경제성 분석에 의한 싱글쉘 터널의 국내 적용성 검토 연구 (Applicability of the single shell tunnel in Korea from the economic evaluation)

  • 터널공사비에 대한 국내외의 사례 조사 결과 싱글쉘 터널은 기존의 콘크리트 라이닝을 설치하는 이중쉘 터널에 비하여 공사비가 저렴하였다. 그러나 암반 상태가 불량해 질수록 싱글쉘 터널의 경제성은 급격히 저하되었다. 따라서 싱글쉘 공법은 암반상태가 양호한 지반에 적용해야 한다. 국내의 경우 일반적으로 여러 암반 등급이 다양하게 나타나므로 양호한 암반과 불량한 암반의 비율을 고려하여 싱글쉘 공법의 적용 여부를 판단해야 한다. 싱글쉘에 이용되는 숏크리트 및 록볼트는 영구지보재로서 고품질이어야 하므로 지보재료의 저렴한 공급여부에 따라서 싱글쉘 공법의 적용 대상 암반이 확대될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

수치해석과 현장계측을 통한 병렬터널의 최소 필라폭과 보강에 대한 평가 (Assessment of minimum pillar width and reinforcement of parallel tunnel using numerical analysis and field monitoring)

  • 국가적으로 국토의 효율적 활용과 친환경성 등으로 인해 터널과 같은 지하공간 건설이 필요하다. 친환경적 요소의 중요성을 감안할 때, 산악지에 형성되는 도로건설에 대해 2-아치 및 대단면 터널로 계획되나 경제성, 시공성, 공사기간, 유지관리 등의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 2차로의 국도터널을 기준으로 현장조건과 지반조건을 고려하여 터널별 이격거리와 토피고를 변화시켜 경험식과 수치해석적으로 필라부의 안전성을 평가하였으며, 해석 프로그램으로 유한요소법을 적용한 Plaxis 2D를 활용하여 터널의 최소 필라폭 선정과 전체적인 터널의 거동특성을 분석하였다. 분석결과, Tie-Bolt에 의한 필라보강은 연직하중을 분산시켜 안전적인 근접병렬터널 계획이 가능하며, 터널 필라의 거동은 현장계측 결과와 잘 일치하는 것으로 나타났으며, 지반조건에 따라 터널 필라폭을 축소시킨다면 이전의 터널에 비해 효율적인 터널 활용이 가능하다.

존 모델을 이용한 종류식 배연 터널 화재시 연기 거동에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on Smoke Movement in Longitudinal Ventilation Tunnel Fires Using a Zone Model)

  • Many researches have been performed to analyze the smoke movement in tunnel fires by using field model. Recently, FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator) v.4, which is one of the field model and developed from NIST(National Institute of Standards and Technology), is widely used. In tunnel fires, FDS can show detail results in local point, but it has difficulties in boundary condition and taking long computing time as the number of grid increases. So, there is a need to use alternative method for tunnel fire simulation. A zone model is different kind of CFD method and solves ordinary differential equation based on conservation and auxiliary equations. It shows good macroscopic view in less computing time compared to field model. In this study, therefore, to confirm the applicability of CFAST in tunnel fire analysis, numerical simulations using CFAST are conducted to analyze smoke movement in longitudinal ventilation reduced-scale tunnel fires. Then the results are compared with experimental results. The differences of temperature and critical velocity between numerical results and experimental data are over $30^{\circ}C$ and 0.9m/s, respectively. These values are out of error range. It shows that CFAST 6.0 is hard to be used for tunnel fire simulation.

  • Rock Mass Rating has been widely applied to the underground tunnel excavation and many other practical problems in rock engineering. However, Rock Mass Rating is hard to make out because it is difficult to estimate each valuation items through all kind of field situations and items of RMR have interdependence. So the experts of tunnel assessment have problems with rating rock mass. In this study, using multivariate analysis based on domestic data(1011EA) of water conveyance tunnel, we presented rock mass rating system which is objective and easy to use. The constituents of RMR are decided to RQD, condition of discontinuities, groundwater conditions, orientation of discontinuities, intact rock strength, spacing of discontinuities in important order. In each step, we proposed the best multiple regression model for RMR system. And using data which have been collected at other site, we examined that presented multiple regression model was useful.

