1982년 8월부터 1990년 11월까지 남한의 4개 지역에서 채집한 한국산 복족류를 동정한 결과 2신아종[Scelidotoma vadososinuata hoonsooi, n. subsp., Buccinum mirandum koreanum, n. subsp.]이 밝혀졌기에 이들 신아종을 보고한다.

Four external and 27 cranial characters of Korean field mice (Apodemus peninsuluek from nine localities in eastern Asia, representing ave subspecies, were analyzed by multivariate statistical methods. Three forms were recognized: a large-size form from Korea (subspecies peninsulael, southern Manchuria (praeto4, and northern Manchuria (majofi a middle-size form from urestern Siberia (tschergal and southuvestern China (sowerbyi); a small-size form from northeastern China (sowerbyi). It is also revealed that variations among the three forms are clinal rind circular. It is confirmed that Apodemus peninsuloe could be classified into two subspecies (peninsulae and sowerbyl) within the distribution range in the continent of Asia, as noted tv Corbel (1978). However, it is found that subspecies peninsulae includes praetor and moior and that subspecies sowerbyi includes tscherga, indicating that subspecies tscherga is not the synonym of subspecies peninsulae, but that of subspecies sowerbyi.

1991년 4월부터 1995년 9월까지 전국의 삼림토양에서 채집한 앉은뱅이를 동정한 결 과 큰앉은뱅이속 Parobisium magnum의 1아종을 포함한 3종을 기록했으며 이중 2신종, Parobisium longipalpus n. sp. (긴두줄앉은뱅이: 신칭), Parobisium robustiella n. sp.(작은두 줄앉은뱅이: 신칭)가 포함되어 있다. 이에 한구산 큰앉은뱅이는 총 4종이 된다.

Arcuospathidium is a haptorian ciliate genus composed of 18 species, and only one species has been reported in Korea. Here, we identify two unrecorded Arcuospathidium subspecies by morphological observation of both living and protargol-impregnated specimens with the small subunit ribosomal RNA (18S rRNA) gene sequence. These subspecies, Arcuospathidium cultriforme cultriforme (Penard, 1922) Foissner, 1984 and A. cultriforme scalpriforme (Kahl, 1930) Foissner, 2003, were isolated from various terrestrial habitats in July and August 2013, respectivley. Arcuospathidium cultriforme cultriforme is similar to A. cultriforme scalpriforme by a knife-shaped body, a twisted-shaped macronucleus, number of dorsal brushes, position of dorsal brushes, and shape of macronucleus but former mainly differs from the body length to oral bulge length ratio (27-38% vs. 41-53%), extrusome (one types vs. three types), cyst shape (roughly faceted wall vs. smooth surface and thin wall) and number of somatic kinety rows(18-30 vs. 30-44). Additionally, we analyzed the 18S rRNA gene sequences of two A. cultriforme subspecies and compared them with the sequences from GenBank to confirm their identification at the molecular level. As the results of genetic analysis, the 18S rRNA gene sequence of the Korean A. cultriforme cultriforme population is most similar to that of Austrian population. Also, the sequence of the Korean A. cultriforme scalpriforme population is most similar to that of another population with some nucleotide differences.

The rosters collected loom various keshwater habitats, such as rivers, steams, lakes, ponds, and rice paddies at twenty-four different sites in Korea were investigated. Eleven species and/or subspecies in three families of monogonont freshwater rotifers were identified, of which two species, Notholco marina and Lecane (Monostyra) stenroosi stenroosi were new to Korea. A key is presented for the twenty-two Korean species and/or subspecies which have been described by the previous taxonomic reports and the present study.

A taxonomic study on bdelloid rotifers collected from mosses and/or leaf litter at four different locations in Korea resulted in five new Korean records and a new species, Philodina wonkimi n. sp. Philodina wonkimi n. sp. is easily distinguished from its congeners by the very long antenna which is much longer than the height of the pseudosegment carrying a dorsal antenna in creeping. Among the five new Korean records, two species- and two subspecies-level taxa are new to Asia as well. Adineta rhomboidea Bērzinš, 1950 has been reported from only three European countries including the type locality, and is recorded outside Europe for the first time. Present study is the fourth record for Philodina eurystephana Schulte, 1954. In addition, a partial sequence of mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene (mtCOX1) for P. wonkimi n. sp. is provided here.

한국 담수산 윤충류의 분류학적 연구를 위하여 1990년 3月부터 1992년 2월까지 전국 일대에 산재해 있는 댐, 호수, 저수지, 연못, 논, 웅덩이 등을 대상으로 총 205개 지점에서 채집을 실시하여 조사한바, Brachionidae과의 Brachionus속에 9아종 2변종 6형이, 그리고 Platyas속에는 1종이 밝혀졌는데, 그중 Brachionus속의 1아종 4형 : Brachionus urceolaris bennini, B. angularis f. bidens, B. quadridentatus f. rhenanus, B. forficuIa f. minor, B. forficula f. angularis가 한국 미기록으로 판명되어 기재와 함께 도판을 작성하였고, 본 연구에서 확인된 Brachionus와 Platyas속내의 종들에 대해서는 물론, 연차적인 발표를 목적으로 한국산 윤형동물에 대한 전체척언 검색표를 만들었다. 따라서 지금까지 기록된 한국산 윤충류는 총 2강 4목 14과 40속 134종, 15아종, 9변종, 9형이 된다.
