This paper presents the methods to solve the problem about Power System Protection Program(PROSET) and describe the database relation and schema with UML. PROSET is a overall program system to protect power system and correct it. In the context of the PROSET it is so difficult to edit database data when topology is changed. When the renewal of data is performed. all changed values are disappeared. Therefore, it will not be expected to know the present situation by using the information of the databases data. So it is necessary to solve this problem. Solution is copy of the user. Only E.R diagram is used to express database schema and relation. So, in this paper, UML(Unified Modeling Language) will be used to express PROSET and database of MCD-H and MDT-H.

The marked increase in the number of environmental problems, combined with the increase in their intensity and spatial extent, has resulted in an ever-increasing need for constant monitoring. This is complicated by the occurrence of new and complicated environmental issues that often prevent a thorough understanding of the entire monitoring framework. In the present study, a diagrammatic method was developed to present the entire framework of a monitoring plan. The diagram was separated into three sections- "Problem Section", "Research Process and Data Section" and "Entities Section" - to clearly present the disparate relationships between monitoring objectives and the monitoring procedure. Notation of the diagrams was undertaken using Unified Modeling Language (UML). A hypothetical monitoring plan for an environmental problem was designed to assess usefulness of the diagrammatic method. The diagram was capable of reviewing and revising the monitoring plan and could be used to select a monitoring procedure according to the monitoring objectives of the plan. The results suggested that this diagrammatic method was effective for designing an appropriate monitoring plan for a given monitoring objective.

오늘날 시스템의 개발 및 유지보수는 점점 더 어려운 문제가 되고 있다. 시스템은 갈수록 거대하고 복잡ㆍ다양해져 가는데 반해 시스템 기능에 대한 사용자들의 요구사항은 끊임없이 증가하여 수시로 수정ㆍ보완 및 확장을 요구하고 있다. 특히 웹의 등장과 그 활용의 증가로 웹 환경에 적합한 시스템개발은 더욱 어려운 문제가 되고 있다. 급변하는 환경 속에서 융통성(flexibility) 및 재사용(reuse)을 기반으로 한 객체지향 기술은 이러한 시스템개발의 문제들을 해결해 주는 대안으로 주목받고 있으며, 분석 및 설계과정에서 시스템개발의 산출물들을 명세화, 시각화, 문서화하는 모델링 언어로서 UML(Unified Modeling Language)이 1997년에 OMG의 표준으로 받아들여지면서 그 활용도가 점점 증가하고 있다.(중략)

상품분류체계 중 가장 많이 사용하는 UNSPSC와 HS를 선정하여 각 상품분류체계의 구성 및 구조와 그 특징을 파악하고 분류명에 대한 온톨로지를 분석하였다. 상품분류체계의 번호체계 및 각 자릿수에 대한 이해를 충분히 하고 UML을 이용하여 모델링을 하였다. 상품분류체계 중 대상 범위에 대한 토픽맵을 개발한 뒤 그래프로 표현하고 최종적으로 개별 상품분류체계에 대한 토픽맵을 통합하여 상품분류체계의 온톨로지를 통합함으로써 계층 및 구조가상이한 상품분류체계 간의 정보교환을 용이하게 할 수 있게 하였다.

일반적으로 프로그램을 배우는 초보자들은 텍스트 기반으로 프로그램을 하는 것이 매우 어렵다. 이러한 문제를 쉽게 풀기 위한 한 방법이 Visual C++, Visual Basic, Delphi와 같은 비주얼 프로그램으로 구현하는 것이다. 그러나 이러한 프로그램을 배우는 학습자들 역시, 비주얼 컴포넌트 작동에 대한 텍스트 프로그래밍을 어려워하고 있다. 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 논리적 사고를 표현하고 객체지향을 지원하기 위해 UML을 도입하고 텍스트 프로그래밍 요소를 비주얼 프로그래밍 요소로 대체하기 위해 객체지향을 지원하는 LabVIEW OOP를 사용하여 학습자들에게 프로그래밍 교육을 하는 방법을 제시하였다. 또한, 제시된 프로그래밍 교육 방법에 대해 설문조사를 실시하여 교육적인 효과를 분석하였다.

