  • In Korea it continues to grow elderly population, especially the elderly who lived alone and above-average temperatures is increased by global worming lately. So that, to take immediate action and to solve social isolation for elderly people living alone, we prospect it plays an important role ubiquitous information technology(IT) such as Geosensor based on GIS, RFID and wireless sensor networks, etc. In this paper, we searched domestic and foreign response status of heat wave for the elderly and proposed u-Care service for the elderly to stay indoors during heatwave warning. In future, we will design u-Care system and carry out various researches on accuracy, revitalization, the law, etc.

  • USM(Unit Service Management System) is the development tool and methodology to handling the event process in a U-City integrated platform by using the minimum unit services. USM can be one of the SOA development methodology. Minimum unit service has a minimum business logic that can be executed with input and output parameters. Minimum unit service consists of three parts : service profile, service input and output parameters and service execution information. USM provides two types of the execution method. One is module execution and the other is web service execution. The development of the event sinario by the USM development methodology can reduce the cost and duration of the u-service development by raising the rate of reusing minimum unit service.

  • Resently, We suggested u-Korea strategy to manage and develop a nation based on national ubiquitous technology using mobile.. therefore many a local self-governing body is writing out u-City construction plan to build most suitable future city in oneself environment. In this paper, after analyze tendency and character of ubiquitous related plans, it makes a plan international youth digital film festival based on ubiquitous technology in jinju. And it suggest strategy of digital film or game industry on a department of digital contents industry. also, an opportunity this paper propose research scheme of early level for u-Jinju of city-farm composition supported ubiquitous service in all the jinju area.

  • The u-City construction project has become a hot topic in the construction market because it seems economic value-added field for construction firms. However, construction firms don't willingly participate in the u-City construction market because environments of the future business for the u-City are very uncertain. Scenario planning is a very powerful method in managing this uncertain planning situation and is based on scenarios that help each enterprise appropriately adapt itself to its own business environments. Therefore it is based on the main principles of systems thinking and multiple futures. For the purpose of dealing with such uncertainties, this paper attempts to develop the possible market scenarios of the u-City construction market in S.Korea through a scenario planning approach. From this perspective, we considered various aspects of the u-City construction such as market demands, technology development, policy level and management environment. After considering the relevant issues, we identified the main trends and key uncertainties. Finally, we developed three coherent u-City construction market scenarios. Construction firms can use these scenarios as a basic reference for market analysis and business strategy. Therefore, this paper is able to enhance the participation of construction firms in the u-City construction market.

  • U-city is one of the most competitive field in Korea in the future and it has many subdivision applying field. U-health and u-disaster are important fields of u-city and many projects are being done about those fields. Because each filed is being developed independently, the better efficiency cannot be expected in case of disaster. The most important focus in disaster is the maintenance of human life and dignity, so u-health and u-disaster should be developed together and organized as the same filed for the practical assistance in case of disaster.

  • u-City(ubiquitous city) pursuing competitiveness of city and improvement the quality of life needs high cost to build and operate it. But not all people get a benefit by u-City. It is important that low-income people have experienced information divide gain practical benefits in u-City. In this paper, first we selected suitable item of u-service for low-income people and then drew a order of priority using AHP method about legal and institutional conditions, possibility of technical realization, and the generalization. As a result, we prioritize to u-service for low-income people, that is the order is prevention for missing a dotard, safety of street, and information providing about job and employment.

  • In this study, an interpretation method is proposed to evaluate the stress conditions, including individual excess pore pressure components ($\Delta{u}_{oct}$/ and $\Delta{u}_{shear}$), of normally consolidated clay elements adjacent to the cone face. It is assumed that the stress path of triaxial compression is representative f3r that of the soil element and the soil is elastic-perfectly plastic material. The proposed method is applied to the results of miniature piezocone tests conducted at Louisiana State University calibration chamber system. Based on the results of interpretation, it was found that the ratio of $\Delta{u}_{oct}$/ $\Delta{u}$and $\Delta{u}_{shear}$/$\Delta{u}$ estimated by the proposed method is affected only by the pore pressure parameter. The proposed method gives consistent and reliable values of $\Delta{u}_{oct}$/ $\Delta{u}$and $\Delta{u}_{shear}$/$\Delta{u}$ compared with early works, whereas those obtained by other solutions are significantly dependent on the accuracy in estimating soil properties such as undrained shear strength and rigidity index.

  • The convergence tendency accelerates the realization of the ubiquitous healthcare (u-Healthcare) between the technology including the power generaation and IT-BT-NT of the ubiquitous computing technology. By rapidly analyzing a large amount of collected from the sensor network with processing and delivering to the medical team an u-Healthcare can provide a patient for an inappropriate regardless of the time and place. As to the existing u-Healthcare, since the sensor node all transmitted collected data by using with the Zigbee protocol the processing burden of the base node was big and there was many communication frequency of the sensor node. In this paper, the u-Healthcare system in which it can efficiently apply to mobile apparatuses it provided the transfer rate in which it is superior to the bio-signal delivery where there are the life and direct relation which by using the Bluetooth instead of the Zigbee protocol and in which it is variously used in the ubiquitous environment was designed. Moreover, by applying the EEF(Embedded Event Filtering) technique in which data in which it includes in the event defined in advance selected and it transmits with the base node, the communication frequency and were reduced. We confirmed to be the system in which it is efficient through the simulation result than the existing Electrocardiogram Measurement system.

  • We consider the reaction-diffusion system of two-component model in one-dimensional space described by $$ (1) u_s = d_1 u_{xx} + f(u, \upsilon) \upsilon_t = d_2\upsilon_{xx} + \gammag(u, \upsilon) $$ where $d_1$ and $d_2$ are the diffusion rates of u and $\upsilon$, and $\gamma$ is the ration of reaction rates. It is interesting the case of that there are differences in the diffusion and reaction rates of u and $\upsilon$.
