The purpose of this study was to identify self-efficacy and self-concept of professional nursing which might influence clinical practice satisfaction in nursing students. The participants were 278 nursing students in U city. Date were collected from November 29 to December 17, 2010. The collected data was analyzed with the PASW 18.0 statistics program. Self-efficacy had significant positive correlation with self-concept of professional nursing(r=.595, p<.001) and self-concept of professional nursing had significant positive correlation with clinical practice satisfaction(r=.396, p<.001). In multiple regression analysis, self-concept of professional nursing is most influential factor explained 21% of variance of clinical practice satisfaction. The results indicate that to develop a more reasonable and effective curriculum and teaching program for enhancement of students' self-concept of professional nursing.

Content services for silver users on the ubiquitous technologies are getting attention as a new business model, monitoring users in real-time on the real-world and/or cyber-world. A lot of business and service model have been developed to apply silver or elder user. This study explained a state-of-the-art silver IT service to innovative services for users, ranging from home and finance to support for healthcare and living. Due to the variation of subtle terminologies, this study was conducted to restructure an adaptive terminology including some definitions. Current silver IT service model has been evaluated from the technical, functional, and business analyst, and its suitability has also been expressed in a proposed model and service. The purpose of this study was to propose a systematic approach of new IT service business model for silver users. A proposed model was described to explain the feasibility of the silver IT industry.

Researchers in marketing, sociology, and economics have been interested in the role of social interactions in consumer choice and consumption behaviors. Social interactions, labeled variously as peer effects, social contagion, and neighborhood effects, have important implications for firms' allocation of marketing efforts. In this research, we test and provide empirical evidence for peer effects in consumers' service usage in the context of gym-going behaviors. Using a detailed individual-level membership and attendance data at one of the largest health club chains in the U.S., we document that a focal member's gym-going behavior is influenced by the behaviors and characteristics of the peers at the same branch

Increasing interest of life expectancy and health has made the u-health industry activating and the several international standard developing organizations(SDO) are dealing with u-health services and technologies. Among them, IEEE 11073 PHD(Personal Health Devices) Work Group is developing standards of personal health device communication for interoperability. There are many studies for introducing SDOs and analyzing the IEEE 11073-20601 standard. However, due to the rare study of PHD standards analysis, there are a lot of difficulties to utilize the standards. In this paper, present status of national and international SDOs including IEEE 11073 standards for PHD will be introduced. Moreover, device specialization standards such as thermometer, weighing scale, glucose meter, blood pressure monitor, electrocardiograph (ECG) etc.. will be analyzed based on the IEEE 11073-20601.

The aim of this study is the development of a fee - based model day care center for the elderly by inquiring into the current condition of facilities in America and in Korea, and in surveying the opinion of domestic elderly about day care facilities. A field trip to U.S. day care services was held between July 5 and July 15 in 1997, and an on-the-spot study for domestic facilities took place during March in 1998. Our research reveals that the overall supply of day care facilities can not meet future demand in terms of quality and quantity. Therefore a model must be created for day care centers of a that consists of a director from a professional group. an adequate environment, and a standardized in order to offer a qualified public health service linked to the home and community in Korea. The director of a day care center is a critical variable in determining the quality of service. Professional skills related to the needs of the elderly and the person's quality of service should be considered in appointing director for the center. This study belleves that a professional nurse should be the director of a day care center. The operating environment of a day care facility should be made up of considerable space comparable to the number of residents, should be in a comfortable and safe location, and should have equipment that provides a qualified, safe service to the elderly. Our model is designed for 20 persons and allocates 4 Peng per person. This model is comprised of a reading room. a craft room, a health room, a room for physical therapy, a dining room, a staff office, and a multi -purpose room connected to other rooms. Day care service should be a comprehensive service program meeting the multidimensional needs of the elderly. A comprehensive service program needs a team of various professionals made up of the elderly family, participants, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, nutritionists, and medical doctors. The program will also include health care service, physical therapy, speech therapy. diet, occupational therapy, transportation service, health and an education program, etc. In conclusion, a model of a day care center is developed with the following components: a professional director and an environment and program, that considers the physical, mental, and social characteristics of the elderly. A model should also motivate self-reliance self-fulfillment in the elderly in order to fulfill their health needs and to prevent isolation from society and mental depression. Furthermore, This facility will be a beneficial factor in reducing a family's burden on caring for the elderly that includes unnecessary hospital expenses. The following is a suggestion based on results this study: A service program should be developed to fit the conditions of the elderly in Korea by specifically analyzing the needs of the elderly.

