An empirical study on the service quality of uTradeHub though Kano model and customer satisfaction coefficient (Kano 모형과 고객만족계수를 이용한 uTradeHub 서비스 품질에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, service quality attributes of uTradeHub were classified based on the Kano model, and quality attributes that should be managed in priority to improve the service quality of uTradeHub were investigated using Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient(CSC) and average satisfaction coefficient(ASC). The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, as a result of classifying service quality attributes based on Kano model, 12 one dimensional qualities, 5 must-be qualities, 2 indifferent qualities were deducted, and many quality attributes of uTradeHub service were confirmed to be one dimensional quality to which is needed to be paid attention and paid more detailed attention to enhance service quality. Second, in the analysis result using Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient, "post processing for problems and complaints", "cost reduction", "efficiency of business processing" were ranked in the top of satisfaction coefficient, and they found to be quality attributes that customer satisfaction increases when service quality was satisfied. While, "post processing for problems and complaints", "interaction", "ability to respond promptly when problems occur" were ranked in the top of unsatisfaction coefficient, and they were analysed to be quality attributes that customer complaints increase when service quality was unsatisfied. Third, in the result of analyzing the quality attributes that should be managed in priority to improve the service quality of uTradeHub based on the average satisfaction coefficient(ASC), "post processing for problems and complaints", "cost reduction", "useful information" were ranked in the top 3, and they were classified as quality attributes that the satisfaction level increases more when they are improved than now, but the satisfaction level decreases when they are worsen.

  • The large scaled field test by prefabricated vertical drains was performed to evaluate the superiority of vertical discharge capacity for drain materials through compare and analyze the time-settlement behavior with drain spacing and the compression index and consolidation coefficient obtained by laboratory experiments and field monitoring system 1. The relation of measurement settlement( $S_{m}$) versus design settlement( $S_{t}$) and measurement consolidation ratio( $U_{m}$) versus design consolidation ratio( $U_{t}$) were shown $S_{m}$=(1.0~l.1) $S_{t}$, $U_{m}$=(1.13~l.17) $U_{t}$, at 1.0m drain spacing and $S_{m}$=(0.7~0.8) $S_{t}$, $U_{m}$=(0.92~0.99) $U_{t}$ at 1.5m drain spacing, respectively. 2. The relation of field compression index( $C_{cfield}$) and virgin compression index( $V_{cclab}$) was shown $C_{cfield}$=(1.0~1.2) $V_{cclab}$, But it was nearly same value when considered the error with determination method of virgin compression index and prediction method of total settlement. 3. field consolidation coefficient was larger than laboratory consolidation coefficient, and the consolidation coefficient ratio( $C_{h}$/ $C_{v}$) were $C_{h}$=(2.4 ~ 3.0) $C_{v}$. $C_{h}$=(3.5 ~ 4.3) $C_{v}$ at 1.0m and 1.5m drain spacing and increased with increasing of drain spacingngasing of drain spacingng spacingng

  • Inductive power transfer module(IPTM) is a contact-less power supply device and its application range has been extended to the large capacity devices such as electric vehicles, industrial mover and railway system as well as small capacity devices such as electric toothbrush charger, celluar phone charger, and so on. For railway application, the IPTM will transfer energy while train stops at a station for around 30[sec]. Therefore, equivalent circuit parameters and coupling coefficient of IPTM are an important design factor for the high energy transfer efficiency. This paper investigates the properties of equivalent circuit parameters and coupling coefficient of U-U type IPTM and U-I type IPTM using an analytical method and experimental method. Considering the coupling coefficient of the U-U type is larger than U-I type's, the U-U type is suitable for an application which need maximum power transfer and high efficiency.

  • Revetment Mattress/Filter is the porous structure filled fillers in meshed structure so that it cail use the fillers of various sizes and form various pores. The porous structure of the Mattress/Filter increases drainage so that it decreases the energy and erosion of flow therefore the tractive force is decreased and the erosion of revetment is mitigated. The filler of Mattress/Filter uses gravels, waste concretes and slags so that the surface is rough and the roughness coefficient increases and the increase of the roughness coefficient decreases flow velocity and tractive force. On the other hand Mattress/Filter and vegetation are combined so that the increase of roughness coefficient and flow velocity still more progress therefore the effect of decrease of tractive force is increased after a few months have passed since the Mattress/Filter is constructed so that the vegetation is developed and be stabilized. The vegetation channel of Mattress/Filter is set tip and the inspection comes into operation by varing flowrate and vegetation spacing to examine these characters of the Mattress/Filter The coefficient of flow velocity U/U*' is decreased exponentially as vegetation esity aH' or $\lambda$ is increased and the coefficient of friction f is increased as vegetation desity aH' is increased but decreased as the coefficient of flow velocity U/U*' is increased. The effective tractive force $F_0$ is decreased exponentially as the vegetation desity aH' is increased. From the inspection the results are obtained that the porous and vegetation structure of the revetment Mattress/Filter system increases the coefficient of friction of revetment so that flow velocity and effective are decreased therefore greatly contributes the stability of the revetment.

