타워강성 효과를 고려한 소형 수직축 풍력발전기 운전 진동실험 및 해석 (Operational Vibration Experiment and Analysis of a Small Vertical-Axis Wind Turbine Considering the Effect of Tower Stiffness)

  • In this study, operational vibration experiment and analysis have been conducted for the 4-blade small vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT) including the effect of tower elastic behavior. Computational structural dynamics analysis method is applied to obtain Campbell diagram for the VAWT with elastic tower. An open type wind-tunnel is used to change and keep the wind velocity during the ground test. Equivalent reduced elastic tower is supported to the VAWT so that the elastic stiffness effect of the tower can be reflected to the present vibration experiment. Various excitation sources with aerodynamic forces are considered and the dominant operating vibration phenomena are physically investigated in detail.

차음성능시험에서 시편설치위치에 대한 실험적 고찰 (Investigation for effect of the specimen location on sound transmission loss measurement)

  • When measuring sound transmission loss (STL) in a laboratory, the specimen location in test aperture affects considerably the measuring accuracy through the influence of so-called “tunneling effect” In this paper, for a single panel and a double panel with air cavity, experimental STL evaluations on various specimen locations on test aperture were carried out to explain the phenomenon. It is shown that the difference of STL is more than 2dB especially at the low frequency region and the case of the center-located panel yielded the lower STL than that of flushing with the end of tunnel, which confirms that the tunneling effect plays an important role in STL measurement.

  • 국내 에너지의 장기적인 수요상황을 볼 때 원자력 발전의 비중이 확대되는 것은 불가피 하므로 환경 친화적인 사용 후 핵연료의 관리 및 고준위 폐기물의 처분방안의 마련은 원자력의 개발만큼이나 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 방사성 폐기물의 효율적인 관리와 저장 및 열제거를 위하여 최적 환기시스템을 적용한 처분장 설계를 목적으로 여러 환기시스템 설계안을 비교 분석하였다. 분석결과, 8가지 중 case 4(병렬회로)와 case 6(혼합 Diagonal 회로)의 환기효율이 우수한 결과를 나타냈으며, 이와 같은 연구를 통해 환경 친화적인 처분장의 건설이 가능할 것이다.

  • The dynamic behavior of underground structures is complex due to the effects of vibrational characteristics of the structure and the rock. In this study, dynamic displacement responses at the structure surface by the elastic stress waves are considered as the vibrational characteristics, and evaluated by the form of the frequency spectrum. The variation of the vibrational characteristic is simulated by numerical analysis at the case of the structure has internal defections. The results reveals the possibility of the experimental detection of void existence and size. Furthermore, the verification of the dynamic response can be used for rating the stability of a tunnel.

터널발파의 진동특성 및 발파시차에 의한 진동제어 (The characteristics of blast-vibration in tunnel-blasting and the vibration control by delay-time)

  • 터널발파는 벤치발파와 달리 일반적으로 심발발파, 주변공발파, 조절발파를 적용하는 최외곽공 발파로 나눌 수 있는데, 본 연구에서는 심발공법별 터널발파의 진동특성을 자유면의 수를 고려하여 해석하였다. 또한 터널발파의 발파효율에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 심발발파 발파공들간의 지연지차를 서로 달리하면서 시험발파를 수행하였다. 국내 고속전철 건설현장의 터널발파시 측정한 진동속도의 파형분석결과 1자유면 발파인 심발발파시 발생하는 발파진동이 2자유면 발파인 주변공 발파시 발생하는 발파진동보다 30% 이상 더 크게 나타났고, 조절발파용 화약을 사용한 최외곽공 발파의 경우는 주변공발파보다 20% 정도 작은 진동속도를 나타내었다. 심발공법별 비교에서는 SUPEX-Cut의 경우가 국내에서 가장 널리 사용되는 V-Cut에 비해 20-30% 정도 더 작은 진동속도를 나타내었다. 또한 심발공들을 동시에 발파한 경우와 각 발파공의 시차를 서로 다르게 한 경우의 심발 시험발파 결과를 분석한 결과, 발파공간의 발파시차를 60msec 이상으로 하였을 때, 각 발파공의 발파시 발생한 진동이 서로 중첩되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

CFD/CSD 통합 연계기법을 이용한 횡방향 곡률이 있는 날개의 가상 플러터 시험 (Virtual Flutter Test of a Spanwise Curved Wing Using CFD/CSD Integrated Coupling Method)

  • The coupled time-integration method with a staggered algorithm based on computational structural dynamics (CSD), finite element method (FEM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been developed in order to demonstrate physical vibration phenomena due to dynamic aeroelastic excitations. Virtual flutter tests for the spanwise curved ing model have been effectively conducted using the present advanced computational method with high speed parallel processing technique. In addition, the present system can simultaneously give a recorded data file to generate virtual animation for the flutter safety test. The results for virtual flutter test are compared with the experimental data of wind tunnel test. It is shown from the results that the effect of spanwise curvature have a tendency to decrease the flutter dynamic pressure for the same flight condition.

  • Small-scaled Rotor Test facility(GSRTS, General Small-scaled Rotor Test Facility) in KARI could not use the test because facility aging and parts discontinued. Also in order to perform a joint international research, GSRTS modifications should be needed. So requirements of GSRTS modifications were established and according to the requirements, GSRTS modifications were conducted. Facility operation test, 6-component fixed balance calibration, Small-scaled OLS rotor performance test were performed to verify the results of GSRTS modifications. Reasonable results were obtained in comparison to calculation results. Then GSRTS ready was completed to conduct international collaborative research and wind tunnel test.

무베어링 헬리콥터 로터 시스템의 동특성 해석 (Dynamic Characteristic Analyses of a Bearingless Helicopter Rotor System)

  • Recently, KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute) has been developing a modern 11.5 m diameter four bladed bearingless main rotor system, and this rotor system can be used for 7,000 lb class helicopter. Flexbeam and torque tube can be considered as key structural components, and large elastic twist of flexbeam induced by pitch control motion of torque tube can influence the nonlinear aeroelastic behavior. In this paper, the dynamic characteristic analysis results of bearingless rotor system were presented. In order to construct a input model and validate the analysis procedures, calculated results using the comprehensive helicopter analysis program CAMRAD II were compared with the measured natural frequencies and lag damping data from small-scale wind tunnel test. Next, the analysis model was extended to a full-scale model, and the dynamic analysis results were presented.

공기-횡 유동장에 놓인 유연성 실린더 관군의 유체탄성 불안정 (Fluidelastic Instability of Flexible Cylinders in Tube Bundle Subjected to Cross Air-flow)

  • Using wind tunnel, experimental approaches were employed to investigate fluidelastic instability of tube bundles, subjected to uniform cross flow. There are several flow-induced vibration excitation mechanisms, such as fluidelastic instability, periodic wake shedding resonance, turbulence-induced excitation and acoustic resonance, which could cause excessive vibration in shell-and tube heat exchanges. Fluidelastic is the most important vibration excitation mechanism for heat exchanger tube bundles subjected to cross flow. The system comprised of cantilevered flexible cylinder(s) and rigid cylinders of normal square array, In order to see the characteristics of flow in tube bundles, particle image velocimetry was used. From a practical design point of view, Fluidelastic instability may be expressed simply in terms of dimensionless flow velocity and dimensionless mass-damping. The threshold flow velocity for dynamic instability of cylinder rows is evaluated and the data for design guideline is proposed for the tube bundles of normal square array.
