포토폴리머 홀로그램의 실용적 응용을 위한 그 열적 특성 분석 (Analysis of thermal properties of the photo polymer hologram for practical applications)

  • 본 논문에서는 포토폴리머에 기록된 Bragg 회절 격자의 열적 특성을 측정하였다. 532 nm의 Nd:YAG 레이저를 이용하여 DuPont HRF-l50-38 필름에 홀로그램 격자를 기록하고, 온도 노출 조건에 따라 회절효율을 측정하였다. 열 노출 후 홀로그램 기록에서는 $100^{\circ}C$이하에서 $70\%$이상의 높은 회절 효율을 보인 반면 더 높은 온도에서는 급격히 떨어졌다. 홀로그램 기록 후 열 노출에서는 UV 정착 효과에 따라 $100^{\circ}C$까지는 $10\%$ 정도의 효율 증가를 보여주었지만, $120^{\circ}C$이상에서는 홀로그램이 지워지는 현상이 관찰되었다.

Reaction of Cr Atoms with O2 at Low Pressures: Observation of New Chemiluminescence Bands from CrO2*

  • Ground and low-lying electronic states of Cr atoms in the gas phase were generated from photolysis of $Cr(CO)_6$ vapor in He or Ar using an unfocussed weak UV laser pulse and their reactions with $O_2$ and $N_2O$ were studied. When 0.5-1.0 Torr of $Cr(CO)_6$ /$O_2$ /He or Ar mixtures were photolyzed using 295-300 nm laser pulses, broadband chemiluminescence peaked at ~420 and ~500 nm, respectively, was observed in addition to the atomic emissions from $z^7P^{\circ}$, $z^5P^{\circ}$, and $y^7P^{\circ}$ states of Cr atoms. When $N_2O$ was used instead of $O_2$, no chemiluminescence was observed. The chemiluminescence intensities as well as the LIF intensities for those three low-lying electronic states ($a^7S_3,\;a^5S_2\;and\;a^5D_J$) showed second-order dependence on the photolysis laser power. Also, the chemiluminescence intensities were first-order in $O_2$ pressure, but the presence of excess Ar showed a strong inhibition effect on them. Based on the experimental results, the chemiluminecent species in this work is attributed to $CrO_2^*$ generated from hot ground state Cr atoms with $O_2$. The apparent radiative lifetimes of the chemiluminescent species and collisional quenching rate constants by $O_2$ and Ar also were investigated.

  • 마스크를 이용하여 니켈 시드층의 형성 후 실버 도금을 통해 태양전지 상부전극을 형성하는 2 단계 전극형성 공정이 태양전지의 고효율화 방안으로 제안되었다. 본 연구에서는, 자외선 경화형 혹은 상변화 잉크를 고비용의 인쇄공정을 통해 마스크를 형성하는 방법을 대신하여, 코팅과 레이저의 복합공정을 통해 마스크를 형성하는 방법에 대해 제안하도록 한다. 마스크를 형성하는 물질로서 저비용의 저융점 왁스 혹은 플루오르카본 용액을 태양전지 웨이퍼 상에 코팅 후 레이저로 선택적으로 제거하여 전극패턴을 형성하였으며, 플루오르카본 용액 코팅이 왁스 코팅보다 패턴 균일도 측면에서 우수할 뿐만 아니라 통계적으로 0.16% 태양전지 효율증대를 유발한다는 점이 발견되었다.

비전리방사선을 이용한 미생물 균주 멸균효과 (Sterilization Effect of Microbial Strains by using Non-ionizing Radiation)

  • 전 세계적으로 중증 급성 호흡 증후군 코로나바이러스에 의해 감염예방 및 사회적 인식이 크게 변화되었으며, 그로 인해 의료 원내감염 노출이 높은 환자에 관한 감염관리 지침 및 과정을 더 강화하고 관리감시를 더 철저히 하고 있다. 감염예방을 위해서는 멸균이 최우선으로 시행이 되어야 하며, 저비용, 쉬운 설치와 조작이 쉬운 멸균법을 찾아 적절한 멸균효과를 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 충치균을 오염시켜 출력 4 W, 조사 시간 60, 150, 300 sec로 자외선 살균기를 이용하였으며, 레이저는 출력 0.8, 1.5 W로 각각 파장 266, 355 nm로 조사하였다. 자외선 살균기는 150 sec 이상에서 감염예방에 안전성을 나타내었으며, 레이저는 1.5 W와 0.8 W, 266 nm에서 예방의 안전성을 나타내었다. 결과에서 출력이 높고 253.7 nm에 가까운 파장일수록 멸균효과는 뛰어났다.

유리의 미세구조를 이용한 장기보존형 기록재료에 관한 연구 (A Study of Long Term Recording Reserved Type Material by Using Glass Micro-structure)

  • Recently, there are a lot of study to alternate polycarbonate which is being used as storage material in CD, DVD. In this study, we alternated polycarbonate with glass. We observed the change of shape in a surface of the glass which was focused by Nd:YAG Laser. The change of shape and property was studied by thermal mechanical analysis (TMA), UV-Vis spectrometer, AFM and SEM. According to Laser power and quantity of additives, the Bump's size and shape are showed differently. In high energy, the Bump will be transformed into Pit. And also according to CTE, $T_d$ and absorption ratio of glass, difference between Bump and Pit is confirmed. From these investigation, we could control that the minimum size of bump which is more useful shape than pit's is about 1.3 $\mu$m, H 70 nm, and it is near same the spot size.

