Purpose: This research aims at quality improvement of website services on the internet. Methods: SERVQUAL is redefined for web environments as sixteen statements in five dimensions to identify user requirements for websites and measure their importance ratings. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is used to integrate user requirements into service development for websites so that management and design guidelines can be obtained for user-oriented websites. Fuzzy set theory is introduced to resolve the ambiguity and subjectivity of user requirements in the House of Quality (HOQ). Results: The priorities of design characteristics are extracted from the Fuzzy QFD for University websites. Conclusion: It is expected to provide quality services in less time with less effort, if the results of the Fuzzy QFD are used to provide services in a strategic way under limited resources.

This paper presents mutual authentication scheme between user and network on mobile communications using public key scheme based on counter, and simultaneously shows key agreement between user and user using random number for secure communications. This is also a range of possible solutions to authentication and key agreement problem-authentication and key agreement protocol based on nonce and count, and secure end-to-end protocol based on the function Y=f(.)$\^$1/, C$\^$i/ is count of user I, and f(.) is one way function.

In the large and multifunctional engineering system, the heterogeneous computer system situation is inevitable. Accordingly a lot of integration efforts are being made to comply with the industrial requirement of productivity. In this paper, a practical concept of integration is introduced through the development of a prototype system for ship outfitting design which is a typical example of large/multi-functional application system. On the development of the prototype system, three points are considered as a practical concept-which are integration of database, integration of application programs, and system-user interface. The relation model based commercial database management system(RDBMS) is used to build the project integrated database, and the graphical user interface tool(OSF/Motif) on X-window system is used for the integration of application programs and the user interface.

Grid computing enables the fundamental computing shift from a localized resource computing model to a fully-distributed virtual organization with shared resources. In the grid computing environment, grid users usually get access rights by mapping their credential to local account. The mapped total account is temporally belongs to grid user. So, data on the secondary storage, which is produced by grid operation, can increase the load of system administration or can issue grid user's privacy. In this paper, we design a data management system for grid user to cover these problems. This system implements template account mechanism and manages local grid data.

Research in the decision sciences has continued to develop a variety of mathematical models as well as software tools supporting corporate decision-making. Yet. in spite of their potential usefulness, the models are little used in real-world decision making since the model solution processes are too complex for ordinary users to get accustomed. This paper proposes an intelligent and flexible model-solver integration framework that enables the user to solve decision problems using multiple models and solvers without having precise knowledge of the model-solution processes. Specifically, for intuitive model-solution, the framework enables a decision support system to suggest the compatible solvers of a model autonomously without direct user intervention and to solve the model by matching the model and solver parameters intelligently without any serious conflicts. Thus, the framework would improve the productivity of institutional model solving tasks by relieving the user from the burden of leaning model and solver semantics requiring considerable time and efforts.

본 연구는 학자들의 전자학술저널 이용행태분석을 통하여 전자학술저널의 효율적인 관리방안을 제시하고자 한다. 전자저널의 개념적 특성, 이용자의 사고, 경험 등을 파악하기 위하여 학자들의 전자저널 이용행태를 대학교수 집단을 대상으로 표본조사가 실시된다. 전자학술저널의 이용행태에 대하여 다양한 측면에서 분석된 자료를 기초로 도서관이나 정보센터에 이용가능한 전자학술저널에 대한 전반적인 관리방안을 도출한다.

본고는 1980년대와 90년대를 거쳐 미국과 캐나다에서 활발히 이루어졌던 기록정보 서비스에 대한 논쟁을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 기록정보 서비스의 본질과 의미를 고찰하고자 한다. 당시 학자들은 논쟁을 통해 기록관리가 기록 중심에서 이용자 중심으로 바뀌어야 하는가에 대해 다양한 의견을 피력했고, 기록관리의 의미와 원칙에 대해 재확인했다. 이러한 이용자 중심의 기록정보 서비스 논쟁을 바탕으로 본고의 후반부에서는 한국의 정보공개 청구 중심으로 이루어지는 기록정보 서비스를 살펴보고 문제를 제기하였다.

본 연구는 데이터 웨어하우스 환경에서 어떤 메타데이터를 어떻게 관리하는 가를 알아보기 위하여, 데이터 웨어하우징을 위한 3 가지 메타데이터 관리 스키마(추출 메타데이터, 웨어하우스 메타메이터, 사용자 접근 메타데이터)를 이용한다. 특히, 3 가지 메타데이터 중에서 사용자의 데이터 웨어하우스에 대한 접근과 그 활용을 위한 웨어하우스 메타데이터와 사용자 접근 메타데이터에 초점을 두고 이들 메타데이터 관리에 대한 사례를 연구한다.

The Quality of Experience (QoE) of next Generation wired/wireless network services based upon IP networking is becoming a popular issue in recent years. The user experience of Internet services such as IPTV, online game, web surfing and etc, are becoming the most desirable factors to service providers to improve service performance and customer's satisfaction. However, collecting user experience from customers and obtaining the QoE parameters from the Quality of Service (QoS) parameters such as bandwidth, delay, jitter or admission control algorithm, are difficult subjects because of the various service types and user characteristics. In this paper, we propose a framework which contains service classification, QoE analysis and service enhancement steps for a suitable QoE measurement and management protocol. We define the user satisfaction indicators of the Internet services, classify the categories of each type of services, and analyse the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) in each type of services to perform the QoS parameters and improving the service qualities.

공인인증서는 온라인 금융거래와 증권거래 등에서 사용자의 신원 확인을 위해 사용된다. 이때 사용자의 공개키는 공인인증서에 저장되며, 이 공개키에 대응되는 사용자의 개인키는 보안을 위해 사용자가 설정하는 패스워드로 암호화 되어 개인키 저장파일에 저장된다. 본 연구에서는 로컬에서 공인인증서에 접근하는 현재의 방식에 문제점을 지적하고 이를 해결할 수 있는 방법으로 모바일 공인인증서 관리 어플리케이션을 제안한다.
