SNMP는 망 관리 시스템을 구현하는데 있어서 비교적 단순하고 안전한 일대일 통신 방안을 제공하고있다. 원격 회의 또는 강의, VoIP, 네트워크 게임 등의 다양한 통신 컨텐츠에 대해 인터넷을 통한 이용이 급증하면서 UDP 기반의 SNMP 통신에 있어서도 Congestion Control을 적용하기 위한 방안이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 UDP에서 Congestion Control을 위해 DCCP 기반의 SNMP NMS를 구축할 수 있는 구조를 제안한다.

Rapid advances in telecommunication make emergency telemedicine possible that specialist offers medical care to an emergency case in moving vehicle. Although there were many telemedicine projects delivering the image or video of patient over several wireless networks, none of them considered effective solutions for optimizing video transmission over error-prone environments, such like wireless links. To alleviate the effect of channel errors on compressed video bit-stream, this paper analyzed the error resilient features of MPEG-4 standard and measured the quality of transmitted MPEG-4 encoded video over commercially available CDMA2000 1xEV-DO networks, transmitting different IP packet sizes and RM positions. we propose an error resilient transmission methods for emergency telemedicine over real 3G network.

There are some problems to implement a realtime network system with Ethernet because the MAC(Medium Access Control) of Ethernet uses a CSMA/CD protocol, which introduces unexpected delays. In this paper, we designed a method to solve problems due to the Ethernet MAC. This method introduces a pseudo-MAC in application layer to support the real-time feature. So the presented method doesn´t need any modifications of protocols such as UDP/IP/MAC. The presented pseudo-MAC is based on both a token passing protocol and a publisher-subscriber protocol. The suggested realtime protocol is implemented and tested practically in a local area network. The proposed real-time network consists of a token controller node and general nodes.

VoIP utilizes the Internet for the services, and therefore it is vulnerable to intrusions and attacks. Because provided services deal with information related to privacy of users, it requires high level security including authentication and the confidentiality/integrity of signaling messages and media streams. However, when such a protocol is implemented in a VoIP phone, the implementation can have limitations due to the limited resources. The present study purposed to implement VoIP security protocols and to evaluate their performance in terms of connection quality and voice quality by applying them to SIP proxy and UA (User Agent). In the result of performance evaluation, the application of the security protocols did not lower voice quality, but connection quality was high in the DTLS based security protocol. As the protocol was applicable to signaling and media paths based on DTLS, we found that it can be a solution for the limited resources of VoIP phone.

무선 네트워크의 전송 방식은 유선 네트워크와 다르며, 따라서 유선 네트워크를 기반으로 설계된 인터넷 프로토콜(TCP/IP)은 무선네트워크 환경에서 불안정 하게 작동한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 유선 인터넷에 맞춰진 전송 프로토콜인 UDP와 TCP를 802.15.4 MAC기반의 ZigBee Protocol 환경에서 사용되는 특성과 AODV 및 확장 프로토콜인 AOMDV를 통해 인터넷에 결합된 네트워크 인터페이스를 가진 노드들의 특성과 관리의 중요함을 확인한다

DOS (Denial Of Service)에 대한 공격은 시스템의 정상적인 동작을 방해하여 시스템 사용자에 대한 서비스 제공을 거부하도록 만드는 공격으로 현재 이의 공격에 대한 탐지 알고리즘 및 연구들이 많이 제시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크 또는 트랜스포트 계층에 해당하는 프로토콜(TCP/IP, ICMP, UDP) 공격을 분석하고 이들 프로토콜의 취약점을 공격하는 DOS 공격 이외의 다른 공격을 탐지하기 위하여 프로토콜의 기능별, 계층별에 따른 모듈화 작업을 통하여 네트워크 침입탐지 시스템을 설계하였다.

사용자의 고화질 요구와 사업자의 차별화된 서비스 제공 노력의 결과로 기존의 MPEG-4 기반이 아닌 고화질 전용의 MPEG-2 화질을 사용하는 VOD 서비스가 새로운 대안으로 제시되고 있다. MPEG-2 비디오는 높은 네트워크 대역폭을 요구하는 단점이 있는 반면, 사용자에게 양질의 화질을 제공할 수 있으며 표준의 사용으로 컨텐츠 유지. 보수에 유리하다. 본 논문에서는 상용 스트리밍 서버인 nCUBE 서버와 연동하여 MPEG-2 TS 데이터를 스트리밍 하는 VOD 시스템에 대하여 설명한다. VOD 제어 프로토콜로 RTSP(Real Time Streaming Protocol)를 사용하였으며, 스트림 전송 프로토콜로 UDP/IP 방식을 사용하였다. 지원하는 VCR 기능으로는 FF, RW, STOP. Pause가 있다.

본 논문에서 제안하는 오류 공유 시스템은 홈 네트워크의 LAN 및 WAN 환경에서 UDP 브로드 캐스팅 및 IP 멀티캐스팅을 지원하며 적은 부하로 응용 프로그램에서의 오류를 다수의 사용자가 공유하도록 지원한다. 특히 기존의 TCP 를 이용한 방법과는 달리 참여자의 수에 관계없이 일정한 전송률과 동일한 응답 시간을 보장함으로써 동시에 모든 참여자들이 같은 결과의 오류를 인식하게 되며 사용자의 수의 증가에 따른 영향을 적게 받는다.

Under the worldwide booming internet environment, there has been increasing demand for various multimedia services. Especially the demand for effective video services has been rapidly increased. In this paper, we describe the implementation of video service system for internet use based on H/263 video compression technique and UDP socket on the TCP/IP environment. In addition, by using the plug-in-play technique, the implemented system improved user interface for correct retrieval and easy usage.