This paper presents an aspect-oriented approach to simulation design and analysis in system design phase for integrated logistics system simulation. The integrated logistics system composed of AS/RS (Automated Storages and Retrieval System), AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicle System), STVs (Sorting Transfer Vehicle System) and Conveyor System is designed by using the aspect-oriented approach and UML (Unified Modeling Language). The multi-factorial design of experiments and regression analysis are used for design parameters of the system and Evolution Strategies is used to verify each parameter. Aspect-oriented approach for the integrated logistics system simulation shows the advantages of code reusability, extendible, modulation, easy improvement and a better design technique.

Current distributed systems are attacked from the outside as well as in which new intrusions are occurred. In particular there is a growing but largely unnoticed intrusion threat due to the emerging middleware technologies such as CORBA, WAP, XML support, and enterprise application integrators. In order to cope with these attacks, intrusion tolerance technology is introduced. Intrusion tolerance technology means that it can provide services normally although attacks are occurred into system. There are intrusion tolerance architectures such as ITUA, HACQIT, SITAR, and so on as a part of DARPA project. In this paper, we analyze and discuss existing intrusion tolerance architectures with respect to intrusion tolerance technology. Also, we extract intrusion tolerant requirements, which are required to develop ,intrusion tolerant system. We propose UML-IT(Intrusion Tolerance) profiles and specify intrusion tolerant software by applying UML-IT profiles.

임베디드 소프트웨어를 개발하기 위한 많은 노력이 요구되고 있다. 최근 UML 2.0이 임베디드 소프트웨어를 모델링하기 위한 다양한 특성을 포함하면서, UML을 이용하여 임베디드 소프트웨어를 모델링하기 위한 다양한 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 기존에 임베디드 소프트웨어는 대체적으로 구조적 설계 방법론에 근간하여 개발되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 모델링 방법론을 지원하기 위한 임베디드 소프트웨어 개발용 지원 도구에 대하여 설명한다. 본 연구에서 개발한 도구는 다양한 모델링 방법의 지원뿐 아니라, 코드의 생성에서도 다양성을 지원하도록 하였다.

인터넷의 성장과 더불어 웹 환경에서 동작하는 웹 애플리케이션을 체계적으로 개발하고 유지 관리하기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이에 웹 애플리케이션 설계 단계에서 웹 애플리케이션을 모델링하기 위한 여러 기법과 프로세스가 제시되었다. 그러나 기존의 연구들은 웹 애플리케이션 모델링의 요구사항에 대한 정확한 정의가 부족하고 웹 애플리케이션의 기술에 의존적이다. 본 연구에서는 웹 애플리케이션 모델링 요구사항에 대한 정의를 명확히 하고 웹 애플리케이션의 기술적인 면에 독립적인 고수준의 추상화를 통해 웹 애플리케이션을 UML로 구조 모델링하는 기법을 보인다. 구조 모델링은 컨텐츠의 구조와 각각의 컨텐츠가 실제 화면에 어떻게 매핑되는지를 표기하여 실제 구현 상태를 모델링에서 나타내는 것이 가능하도록 한다. 마지막으로 제안한 기법을 통해 일반적인 형태의 간단한 웹 애플리케이션을 모델링함으로써 유용성을 검증한다.

공급망관리(SCM)는 인터넷을 기반으로 한 비즈니스 환경에서 중요한 정보기술 이슈 중의 하나이다. B2B 전자상거래 환경에 관련 있는 많은 기업들은 기존의 기업 Business 프로세스를 새롭게 통합된 공급망 프로세스로 개선하기 위한 혁신적인 노력을 하고 있다. XML/EDI를 활용한 SCM 시스템은 전통적 거래 당사자들간의 관계를 재편성하게 함으로써 그들에게 경쟁적 우위를 제공하고 있다. 본 연구는 XML/EDI를 활용한 SCM 시스템 프로토타입을 제안한다. 본 연구는 자동차부품산어을 대상으로 하여 자동차 Lamp를 생산하는 1차 부품기업에 초점을 두어 객체지향 방법론인 UML을 활용하여 자동차부품산업의 공급망관리 프로세스에 대한 분석과 설계를 수행한다. UML을 이용한 SCM 시스템의 구현은 소프트웨어 재사용과 확장성 그리고 기업 내부 정보시스템과의 상호 호환성에서 좋은 성과를 보여준다.
