.

  • In this paper research covers a study on the need for smart TV according to smart TV 'smart' of issues, consider the changing elements of paradigm, according to the evolution of TV, from the point of view of the user experience analyze the Applications of Smart TV UX. Through analysis of user behavior from the current viewpoint of the TV and Future TV, reflected in the design of Smart TV UX. Ultimately for efficiently operating the contents, screen proposed a prototype for personalized intelligent user based on UX design. Ultimately, to satisfy the playfulness for the course of using the TV as the primary goal and content through the TV content easily to the desired goal to be reached quickly and easily at the point of how to approach the user's destination, shorten the access path is proposed in this study.

  • In this work, we design and implement a prototype of the mobile UX that works with blockchain-based smart contract systems so that artists and buyers who trade artworks through social media can find reliable trading partners and make secure transactions with each other. The developed prototype has the following characteristics. Utilizing prototypes, we cost-effectively validate the design of mobile UX(User Experience). First, we implement familiar UXs that social media users can use without additional explanation. Second, it is possible to check the reputation of the counterpart and encourage users to make fair deals that can increase their own reputation. Third, it implement the UX for common use by users around the world. Fourth, we design and implement to operate independently of the social media system.

UX Elements and Effects of Fashion Shopping Apps Based on Multipersona Characteristics of MZ generation (MZ세대의 멀티퍼소나 특성을 반영한 패션 쇼핑 앱의 UX 요소에 대한 연구)

  • MZ Generation has multipersona and characteristics that create various egos depending on the situation, and fashion styling is also expressed differently by each persona. Thus, this study investigates how to provide a multipersona or characteristic user experience to fashion shopping applications. Traditional fashion shopping apps, which focus on items, colors, and advertisements, have difficulty solving the problems of MZ generation fashion, so it is necessary to actively utilize their characteristics. We investigate the definitions and characteristics of multipersona and generation MZ, and identify the shopping behavior of generation MZ through prior research. We also analyze cases and improvements that indirectly utilize multipersona in fashion shopping apps. Four UX elements were derived through user interviews to identify needs and It was possible to derive positive effects, such as providing a shopping experience by forming one's own fashion characters in a personalized fashion beyond the existing fashion recommendation frame, which helps to worry about styling and gives a different experience.

  • 디바이스 사용 환경이 다양해지면서 이를 고려한 반응형 UI/UX 개념이 대두되고 있다. 이를 위해 기존 데스크탑 기반의 UI에 국한되지 않고 다양한 모바일 디바이스 환경 및 사용자 특성을 고려한 적응적인 UI/UX를 제공해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-21을 기반으로 반응형 웹 UI/UX를 제공하는 새로운 프레임워크를 제안한다. 기존 반응형 웹 디자인은 주로 조합한 여러 단위 기술을 이용하여 해상도의 변화에 반응하여 엘리먼트를 적응 시키는 방법을 사용한다. 제안하는 기술은 단일 프레임워크를 이용하여 컨텐츠 및 리소스를 보다 다양한 환경 정보를 사용하여 적응시킨다. 이는 기존 방법과 비교하여 서비스 제공자가 많은 종류의 리소스 및 데이터를 서비스 함에 있어 3rd 파티 컨텐츠 프로바이더의 참여 및 수정이 용이하도록 하였으며 자동으로 사용자 환경을 파악하여 맞춤형 컨텐츠 제공이 가능하도록 한다.

  • 최근 자동차 인스트루먼트 패널은 디지털 콕핏으로써 차량 상태 외에도 다양한 정보와 기능을 제공한다. 그러나 무분별하게 표시되는 정보는 오히려 운전자의 주행 집중을 방해하기에, 운전자에게 필요한 정보만을 효율적으로 제공하기 위한 디자인 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 자동차 제조사 및 부품사의 양산 차량과 콘셉트카의 디지털 콕핏을 분석해 도출한 개인화, 연결성, 사용성이라는 주요 키워드를 토대로 글로벌 자동차의 UX/UI 동향과 기술개발 현황을 분석하였고, 이를 기반으로 미래 자동차 디지털 콕핏의 발전 방향을 키워드별로 제시하였다.
