한국의 정치세력 간 적대적 갈등의 경제학: 확장 (Economics of Antagonistic Conflict Between Political Forces in Korea: Expansion)

  • Purpose - Against the backdrop of the recent intense political conflict in Korea's political circles, it is to reveal from an economic point of view the hidden aspects behind the hostile conflict between the two political forces. Design/methodology/approach - This paper is not a normative study to find a solution to political conflict, but a positive study to reveal the mechanism of reciprocity that exists between the two parties of conflict in real politics. Therefore, the analysis is based on game theory methodology. Findings - It is shown that the ruling party should choose a level of preemptive response that is neither insufficient nor excessive if it aims to avoid radical anti-government struggles by opposition parties. We also find that even if the chances of success of the opposition's radical offensive struggle are low, the use of that strategy is not necessarily reduced. In addition, we have obtained comparative static results that do not deviate much from our intuition. What's interesting is that unlike our intuition that the choice of the method will be indifferent if the marginal effects of radical and normal methods of struggle are the same, the opposition party rather chooses the normal method of struggle more often. Research implications or Originality - In forming the analytical model, it reflected the support of the general public following the opposition's struggle against the ruling party in order to capture real politics well in the conflict between the two opposing parties.

  • Texture provides an important source of information about the local orientation of visible surfaces. An important task that arises in many computer vision systems is the reconstruction of three-dimensional depth information from two-dimensional images. The surface orientation of texel is classified by the Artificial Neural Network. The classification method to recognize the shape of 3D object with artificial neural network requires less developing time comparing to conventional method. The segmentation problem is assumed to be solved. The surface in view is smooth and is covered with repeated texture elements. In this study, 3D shape reconstruct using interpolation method.

  • 원인과 결과간의 위상과 work사이의 관계를 correlation function의 견지에서 검토하였고 continuous signal에 포함되어 있는 redundancy를 지적하여 sampling취급의 근거를 auto correlation면에서 보였다. 두 신호사이의 Correlation의 시간변동을 보여줄 수 있는 Time Dependent Correlation Function을 정의하여 PLL회로에서 그 유편성을 보였다. 끝으로 다상포낙선검파법에 의한 특성의 개선을 T.D.Correlation Furction에 의한 Correlation Analysis를 통하려 입증하였다.

A Bayesian Diagnostic Measure and Stopping Rule for Detecting Influential Observations in Discriminant Analysis

  • This paper suggests a new diagnostic measure and a stopping rule for detecting influential observations in multiple discriminant analysis (MDA). It is developed from a Bayesian point of view using a default Bayes factor obtained from the fractional Bayes factor methodology. The Bayes factor is taken as a discriminatory information in MDA. It is shown that the effect of an observation over the discriminatory information is fully explained by the diagnostic measure. Based on the measure, we suggest a stopping rule for detecting influential observations in a given training sample. As a tool for interpreting the measure a graphical method is sued. Performance of the method is used. Performance of the method is examined through two illustrative examples.

A computational approach to the simulation of controlled flows by synthetic jets actuators

  • The paper focuses on the integration of a non-linear one-dimensional model of Synthetic Jet (SJ) actuator in a well-assessed numerical simulation method for turbulent compressible flows. The computational approach is intended to the implementation of a numerical tool suited for flow control simulations with affordable CPU resources. A strong compromise is sought between the use of boundary conditions or zero-dimensional models and the full simulation of the actuator cavity, in view of long-term simulation with multiple synthetic jet actuators. The model is integrated in a multi-domain numerical procedure where the controlled flow field is simulated by a standard CFD method for compressible RANS equations, while flow inside the actuator is reduced to a one-dimensional duct flow with a moving piston. The non-linear matching between the two systems, which ensures conservation of the mass, momentum and energy is explained. The numerical method is successfully tested against three typical test cases: the jet in quiescent air, the SJ in cross flow and the flow control on the NACA0015 airfoil.