Pulsed Nd:YAG 레이저 조사와 불소화합물 도포가 치아 내산성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser Irradiation and Fluoride Compound Applicatin on Acid Resistance of Bovine Teeth)

  • This study was designed to determine the most effective concentration of fluoride and levels of laser irradiation for the remineralization of decayed teeth. After irradiation with a pulsed Nd:YAG laser and the topical application of fluoride, phosphate and fluoride concentration in enamel were measured. And then the changes on surface enamel using an scanning electron microscope were observed. Samples by extraction healthy, permanent, mandibular bovine teeth with no caries were obtained. Among them 371 healthy samples were selected and artificial carious lesions were made. 20 samples were assigned to each experimental group. After irradiation with a pulsed Nd:YAG laser with total energy densities of 10J/$\textrm{cm}^2$, 20J/$\textrm{cm}^2$ for each group. On the teeth, 2% NaF, 1.9% NH4F, 1.6% TiF4 Elmex gel(amine fluoride) and 1.23% APF gel were applied. After pH circulatory procedures, concentrations of fluoride with and Ionalyzer (Orion Research, Model 901, USA) and phosphates with an Uv/V is spectrophotometer (Uvikon 860, Kontrom Co, Switzerland) were measured. By etching the teeth in layers and measuring fluoride concentrations, a profile of fluoride penetration according to depth could be developed. And also the changes on the surface of the enamel using an electron scanning microscope were observed. The comparative analysis yielded the following results : 1. Phosphate concentration was low in all groups compared with the control group except for teeth treated Elmex gel, irradiated with 10J/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and 30J/$\textrm{cm}^2$ energy densities. Teeth treated with APF gel and 30J/$\textrm{cm}^2$ irradiation gad the lowest phosphate concentration. 2. Among all groups, fluoride concentrations in tooth enamel were highest in APF gel and NaF groups irradiated at 30J/$\textrm{cm}^2$. The APF gel group had the highest fluoride concentrations across all energy densities. 3. In the APF gel group, and the NaF group, the greater the energy density of the laser, the higher the fluoride concentrations in the enamel. 4. In all groups, the concentration of fluoride in the enamel by depth tended to decrease with depth. 5. Under the scanning electron microscope, under the condition of irradiation with 20J/$\textrm{cm}^2$, enamel crack was detected for the first time. In the NH4F group, spherical deposits were found on the surface of the enamel, and in the TiF4 group the surface of enamel was covered with an irregular, thin membranous mass in places. In the APF gel and NaF groups irradiated with 10J/$\textrm{cm}^2$, spherical and irregular particles covered the teeth. When these groups were irradiated at 20J/cm2, they were covered with amorphous crystals. These results suggest that one could obtain more effective anticariogenic effects without damage to teeth when less than 20J/$\textrm{cm}^2$ energy densities and APF gel are used.

  • Silent gas discharge method has been widely applied for ozone production, ultraviolet light and UV laser generation. Since ozone and ultraviolet applications have tendency to spread widely in industry, the development of efficient and low-cost power supply for such systems is a task of great impotency. This paper introduces high-frequency inverter type mode power supply designed for ozone generation tube and ultraviolet generation excimer lamp and considerations on this inverter and pulse density modulation control strategy applied in it.

  • BLU(back light unit) is one of kernel parts of LCD(liquid crystal display) unit. New 3-D micro-lens pattern for LGP(light guide plate), one of the most important parts of LCD-BLU, had been researched. Instead of dot pattern made by chemical etching or laser ablation, SCS(slanted curved surface) micro-lens pattern was designed with optical CAE simulation. This study introduce the method of design using optical CAE simulation for SCS micro-lens, the new fabrication method of micro-mold with SCS micro-lens pattern.

  • 본 논문은 다이오드 레이저와 광 다이오드를 사용한 이중 빗살형 다이오드 레이저 비색 분광기를 개발하여 항균 성분의 양이온 계면 활성제로 널리 사용되고 있는 cetylpyridinium chloride(CPC)의 농도를 측정하였다 분광기의 안정도는 광원의 세기, 감도, 재현성을 측정한 예비 실험을 통하여 검증이 되었다 또한 상용화된 UV/VIS분광기와의 비교 결과를 나타내었다. 다이오드 비색 분광기는 3×10/sup -5/M에서 1.1×10/sup -4/M의 CPC 농도 범위에서 0.9635의 상관계수를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 CPC의 농도 분석을 위한 간편한 다이오드 레이저 비색 분광기 개발의 가능성을 나타내었다.

  • Recently, Study of 3D freeform fabrication method was working in the various applications. For example, in the powder base, it's laminated using a binding method or laser sintering method. However, these methods are not suitable in the office environments because it dust with powder that is bad for health. In this paper, we introduce a method of 3D freeform fabrication using a curing of photo-polymer resin and construct a system has multi printing head. A photo-polymer curing method has simply fabrication process and high strength of manufacturing part. However, this method has a problem on the multi print-head system. Because multi-printing system has a other printing method compare with a single printing system. Therefore, we experiment a single head 3D printing and proposed a 3D printing method using a multi-piezo head.
