터널 환경측정 시스템 개발 및 측정 I -개발 시스템 및 지하철터널 측정- (Development of Tunnel-Environment Monitoring System and Its Installation I -Monitoring System and Measurement in Subway Tunnel-)

  • 터널에 온도, 습도, 풍향, 풍속 등의 환경 데이터를 실시간으로 측정하여 전송 및 화재감지기의 경년시험 등을 수행할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 터널 환경측정 시스템은 철도터널 중 금정터널, 솔안터널 및 서울지하철 4호선 터널 등 국내 3개의 대표 터널 현장에 설치가 되어 약 1년 이상 터널환경이 측정되었으며 안정적으로 운용되었다. 또한 서울지하철 4호선 과천선 본선터널에 설치된 2기의 개발된 터널 환경 측정시스템으로부터 측정된 결과를 분석하였다. 개발된 터널 환경측정 시스템은 무선 통신망을 이용하여 터널 환경을 24시간 연속으로 안전적으로 분석가능하며 터널뿐만 아니라 여러 분야에 활용이 가능할 것이다.

서울시 주요 터널내 기체상 오염물질 농도 측정 (Measurements of Gaseous Pollutants in Major Tunnels in Seoul)

  • Gaseous pollutants in Namsan Nos. 1, 2, and 3 tunnels and Pukak tunnel were measured along the road by an air-monitoring van from the evening of February 9 to the morning of February 12 in 1993. Average concentrations of pollutants in Namsan tunnels were 9.2-13.5 ppm CO and 0.037-0.047 ppm SO$_{2}$. Average concentrations of SO$_{2}$ in Pukak tunnel was 0.79 ppm, higher than those in Namsan tunnels, due to the traffic of heavy-duty buses and trucks. The pollutant concentrations in Namsan tunnesl could be explained by emission of passenger cars using unleaded gasolin and LPG taxies. Average concentration of NO$_{x}$ in Namsan tunnels was at least 1.1 ppm, estimated from the emission factor of pasenger cars using unleaded gasoline. Pollutant concentrations in Namsan No. 3 tunnel were higher at the exit because of the piston action of air mass in the tunnel provided by the traffic. Fans installed at Namsan and Pukak tunnes could be useful, but their flushing action of ambient air in the tunnel was not clearly observed.d.

  • Passengers in automobile or train are exposed to a worse noise environment when they are in the tunnel than in the open field. This is due to a relatively higher space density of sound energy by multiple reflection phenomenon of noise generated by operation of transportation vehicles from tunnel wall compared to open field. In this study, noise characteristics of subway train running through a tunnel were investigated at straight/curved track and tunnel type(semi circular/box). Also the noise measured simultaneously at inner and outer sides of train running through a tunnel, so that the coherence of the various noise sources of subway train to inner noise was evaluated.

  • This paper draws performance results through comparing WMNs' methods when the WMNs are used in tunnel construction sites. There are many advantages of WMNs : lower cost, easy to network maintenance, robustness and reliability within RF-ranges. As a result, using the WMNs would be suitable to employ as a network infrastructure for the construction sites. This paper evaluates the performance of WMNs which we have installed in a tunnel construction. Through the performance results, we conclude the performance of data throughputs gets lower when we perform the network in tunnel environments. We make attempts WMNs' two major methods which are SISC(Single Interface with Single Channel) and MIMC(Multi Interface with Multi Channel) to figure out which method will be better for the construction sites. Through the experiments, the WMN based on the MIMC method was comparatively suitable in network performance aspect for the tunnel Sites.

  • The system which can manage and analyse the tunnel information in design and construction stage was developed through several years' research named ITIS(Intelligent Tunnel Information System). Now, the system is being modified and improved for the use of international tunnel construction information sharing. Some countries have their own management system for tunnel construction, and one of them, called DEST(Data Evaluation System for Tunneling), is adopted for the international cooperation for this research of development. The aimed system is operated under world wide web environment.

  • The Cutting slope is to be minimized when a tunnel meets the contour of slope terrain at a right angle around its portal. However, a tunnel portal has been generally installed at a right angle to the longitudinal axis of a tunnel with no consideration of the intersection angle with the slope terrain. This sometimes tended to cause huge cutting slope that resulted in many disadvantage in terms of safty, economy and environment. Therefore, the minimization of cutting slope is studied by taking the intersection angle into account, and the result is compared with that by the conventional method. In addition a design method for the inclined portal to the tunnel axis is proposed through 3D-FEM analysis, also the applicable ground condition is suggested.

  • Specification of reinforcement method was suggested according to the ground condition and tunnelling environment such as adjacent building and surface settlement. Tunnel database consists of 8 different groups of data according to the tunnel construction situations and major problems of ground. A tunnel countermeasure expert system based on client/server system was developed with on-line. The expert system provides proper solution to the each construction sites backing up the information of the tunnelling and ground information through Internet. The effective factors of tunnel construction were shown by the analyzing relationship and partial relationship between face stability and RMR factors. This study will be very helpful to make the most of in-situ data and suggest proper applicability of tunnel reinforcement system escaping from the dependence of some experienced experts for the absent of guide.

산림관통 터널 입출구부 위치와 훼손 면적의 관계 (Relationship between the Locations of Tunnel Entrance and Areas Affected by Deforestation in the Forest in Korea)

  • 터널은 산림 훼손면적이 다른 공법에 비해 입구부와 출구부만 훼손하면서 도로가 지하로 건설되기 때문에 훼손면적을 줄일 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 본 연구는 터널 건설 시 산림이 훼손되는 터널입출구부를 중심으로 주변 지형과 관계를 살펴보고, 훼손면적을 최소화하고 지형 훼손을 저감할 수 있는 방향을 제시하기 위해 진입유형별 훼손면적을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구는 국내 주요도로의 터널 150개를 선별하여 입구부와 출부구를 합쳐 300개 지점에 대해 진입유형을 구분하고 터널 진입부 훼손면적과 터널 상부 훼손면적을 산출하였다. 터널조성 위치에 따른 통계분석결과 진입유형별 훼손면적은 통계적 유의성이 인정되었다. 경사면직교형은 다른 진입유형에 비해 터널입출구부의 훼손면적은 작았으며, 반대로 골짜기진입형, 경사면평행형은 다른 진입유형에 비해 훼손 면적이 크게 나타났다. 지형을 고려한 터널위치 선정은 터널 1개소 당 최대 약 1.5ha 정도의 산림훼손을 줄일 수 있을 것으로 조사되었다.

  • 양양 양수발전소 건설 지역 터널 내에서 동일 암상 내에 부존하는 단열 암반 대수층 지하수를 수평/수직적 관점에서 체계적으로 채취하고 수리지구화학 및 환경동위원소 특성 연구를 수행하고 있다. 현재까지 모아진 특성 자료를 공간적 변화와 관련하여 예비 고찰한 곁과, 연구 지역에는 두 가지 상이한 지하수 유통계를 이루고 있는 것으로 판단된다.
