A hierarchical routing protocol of suggest to Sensor network reconfiguration (센서 네트워크의 재배치를 고려한 계층적 라우팅 프로토콜)

  • In IP-USN for replacing the sensor network based on Zigbee by IP-based it, routing and the address assignment technique for sensor node are important focuses. But, there is a weak point in existing hierarchical routings. It is that all paths must be searched because the end node isn't considered. And the end node based muting is not sufficient in the mobile sensor network environment because it supports the only simple-path-search. Hereupon, this thesis suggests ComHRP(Complement HRP) that have the only merits of existing methods. The address assignment technique and search method are also proposed. ComHRP simplifies the organization of sensor networks and reduces network complexity. Also, It can efficiently deal with restructuring networks for the unpredictable ubiquitous sensor network feature.

  • Government is supporting development of home networking. But, this new system is much expensive to introduce in the home. And limit for establishment is so many in the home. Therefore, in this paper, We escape from monotonic control of Home Automation and draw a plan Intelligent Home Automation to be developed. We reflect Home Network to the foundation and propose Home Automation on Ubiquitous Sensor Network, We Design of Ubiquitous Home Automation System for 35-Pyung Apartment Based on USN Environment. This becomes the Home Automatic Behavior System which is executed to the automatic to be improved.

  • If industrial disasters happen at workplace, work's desires of workers and business activities may be dispirited. Especially, industrial disasters frequently happen in the field of heavy and chemical industry companies. According to report of the korea occupational safety and health agency(KOSHA), damage due to industrial disasters is more 5 times than losses due to industrial strifes. Thus, in these manufacturing companies, a safety management field for preventing industrial disasters is emerging as an important factor of business activities. This paper proposes an industrial disaster prediction model for safety management and also implements industrial safety management system(after this, is called as u-Safety system) based on the proposed model using ubiquitous computing technologies like USN(ubiquitous sensor networks) which are given much attention among recent information technologies. The implemented system is successfully operating in the shipbuilding division of 'H' companies.

  • In ubiquitous sensor networks(USN) environment, it is essential to process region query for user-demand services. Using R-tree is a preferred technique to process region query for in-network query environment. In USN environment, USN middleware must select sensors that transfers region query with accuracy because the lifetime of sensors is that of whole sensor networks. When R-tree is used, however, it blindly passes the region query including non-existent sensors where MBR(Minimum Boundary Rectangle) of R-tree is Intersected by region of query. To solve in this problem, we propose a reconstruction of region query method which is a trie-structured Quad tree in the base station that includes sensors in region of query select with accuracy. We observed that the proposed method delays response time than R-tree, but is useful for reducing communication cost and energy consumption.

  • The Underground pipeline facility is a general but most important facility in modern world, but its maintainability has been left behind. An automated and intelligent management technology is needed to prevent the wast of social resource and security. In this paper, we introduce Pipeline Health Monitoring(PHM) with Ubiquitous Sensor Network(USN) for inexpensive structure safety monitoring system, and improve its utility by inventing the advanced impedance converter.

  • In this paper, we propose a new traceability system that integrates ubiquitous sensor network for monitoring agricultural environment. The proposed system using EPC network can provide informations of agro-livestock products traceability quickly and efficiently. Moreover, this system with RFID Technology gives intelligence of distribution and record. Because of new agro-livestock products traceability system, farm family's income will increase with customer satisfaction.

  • In the sensor network, a lot of sensor nodes are scattered sparsely and organizes a united communication network between each node. After that, environmental information around each sensor node are gathered and analyzed. Because each node operates under resource constraint, the efficiency and hardware specification of a node should be maximized. There exist technical constraints until now but recent technical progress in IC fabrication and wireless network enables to construct a tiny embedded system, which has the properties of low cost, low power consumption, multi functions. Wireless sensor network becomes a modern research field with technical improvements, is studied in numerous laboratories, and is called as diverse different project names - Wireless Integrated Network Sensors (WINS), Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET), Ubiquitous Sensor Network (USN). TinyOS is one of leading project and is widely used. In this paper, we suggest a sensor network, which uses TinyOS platforms and aims for context awareness in a home environment.

  • In the near future various new services will be created by using ubiquitous computing and ubiquitous network. Especially u-LBS(Ubiquitous Location Based Services) is recognized as one of the most important services. U-LBS is based on the data created by recognizing objects including both human and matters at any time and anywhere. Many researches related with object locating method by using RF are in the process of studying However there are few researches on the location of objects. In this paper we propose the recognition method of the location of objects by using RF and USN technology. In detail, the strength of RF signal is used to recognize the location of objects. Also we discuss about the future work to enhance the recognition rate of location by using a number of conditions including the weather, temperature etc. And Genetic Algorithm is used to get the optimal parameters with which we can get the more exact recognition rate of location.
