Implementation of u-Hospital System Based on RIA (RIA 기술을 이용한 u-Hospital 시스템 구축)

  • RIA(Rich Internet Application) has the best User Interface and easy way to use. It is used in many Application System and Web Application. This Paper introduces a RIA technology for Implementation of u-Hospital Application. This System uses a history of customers in the hospital and question about diseases, so we can improve the satisfaction of service. This paper shows that the u-Hospital System using RIA is more fast and easy than HTML application. Because RIA has special features that data can be obtained from server without reloading entire page and every user interaction does not require web server response. The proposed technology can improve the efficient u-Hospital System because it can be extended to ubiquitous mobile application.

  • This study is the basic direction of the BIM bases ubiquitous safety monitoring. First, studied the background and the purpose of the study, and it's scope and methods. Second, described the concept of BIM and investigated how BIM bases proceed through actual condition of ubiquitous safety monitoring. Third, identified BIM bases ubiquitous safety monitoring which can be applied consistently, Forth, DCP bases ubiquitous safety monitoring which can be applied consistently, Also, Finally, suggested the conclusion and sat the future research by analyzing the study results. It is expected to be worked out a way as a new model ubiquitous safety monitoring which will be combined with a ubiquitous DCP.

  • The ultimate purpose of cities is 'the enhancement of quality of life in city'. In order to achieve this, it is required to optimize the Ontology-driven ubiquitous services included in the U-City and UIS of regions and communities and so on. Almost U-Service's contents are related to spatial or temporal extent. So it is important to design Spatio-temporal event schema for efficient access to U-City. There is a rapid change into an urban society in the shape of Ontology-driven ubiquitous services in which a content on a region or an incident is newly reconstructed through various ideas with the influence of the ubiquitous environment.

A Comparative Performance Analysis of Segmentation Models for Lumbar Key-points Extraction (요추 특징점 추출을 위한 영역 분할 모델의 성능 비교 분석)

  • Most of spinal diseases are diagnosed based on the subjective judgment of a specialist, so numerous studies have been conducted to find objectivity by automating the diagnosis process using deep learning. In this paper, we propose a method that combines segmentation and feature extraction, which are frequently used techniques for diagnosing spinal diseases. Four models, U-Net, U-Net++, DeepLabv3+, and M-Net were trained and compared using 1000 X-ray images, and key-points were derived using Douglas-Peucker algorithms. For evaluation, Dice Similarity Coefficient(DSC), Intersection over Union(IoU), precision, recall, and area under precision-recall curve evaluation metrics were used and U-Net++ showed the best performance in all metrics with an average DSC of 0.9724. For the average Euclidean distance between estimated key-points and ground truth, U-Net was the best, followed by U-Net++. However the difference in average distance was about 0.1 pixels, which is not significant. The results suggest that it is possible to extract key-points based on segmentation and that it can be used to accurately diagnose various spinal diseases, including spondylolisthesis, with consistent criteria.

  • In this paper, we propose a fuzzy U-Net, a fuzzy deep learning model that applies fuzzy logic to improve performance in image segmentation using deep learning. Fuzzy modules using fuzzy logic were combined with U-Net, a deep learning model that showed excellent performance in image segmentation, and various types of fuzzy modules were simulated. The fuzzy module of the proposed deep learning model learns intrinsic and complex rules between feature maps of images and corresponding segmentation results. To this end, the superiority of the proposed method was demonstrated by applying it to dental CBCT data. As a result of the simulation, it can be seen that the performance of the ADD-RELU fuzzy module structure of the model using the addition skip connection in the proposed fuzzy U-Net is 0.7928 for the test dataset and the best.

  • As the developing of the information communication technology, more and more devices are with the capacity of communication and networking. The convergence businesses which communicate with the devices have been developing rapidly. The IT convergence communication is viewed as one of the next frontiers in wireless communications. In this paper, we analyze detailed security threats against M2M(Machine to Machine), intelligent vehicle, smart grid and u-Healthcare in IT convergence architecture. We proposed a direction of the IT convergence security that imbedded system security, forensic security, user authentication and key management scheme.

  • Effect of the UO$_2$ powder characteristic changes by dynamic milling method on the density was investigated. particle size decreased and its shape was changed from irregular to round form with increasing milling time (0∼8 h), while its specific surface area and O/U ratio increased. It was shown that the sintered density decreased, while green density increased with these powder characteristic changes. It could be considered that this decrement was affected by increased O/U ratio of the UO$_2$ powder during dynamic milling.

  • This paper presents a series of numerical simulations on the thermal performance and sectional efficiency of a closed-loop vertical ground heat exchanger (U-loop) equipped in a geothermal heat pump system (GHP). A 3-D finite volume analysis (Fluent) was used to simulate the operating process of the closed-loop vertical ground heat exchanger by considering the effect of the thickness of HDPE pipe and grout thermal properties, distance between the inflow and outflow pipes, and the effectiveness of the latticed HDPE pipe system. It was observed that the thermal interference between the two strands of U-loop is of importance in determining the efficiency of the ground heat exchanger, and thus it is highly recommendable to modify the cross section configuration of the conventional U-loop system by including a thermally insulating latice between the two strands.

  • Generally, the assembly system relied on conveyor lines is efficient for mass production. But it is not efficient when the product types are often varying and their lot sizes are small. Especially, it is much inefficient for the assembly lines for the electronic products whose types are varying very often. This paper suggests the design of U-shaped assembly lines to replace the existing conveyor systems. The assembly line for the mini-cassette production is dealt with as a case study. The proposed procedure was successfully applied for the design of U-shaped lines. The developed method resulted in the improvement of the productivity such as the decrease of the man power and the cycle time, and the increase of the line utility.

A Research on the Proposal of U-Pavilion Adopted in Korean Residential Development

  • Over the past two decades following the 1990s, South Korea's IT industry has developed rapidly. In keeping with this trend, the architectural and urban planning sectors have also converged with IT and achieved advancement in new directions. This evolution includes a variety of conceptual terminologies such as 'home automation', ''home network', 'smart home, and 'ubiquitous-city'. However, smart homes and U-cities simply represent a conceptual extension of home networks, and there is little real difference in the technologies involved. In particular, U-cities remain focused on infrastructure rather than on the development of specific content; consequently, they have failed to demonstrate distinctive features to clearly differentiate themselves from conventional cities. In such a context, this research aims at the proposal of a 'ubiquitous pavilion' as a component of the efforts to develop a range of architectural contents that utilize ubiquitous technologies. By grafting the pavilion, one of the most basic forms in architecture, with cutting-edge ubiquitous technologies, this paper intends to suggest a multi-purpose architectural space readily and simply available not only in newly emerging U-cities, but to conventional cities as well.