Estimation of discharge coefficients of the broad-crested side weir with various levee's side slope of main channel (본류수로의 제방사면경사에 따른 광정횡월류위어의 유량계수 산정)

  • The flow characteristics of the broad-crested side weir considering the levee's side slope of main channel ($ES_{ch}$) was investigated through hydraulic experiment in order to estimate the discharge coefficient equation. For applicability to actual river, levee's side slope of main channel 1:0.5, 1:1 and 1:2 were selected. Experimental results show that the new estimated equation for the discharge coefficient including $ES_{ch}$ is reasonable and effective in actual applications by comparing estimated and measured discharge over side weirs. Through a multiple linear regression analysis the importance of variabes were ordered as $ES_{ch}$ > $h/y_u$ > $L/y_u$ > $Fr_u$. Especially the discharge coefficient equation without $Fr_u$ was suggested, and the high applicability was reviewed by comparing the measured and calculated overflow of broad-chested side weir.

Reappraisal of Mean-Reversion of Stock Prices in the State-Space Model (상태공간모형에서 주가의 평균회귀현상에 대한 재평가)

  • In order to explain a U-shape pattern of stock returns, Fama and French(1988) suggested the state-space model consisting of I(1) permanent component and AR(1) stationary component. They concluded the autoregression coefficient induced from the state-space model follow the U-shape pattern and the U-shape pattern of stock returns was due to both negative autocorrelation in returns beyond a year and substantial mean-reversion in stock market prices. However, we found negative autocorrelation is induced under the assumption that permanent and stationary noise component are independent in the state-space model. In this paper, we derive the autoregression coefficient based on ARIMA process equivalent to the state-space model without the assumption of independency. Based on the estimated parameters, we investigate the pattern of the time-varying autoregression coefficient and conclude the autoregression coefficient from the state-space model of ARIMA(1,1,1) process does not follow a U-shape pattern, but has always positive sign. We applied this result on the data of 1 month retums for all NYSE stocks for the 1926-85 period from the Center for Research in Security Prices.

  • The diffuse attenuation coefficient for down-welling irradiance ($K_d$) is an important parameter for ocean studies including remote sensing applications. For the vast ocean, ocean color remote sensing is the only possible means to get the fine-scale measurements of $K_d$. To develop a technique of estimating $K_d$ from remotely sensed data, the following underwater optical parameters (absorption coefficient (a), attenuation coefficient (c), scattering coefficient (b), diffuse attenuation coefficient ($K_d$), etc.) have been studied. For this research we conducted the field campaign around the Yellow Sea at $8{\sim}9$ June, 2006. We obtained a set of underwater optical parameter data: down-welling irradiance ($E_d$), up-welling irradiance ($E_u$) and up-welling radiance ($L_u$) using TriOS optical sensors and a, c coefficient using Spectral Absorption and Attenuation Meter (AC-S). We then derived $K_d$ values from $E_d$ for each depth.

An Estimation of discharge Coefficient for Broad Crested Side Weir (광정횡월류위어의 유량계수 산정)

  • To install the side weirs in inlet of washland construction, it is necessary to calculate more accurately the discharges over side weir. In this study, the hydraulic experiments were performed in broad crested side weirs that installed trapezoidal channel and that considered more applicable to the actual river. Upstream Froude number in the main channel and weir height, length, width and slope of main channel were considerd for estimation of discharge coefficient of broad crested side weir. Experimental results show that the discharge coefficient of broad crested side weir depend on, and. New estimated equation for the discharge coefficient are suggested through the multiple regression analysis and its applicability is confirmed by comparing estimated and measured discharges over side weirs.

  • Bed shear stress is important variable in river flow analysis. The bed shear stress has an effects on bed erosion, sediment transport, and mean flow characteristics. Quadratic formula to estimate bed shear stress is widely used, 𝜏=𝜌cfu|u| in which friction coefficient, cf, needs to be assigned to numerical models. The aim of this study is to estimate Chezy coefficient using bathymetry data measured by ADCP. Bed form geometry variables will be estimated form bed profile, then Chezy coefficient will be determined using estimated bed form geometry variables in order to set friction coefficient to numerical model. From the probability density function obtained from the bathymetry data, Chezy coefficient will be randomly generated since Chezy coefficient is not uniform over the space and it does not depend on spatial variables such as water depth and distance from river bank. Numerical test will be performed to find to demonstrate randomly extracted Chezy coefficient is appropriate. The result of this study is valuable in that the friction coefficient is estimated in consideration of the bed profile, and as a result, uncertainty of the friction coefficient can be reduced.

A Study on Theoretical Consideration to the Holding Power and Holding Power Coefficient of War Ship Anchor (함정 묘의 파주력과 파주계수에 대한 이론적 고찰에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, with the awareness of the limitations set in the currently operated calculations of holding power and the holding power coefficient of anchors of naval ships due to its simple application of a specific value, various factors that impact the holding power and its coefficient were verified based on existing data analysis of literature research and numerous experiment results from anchor manufacturers, research institutes and academic community in order to overcome the aforementioned limitations. In addition, holding power and holding power coefficient were compared and analyzed by the shape of anchors. As a result, we came to know that the holding power of AC-14 type anchor is stronger than that of ASS type anchor or U.S. Navy Standard type anchor which makes it possible to reduce the weight of the anchor and therefore ease the process of naval shipbuilding. Furthermore, we confirmed the fact that U.S. Navy Standard type anchor does not react sensitively to the weight change of the anchor. Lastly, we found out that Danforth type anchor's holding power coefficient is in inverse proportion to the weight. Moreover, instructions for managing anchor are arranged easily for your information. The results of this study is expected to provide anchor - operating naval crew with a reliable theoretical basis pertaining to an anchor's holding power and its coefficient and contribute much for the safety of their act of anchoring.