  • The purpose of this paper is to understand the key factors for efficient maintenance of rapidly aging facilities. Therefore, the safety inspection/diagnosis reports accumulated in the unstructured data were collected and preprocessed. Then, the analysis was performed using a text mining analysis method. The derived vulnerabilities of tunnel facilities can be used as elements of inspections that take into account the characteristics of individual facilities during regular inspections and daily inspections in the short term. In addition, if detailed specification information and other inspection results(safety, durability, and ease of use) are used for analysis, it provides a stepping stone for supporting preemptive maintenance decision-making in the long term.

터널 애자류 오염도 분석과 세정주기 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Selection of Cleaning Period and Pollution Analysis of Insulators in Tunnel)

  • 본 연구는 터널구간 내 설치된 각종 애자류의 오염도를 평가하여 각 터널구간마다 세정주기를 마련하기 위해 연구를 수행하였다. 세정주기는 전국의 각 지역을 대상으로 공해, 산업단지, 염해지역을 샘플링하여 애자류에 부착된 오염도에 의해 평가되었다. 그 결과, 오염물의 증가에 의해 포집량과 도전율은 증가하였고, 각 터널마다 그 값은 서로 다르게 나타났다. 특히, 공해 및 염해가 심한 지역은 도전율이 높게 나타났으며, 주기적인 세정계획을 수립하여 관리하는 것이 사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한 기존에 애자 표면에 도포하는 절연그리스는 사용을 자제하는 것이 장기적으로 사고를 방지할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The system which can manage and analyse the tunnel information in design and construction stage was developed through several years' research named ITIS(Intelligent Tunnel Information System). Now, the system is being modified and improved for the use of international tunnel construction information sharing. Some countries have their own management system for tunnel construction, and one of them, called DEST(Data Evaluation System for Tunneling), is adopted for the international cooperation for this research of development. The aimed system is operated under world wide web environment.

  • The geothermal energy have been developed as the pro-environmental and the substantial long-term energy. Recently energy foundations and other thermo-active ground structures have been developed to enhance the use of geothermal energy. In this research, a tunnel wall is focused as a source of geothermal energy. If the tunnel wall can be used for geothermal source, it can provide relatively lower cost because it is not necessary to make a deep borehole like in case of closed-loop vertical ground heat exchanger. For analyzing efficiency of heat exchanger in tunnel, laboratory tests and the numerical analyses are performed.

  • In tennelling lattice girders have basically the same function as steel arch supports. They serve as elements of temporary lining and in some cases also as part of the permanent lining. Also lattice girders are closely connected with that of the shotcreting lining technique. This paper presents the results of modelling test for analysing shorcrete rebound, shotcreting time and finding void spaces using the aretificial tunnel wall which consist of wood to evaluate the site applicability of lattice girders for tunnel support. Test results indicate that in case of using lattice girders as a tunnel support material, shotcrete rebound, shotcreting time and occurrence of void spaces are relatively reduced comparing to H-beam steel rib. And we can get some informations ths lattice girder has various advantages when we use it as one of tunnel support materials.

  • Based on the investigation results on the damages of some underground structures due to the severe Kobe Earthquake it concludes that the aseismicity of underground is far superior to that of aboveground structures. Therefore, at first, necessity to reconstruct strong cities especially by good use of underground space will be discussed. Then two non-circular shield-tunneling projects in Japan are discussed. The first is construction of the world's first shield driven double track subway tunnel of rectangular shape for the Kyoto Municipal Subway. This paper presents a report on the overall planning, the tests that were performed in the process of planning, and the results of driving. The second is the design of the Hirakata Tunnel, with three traffic lanes and shoulders on one side, which will be constructed as one of the tunnels for The New Meishin (Nagoya-Kobe) Expressways. This paper presents the feasibility study of the shield tunneling method, using the same design criteria as the non-circular, horseshoe section of mountain tunnel, to the equivalent section of the Hirakata Tunnel.
