Spacecraft Formation Reconfiguration using Impulsive Control Input

  • This paper presents formation reconfiguration using impulsive control input for spacecraft formation flying. Spacecraft in a formation should change the formation size and/or geometry according to the mission requirements and space environment. To modify the formation radius and geometry with respect to the leader spacecraft, the follower spacecraft generates additional control inputs; the two impulsive control inputs are general control type of the spacecraft system. For the impulsive control input, Lambert's problem is modified to construct the transfer orbit in relative motion, given two position vectors at the initial and final time. Moreover, the numerical simulation results show the transfer trajectories to resize the formation radius in the radial/along-track plane formation and in the along-track/cross-track plane formation. In addition, the maneuver characteristics are described by comparing the differential orbital elements between the reference orbit and transfer orbit in the radial/along-track plane formation and along-track/cross-track plane formation.

적응적 Two-Track 기술을 이용한 드론의 균형 제어 (Balance Control of Drone using Adaptive Two-Track Control)

  • 소형 드론에서 사용되는 FC(Flight Controller)는 사용하는 MCU가 대형 드론과는 달라서 복잡한 연산을 수행하지 않아도 되는 단순한 구조로 개발되었다. 또한 소형 드론의 균형제어는 복잡한 필터를 이용하는 Kalman Filter나 연산수가 상대적으로 많은 Complementary Filter를 이용한 방법보다는 좀 더 단순하고 간단해야 할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이에 적합한 방법으로 동작하는 Two-Track 제어를 이용하여 효과적으로 소형 드론에서도 균형제어가 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 긴 시간의 변화량에 대한 데이터 처리를 통해 정확한 보정을 해주는 장점이 있는 Acceleration 센서와 짧은 시간의 변화량에 대한 데이터 처리를 통해 드론 균형을 유지해주는 Gyroscope 센서가 드론의 불균형에 대해 적응적으로 동작하여 단순한 구조와 적은 연산량으로도 효율적인 균형을 유지해주는 시스템이다. Two-Track 제어를 이용하여 100회 이상 반복하여 드론 비행을 실험한 결과 대부분 안정적인 동작을 수행하였으며, 갑자기 발생하는 급격한 바람의 영향에는 아직도 정상상태로 진입하는데 어려움이 있는 것을 제외하면 98% 이상 정상상태 동작을 유지하였음을 확인하였다.

클러터 환경에서의 PMHT를 이용한 자동 표적 탐지 및 추적 알고리듬 연구 (A Study on Automatic Target Detection and Tracking Algorithm with the PMHT in a Cluttered Environment)

  • A fundamental characteristic of PMHT (Probabilistic Multi-Hypothesis Tracker) is that the number of targets and initial states of targets in the surveillance area must be a priori known. This requirement is impossible to fulfil in almost every realistic scenario. In the paper, we present two track initiation methods to solve the problem. The proposed track initiation methods are 2-point track initiation and Hough transform track initiation, and they are used to evaluate track initial states and weights for FTD (False Track Discrimination) of the PMHT algorithm. Also suggested as automatic target detection for tracking systems that combines track initiation for target detection with the PMHT algorithm for target tracking in a cluttered environment. A series of Monte-Carlo simulation runs is employed to evaluate the overall system performance with the two track initiation methods and the results are compared and analyzed.

  • Automatic tracking in cluttered environment requires the initiation and maintenance of tracks, and track existence probability of true track is kept by Markov Chain Two model of target existence propagation. Unlike Markov Chain One model for target existence propagation, Markov Chain Two model is made up three hypotheses about target existence event which are that the target exist and is detectable, the target exists and is non-detectable through occlusion, and the target does not exist and is non-detectable according to non-existing target. In this paper we present multi-scan single target tracking algorithm based on the target existence, which call the Integrated Track Splitting algorithm with Markov Chain Two model in imaging sensor.

  • DTTS(Dynamic Track Tensioning System) system requires robust control performance for the various maneuvering tasks. However, it is very difficult to tune the controller gains in experiments. In this paper, the hydraulic unit is modeled and constructed into the DTTS control module in Matlab/Simulink The control module is interfaced to the vehicle dynamics module so that the control performance of the DTTS system can be evaluated in simulations. The dynamics data and control input data are exchanged between two modules at each control time-step. The gains in the fuzzy-logic controller are varied and the control performance is evaluated in simulations. The proposed simulation tool can be very useful for the gain tuning of track tension controller in bucked vehicles

  • This paper presents a new approach to the dynamic control technique for track vehicle system using neural network-fuzzy control method. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the neural network-fuzzy, and back propagation algorithm to train the fuzzy-neural network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. It is proposed a learning controller consisting of two neural network-fuzzy based on independent reasoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simply the neural networks-fuzzy. The performance of the proposed controller is shown by simulation for trajectory tracking of the speed and azimuth of a track vehicle.

  • 고속철도 차량기지에는 고전압임펄스(HVITC)와 AF 궤도회로를 사용하고 있다. HVITC는 열차의 위치검지 및 궤도 절손검지 기능을 하고, AF궤도회로는 열차제어 정보를 전송하여 고속열차의 이상 유무를 검지하는 출발 전 시험에 사용한다. 두 궤도회로는 별도로 구성되어 있고, 같은 레일을 사용하여 제어신호를 스위칭에 의해서 전송하고 있다. AF 궤도회로는 루프케이블을 궤도 안쪽에 설치하는 방법으로 구성할 수 있다. 그러면 스위치를 제거할 수 있고, 상시 시험용 제어신호를 전송할 수 있다. 이 경우에 두 궤도회로는 상호간섭이 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 두 궤도회로를 동시에 동작하는 경우에 발생되는 간섭을 두 회로의 모델링을 통하여 규명하였다.

  • In this paper, a nonlinear controller based on sliding mode control is applied to a two -wheeled Welding Mobile Robot (WMR) to track a smooth-curved welding path at a constant velocity of the welding point. T he mobile robot is considered in terms of dynamics model in Cartesian coordinates and its parameters are exactly known . To obtain the controller, the tracking errors are defined, and the two sliding surfaces are chosen to guarantee that the errors converge to zero asymptotically. Two cases are to be considered: fixed torch and controllable torch. In addition, a simple way of measuring the errors is introduced using two potentiometers. The simulation results are included to illustrate the performance of the control law.

  • This paper proposes a new track-following control method using disturbance observer with the freedom of gain and frequency adaptation in optical disk drive system. Recent ODDs use smaller track pits, higher rotation speed and broader rotational speed variations to increase the data capacity and data transfer rate. This cause the degradation of track-following performance by increasing the disturbance of the rotary system. In this paper, we discussed on a DOB structure that efficiently attenuate the disturbance without effecting the overall feedback loop characteristics on CLV type ODD which uses a higher and broader range of rotational speed. DOB structure uses two band pass filter. We analyzed the track-following performance sensitivity on rotational frequency variance and gain changes. This analysis is done on a computer simulation environment and actual ODD product.
