Transformation of Wonju UIS Database with Translation of National Geodetic Datum (국가좌표계 전환을 따른 원주시 도시정보 데이터베이스 변환)

  • Since world coordinate system is entirely used because of the revision of land surveying law, it is needed that transformation of coordinates of geo-spatial information established by korea coordinate system to be performed. It is required, however, to have a plan for transformation of world coordinate system because the coordinate system is not unified due to the geo-spatial information system using dualistic control data of both old and new data of korea coordinate system. For this purpose, in this study, I have calculated coordinate transformation coefficient per control data of korea coordinate system and proposed a plan of transforming a dualistic coordinate system which is based on control data of korea coordinate system effectively into world coordinate system through verification of accuracy of transformation per control data.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the activation methods of GIS industries through GIS industry current issue analysis in Korea to provide as following. First of an in order to analyse current GIS industries, there are three divisions as follows: existing GIS industry, new technology GIS industry, and commercial GIS industry. The existing GIS industry includes survey industry, municipality UIS and remote sensing. The new technology GIS industry has telematics industry, LiDAR industry, ubiquitous industry, LBS industry, internet, and u-city industry. The commercial GIS industry consists of civilian request GIS industry and spacial data distribution industry. The national geographic information industry contains problems and directions of the 1st, 2nd NGIS and 3rd NGIS plan direction policy. These classified GIS industries present various problems of policies and invaluable results for the future GIS industry activation directions as follows: Presence of the GIS contents technologies win be the most important core for the GIS industry activation related to IT839 policy of the government in Korea.

Usability Evaluation and Improvements of Mobile Travel Apps

  • The popularization of smartphones allows people to instantly get the information that they want, through mobile apps, including financial services, movies and public transportation reservations, games and shopping. Furthermore, leisure activities through overseas travel are increasing due to the improvement of the living standards of people. These increases in overseas travel and the use of mobile apps lead to the increased use of mobile travel apps when booking tour packages. Although there are many studies on the usability assessment and user interface improvement for mobile apps, studies on the usability assessment for mobile travel apps are limited. We tested the usability for mobile travel apps to present some suggestions for improvements so that anyone can purchase travel packages easily and simply. We selected the top three mobile travel apps on Rankey.com that have different UIs. The heuristic method was used to evaluate usability. We present a better UI to allow users to use the app functions more easily by analyzing user interaction, ease of learning, readability, efficiency, and satisfaction for the entire use.

  • This study surveyed the variables associated with tailored user interfaces (UIs) to identify and apply to. healthcare web services. A total of 308 elderly people of age 50 and above), living in Incheon, South Korea, were surveyed through one-on-one interviews. The survey results of these 300 subjects were analyzed and used to demonstrate that younger subjects higher EQ-5D and TAM indices. The technology acceptance model showed the greatest effect on the perceived need for web services.

  • 향후 u-City의 지능화된 도시시설물 관리를 위해서는 상세한 서비스모델 및 시나리오의 구현이 필요하다. u-City에서는 각종 센싱데이터를 실시간으로 전송받아 모니터링하고 이벤트 상황을 인식하며, 공간정보를 기반으로 분석 및 처리, 결과가 제공되어지는 능동형 도시시설물관리시스템으로 변화될 것이다. 이러한 관리시스템은 기존의 DB관리 중심의 UIS(도시정보시스템)와는 차별화된 차세대 시스템으로, 본 연구에서는 이러한 시스템에서 제공되어질 서비스 시나리오 중 공동구관리 시나리오를 개발하여 관련 시스템 설계 및 개발에 활용할 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다.

  • In this paper, we carried out studying for real-time monitoring method about water distribution information of flow, flux, pressure and the vibrations, that facility management system checks it by using UFSN sensors. We developed UFSN sensing generator, gateway, and middleware, and defined UFSN sensing data format. Also we verified sending sensing data. We have monitored water distribution based on GIS drawing in real-time by storing sensing data in existing Underground Facility Management System.

Development of Mobile Social Network Game by using Web Service

  • In the field of mobile games, social network games are steadily increasing in market scale and public interest every year. This paper proposes a method to design a social network game, which is one of the most successful genres in mobile games. The method uses Unity3D, the most commonly used engine for mobile game development. NGUI, a versatile developmental tool of Unity3D, is used to create shops and battle UIs. This paper particularly focuses on how to use the web hosting service to search and operate the necessary data from the database in the server. In addition, the proposed social network game is easy to implement real-time battle using Animator and Raycast, and is characterized by efficient battle implementation through time delay using Coroutine function.

  • Unclamped Inductive Switching (UIS) 능력을 향상시키기 위하여 Floating p- well을 적용한 IGBT의 단락 회로 상태에서 과전압을 감지하는 새로운 보호회로를 제안하고 제작하였다. 실험 결과 제안된 회로는 fault 상황에서 fault 신호를 감지하고 즉시 게이트 전압을 낮추어 컬렉터 전류를 감소시켰다. 또한 Hard Switching Fault (HSF)와 Fault Under Load (FUL) 상황에서의 측정 및 2차원 Mixed-Mode 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 회로와 소자의 동작을 확인하였다.

  • 도시의 많은 시설물을 좀더 지능화된 체계로 관리하기 위한 수단으로 RFID/USN을 이용한 솔루션이 다양하게 제안되고 있다. 최근에 상하수도, 전력, 가스, 통신 관로 등 지하시설물 관리분야도 기존의 도면 관리체계에서 센서를 이용한 실시간 운영관리시스템 형태로의 진화를 시도하고 있다. USN은 일반적으로 무선전송을 기반으로 발전시킨 기술로서 이를 지하 매설물 센서네트워크에 적용할 경우 여러 가지 제약사항이 따르게 된다. 전자기파의 물리적 특성상 지하에서는 통신이 어렵기 때문에 이를 보완할 수 있는 적용기술 및 시설물 분포에 맞는 네트워크 토폴로지 또 싱크 노드의 물리적 설치공간 확보 및 구동전력 공급 등 현장에서 부딪히는 여러 가지 네트워크 구축에 관련된 현안사항에 대하여 그 해결방법에 대하여 기술하였다.

A Manually Captured and Modified Phone Screen Image Dataset for Widget Classification on CNNs

  • The applications and user interfaces (UIs) of smart mobile devices are constantly diversifying. For example, deep learning can be an innovative solution to classify widgets in screen images for increasing convenience. To this end, the present research leverages captured images and the ReDraw dataset to write deep learning datasets for image classification purposes. First, as the validation for datasets using ResNet50 and EfficientNet, the experiments show that the dataset composed in this study is helpful for classification according to a widget's functionality. An implementation for widget detection and classification on RetinaNet and EfficientNet is then executed. Finally, the research suggests the Widg-C and Widg-D datasets-a deep learning dataset for identifying the widgets of smart devices-and implementing them for use with representative convolutional neural network models.
