Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of an educational video program on bowel preparation for a colonoscopy. Methods: The study used a non-equivalent control group and non-synchronized design as a quasi-experimental research involving 101 participants undergoing bowel preparation for a colonoscopy (experimental group 51, control group 50 subjects) at W. university hospital, from Aug. 7 to Oct. 31, 2013. The control group received verbal education with an explanatory note while the experimental group received education using a video program. To measure knowledge of diet restrictions and compliance with ingesting bowel preparation solutions, a questionnaire, based on The Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy's Guide (2003), developed by Sam-Sook You, was used after revisions and supplementation was done. To measure bowel cleanness, the 'Aronchick Bowel Preparation Scale' was adopted. Data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 12.0 program. Results: A higher proportion of the experimental group showed a positive change in knowledge level on diet restrictions (U=1011.50, p =.035) and ingestion of bowel preparation solutions (U=980.50, p =.019), a higher level of compliance with diet restrictions (U=638.50, p <.001), ingesting bowel preparation solutions (U=668.00, p <.001) and the level of bowel cleanness (${\chi}^2$=17.00, p <.001) than the control group. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that a video educational program for patients having a colonoscopy can improve knowledge, level of compliance with diet restrictions, ingestion of bowel preparation solutions, and bowel cleanness. Therefore video educational program should be used with this patient group.

Sittaung-Thanlwin region in Lower Myanmar is an ecological niche for human settlement. Evidences of human activities in the region are seen through various archaeological sites or settlements along the coastal area between the rivers Sittaung and Thanlwin (Salween). In Lower Myanmar, scholar, U Aung Myint, discovered one major site Kyaikkatha and other small scale sites, namely, Sittaung, Kawhtin, Kadaikgyi, Kadaikkalay, Katkadit, Kelatha (little Zothoke), Ayetthama, Winka, Zothoke (big Zothoke), Lagonbyi (Sampannago), Wagaru, Laming and Ye in present day Mon State. In 1980, U Aung Myint undertook an exploration program at Kyaikkatha. After the exploration, an excavation team conducted systematic digging at Kyaikkatha in March 1986. Excavation continued occasionally at Kyaikkatha throughout the years between 1995 and 2000. It is known that Kyaikkatha, the old city, reveals a kind of monumental civilization exposing four religious structures (a stupa and three monasteries). This essay looks into the distribution of features within Kyaikkatha and infers on its social, political, and religious organization. This essay is also about a new discovery of an early urban settlement located at the apex of the Gulf of Muttama (Martaban) where a lost city of Suvannahumi flourished in the ancient days. By means of aerial photographic observations, the site had been noticed recently, which was by followed some excavations. More systematic and detail surveying may be needed to know more about the site and its features for comparison to other similar settlements of through-out mainland South East Asia.

The e-Trade environment has enabled the complex trade processes to be automated using e-Trade information systems, which had been manually processed through many trade-related parties in the past. Korea has completed the development of the most advanced e-Trade platform called "u-Trade Hub," which can process automatically all the trade-related activities from marketing to payment. It is anticipated for the world trade environment to have more FTAs throughout the world and this will complicate the trade processes more and more in the future. This means the constant cost-bearing updates of the e-Trade environment to adapt the process changes brought by new FTAs with other countries. In this paper, we propose the systematic approach to easily as well as less costly adapt the possible trade process changes resulted from the future FTAs by adopting a rule base management system. The prototype system to test the applicability of the proposed approach is developed using Win-Prolog 4.8 environment.

최근 인터넷 기술의 비약적인 발전으로 웹상에 많은 양의 정보가 존재하고, 많은 사람들이 이를 검색하고 활용하게 되었다. 그러나 기존의 검색방식은 단순히 텍스트 매칭(Text matching) 방법을 사용하고 있어 많은 자료들 사이에서 자신이 원하는 자료를 찾는데 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 검색할 자료의 정보를 바탕으로 그와 유사한 자료를 검색해주는 웹 문서 검색 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 울산대학교 어휘 지능망인 U-WIN을 기반으로 개념적 밀도와 단어 간의 유사성 측정을 이용하여 의미적인 검색이 되도록 하였다.

In a game called red and black, you can stake any amount s in your possession. Suppose your goal is 1 and your current fortune is ｆ, with 0 < f < 1. You win back your stake and as much more with probability p and lose your stake with probability, q = 1- p. Ahn(2000) considered optimum strategy for this game with the value of p less than $\frac{1}{2}$ where the house has the advantage over the player. The optimum strategy at any f when p < $\frac{1}{2}$ is to play boldly, which is to bet as much as you can. In this paper we perform the simulation study to show that the Bold strategy is optimum.

최근 진보된 무선 통신 기술과 발전된 의료 기술로 인하여 u-Health의 핵심 기술인 WBAN에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 인체에 이식 가능한 WBAN 장치는 전원 공급에 제한이 있으므로 소비전력을 최소화하기 위한 MAC 프로토콜이 필요하다. 본 논문은 WBAN 장치의 다양한 무선 통신 특성을 적용한 시뮬레이터에 관한 것으로 MICS 대역의 채널 특성을 적용하였고, 데이터의 신뢰성과 에너지 효율성을 향상시키기 위해 가변 패킷 및 비트맵 기반의 패킷 블록 전송기법을 적용한 MAC 프로토콜을 사용한다.

본 논문에서는 U-WIN의 어휘 관계 정보를 기반으로 얻은 구성명사간 2-gram 유사도 분석 결과를 이용해 의미기반 복합명사 분석을 수행하는 방법을 제안한다. 음절별 분해 패턴의 제한을 없애기 위해 모든 경우로 후보를 분해하여 규칙에 따라 분석에 사용될 최적의 분해 후보를 찾으며 분석시간, 비교대상을 줄이고 정확도를 높이기 위해 사전의 원어정보를 이용한다. 유사도는 각 개념을 구성하는 관련명사 집합들간의 비교로 구하며 가장 큰 문제인 데이터 부족 문제를 해결하기 위해 7종류의 대상으로부터 추출한 관련명사들을 이용한다.

After it first opened in 2001, Incheon International Airport (IIA) has grown into a world-class airport, leaving remarkable traces, such as being the first airport to win the ASQ Airport Serivce Price for 10 consecutive years. However, ever since its birth IIA has tried to position itself as the leading hub airport of Northeast Asia. Until this day, it has not been meeting this goal, with transfer passenger numbers and transfer rates decreasing recently. This study looks at the outer environment to discover which factors affect IIA's transfer market. Through extensive research on external analysis, the study will eventually provide a counter strategy guideline for fighting back against decreasing transfer usage.

본 논문에서는 사전 원어정보를 이용한 기존 방법에 나이브 베이즈 분류기를 추가로 이용하는 의미제약 기술에 대하여 소개한다. 의미제약은 의미 분석의 전처리 단계로서 부분적으로 중의성을 해소하여 입력된 복합명사의 분석 정확도 뿐만 아니라 전체적인 분석시간의 단축에도 큰 도움을 준다. 나이브 베이즈 분류기를 이용하는 방법은 사전의 의존성으로 인해 제약할 수 없는 2-gram을 대상으로 제약을 시도한다. 분류기를 위한 학습데이터는 의미 태깅된 기분석 2-gram사전을 이용하여 U-WIN의 관계정보와 사전 그리고 패턴들에 의해 생성된다. 원어정보로 해결하지 못하는 34.63%의 2-gram중 2.83%에 대해 추가로 제약에 성공 하였다.
