Improved Web Service Publishing Method (웹 서비스 등록 절차의 개선 방안)

  • In present web service structure, the service begins when supplier register the information of its service to UDDI(Universal Description Discovery and Integration). When user searches service directory in UDDI, the position of service is transmitted to it. And then, user requests WSDL(Web Service Description Language) to the supplier. When WSDL is delivered to user, user requests the service according to WSDL. This thesis simplifies this web service process. This makes WSDL owned by supplier stored to WSDLBASE when supplier register its service. Also this makes it possible that user search the service and receives WSDL.

  • Web Services following distributed object computing technology like DCOM, CORBA provides remote procedure call mechanism based on XML-based open standard such as SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, and it is spotlighted as means of integration and collaboration at e-business. Especially, UDDI is the Web Services Registry enabling to register and search Web Services, that takes charge of providing infrastructure for Web Services. However, the existing UDDI has a few problems that searching process is very simple and it cannot provide information of Web Services quality and quality-based retrieval. Therefore, this study suggest improved UDDI model that evaluates the Web Services quality and use this information for searching.

  • UDDI server is the web services registry enabling users to register and search for web services. However, the existing UDDI servers do not provide any information about web services qualify. We designed and developed a UDDI broker system which actively monitors and analyses the qualify of web services. The analysis results are presented to users in statistical figures and graphs. With this information a user can select a web service that meets his/her needs. Availability, performance, and stability were the metrics used for the service qualify measurement and analysis.

  • It is being continued that studies is to supply users with various web service easily and simply. XML, extensible mark up language for web has been developed, and WSDL is provided for web service to UDDI registry in order to more efficient usage. SOAP protocol can be used for firewall endpoint because it uses HTTP as transfer mechanism. In this paper, we are studied dealing with installing agent in marketplace and communicating among service supplier and UDDI. Then agent through SOAP to provide exact and prompt service to demands of users.

  • Web Service which consists of SOAP, WSDL and UDDI is a software system that enables interactions of heterogeneous systems on networks with standardized XML message. Especially, UDDI is a registry for supporting the registration of a service by service publisher and discovery of a service by service requester. The preliminary studies are just about publishing and searching services. It presents the researches about UDDI study for improvement of searching a service and extended UDDI design for improvement of reusability with service components aspects. In this paper, we suggest not only features about publishing and searching services of existing UDDI system but also novel UDDI data structures and API for a reusable service model. In addition, we design and implement an extended UDDI system for publishing and finding the reusable services. Therefore, by using proposed UDDI systems, service developers reduce development costs and time through developing a service application reusing the already implemented services. In addition, it can expect to ensure the quality of services by reusing the proven services.

  • 인터넷망의 지속적인 발달과 함께 웹 애플리케이션 개발 방법으로 XML 기반의 웹 서비스가 부각되면서 많은 웹 서비스들이 개발되었고, 점차 더 많은 웹 서비스들이 개발될 것으로 예상된다. 이처럼 급격하게 늘어나는 웹 서비스들 중에서 사용자가 원하는 웹 서비스 찾는 것이 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있다. 그러나 현재의 웹 서비스 검색 표준인 UDDI 레지스트리는 키워드 기반이기 때문에 검색 성능의 한계점을 갖고 있다. 최근에 이러한 한계를 극복하고자 하는 많은 연구가 진행되고 있지만 아직은 많이 부족한 상황이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 비록 키워드가 일치하지 않더라도 사용자가 원하는 웹 서비스를 찾을 수 있도록 웹 서비스 표준인 UDDI 레지스트리에 시맨틱 매칭 엔진(semantic matching engine)이라는 추가적인 시맨틱 레이어를 추가하여 재현율(recall)과 정확률(precision)을 모두 향상 시킬 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다.

  • Resently as ubiquitous environment rapidly emerges due to the development of network and information communication technology, ubiquitous computing is being noticed as a technology that will take the lead in information technology industry of the future. For the realization of this Ubiquitous Service requires some technique such as situations of environment and recognition of locations by the Sensor Network, then sensor data have to be transferred to an application service after processes. Also the creation rule of registration and search of the event is necessary because the USN sensor data must be possible to specific the multi condition of event which relates on using time. And for using a numerous sensor data provision service, service provider can publish its service in standardized registry for users to search and use the service registry. Currently there is the web service for a WS-Eventing and a UDDI with standard, but the event and the service registry is unnecessary or there is a portion which is insufficient. In this paper, I design and implementated standardzation of event definition for USN application service and service registry structure, standard API.

  • 최근 정보통신 환경은 통신, 방송, 인터넷이 통합되는 디지털 융합 서비스 제공 형태로 급속히 변화하고 있다. 이에 따라 통신환경이 개방형 네트워크 형태의 광대역통합망으로 변화하였다. 이런 광대역 통합망에서는 Open API(Application Program Interface)에 의하여 third-party 애플리케이션의 제공을 가능하게 한다. Open API에는 대표적으로 Parlay API가 있으며 Parlay API와 웹 서비스를 접목시키고 한단계 더 추상화한 Parlay X API가 있다. 웹 서비스의 요소중의 하나인 UDDI는 웹 서비스를 쉽게 검색, 공유 및 재사용 할 수 있도록 하는 환경을 가져오게 된다. 본 논문에서는 웹서비스기반의 개방형서비스 게이트웨이를 위한 효율적인 UDDI 레지스트리 구축방안에 대해 제안하였다.

  • 웹 서비스(web services)는 표준화된 XML 메시지를 통해 네트워크상에서 접근 가능한 연산들의 집합을 기술하는 인터페이스로 정의된다[1]. 이러한 웹 서비스는 크게 서비스 교환과 기술(description), 그리고 등록(registration)과 발견(discovery)이라는 개발 단계를 가지고 있으며, 각각의 단계에서 사용되어지는 기술에는 SOAP, WSDL, UDDI 등이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 웹 서비스에 관한 정보를 저장하기 위해 개발된 UDDI 레지스트리에 웹 서비스에 관한 정보를 등록하고 검색/발견할 수 있도록 지원해주는 웹 서비스 등록/검색 도구의 기능들을 정의하고, 개발에 필요한 사항들을 기술한다.

A Java Group Communication System supporting Extended Virtual Synchrony (Extended Virtual Synchrony를 지원하는 자바 그룹통신 시스템)

  • Important Java network application services have been rapidly increased along with the growth of the Internet. So, it is desirable for such applications to serve transparently, continuously and safely even if the network is temporally partitioned or certain hosts running those services are crashed down. To satisfy such requirements, many group communication systems have been developed. However, existing Java-based group communication systems do not support both the extended virtual synchrony and various types of message delivery such as FIFO, causal, total and safe delivery service. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a Java group communication system, named JACE, supporting various types of message delivery between group members and the extended virtual synchrony model. The JACE system consists of a number of protocol modules which can be stacked on top of each other in a variety of ways. In addition, using the JACE system, we have developed an experimental UDDI registry for discovering and publishing information about Web services.