선박 건조 과정에서 발생하는 치수 오차 분석을 위한 가중 포인트 정합 방법 (A Weighted Points Registration Method to Analyze Dimensional Errors Occurring during Shipbuilding Process)

  • It is important to analyze dimensional errors occurring during shipbuilding process. A ship is constructed by assembling blocks and installing outfits in assembled ship structure. Blocks and outfits have a main direction that has greater importance than other directions from the view point of dimensional error. Therefore, a main direction should have a greater weighting factor than other directions in order to achieve meaningful inspection results. In this paper, a modified point registration method based on iterative closest point (ICP) is proposed. In this method, a user determines one or two main directions among x, y, and z directions, and then each main direction is made to have a greater weighting factor than other directions. For points registration, mapping between measured points and design points are performed by the modified ICP in which weighting factor assigned to each main direction is considered.

  • 본 연구에서는 지형을 Rendering 기법의 대표적인 방법인 Geometry Clipmaps와 ROAM 2.0을 분석하여 Rendering 연산에 소요되는 연산을 CPU가 아닌 GPU에 중점을 두어 보다 빠르고 넓은 가시화 영역을 보장하는 확장된 Geometry Clipmaps 알고리즘을 제안한다. 확장된 알고리즘은 LOD(Level of Detail)을 통한 각 레벨의 Mesh 구성 방법, 레벨간의 연결망 Mesh 구성 방법, VFC(View Frustum Culling)을 사용하여 Rendering을 최적화 할 수 있는 Mesh Block화 방안 그리고 최대 1m 해상도를 갖는 고해상도 영상 Mapping 방안 등을 포함하고 있다.

  • Distributed Object Systems are very complex. So, it is difficult to see overall relationship among objects participated in the system. Moreover the performance tuning or maintenance are also important issues of it. So, it needs a way to view the system with low-cost and an efficient method. One of solutions is a visualization tool or system. In this paper, we proposed a tracing facility for Java-based distributed object system, especially RM(Remote Method Invocation). Our up-coming visualization system will use two phase hybrid post-mortem/on-the-fly technique. To support it, the fundamental tracing part must have some flexible and dynamic mechanism. The main idea of our tracing technique is the Plug-in Sensor Model(PSM). The relationship between tracing (monitoring) part and visualization part is closely related. So, we considered the appropriate factors for visualization. We developed 'Traced RMI(TRMI)'. For more precise visualization of a working system, the casuality of events has to be preserved. TRMI can support global event ordering.

비압축성 유동해석 알고리듬 확장을 통한 압축성 유동장 해석 (Extension of Incompressible Flow Solver Algorithm to Analyze Compressible Flowfield)

  • The characteristics of compressible flow are different from those of incompressible flow from the mathematical and physical point of view. Therefore, the way to solve the flowfield is different between compressible flow and incompressible flow. In general, density-based numerical algorithm is mainly used for compressible flow solver development. On the other hand, incompressible flow solver prefers to use pressure-based numerical algorithm. In this research, a compressible Navier-Stokes flow solver is developed by means of extending from pressure-based incompressible numerical algorithm to handle both compressible and incompressible flows using the same flow solver. The present flow solver is tested at various speed ranges and compared with the solutions of density-based compressible flow solver. Numerical results show a good agreement between two flow solvers.

쇼핑몰에서의 보행자 이동과 시지각 시퀀스의 상관성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Concernment of Visual Environment Sequence and Human Movement in Shopping Mall)

  • Human exists in environment. As environment affects in human movement, human reacts to everything happens in environment especially by the view point of visual continuity and changeability. This study has two purposes. The one is to clarify the visual changeability due to the Human movement from the visual point based on checking the visual field. And the other is to understand the applicable possibility of Philip Thiel's method through the experiment in passing ways. Condition of this study is that colors and figures are affective elements of visual environmental sequence by the Human movement. The Human movement is due to the visual phenomenon. That means it is not limited in Philip Theil's method(Node, District). In particular, the chroma which is checked by the BPA(Basic-Pattern-Area) is the most affective visual environmental element in contemporary shopping mall. Also, everything in visual environment and the movement is connected by the time axis. As an analytical method, the sequence notation devised by Philip Thiel was applied.
