  • 기존의 원격 교육 시스템은 대부분 데스크탑 컴퓨터를 기반으로 하고 있다. 그러나 최근에 PDA, 스마트폰, 태블릿 등의 다양한 모바일 기기들이 개발되고, 그 사용자가 점점 늘어남에 따라서 모바일 기기 기반의 원격교육 시스템에 대한 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 u-캠퍼스 환경기반에서의 모바일 러닝 서비스 시스템을 구현하였다. 모바일 러닝 서비스 시스템은 u-캠퍼스 환경기반에서 교육 수요자들인 학생들에게 시공간의 제약 및 디바이스에 제약이 없는 학습 환경 시스템을 제공하고 모바일 캠퍼스 플랫폼 기반의 m-러닝 시스템을 구현한 것이다.

  • 본 연구에서는 Dilated U-Net 기반의 이미지 복원기법을 통해 콘크리트 균열 추출 성능 개선 방안을 제안한다. 콘크리트 균열은 구조물의 미관상의 문제뿐 아니라 추후 큰 안전사고의 원인이 될 수 있어 초기대응이 중요하다. 현재는 점검자가 직접 육안으로 검사하는 외관 검사법이 주로 사용되고 있지만, 이는 정확성 및 비용, 시간, 그리고 안전성 면에서 한계를 갖고 있다. 이에 콘크리트 구조물 표면에 대해 획득한 영상 처리 기법을 사용한 검사 방식 도입의 관심이 늘어나고 있다. 또한, 딥러닝 기술의 발달로 딥러닝을 적용한 영상처리의 연구 역시 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 콘크리트 균열 추개선출 성능 개선을 위해 Dilated U-Net 기반의 이미지 복원기법을 적용하는 방안을 제안하였고 성능 검증 결과, 기존 U-Net 기반의 정확도가 98.78%, 조화평균 82.67%였던 것에 비해 정확도 99.199%, 조화평균 88.722%로 성능이 되었음을 확인하였다.

  • With the development of information communication and network technologies, ubiquitous era that supports various services regardless of places and time has been advancing. The development of such technologies have a great influence on educational environments. As a result, e-learning concepts that learners use learning contents in anywhere and anytime have been proposed. The various learning contents authoring systems that consider the e-learning environments have also been developed. However, since most of the existing authoring systems support only PC environments, they is not suitable for various ubiquitous mobile devices. In this paper, we design and implement a contents authoring system based on learning activities for u-learning environments. Our authoring system significantly improves the efficiency for authoring contents and supports various ubiquitous devices as well as PCs.

  • Recently, interest in u-learning to pursue effective learning by using ubiquitous environment in teaching and learning activities. In u-learning environment, learners should be able to push necessary information at the right time and the right place. Also calm technology oriented to, and this means that it can recognize learners' terminal information and to provide adaptive interface. In u-learning environment, main learning terminals would be mobile terminals which support mobility. However, learning in the existing PC environment should not be excluded. Thus, by providing adaptive interface according to various learners' terminal in LMS for u-learning, learners are able to learn through consistent and natural learning interface with any computer or any network at any place and at any time. The purpose of this study is to propose the interface adaptation based on terminal information focusing on the layout transformation process in the development environment.

  • This study proposed the ubiquitous learning system by finding the difficulties which students have in learning the course of science and analyzing the current learning applications that are used commercially. Through case studies, we found 4 problems. First, the request of long learning time by most of the existing video-based learning applications. Second, it is impossible to know their level of learning due to the lack of open learning contents. Third, it is difficult for learners to participate in interactive learning. Fourth, there are educational contents without considerations on the level of learners. To refine the difficulties due to these problems, we designed and implemented a new ubiquitous learning system which applies the small learning contents for short-term learning, open learning system and enhanced hierarchical learning contents. The system was implemented based on Android. It provides learners with useful science education. We conducted a questionnaire for third grade middle school students in order to show that the proposed system has a good educational effects. The questionnaire asks for the differences between the proposed ubiquitous learning system and the existing learning application. We concluded that the proposed system is better than the existing application by using t-test for improvement of learning effects using feedback with which students participate in interactive learning but not in unidirectional learning, and share the learning result.

  • The value of up-to-date Mobile PC such as UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) is recognized greatly in learning environment that busywork such as characteristic of transfer easy and real time communication possibility etc. and conversation with a colleague student, free sending of studying data and public ownership etc. is required. Wish to recognize whether is acting relevant role in u - unfold learning that inflect UMPC in integration research model, and UMPC is u searching for relevant element at studying activity unfolding process u - integration Inquiry-Based Learning that present in Korean education & research information service (KERIS) at fifth-year student science time In primary school in this research. This research result could take charge role of UMPCs' studying-activity though there is persistent feedback with teacher among studying-activity although UMPC's role is utilized on constituent that can be related with studying-activity in learning process.

  • In this paper, we present the results of educational innovation case study using U-Learning Box and Ubiquitous-based Test(UBT) system for 6 sample primary schools in Nepal. As Nepal is considered to be a developing country with electricity problem to the school, the U-Learning Box, consisting of a small and easy-to-use tablet PC for teacher and a small smart beam with its own battery was evaluated as the optimum solution to support continuous basic English and hygiene education for these schools. And UBT technology using tablet PC was used to evaluate and analyze basic English learning ability of the students, which helped us realized that it is necessary to improve the educational environment and develop suitable educational contents. We hope that the global educational innovation using U-Learning Box and UBT technology will become a successful model for global equality of educational opportunity project for developing countries including Nepal.

Performance Evaluation of U-net Deep Learning Model for Noise Reduction according to Various Hyper Parameters in Lung CT Images (폐 CT 영상에서의 노이즈 감소를 위한 U-net 딥러닝 모델의 다양한 학습 파라미터 적용에 따른 성능 평가)

  • In this study, the performance evaluation of image quality for noise reduction was implemented using the U-net deep learning architecture in computed tomography (CT) images. In order to generate input data, the Gaussian noise was applied to ground truth (GT) data, and datasets were consisted of 8:1:1 ratio of train, validation, and test sets among 1300 CT images. The Adagrad, Adam, and AdamW were used as optimizer function, and 10, 50 and 100 times for number of epochs were applied. In addition, learning rates of 0.01, 0.001, and 0.0001 were applied using the U-net deep learning model to compare the output image quality. To analyze the quantitative values, the peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and coefficient of variation (COV) were calculated. Based on the results, deep learning model was useful for noise reduction. We suggested that optimized hyper parameters for noise reduction in CT images were AdamW optimizer function, 100 times number of epochs and 0.0001 learning rates.

A Study on the Application and Utilization of PDA in u-Learning (u-러닝에서 PDA 적용 방안 및 활용에 관한 연구)

  • The rapid development of information & communication technology has changed the paradigm of education. Recently the area of education is introducing u-Learning, in which learning is possible at any time and in any place through personal information devices such as PDA, tablet PC and mobile phone terminals. Taking advantage of the mobility and individuality of personal information devices, u-Learning can provide learning customized to the characteristics of individual learners without the limitations of time and space and can be effective in situational learning and experiential learning. In order to identify the uses of PDA in teaching.learning and to develop a basic teachinglearning model using PDA, the present study applied PDA directly to classes and examined the effects. According to the result, most students were satisfied with classes utilizing PDA but problems were also found in connection, insufficient contents for PDA, the quality of screen, etc.