The network traffic increases due to the web service and mobile application use while the smart device user increases rapidly. This paper presented the QRcode application as network data loss problem in the u-Health mobile environment and encryption module alternative. Therefore, the bio-information of the patient was collected and QRcode was produced in the PC based. In addition, the rate of reading recognized in the polution and damage was confirmed. The data traffic loss ratio using the network performance measurement equipment was tested.

This paper describes a robust mobile u-healthcare system with multiple physiological signs measurement capability in real time with integration of WSN(wireless sensor network) technology and CDMA(code division multiple access) network. A cellular phone receives health data in WSN and performs local physiological signs analysis at a phone processor, and then transmits abnormal data to server for further detail or precise health signal evaluation by a medical doctor over a CDMA network. Physiological signs of the patients are continuously monitored, processed and analyzed locally at cellular phone process to produce useful medical information for diagnosis and tracking purposes. By local simple analysis in cellular phone processor we can save the data transmission cost in CDMA network. By using the developed integrate ubiquitous healthcare service architecture, patients can realize self-health checking so that the prevention actions can be taken earlier. Appropriate self-monitoring and self-management can cure disease and relieve pain especially for patients who suffer from chronic diseases that need long term observation.

In some cases of u-health services, it is important and then required to pursue the location of users in real time because users could occasionally be in the situation beyond self-regulation. Location positioning has used two such typical techniques as trilateration and fingerprinting. A trilateration technique is usually based on three resident coordinates to identify the location of the target node. Ranging that measures distances between coordinates and the node is essential for applying the trilateration technique. Users especially in u-health services could be out of reachability in any such reasons as out of propagation ranges, fault of a communication counterpart, non-existence of possible communication facility, etc. This paper proposes a real-time locating method which can improve to identify and track the location of mobile objects. The method is based on references of identified mobile nodes as well as resident coordinates even though they may be partially out of communication reachability.

In this paper, we describes a Compact Distributed Object Group Framework(CDOGF) for mobile collaboration service in ubiquitous computing. CDOGF support network connections of sensors and devices, management of mobile computing devices, and grouping of objects for mobile collaboration service according to the logical area. For this, we defined methods for detail functions and interface. And, we classified into four interactions of that sensors and a application, the CDOGF and a application, between the components of the CDOGF, the CDOGF on a mobile device and the DOGF on a server. We also defined mobile collaboration environment by analyzing existing technologies. In this environment we used the TMO scheme for interaction and the TMOSM for distributed middleware. Finally, we implemented u-hospital application that applied this environment. This application collects environment and health information by PDAs in wards. Also, It provides the information service for patient management task.

Health education is essential service of health promotion program, and health promotion is external extension of health education. However, the implementation of health education in community is not well because of lack of budget and health education specialist, deficient cognition for health promotion. Hence, introduction for the credential on health educator is to assist community and school health through the training of the specialist This study was carried out to establish the credential health educator for activation of health promotion program in Korea. In detail, this study aimed at 1) to confirm the law for health education, 2) to understand the credential on health education specialist in U. S. and the certification on other parts in Korea, 3) to establish the proper credential on health educator in Korea. Finding the results were as follows: The law on health education was Regulation on Health Promotion which has defined the health educator and responsibility of health education. In case of U. S., the credential on health education specialist has implemented since 1992, and the sort of credential on health education specialist were community health educator, public health educator, school health educator, and health promotion specialist. Therefore, major opinion to introduce the proper credential on health education in Korea were suggested: the first, establishment of educational processing on the training of specialized health educator, the second, introduction of examination on the evaluation for ability as health educator. the last. planning for application of health educator in community.
