CONSTRUCTION OF DATABASE FOR A CUSTOMER-FRIENDLY RETRIEVAL SYSTEM OF APPAREL PRODUCTS

  • A database was constructed for customers to find and choose and apparel product. The product information was collected from words on several kinds of advertisement, which purchasers meet in their ordinary life. The information was sorted and categorized in 8 basic mother categories (Target group, Color, Apparel type, Fabric, Size, Price, Manufacturer) to build a suitable database structure. Each mother category was arranged into subcategories. Also this study showed a demonstration version of the retrieval system. the research resulted can be used for more intensive retrieval system.

  • This study began the study by instructing enterprises to change Batch Production into U-Line. This study suggested TPS U-Line building model process and applied it to some of their product line. By connecting concerned process elements into continuous operations. Outside orders were also switched to inside operations and executed in continuous operations, thereby about 100Km of transit distance became zero Km, Production lead Time was incredibly reduced. After all, 90% of Production Lead Time, 50% of handling fault, 3/4 of workers decreased and Productivity per Person enhanced which involves improving Batch Production into Continuous Production and applies it to the real world, so that small and medium enterprises can consult this study if the company is willing to make an improvement to their product line.

  • Recently, U.S. beef completely is opened and a point of present time, beef import market is increased, the high branding and high quality of Korea's beef cattle is urgent for a brand-name of Korea's Meat got competitive superiority in world market. Also, for that situation, Producers and Distributors request successful marketing strategy establishment and in the concrete, I present a counterplan strategy based on 4P(price, product differentiation, sales promotion, distribution) strategy.

On an Approximation to the Distribution of Product of Independent Beta Variates

  • A Chi-square approximation to the distribution of product of independent Beta variates denoted by U is developed. The distribution is commonly used as a test criterion for the general linear hypothesis about the multivariate linear models. The approximation is obtained by fitting a logarithmic function of U to a Chi-square variate in terms of the first three moments. It is compared with the well known approximations due to Box(1949), Rao(1948), and Mudholkar and Trivedi(1980). It is found that the Chi-square approximation compares favorably with the other three approximations.

GROUP-FREENESS AND CERTAIN AMALGAMATED FREENESS

  • In this paper, we will consider certain amalgamated free product structure in crossed product algebras. Let M be a von Neumann algebra acting on a Hilbert space Hand G, a group and let ${\alpha}$ : G${\rightarrow}$ AutM be an action of G on M, where AutM is the group of all automorphisms on M. Then the crossed product $\mathbb{M}=M{\times}{\alpha}$ G of M and G with respect to ${\alpha}$ is a von Neumann algebra acting on $H{\bigotimes}{\iota}^2(G)$, generated by M and $(u_g)_g{\in}G$, where $u_g$ is the unitary representation of g on ${\iota}^2(G)$. We show that $M{\times}{\alpha}(G_1\;*\;G_2)=(M\;{\times}{\alpha}\;G_1)\;*_M\;(M\;{\times}{\alpha}\;G_2)$. We compute moments and cumulants of operators in $\mathbb{M}$. By doing that, we can verify that there is a close relation between Group Freeness and Amalgamated Freeness under the crossed product. As an application, we can show that if $F_N$ is the free group with N-generators, then the crossed product algebra $L_M(F_n){\equiv}M\;{\times}{\alpha}\;F_n$ satisfies that $$L_M(F_n)=L_M(F_{{\kappa}1})\;*_M\;L_M(F_{{\kappa}2})$$, whenerver $n={\kappa}_1+{\kappa}_2\;for\;n,\;{\kappa}_1,\;{\kappa}_2{\in}\mathbb{N}$.

  • Many authors have studied multiple stochastic integrals in pursuit of the existence of product processes in terms of multiple integrals. But there has not been much research into the structure of the product processes themselves. In this direction, a study which gives emphasis on sample path continuity and boundedness properties was initiated in Pyke[9]. For details of problem set-ups and necessary notations, see [9]. Recently the weak limits of U-processes are shown to be chaos processes, which is product of the same Brownian measures, see [2] and [7].
